White balls of air hung in the sea of cerulean blue, looking as soft as cotton and the golden ball of flames brightly shone down onto the large school building; Phoenix Drop High.

Walking up the stone steps, a young blue-eyed freshman stared up at the building and tightly gripped the straps of his backpack; anxiously.

Looking around with his cerulean eyes, the freshman looked through the crowd of students and his gaze swept over the school ground; searching for anyone that he could've possibly known, before looking up at the tall and looming building once more.

'Alright, this is it, Kasey',The freshman, Kasey, muttered to himself aloud,'First day of high school. I can do this, I can do this'

Psyching himself up, Kasey kept his eyes on the building and soon, felt the familiar burning sensation of anxiety lingering within his chest.

Slowly walking forward, terror and anxiety won over his actions and Kasey hurriedly spun around; his eyes wide with fear.

'I can't do this!',The bluenette boy freaked out,'There's so many people here, everyone's going to think that I'm a loser! Why do I have to grow up?'

A noise left his lips, that of one mixed of fear and sadness, sweat building at the base of his forehead; a strong gaze of terror within his eyes.

'Maybe... it's not too late to run away',Kasey muttered to himself, not realizing that two students had approached from behind him.

Two sophomore girl's stood there, standing side by side; the two similar in looks, and they stared at the freshman with amusement in their eyes.

One girl had Raven black hair, with beautiful sun kissed skin and sparkling chocolate brown eyes that melted around a black hole of a pupil, her hair reaching down to her waist, a dark purple bow gently tied in the top of her locks.

The other had deep chocolate brown locks that gently spiraled down to her mid-back in a magical wave of soft curls and her eyes... oh her eyes.

They shined mystically in the sunlight, a glistening scarlet red flooding the pool of her iris and mixed with vermillion spreading from around the pool of darkness.

Turning her gaze towards her sister, the werewolf lightly tilted her head to the side and lifted an eyebrow, a humorous look filling her gaze at the glorious sight.

The wolf-like ears that sat atop of her head were a beautiful dark brown with a splash of white at the end and they looked so soft, it were as if she were a stuffed animal, before she grinned at the freshman, her sharp canines glistening as they were revealed.

"I can almost feel your anxiety from where I'm standing. I'm going to assume that you're a freshman"

Shoulders going stiff, the freshman's breath lodged in his throat and his eyes seemed to bludge out of their sockets as his heart hammered against his chest, the nerves in his body electrifying as his body shook.

'Why, yes, I'm a—'

Turning around, the boy stopped mid-sentence as his eyes widened even more and Kasey felt himself step back, his blood rushing through his body like a summer's ocean wave and his cheeks warmed like fresh coal's in a winter's fire.

At the sight of a familiar face, Aphmau brightly smiled and her chocolate brown eyes brightened; sparkling like stars in the night sky had gotten trapped within the tsunami of color, her happiness was clearly presented on her face as she gently swept a raven black curl behind her ear.

'I knew we recognized you!',Aphmau commented, the large smile remaining on her face and her teeth shined like a freshly polished diamond.

Hearing his heart loudly pound within his ears, blood pumped quickly through his system and Kasey's hands began to moisten as they shook from the nerves in his body, feeling like pins were repeatedly stabbing into his skin.

Hastily wiping his hands on his uniform, Kasey tried to get rid of the sweat that coated his palms and shakily smiled at the two, hearing the blood rushing through his ears.

'A-Aphmau, Rose!',Kasey stuttered and his heart raced nervously,'Y-You're both here'

The tingling smell of anxiety wafted into the young werewolf's nose, causing Rosemary to comfortingly grin at the boy and gently tilt her head to the side.

'Wow, look at you in that uniform! You look so grown up',Aphmau commented,'Katelyn must be proud'

Eyes of amber slowly swept across the school grounds and looked through the multitude of students crowding around, in search of a certain bluenette.

"Did she come with you?",Rosemary questioned, her vermillion eyes searching for her friend as she looked in the direction Aphmau was.

Shaking his head, Kasey's light blue hair; filled with dark blue highlights, moved in front of his eyes from the movement.

'No, she came to school earlier',Kasey explained.

A low hum of thought left Aphmau's lips and she looked towards Rosemary; who gently bit her lip in thought, her eyebrows pulled together.

"Then, when she probably came in earlier, I didn't smell her because of all of the students",Rosemary muttered under her breath and one of her ears twitched in annoyance.

Nodding to herself, Aphmau hummed and turned her eyes towards the boy in front of them.

'She's probably setting up club stuff then',Aphmau muttered.

Rosemary nodded in agreement; her tail swaying slowly behind her and the fur of her ears and tail were neatly brushed down.

'It's such a shame though, you'd think that she's want to see her little brother on his first day of high school',Aphmau stated.

Lightly smacking her twin on the arm, Rosemary gave her a fake glare and lightly chuckled at the small exclamation of pain that left Aphmau's lips, watching as she glanced at her with a look of betrayal as she lightly rubbed her arm.

"Oh, stop it",Rosemary stated, before a low yelp left her lips as Aphmau smacked her arm and she playfully scowled,"You know that Katelyn would be here if she could"

As he watched the sisters with a gentle smile on his lips, Kasey lowly chuckled at the light bickering that was happening in front of him.

'That would've been great',Kasey commented and gained their attention, his light eyes watching as two pair of dark eyes turned his way.

As her gaze remained on the boy in front of her, Rosemary slowly lifted up her hand and smacked Aphmau's arm.

Opening her mouth in a silent yell of pain, the brunette gently rubbed her arm and grimaced at the small sting it caused.

'At least then, I would've known somebody',Kasey commented, finishing his sentence.

With her face dropping, a look of betrayal coated Rosemary's expression and Aphmau let out a chuckle, turning towards Kasey.

As she turned his way, the sun gently caught her eyes and the bright rays reflected within them, her amber eyes sparkling with a gentle gleam.

'Well, you do know us',Aphmau said, causing the boy to turn her way and let out a light hum of confusion,'Rosemary and I could show you around if you'd like'

Immediately, Kasey quickly shook his head and his anxious eyes flickered between the two upperclassman.

'I couldn't ask that of you two',Kasey stated,'I don't want to waste your time'

Letting out a small chuckle, Rosemary's left ear twitched atop of her head and she pushed a piece of chocolate brown hair from her face.

"Well you see, it's actually a part of our jobs as mentors",Rosemary commented, a bright and playful gleam in her eyes.

Holding up her wrist, Aphmau smiled brightly and reached down, clasping her hand around Rosemary's wrist; lifting up her hand as well, revealing two identical, bright yellow wristbands.

'See?'

Furrowing his eyebrows, a frown pulled at Kasey's lips and he blinked slowly, trying to make sense of what they were saying.

'What does that mean?',Kasey questioned.

"It means that Aph and I are here to help",Rosemary explained, her lips tugged into a small smile.

Moving her head to the side, Aphmau gestures towards the school.

'Come on, let's go inside',Aphmau said, going to move forward but an anxious voice stopped her.

'B-But-',Kasey went to argue.

Hearing a voice speak up from behind him, Kasey jumped and let out a small gasp of fear, before turning around, magma-like eyes locking onto his.

"The only butt's here, are the one's that are moving",Rosemary stated,"Now, go"

Looking at Rosemary with an exasperated look in her eyes, Aphmau lightly shook her head and sighed lightly.

'Besides',Aphmau cut in, her voice a lot warmer and lighter than her sister's,'We thought that it would be nice to walk around with you'

Ocean blue eyes widened in shock and Kasey's lips parted at her words, his heart pounding against his chest.

"She wants to walk with.. me?",Kasey thought to himself, blood rushing to his cheeks at the thought.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Kasey cleared his throat and stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

'I guess that it would be cool to walk around with you guys',Kasey said,'Plus, I can get to know the place better'

With her face lighting up in glee, a small squeal left Aphmau's lips and Rosemary winced, her ears falling flat against her head at the sound, her tail stopping mid-wag as her fur bristled.

'Awesome!',Aphmau squealed, her hand reaching into her back pocket as she hurriedly pulled out her phone and opened her camera,'Selfie time!'

Ears perking up, red eyes widened and hurriedly snapped towards Kasey; who looked towards Rosemary with the same expression, before their arms were grabbed and they were pulled close together.

A small click echoed through Rosemary's ears as her sister took the picture and she pulled away from the two, glancing over Aphmau's shoulder at the photo.

'Awesome!',Aphmau exclaimed, a bright smile on her lips,'Come on, this way'

Glancing at Rosemary, Kasey watched as her magma-like gaze turned towards him and a small smile twitched at her lips as she gestured for him to follow them as they walked towards the school.

Students bustled inside, other's sitting on the couches of the lounge, their backpacks sitting on the cushions next to them.

Being followed inside by Kasey, the sister's turned towards him and their eyes screamed with anxiety as it exploded throughout their bodies, their fingers set aflame with a tingling sensation.

'S-So this is the front desk',Aphmau stuttered, her eyes anxiously glancing around the room,'Um, obviously if you get lost, they'll help you find things if you can't find a mentor'

Walking towards the lounge, Rosemary turned towards Kasey and Aphmau as they followed her; her tail swaying from behind her.

"This is the lounge over here",Rosemary explained and looked around, trying to figure out what to show Kacey and where to bring him,"And, um..-"

Even though she had been living with humans her whole life, Rosemary still felt anxious whenever she was around a crowd of humans or people she didn't know well enough; but when she was around werewolves, she acted like the feared beta she was known as.

'Are you guys okay?',Kasey questioned, worry clear in his voice and he glanced between the two, worried about his friends.

Clearing her throat, Aphmau smiled through the nervousness and anxiety as she looked at Kasey.

'Y-Yeah, yeah, we're perfectly fine',Aphmau reassured him, before she lightly cleared her throat and glanced towards the ground.

Biting down on her lower lip, Rosemary's ear twitched momentarily before she glanced towards the ground and looked back up at Kasey

'Are you sure?',Kasey questioned once more, a frown on his lips.

"We're alright, Kasey",Rosemary reassured their friend, before clearing her throat and shook her head,"You probably don't care about the front desk. How about you tell us what you want to know and we'll try our best to answer any questions you have"

Pursing his lips together, Kasey squinted his eyes as he thought over what to say.

'Well, uhh, I guess that I'd like to know where lunch is',Kasey told the two, looking in between them and watched as their features lit up.

At the mention of food, Rosemary's ears perked up and Aphmau's eyes brightened at the mention of her favorite period; lunch.

'Perfect!',Aphmau exclaimed and confidence returned in her chocolate gaze,'It's right over here'

Looping her arm through Rosemary's, the twins led the way towards the cafeteria and their raging heartbeats gradually began to slow down, their nerves slowly disappearing, but still bustled around within their bodies.
