Guys, I am so sorry that I've been MIA for this fanfic! I wanted to get as many chapters of Scars out as I could before finishing my other fanfics.

Ein may have a "crush" on Rosemary but it'll never happen because her and Daniel are literally destined for one another and no one can change my mind.

Once the word of Aphmau fainting had come in the form of a text from Kai, Rosemary had all but smashed through a window and hurry towards where they were; leading to where she was now.

Sitting beside the bed where her sister was resting, the vermilion eyed beauty gazed at her twin and watched as she looked towards her with a bashful smile on her face.

'Well, there's no need to worry, dear',The nurse reassured the girl and watched as both the siblings turned her way,'It looks like it was a small case of heat exhaustion'

A nervous chuckle left Aphmau's lips and hearing the way her heart raced within her chest, Rosemary slowly turned her sister's way, furrowing her eyebrows as a small drop of sweat slowly traveled down the side of Aphmau's face.

'It's not that hot outside, so it's a bit odd..',The nurse hummed,'But, I definitely think you should rest before your next class, okay?'

A hum of suspicion left Rosemary's lips and eyes of fire narrowed in wariness, looking the girl up and down as she chuckled nervously.

Ever since they had started school, not once had Aphmau ever fainted from heat exhaustion and even if she did, Rosemary would've known about it.

'Yes ma'am'

'Good! Now, get some rest. I'll wake you up when the bell rings',The nurse said and then, turned her lavender eyes towards the werewolf beside her,'And dear, if you'd like, you can stay here with her until next class, alright? I'll notify your teacher to let him know what happened'

With a small smile towards the woman, Rosemary slowly nodded and sharp canines gently poked at her lips as she kindly smiled at the nurse, her tail swaying quite quickly behind her.

Giving a quick smile to the young werewolf, the nurse turned around and walked away from the two sisters.

Once she was gone, a deadpanned expression formed on the young beta's face as she slowly turned towards Aphmau and watched as her sister faced her, a nervous smile on her face.

Sitting up straight in her chair, the vermilion eyed werewolf narrowed her eyes at her twin sister and crossed her arms over her chest, slowly raising her eyebrow as a frown harshly pulled down at her lips.

A small groan of embarrassment left Aphmau's lips and she placed her hands over her eyes as a small cry of annoyance left her lips.

'I can't believe I actually fainted in front of Kai!',She cried out in disbelief and then, looked towards Rosemary,'Hey Rose, how'd I get here?'

With a soft chuckle leaving her lips at the blush of embarrassment on her twin's cheeks, Rosemary slowly shook her head and sent the anxious girl a small smile.

"Don't worry Aph, I carried you here",Rosemary explained,"I knew that if you found out that Kai had brought you here, you'd be freaking out right about now"

With a small sigh of relief, Aphmau relaxed and then, looked up at the ceiling.

'Why am I like this around Kai, Rose?',The ravenette questioned,'Just because he's smart, sensitive... hot and kind. Do I have a crush on him!? No, I couldn't possibly.. I haven't had a crush on someone since..'

Eyes narrowing in protectiveness, Rosemary looked at her sister and slowly looked between her eyes as a blush spread across her sister's face.

Finally realizing that her sister was right beside her, Aphmau shrieked in embarrassment and slapped her hands to her cheeks, shaking her head.

Speaking of the devil, Aphmau's phone went off as she got a text from Aaron and she looked towards Rosemary, watching as a small smirk spread across her lips as she rose her eyebrows tauntingly.

'Oh, shush you!'

As Aphmau gently pushed her shoulder, the crimson eyed werewolf chuckled slightly and slowly shook her head, rising from her seat.

The loud ringing of the bell echoed throughout the school and Rosemary looked up, her eyes widening slightly as she hurriedly picked up her books, looking towards Aphmau as she gestured towards the door.

Quickly rushing towards the door, Rosemary pushed it open and ran down the hall; if she ended up being late then she really didn't want to hear her teacher's disappointment speech once again.

Small puffs left the girl's lips as she ran through the halls as quickly as she could to get to her class and passed by a few teachers who had yelled for her to slow down in the halls; which she ignored.

Finally making it to the door just as the final bell rang, a small sigh of relief and exhaustion left Rosemary's lips as she walked into the classroom, heading towards her seat.

Placing her bag on the ground, the beta dropped down into her seat with huffs of exhaustion and placed her arms on the table, dropping her head into her arms.

'Are you okay, Rose? You seem out of breath'

Looking up, eyes of fire and the ocean clashed together as one, causing a small smile to pull at her lips as she looked at the green-haired werewolf, nodding slowly.

"I'm fine, I went to the nurses office to see how Aph was and ran to get here on time",Rosemary explained and her eyes softened at the worry brewing within his eyes,"I appreciate the concern though, Daniel"

The boy was speechless as his lips parted and his heart fluttered within his chest as it sped up in it's beat, pink spreading across his cheeks like a wave.

Eyes of the ocean glistened lightly as they sparkled and widened only slightly as he stared into her beautiful eyes that reminded him of the reddest of rubies.

Her smile glistened like the prettiest of diamonds and the aura that surrounded her as she beamed at him, reminded the young werewolf of the serenity of crystal clear waves that gently washed upon the shore of a beach.

And the way she smiled at him, only made his heart beat faster.

The new schedule that had been given to the young, crimson eyed werewolf resided in her hands and her eyebrows furrowed as she looked down at the piece of paper, gaze switching between the sheet and the classrooms.

She was thankful that she still had werewolf class and the same lunch as Daniel, but hopefully Aphmau was still at their lunch as well.

Walking up to the classroom, once she had seen the letters engraved into the sign on the side of the door caused the young girl to freeze up and her shoulders tensed up as Rosemary stared at the sign with wide eyes.

History.

Oh great.

Shaking her head, the crimson-eyed teen held her head high and breathed in slowly before walking into the classroom, holding her books tightly to her chest.

Eyes of rubies slowly looked around the room and examined each of the faces, before steely grey and crimson locked onto one another, causing the young beta's eyes to slightly widen in shock.

But as she looked around for an empty seat, she had realized that the only available seat was beside him and she watched as many of the other werewolves in the class faintly smiled her way.

Shrugging slightly to herself, Rosemary walked towards the back of the class and gently placed her binder, notebooks and hard covered books on the desk, before sitting in her seat; a sigh of relief leaving her lips.

Thankfully she had made it just before the teacher arrived or else she'd most likely get yelled at for being late.

Or even worse, get detention.

Placing her hand on her cheek, the beta turned her head towards the omega and a small smile of greeting spread across her lips, watching as the boy's eyes widened slightly.

His heart pounded as butterflies erupted within his stomach, a flustered sweat building at the bridge of his nose and the ears atop of his head twitched with anxiety, the fur of his tail nervously standing on edge.

It wasn't that she had even smiled his way that had stunned him, no, for it was quite natural for a beta and an omega to get along quite well.

What had stunned him, was the way her beauty seemed to magnify under the fluorescents and the light gleamed around her as if she were an angel; her skin almost glowing.

'Listen up everyone, today we're going to be learning about two very ancient werewolves that are an important part of werewolf history. Now, this worksheet requires two of you so I want all of you to look to your right and that person will be your partner for this assignment'

Hearing this, Rosemary's eyebrows furrowed and she looked down at the history book, her eyes gleaming with curiosity.

The two most ancient werewolves in history, didn't that mean-?

Eyes widening in horror, Rosemary quickly looked up and her eyes connected with Ein's, before she watched as he smiled her way, noticing that they'd be partners for this assignment.

A worried smile slowly formed on Rosemary's face and her eyes gleamed with uncertainty, but she tried to bury it deep down so that he didn't get suspicious.

They'd be learning about what she was and all of her fellow werewolves were terrified of the beast that is her ancestor.

The same beast that ran deep within her blood.

But what terrified her the most, was that she'd see just how much of a monster she truly is.

Slowly opening the book to the page number, Rosemary froze as electric blue eyes glared into her soul and a large, dark chocolate brown face of fur stared right back at the beta, sharp canines bared threateningly.

Seeming to notice her unease, Ein turned towards his higher up and gently placed his hand on her shoulder, which caught her attention, causing him to send a small smile her way.

'It's okay, Rosemary, there's no need to worry',The boy reassured her with a soft smile and looked back down at the book,'The Evolved has been extinct for hundreds of years'

With a small frown on her face, Rosemary slowly turned to look back down at the book and swallowed nervously as the beast of her past stared right back up at her.

The same beast that resided within her very cells.

'I don't get why people were so afraid of it though, I think it's pretty cool'

Eyes widening in surprise, a light gasp left the beta's lips and she quickly looked towards the werewolf, watching as he stared down at the beast on the page with fascination.

Lips parted as a fluttering feeling within her chest and stomach blossomed, a beautiful sparkle appeared within eyes of fire, a gentle shade of blush slowly spreading across her skin; the canines within her mouth clearly visible through her agape lips.

Never in her life had she ever heard someone actually compliment the very abomination she was and Rosemary began to wonder if maybe; just maybe, anyone else had seen the beauty in what she was too.

And little did she know, that far into the future, someone had accepted that monstrous side of her and only embraced the beautiful goddess she was through the darkness of those rumors.

Sitting in class, the group watched as Kawaii~Chan and Dante geeked out over Fairy Tale and Rosemary rose an eyebrow, looking between the two.

'Well, it looks like Kawaii~Chan and Dante found a thing they have in common'

'Doesn't Dante know that we like anime too?'

Watching the two, Rosemary slowly blinked her vermilion eyes and slightly tilted her head to the side, the ears atop of her head twitching slightly.

"I.. really don't think he cares at the moment",The beta trailed off as she watched the pair.

'He definitely doesn't.. since we're not Kawaii~Chan',Travis agreed with his friend,'He never talks about anime with me'

Frowning slightly, Rosemary turned towards her friend and placed her hand on his shoulder with a small smile, watching as he turned towards her, lightly smiling back.

'So.. does he actually like anime or is he just looking for a reason to talk to Kawaii~Chan?',Aphmau asked and looked between the group,'Because if so, that's.. pretty messed up'

"To be honest, if he is I wouldn't be surprised because it's Dante",Rosemary stated and looked back towards the two,"But that's a messed up method to flirt with, even for Dante"

Pretending to like something that someone else did wasn't the right way to flirt with someone, because the person could be so passionate about that one thing, that they could be so excited to finally be able to talk to someone they think likes the same thing.

Only for it to not be true.

'Agreed'

'No, he actually likes it',Travis told the three girls and then, looks back towards Dante,'He just doesn't talk about it often. I can't tell if he's actually hitting on Kawaii~Chan or being genuine'

Furrowing her eyebrows, a small frown formed on Katelyn's face and and a confused look coated her features.

'Why are you even friends with Dante?'

'Because he's always there for me and has my back',Travis admitted and glanced towards the blue haired girl,'Plus he's a really nice guy once you get to know him. Why're you friends with Rosemary and Aphmau?'

Eyes of the sky turned towards the the two girls, looking them both up and down as a small smile twitched up at the side of both of their lips; Rosemary showing off her sharp canines, her vermilion eyes looking towards the navy blue haired girl.

'Aphmau's a good person, kind and has a great personality.. except when she drops scripts',Katelyn explained, looking at the young girl and Aphmau quickly looked towards the blue haired girl, shouting out in offense,'And Rosemary's loyal, protective and has an amazing way of showing the different kinds of bonds she has with each of her friends'

With a small smile forming on her face, Rosemary's vermilion eyes brightened and her tail began to sway quicker as her canines gently poked at her bottom lip as she smiled, her eyes seeming to glow with happiness.

'Although..',Katelyn started and dragged out the end of the word,'She can be pretty scary when she's angry'

Snapping her head back in the girl's direction, Rosemary's mouth dropped open as she went to argue, but stopped short and thought to herself for a moment, before slowly nodding in agreement.

That's true, she even scared herself sometimes.

'Either way, Dante's been my friend for a long time',Travis explained,'In elementary school, I got picked on and Dante stood up for me'

A surprised look formed on Katelyn's face and she looked towards Rosemary; who had the same look on her face, causing the two to look back towards the snowy haired boy.

'Really?',Katelyn asked,'I didn't know that'

A small smirk formed on Travis's face and he leaned his arm against the desk, staring at Katelyn.

'Well, there are probably a lot of things you don't know about me',Travis started,'But, if you give me a chance—'

'I'll pass'

A loud laugh left Rosemary's lips and Travis looked towards the werewolf with a pout on his face, a red hue coating his cheeks in embarrassment.

'Rosemary!',The boy whined out and watched as the werewolf only continued to laugh.

'Mr. Moore, please send Aphmau down to the principal's office'

Ears perking up in shock and confusion, Rosemary sat up straight and a low rumble slowly rose up her throat.

What was going on?

'Understood',Mr. Moore replied and looked towards the girl.

The whole class oo'ed and looked towards the ravenette, causing Rosemary's fur to bristle as her lips twitched up; showing her canines, as a low growl slowly left her mouth.

"Shut up, you all act like you've never been called down to the office before"

Confused by what was going on, Aphmau looked to her friends and sister for guidance, but was quickly ushered out of the room by the teacher.

Watching as her sister walked by, a low hum left Rosemary lips as she looked between her and the teacher.

As she was talking to Katelyn and Travis, a strange sensation ran throughout Rosemary's body and it made her chest tighten, an azure hue flashing across her eyes before returning back to normal as a small gasp left her lips as she quickly stood from her seat.

Confused by the girl's actions, Katelyn and Travis looked up at the girl, their eyebrows furrowed.

'Uhh.. Rosemary, is everything alright?'

It was as if an unknown force had taken a hold of her body because before she even knew it, Rosemary was running out of the classroom and down the hall as quickly as she could go, small pants leaving her lips.

The bell ringing had barely registered in Rosemary's brain as she turned the corner and before she could stop herself, she had run into someone full force, knocking the both of them off of their feet as they landed on the floor with groans leaving their lips; their breath being pulled from their bodies.

"Watch where the hell you're going!",Rosemary exclaimed as soon as she had caught her second wind and she sat up, rubbing her head in pain before soon realizing who she had run into.

Steel and magma connected as the two werewolves stared at one another; one in horror, the other in anger and then realization.

"Oh.. Ein, sorry about—"

Quickly scrambling to his feet, the omega began to profusely apologize as he held out his hand and as soon as Rosemary placed her hand in his own, Ein pulled the girl to her feet.

'I'm so sorry about that! I wasn't watching where I was going and I didn't see you, I didn't mean to—'

A small chuckle left the vermilion eyed girl as Rosemary slowly shook her head, looking at her friend with a soft look and a gentle smile.

"It's fine, Ein, it was my fault really, so I'm sorry about that",Rosemary apologized and then, her eyes widened in realization,"Oh my god.. Aphmau. I'm sorry, but I have to go"

Before she could even turn around, the boy reached out and grabbed her arm, causing Rosemary to immediately stop as she stared down at his hand in shock, before slowly looking back up at him.

Realizing what he had done, Ein quickly pulled his hand away and he cleared his throat, a red hue coating his cheeks.

'What's going on? What's wrong with our alpha female?'

With a small sigh, Rosemary stood up straight and looked between her friend's grey eyes, wondering if she should tell him or not.

Looking between the principal and the gym teacher as she was being accused of being involved with the shadow knights, Aphmau slowly began to shake with anxiety and prayed that Rosemary wouldn't be getting called in.

Since she used to actually be involved with the shadow knights; for a reason.

'Please understand that keeping you in custody is a precaution, we're not saying you did it, but..'

'You're saying I did it!',Aphmau exclaimed,'That's just—'

Before anyone could say anything more, the window behind Aphmau smashed completely as two bodies went flying through them, causing everyone to look towards them and Aphmau jumped back in shock; trying not to get hit with any shards.

Standing to their full heights, Rosemary and Ein stood side by side as they panted from running, the girl of the two werewolves shook her head and tail, getting all shards out of her fur.

Eyes of glowing magma burned harshly and a harsh aura filled the air as it was almost suffocating everyone within the room as soon as she had looked up, tail of caramel slowly swaying behind her towering; but short, form.

'We heard Aphmau was in trouble!'

'Ein!',Aphmau yelled out in shock and calmed down as soon as she had locked eyes with her sister, a small sigh of relief leaving her lips,'Rosemary'

'Where did you two even come from?'

"...Through the window",Rosemary said with a sarcastic undertone and a small smile on her face.

But it was true, they did come through the window.

A small sigh left the principal's lips as soon as she had seen the two and she slowly shook her head.

'What are you two even doing here?',Aphmau asked, even though she was relieved to have her sister here.

'I figured this would happen'

A look of shock formed on the gym teachers face as he looked towards her and then, he looked back towards Rosemary and Ein.

'What do you mean!? These two just busted through the window!',He exclaimed,'Do you not see that? How are you not shooken up?'

'Have you met the werewolf students?',The principal asked, causing Rosemary to look towards her with a raised eyebrow,'Breaking windows is a thing for them, we've already had, like, forty incidents of window breaking'

Shocked at the number, the gym teachers lips parted and he blinked slowly.

'Then why are they here?'

'I'm sorry, I went to meet you and our beta at your class, but she had told me that you had gotten called into the principals office when we ran into each other..',Ein explained and rubbed his shoulder, still feeling the pain from the impact,'..Literally. We just wanted to make sure everything was okay'

'So you two broke a window!?'

With a small smile on her face, Rosemary turned towards the broken window and examined their work.

It was a pretty good window break.

'I really should've had the werewolf teachers supervise the door'

Raising an eyebrow once more, Rosemary placed her hand on her hip and shifted her weight onto one foot.

She really didn't think that would stop her from getting to her sister, did she?

'You see Arnold, Aphmau here is the female alpha of the werewolves',The principal explained,'When they hear she's in trouble, they're all going to swarm my office wondering what's going on. And since Rosemary; their beta female, is here, they're all going to know something is wrong'

'Ohh, I see',Arnold stated and glanced towards the three students for a moment,'So, what do we do?'

'Well.. we can suspend her until further notice'

Eyes narrowing in anger, Rosemary stepped forward and her eyes darkened as she glared at the principal.

Probably not the best decision on her part to be honest, but the young girl was too angry to think logically.

"What!?",She snapped, causing both teachers to look at her and Ein stepped back, his ears pulling back flat against his head and Aphmau turned to look at her sister with wide eyes,"You can't suspend her without any proof that she had done anything wrong, you're lucky that all of the werewolves aren't here already. What do you think the school board would say if they found out that you, the principal, had suspended a student with no proof they had done anything wrong whatsoever?"

The principal stared at the girl for a long moment, amber eyes looking between red as she thought over the werewolves words and Rosemary only stared back, silence filling the office.

'Ms. Shalashaka, we know that your sister was involved with the Shadow Knights in the previous year and now that there are tags all over the school, we are questioning if she has any involvement'

Scoffing out a laugh at the poor excuse, Rosemary slowly shook her head and stared at the principal.

"And I used to be friends with the leader of the shadow knights and I'm still friends with one of the members",Rosemary shot back and rose an eyebrow with a genuine, questioning look on her face,"Are you going to suspend me without any proof too?"

The woman's amber eyes stared into the young beta's glowing and mesmerizing crimson eyes as they seemed to burn her skin with a blazing course of question and challenge.

But she wasn't fazed by the young werewolf's stare.

Eyes widening in shock, Ein stepped forward and shook his head, looking between both of the teachers.

If the werewolves found out that both the alpha and beta female had been suspended, there would for sure be chaos.

'Please don't do that!',The boy exclaimed,'Rosemary and I are the only werewolves who know that she's in trouble. We only came here because we wanted to help'

'How do you know she's in trouble?'

Turning his eyes towards the principal, Ein looked at her with an incredulous look; as if he couldn't believe what she was saying and gestured towards the piercings in his ears.

'Cause I was in trouble for nothing as well at the beginning of the school year, remember? When my piercings were taken'

Seeing that he wasn't wrong, the principal pursed her lips together and let out a small sigh through her nose as she looked between the three students.

'Are you certain that you two are the only werewolves who know about this?',She questioned and looked towards Ein, wanting to make sure.

Eyes of steel looked down at Rosemary and she looked up at the taller boy, slowly nodding her head to let her know that she hadn't told any of the other werewolves about this and once she had seen Ein nod back, she knew he didn't tell anyone either.

'I'm very positive',The dark haired boy stated and his steely eyes gleamed with certainty as he nodded.

'Fine, you're right. She's in trouble for the incident in the cafeteria'

Rolling her eyes, Rosemary let out a groan of annoyance and her right ear twitched as she heard Ein turn to her sister, asking her if she had truly done that.

Spinning around quickly, the vermilion eyed girl watched as he looked her way and Rosemary shook her head in annoyance.

"No she didn't. The principal here is suspending her because, my sister used to be "involved" with them when we were freshman and she doesn't even have any proof she had anything to do with this",Rosemary stated and watched as Ein turned towards her with a confused look on his face.

'Well, we can't find the other shadow knights and—'

Narrowing her eyes, Rosemary clenched her jaw and stared at the wall for a moment with a strange look shining in her eyes.

'Give us a day!',Ein exclaimed, causing everyone; except for Rosemary to look his way,'We can find them and whoever did this!'

'No offense dude, but there's no way you can prove your little girlfriend here is innocent'

As soon as that word had come out of the teachers mouth, the air had went tense as blushes formed on Ein and Aphmau's faces; while Rosemary only scrunched up her face, letting out a noise of disgust.

'Girlfriend!?',Aphmau stuttered out,'I-'

'Look, Rosemary and I are werewolves, we both have an excellent sense of smell and her's is even better than my own',Ein explained,'We can both help her find whoever's responsible by the end of the school day'

With her jaw clenched, Rosemary slowly looked down at the ground and walked out the door once they had let them go.

If the three split up, then they'd have an even better chance to find them and even though Rosemary wanted to stick with her sister, she knew that if Ein was alone then some of the werewolves would definitely mess with him so she decided that it would be best if he had stuck with Aphmau.

As they headed their separate way, Rosemary clenched her fists together tightly and stormed down the hall, her walk seemingly powerful as a dark look filled her crimson eyes of magma.

She knew exactly where the two Shadow Knights would be hiding out and she was going to get some answers.
