So here we are the next chapter of my so called 'amazing' fairy life. If your wondering what happened last I am now in a courtyard full of fairies and whatever else goes to this school. Fairy teens are a bunch of show offs by the way,...

I looked around and saw a redheaded girl as clueless and lost as I was....dad wanted me to make friends here so here's my attempt to try...

"Hi you lost?" I asked just trying to start a conversation

"I am actually do you know your way around here?" She asked "oh yeah I've been here loads of times" I said but then laughed "no I don't, I've actually never been here untill a few months ago I didn't even know this place existed I'm just as lost as you." I said

Her eyes widened up "really where are you from?" She asked curiously

"California. I'm Darcy by the way" I said "noway me too, I'm Bloom-" she said as she was rudely interrupted by a blonde headed boy

"Wow, you guys are so lost."The blonde boy said looking at us both,  "I'm impressed with your guys's confidence, in the face of complete ignorance."

"issue is, you're overcommitted, both of you are" he says

"and now that I'm here you guys can't give me the satisfaction of turning around-" 

"I think we can manage finding our way Blondie" I said

"Yeah we don't need help." Bloom adds and of course the blonde replies back I swear he seems toxic.

  "I didn't remember offering it." 
"So presumptuous, you two must be fairies." 

"We are Fairies." I said and laughed a little realizing how crazy that would have sounded if we were back home.

"Sorry that's just something I thought I never would say." I said 

He chuckled, "It's an odd thing, considering your standing in a courtyard of a collage for fairies?" 

"We don't have allot of those where we're from ."

"And what realm are you guys from ?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." I said sarcastically "California." 

"So your not from the Other-world?"

"If you really want your mind blown , three months ago, we didn't even know the Other-world existed"

"If your lost, which I'm not saying you are and if you need help which I'm not offering, this is the Specialist Hall and Fairy Hall is that way."

"Oh, the Specialist Hall. Obviously." 

"hmm" 

"And we definitely know what a Specialist is"

"Right so I'd be happy to-"

"mansplain it?" Bloom said  said "No,"

"Sure. kinda seems like your thing"

I interrupted "wait I'm sorry is this a guy thing, perving on the first years?" I asked and he chuckled nervous like "I'm not perving or anything if that's what you think-" 

And just like that another voice between the huge crowd around us interrupted "Quit perving on the first years," a boy says walking up to us "I rest my case" I said smiling and he rolled the Sky rolled his  eyes he didn't tell us his name I just got it from reading his mind obviously.

"Riv just give me a sec"Sky said

"Why you gonna chase them?"

"No-"

"Hi Bloom," "Darcy" we walked up to the person who's supposed to show us around

"Sorry we got impatient-"

"How very American of you. Shall we?" She said rudely

"So rude like are you a princess or something cause I know they think they can be all rude or whatever but I don't care what or who you are if you don't have anything nice to say shut it. Oh and keep your loud thoughts to yourself thank you"
I said and huffed

"Your a mind fairy?" She asked

"Maybe-"

Stella rolls her eyes"Miss Dowling tells me this is your first time in the Other-world, I hope your trip was painless."

"Miss Dowling gave us a time and a location where there'd be a gateway."

"It was in the middle of nowhere so it wasn't convenient"

"The headmistress likes to do things by the book, and keeping your world a secret from ours is chapter one,"

"no matter how inconvenient it may be."

Stella holds up her had "but if you ever want to go back .."

"that's a whole lot of ring." Bloom said"Family heirloom Gateway ring."

"The only thing that keeps you sane in this place is the ability to leave it."

"Alfea can't be that bad." I said and was  ignored  they went on with the conversation.

"your world may not always be thrilling but it beats this one. There are seven realms in the Other-world Each a different kind of boring."

Miss Dowling looked at us "Think of Alfea as your new home. I'm sure it must be overwhelming, an entirely new world."

"And yet no less than three people updating their insta stories."Bloom said making me chuckle a bit.

"well it's not like we were half-expecting a school full of Tinkerbells zipping around." I joked a little

"disappointed?"

"Just kinda bummed I didn't see a single pare of wings."

"Hm. Well, we had wings in the past. As we involved transformation magic has been lost."

"Also, Tink was an Air fairy, you two are a fire and a mind fairy."

"yeah that much we know." Bloom and I both said and sat down

"So when do we start?"

"Class begin tomorrow. You'll start with the basics. Learn to use your magic slowly but safely."

"When you say...slowly..."

"I mean It. Magic can be dangerous, as you guys well know."

"Our curriculum is designed with that in mind."

"trust the process."

"the slow process."

"Alfeas graduates have ruled realms and lead armies, they've forged powerful relics ...and rediscovered long lost magic."

"They shape the Other-world. If you two succeed here, you will too."

"Well this place the Other-world, uh,...uh Alfea it seems amazing it.. this isn't my home-" Bloom said

"I agree with Bloom my dad is alone and any longer he might loose it"

"I don't need to rule a realm or lead a army and, I'm are just here because you promised to teach me control. And you probably promised Darcy the same" Bloom says

"Shared space, Terra. Everyone loved The Secret Garden because it was a secret." Stella said and I rolled my eyes.

"l think you got the whole meaning to the message wrong."I said

"She's right, that's not quite the message of The Secret Garden, if anything its a story about how when things are kept private their benefits aren't fully appreciated."

Stella looked at Terra and she left "Ok." then Stella looked at me

"What?" I said and then shrugged as she rolled her eyes.

Stella left so I just followed Terra to meet the other roommate "well she seems lovely"

"yeah sure depends on your definition of lovely and nice"I said

The other girl laughed "hey, I'm Musa."

"Darcy nice to meet you-"

"Wait your a mind fairy"she asked

"Yeah how'd you know?"

"Other mind fairies can sense own their kind plus I can read your mind" Musa said

"Cool nice to actually have something in common with someone" I said

"Hey what am I? Chop liver?"Bloom asked and I laughed

"Other than living in California like Bloom" I said.

Terra walked back in holding a plant,...."Stella's just having fun. I know it's allot, earth fairy called Terra likes plants, shocker. It's a family thing, I got this cousin called Flora and my mum's called Rose, and my dad works in the Greenhouse here. That's why I know a load of second years. I grew up around Alfea so..."

"Stella's a second year, why is she in a suite with first years?" Musa asked

"Oh yeah um...I, dunno, actually, uh really." Terra says but I notice Musa's eye's go purple.

"Also, sorry, I just wouldn't bring it up with her."

"You know,? Um let's all of us just blanket statement, 'who, cares?'."

"And this is my cue to leave bye Musa,, Terra" I said leaving.
