Running as fast as her feet could carry her, Rosemary didn't want to go home right away and instead, went to the one place she knew no one would find her.

The one place she always went to whenever she was upset.

The tree where the shadow knights would always hang out under.

Finally, she had made it and feeling as her legs began to shake, Rosemary let herself give in and she fell to her knees, leaning forward as loud sobs left her lips.

Stifling her cries as her phone began to vibrate in her pocket, Rosemary slowly took it out and seeing the name there, she took in a shaky breath.

Aaron.

Quickly pressing the accept button, Rosemary knew that her alpha would help her and she knew that her brother would make her feel better.

'Rose, hey!'

Hearing Aaron's voice, Rosemary's lip quivered and a small sob escaped her lips.

"Aaron.."

Hearing that she was crying, Aaron quickly sat up and his eyes were wide, completely full of worry.

'Rosemary, what happened?',Aaron questioned,'Why are you crying?'

Hearing the small sobs that echoed through the speaker caused Aaron's heart to break and he swore that whoever made her feel this way had another thing coming.

"Aphmau, she.. she took the omega's side and abandoned me.. she told me that she didn't need me anymore"

Hearing this caused Aaron to pause and his eyes widened as he fixed his phone, making sure that it was by his ear.

'Okay.. explain to me what had happened, Rose..'

Explaining everything, Rosemary heard as the line had gone silent and for a moment, she had feared that he had hung up.

'I see.. where are you?',Aaron questioned,'I'm coming there right now'

Feeling her eyes widen, Rosemary shook her head and even though she knew he couldn't see her, she did it anyway.

"No, Aaron, it's fine",Rosemary sobbed,"You don't have to come here.."

Hearing a sigh coming from the other side of the line, Rosemary sniffled slightly and felt the tears slowly trail down her cheeks.

'Okay.. at least tell me where you are, so that I know you're safe..',Aaron requested,'Please Rosemary..'

After telling him that she was at the park, Rosemary hung up the phone and looked down at the ground.

She allowed the tears to flow down her face and she finally allowed herself to feel her sadness; besides, no one would see her cry so she figured that it was alright.

But she was wrong.

She didn't know that right after she had hung up on Aaron, he had called a certain someone and they were on the way now.

Hearing only her own sobs, Rosemary didn't notice as someone came up behind her and she didn't hear as the grass rustled as someone walked towards her, but what she did notice, was when her arm was grabbed and she was pulled into a chest.

Letting out a feral growl, eyes of vermilion looked up with rage as she pulled away, before slowly softening at the sight of a familiar face and Rosemary tried to force her tears to stop so that they couldn't see that she was crying, she didn't want the person to think she was weak.

But she couldn't stop.

Eyes softening at the sight of her tears, Daniel's eyes widened and he quickly placed his hand behind her head, pulling Rosemary into his chest, hugging her close to him.

'It's okay, Rose. Let it all out'

Hearing him speak up, Rosemary's bottom lip quivered and she tried to force herself to stop, but hearing his next words caused her to rethink that thought.

'..I'm here for you'

Suddenly, the wall holding back all of her tears bursted open and loud sobs left her lips, filling the air causing Daniel's lip to quiver, his own eyes filling with tears.

He hated seeing her like this.

He was glad that she was allowing him to be here, holding her, but he hated the way her sobs filled his ears and her tears stained his shirt.

He hated the way she was feeling and he hated that he couldn't do anything about it.

He hated that the omega was the reason she was feeling this way.

That their alpha was the reason she was feeling this way.

He was thankful to Aaron.

As he was looking around for Rosemary, trying to follow her scent, Aaron had called him and told him that he knew where Rosemary was, telling him exactly where to go.

Feeling as something soft pressed against the crown of her head, vermilion eyes widened in shock and she began to feel something within her.

Did he just..?

Her heart pounded even harder.

Nothing but darkness could be seen and feeling warmth, Rosemary snuggled closer to it.

Feeling something snuggling closer to his chest, Daniel slowly looked down and his eyes softened at the sight.

Dark chocolate locks gently framed soft, warm ivory skin and a gentle look painted her sleeping face as her soft eyelashes gently tickled her cheeks as they fluttered for a moment, before settling down.

Everyone knew where the alpha and beta lived because of their party last year, and so, Daniel was slowly making his way there.

He didn't want to walk too quick because, he could possibly wake up Rosemary.

As he made the way to her house, Daniel had seen two people standing outside and they had looked his way.

Seeing, who he assumed was, Rosemary's mother quickly making her way towards them, caused Daniel to give her a reassuring smile as soon as she stood in front of him and looked down at her daughter in worry.

'She's alright',Daniel reassured her and glanced down at Rosemary for a moment,'She's just sleeping. I had found her at the park and she had pretty much fallen asleep by the time I got her to agree to come back home'

With a look of relief, Sylvanna felt her heart slow down from it's relentless pounding and she looked towards the boy, a grateful look on her face.

She didn't know who he was, but she was grateful to him for bringing her daughter back home.

Gently taking her daughter from the werewolf's arms, Sylvanna smiled gently at her sleeping face and looked back towards the boy, her eyes soft with gratefulness.

'Thank you for bringing my Mi Hija home safely-, umm...',Sylvanna trailed off, looking for his name.

Seeing that she was looking for his name, Daniel perked up and gave the woman a gentle smile.

'Daniel'

With a soft smile, Sylvanna held her baby closer to her body and gave the boy a grateful nod.

'Then, thank you, Daniel',Sylvanna said,'For bringing my Mi Hija home safe'

Giving Rosemary's mother a soft nod and a gentle smile, Daniel watched as she turned around and brought her into their house, before the door closed, taking her from his view completely.

As he began to walk away, Daniel began to wonder if she was truly okay and those thoughts plagued his mind, until he himself, had made it home.

The next morning, Rosemary walked by her sister's room and slowly came to a stop when seeing that her door was wide open.

She was sitting at her laptop and it was clear that she had been up all night.

Even though she was furious with her sister for the things she had said last night, she still wanted to make sure that she was alright and slowly walked into her room, the door creaking as it opened.

Hearing her door, Aphmau slowly turned around and seeing her sister, she perked up and gently smiled her way.

But seeing the look on her face, caused that smile to slowly disappear.

'Hey.. umm... I- I wanted to say that I'm so sorry, Rose',Aphmau apologized and her eyes softened with sadness,'I didn't mean any of those things I said last night and right after I said them, I wanted to take them back but you ran off and I couldn't apologize..'

Keeping her gaze on her sister, Rosemary kept her face blank and watched as her sister slowly turned her gaze towards the ground, before slowly looking back up at her, her gaze full of sorrow and apology.

'I'm so sorry for those things I said last night, Rose',Aphmau apologized,'I know that you were just trying to protect me and if I could take them back, then I would'

Staring her sister down for a moment, Rosemary slowly closed her eyes and let out a small sigh, before looking towards her twin, giving her a small smile.

Even though most people would continue to be mad, Rosemary could never stay angry with her twin for very long and would always forgive her.

"It's okay, Aph",Rosemary reassured her and tried to make her smile,"It's already been forgotten"

But it hadn't.

Hearing her words, a bright smile slowly spread across Aphmau's face and she quickly stood up from her chair, sprinting towards her twin before wrapping her arms around her in a tight hug.

She was grateful that she wasn't mad.

She didn't mean anything she had said last night and she wished that she could go back in time, then stop herself but she couldn't.

Seeing the dark bags underneath her eyes, Rosemary's eyes widened and her eyebrows furrowed in concern.

"What happened to you!?",Rosemary exclaimed.

With a small groan, Aphmau slowly rubbed her eyes and gave her twin a tired smile.

'I've been up all night',Aphmau explained,'I've been busy doing research on the internet'

Hearing this, Rosemary pursed her lips and rose an eyebrow.

She did realize that..

A loud and aggravated sigh left the plushie on Aphmau's bed and Rosemary slowly turned towards it, her eyes wide.

It was definitely Aphmau making it talk.. right?

'Well, at least by now you must have found out everything about werewolf culture',The stuffed wolf said.

With wide eyes, Aphmau turned towards the plushie and let out a nervous laugh, before slowly turning towards her laptop.

'What's that look for!? And if you didn't find anything, you do realize that you have a sister.. who's a werewolf!!'

As she went to talk back to the plushie, Aphmau turned around and her mouth gapped open, about to respond, but she froze finally registering the plushies words.

Slowly, she turned towards Rosemary and looked up at her ears, before slowly bringing her gaze down towards her tail.

She has a werewolf sister.

She has. A. Werewolf sister

SHE HAS A WEREWOLF SISTER!

Aphmau mentally slapped herself in the head and with wide eyes, looked towards Rosemary as she pleaded with her to help her out.

With a small chuckle, Rosemary sat down on her sisters bed and began to explain some things.

This was definitely going to take a while.

Hearing their mother calling for them, Rosemary's little lesson came to a halt and they hurried downstairs.

Seeing that their mother had prepared breakfast tacos and looking up, Sylvanna smiled at her daughters.

'Katelyn and Kasey are waiting outside for you two',Sylvanna told them.

Walking towards her, Aphmau and Rosemary gave their mother a quick kiss on her cheeks.

'Gotcha!',Aphmau exclaimed,'Heading to school, mom! See ya!'

Grabbing their backpacks, Rosemary and Aphmau walked towards the doors, but before they could get any further, their mother called out to them.

'Aahh, Mi Hija! You look so tired',She exclaimed, causing Aphmau to stop and turn towards her,'What happened?'

With a small wince, Aphmau looked to the side and bit down on her bottom lip.

She began to stutter out a response, but their mother spoke up and interrupted her.

'Were you up all night playing that game AGAIN?',Sylvanna exclaimed.

Deciding to speak up and save her sister from trouble, Rosemary quickly butt in and saved Aphmau from most likely getting the chancla.

"Actually mom, I was teaching Aphmau more about werewolf culture so that she can... uhhh—..",Rosemary explained,"-understand me and the werewolves better!"

With a nod of understanding, Sylvanna picked up a cup and placed it in front of Aphmau.

'Here, drink this'

Sniffing the air as she slowly leaned towards the counter, Rosemary watched as Aphmau picked up the cup and looked inside of it, wondering what it was.

'What's this?',Aphmau questioned.

It smelled of a sweet, caramel and fruit/floral-like aroma.

'It's coffee',Sylvanna explained to her daughter,'Here, just drink it'

Confused as to why her mother wanted her to drink it, Aphmau furrowed her eyebrows together.

'Why?',She questioned.

What would coffee do for her?

It's not like it would help her stay awake.

'It will help you get through your day',Sylvanna explained,'Trust me'

Picking up the cup of coffee, Aphmau slowly raised it to her lips and took cautious; but large, gulps.

Pulling the cup away from her lips as quick as she could, a groan of disgust left Aphmau's lips and she shook her head, sticking out her tongue as her face scrunched up.

A loud laugh left Sylvanna's lips and she watched as Rosemary slowly took the cup from her twins hands, taking a cautious sniff.

Reeling back as quickly as she could, Rosemary placed the cup down and turned her head to the side, a small sneeze leaving her.

'It's an acquired taste',Sylvanna said.

Still blowing a raspberry, as if to get rid of the bitter taste in her mouth, Aphmau frowned at their mother and wiped her mouth.

'Yeah, I can tell!',She exclaimed,'Anyway, now that my mom has successfully poisoned me, we'll be off to school; where I hope that my death will be quick and painless'

As she dramatically walked away, a small chuckle left Rosemary's lips and she swung her backpack over her shoulder, following after her sister.

'Oh Mi Hija, it wasn't that bad',Sylvanna stated, a small smile on her face as she watched her daughter's dramatic act.

With a dramatic cry, Aphmau held a hand to her forehead and bid their mother farewell.

'Goodbye, mother! I'm dead'

Lightly rolling her eyes with a soft smile, Rosemary grabbed Aphmau's wrist and dragged her along with her through the door.

"Alright, come on, Shakespeare"

Walking out the door, Rosemary and Aphmau met up with Kasey and Katelyn; who smiled brightly when they had seen them.

As they were walking, Katelyn asked Aphmau why she was so tired and she had simply responded that it was because she was up late studying for a test.

'So, how did that date with that werewolf boy go?',Katelyn questioned.

Immediately coming to a stop, Rosemary's whole body tensed up and her fur bristled as her eyes glistened with rage, her lips twitching up.

Hearing the low growls that left his friends lips, Kasey turned towards Rosemary and worriedly placed his hand on her shoulder.

'Date!?'

'Date!!?'

"DATE!?!?"

With a confused look on her face, Katelyn looked between the three and furrowed her eyebrows together.

'Well, according to the kids at school',Katelyn stated,'That was, like, all the talk apparently on Friday'

But looking towards Rosemary, the bluenette noticed how tense she was and she wondered what was wrong, but mostly wondering what had happened.

Sure, Rosemary usually got tense whenever it came to a boy, a date and Aphmau being in the same sentence but this time, it was different.

And she was wondering why.

'W-W-Where did you hear that!?',Aphmau exclaimed.

Shrugging slightly, Katelyn tried to remember who and she didn't exactly know their names.

'I heard it from some kids in the hall'

Explaining what she had overheard, Katelyn carefully watched their expressions and watched as Rosemary's eyes changed from her usual vermilion red to an electric blue, but it had disappeared as soon as it had come.

'Why were you eavesdropping on them!?',Aphmau exclaimed.

Strange.

She must've just imagined it.

'They were talking so loud, how could anyone not?',Katelyn questioned,'Either way, I'm not getting involved in werewolf matters. I hear they're very complicated'

Turning towards Rosemary, Katelyn winced slightly and nodded towards her.

'No offense'

Shaking her head, Rosemary reassured her friend that it was quite alright and that she even agreed with her.

Her kind could be very confusing at times; even for her and she was born a werewolf.

With his eyes as wide as saucers, Kasey had small drops of sweat rolling down his face and a look of horror in his eyes.

'Is it true?!',He questioned,'Are you dating someone!'

'No!',Aphmau quickly disagreed,'We were just hanging out!'

Letting out a small sigh of relief, a blush of embarrassment painted Kasey's cheeks and he slowly glanced towards the ground.

'Oh..',He said,'Uhh, good!'

'Geez, you act more like her brother than mine, Kasey',Katelyn teased.

Letting out a small laugh, eyes of vermilion turned Kasey's way and she sent the younger boy a small smile.

'Also, what's this about you being alpha, Aphmau?',Katelyn questioned,'I understand Rosemary being.. ughh.. the beta and everything. But what's with that? Since when were you a werewolf?'

With a small sigh, Aphmau slowly shook her head and wasn't really in the mood to explain it.

And to be quite honest, Rosemary didn't really want to explain it at the moment either; it was too early for that.

'But, something we should talk about',Katelyn dragged on, an excited tone in her voice,'Kasey, why don't you tell them?'

With a confused looks on their faces, Rosemary and Aphmau turned their eyes towards Kasey, furrowing their eyebrows together.

If anyone saw them at that very moment, then they'd know right away that they were twins.

'Oh right',Kasey said, before turning towards the two with an excited smile,'Aphmau, Rosemary, I made the soccer team!'

Suddenly, excited smiles spread across their lips and shooting forward, Rosemary wrapped her arms around the younger boy and hugged him close.

'You did!? Awesome!',Aphmau exclaimed,'Congrats Kasey!'

"Congrats Kasey"

A small blush spread across Kasey's cheeks and his eyes widened as he looked at Rosemary once she pulled away, a beaming smile on her face.

'Yeah and I owe it to the both of you',Kasey stated, looking between them.

Clearing her throat, Katelyn rose her eyebrows and watched as Kasey turned her way, a small drop of sweat falling down the side of his face.

'And Katelyn too, of course!',Kasey added,'But, she's been getting my praises all weekend'

'I know',Katelyn said,'I just like to be thanked in front of others'

A small giggle left Katelyn lips, causing Rosemary to smile gently and slowly shake her head.

'What about Vylad?',Aphmau questioned.

Wondering if he had made it as well, Rosemary's ears perked up and she looked towards Katelyn once more.

'Oh right, he made the team too',Katelyn said, before letting out a sigh,'Garroth hasn't let me live it down'

Crossing her arms over her chest, a smug smile slowly spread across Rosemary's face and she rose an eyebrow in question.

"Do you want me to get him to stop?",Rosemary asked.

Slowly shaking her head, Katelyn reassured her that it was alright and that she would handle it on her own.

It was just annoying.

'It's friendly competition for now',Katelyn pledged and turned her gaze towards her brother,'Which means that we've gotta keep training you, Kasey'

'I.. umm-.. I mean-',Kasey stammered,'So Katelyn, that witchcraft test you got'

With a confused look on her face, Aphmau looked between the two and Rosemary tilted her head.

Since when did Katelyn take witchcraft.

Unless..

Was Katelyn a witch and she didn't tell her?

Letting out a sigh, Katelyn rolled her eyes and look quite annoyed; as if it wasn't her choice.

'Ugh, yeah',Katelyn groaned,'The school messed up my schedule and now, I'm stuck with it until they can get me a spot in the theatre class'

'Really!?',Aphmau questioned,'Man, the school has been off lately with schedules. Lucinda had a lunch switch, like, two times already'

She wasn't kidding.

Last year, Rosemary remembered that they had put her in the witchcraft class and she had "accidentally" thrown one of the warlock students out of the class.

Even though he had deserved it, she had gotten a detention.

A weird noise of disgust left Katelyn's lips and her face scrunched up.

'Luncindaaa'

'Are you guys still fighting?',Aphmau questioned.

Letting out a soft sigh, Rosemary slowly shook her head and rolled her eyes.

She loved her friends, but Lucinda and Katelyn fought over the weirdest and stupidest things.

'Yeah, she's my rival',Katelyn stated,'I'm always fighting with her'

Giving the bluenette a deadpanned look, Rosemary stared at the girl and watched as Katelyn slowly turned towards her.

'Rival?',Aphmau questioned.

Turning Aphmau's way, Katelyn nodded her head and shrugged her shoulders.

'Yeah, we go way back',She explained,'Always friendly; of course, but this time, it's different. She's been so into Ivan, it's gross'

Hearing about Lucinda's boyfriend, Rosemary's nose scrunched up and a low growl left her lips.

She still didn't like him, but she'd tolerate him for Lucinda's sake.
