BACKSTORY:

Annabeth Raina Carter was born September 26, 1986. She is the second child of Sara and Matthew Carter. She was born as a replacement of sorts after their firstborn, Crystal, ended up killing a bunch of people.

Rather than be raised by nannies like Crystal, Annabeth spent most of her childhood following her mother around. From the time she was six until she was fourteen, she had private tutors.

In 2000, Annabeth was enrolled in Brackenreid Preparatory Academy. She was top of her class, and, at her mother's urging, a cheerleader. By her sophomore year, she was head of the cheer squad.

Also her sophomore year, Annabeth was in honors English with Romulus Brown, Remus Brown's younger brother. Annabeth told her mother that Crystal's boyfriend's younger brother was her teacher, and wasn't that cool? Well, Sara proceeded to encourage her daughter to romantically pursue Romulus. So Annabeth did.

By December of 2001, Annabeth and Romulus began an affair. Their affair would last until Annabeth graduated.

In 2002, Annabeth got pregnant with Romulus' child. She told him she wanted to have an abortion because she was literally sixteen. Romulus told her that if she got an abortion he'd tell the world she was a whore.

She then went to her mother and asked for an abortion. Sara told her that it was her own fault she got pregnant. She should've kept her legs closed if she didn't want to have a baby. Annabeth then asked if she could drop out to raise the baby. Sara told her absolutely not. The baby would be raised by a nanny until Annabeth graduated.

So, Annabeth kept the baby. On July 23, 2003, she welcomed Lance Remus Carter to the world.

In 2004, Annabeth graduated. After the ceremony, Romulus filed for divorce from his wife at the time, Katie Hines. The next year, Romulus proposed to Annabeth. She excepted and they got married on her nineteenth birthday. Romulus would legally adopt Lance, as Annabeth had put on his birth certificate that she didn't know who the father was.

On May 17, 2006, the couple had their second child, Jonathan Ian Brown. December of that year, Annabeth auditioned for the lead in a horror movie, House of Hathaway. She got the part. This was the beginning of her acting career.

November 30, 2008, Annabeth and Romulus had their third and fourth children, Alexander Sheldon Brown and Marshall Chase Brown. Annabeth took a break from acting for six months after their births. Then in April of 2009, Annabeth and Romulus were cast in another horror movie. Romulus quit his teaching job to pursue acting, piggybacking off his wife's success.

August 12, 2010, Annabeth had their fifth child, Wilma Annabeth Brown. Around this time, Romulus started to get physically abusive towards Annabeth and the children.

In May of 2011, Annabeth was cast as her sister in a documentary about the Brackenreid Prep Prom Murders. During the filming, Sara Carter died of liver failure.

April 3, 2012, Annabeth had her last child, Windy Arabella Brown. After Windy's birth, Romulus' abuse grew worse.

As the abuse grew worse, so did Annabeth's mental state. She got increasingly depressed. Finally, on September 26, 2016, she attempted suicide by slitting her wrists. She was found by Lance, who called an ambulance. Annabeth went to a mental hospital after her wrists healed. There, she would be put on antidepressants.

She was released on January 1, 2017. Shortly afterwards, she was cast as Jane in The Third Sun.

Things continued as usual. Annabeth was still depressed, Romulus was abusive, the kids wanted to leave. Finally, in 2020, Annabeth filed for divorce. The divorce was finalized by March and Annabeth took custody of the kids.

Annabeth currently lives in Oak Ridge, North Carolina, with her children.
