The Rise Of Skywalker

I got up the next morning. Jax and I went out for a walk, discussing more about the stories about my time and training with master Luke Skywalker. Kids came around, sat around me and listened.

"Tell them about you fighting against the first order mama!" Jax smiles.

"Hera!" Rose came running. Maz came along.

"I got them." Maz says as she takes the kids away. "Alright kids, right this way."

"Ill see you soon." I kissed Jax's cheek. Jax smiles at me as he walked with Maz. I smiled back. "Whats up?" I hummed. She pulls me to the side, walking back to base.

"We got an update from the Falcon." Thank god they are okay. After weeks of not hearing from them. "Theres a spy in the first order."

"No way." Who can it be?! Why? "This can lead to something big."

"Tell me about it." Rey runs towards us.

"Is it true? Theres a spy?" She whispers.

"Due to the message Finn and Poe sent us, we believe so." Rose told her. "Imagine that, huh?" We all chuckled. "Hopefully in a few hours, the boys will be back." I miss them so much. Chewie, Finn, Poe, i missed them. I miss my brother, unbelievable right? Haha!

"And the ship in one piece." I joked.

"Leia is waiting for us at the forest for the training course." Rey added in.

"I gotta go, see what else we can find." Rose waves and runs back. Rey and I walked to the forest, meeting up with Leia. We started out calling out the jedi's before us.

"Be with me." Rey whispers. "Be with me." We were floating in mid air. I focused on my thoughts, relaxing. "They're not with me." Rey groans and floats down to the ground. "How can you reach Obi Wan and Yoda?" She asked me. Without me opening my eyes, crossing my legs, i smiled.

"Practice and patience, Rey." I chuckled. Rey went off to do her training course. I stayed, I liked it. It keeps me calm. I can hear the waterfall, birds chirping, and oh no.

"Hera." Kylos voice echoed in my head. I shut my eyes harder. "You cant hide. Not from me." As I heard his voice I fell on my ass on the ground. He didn't sound angry, nor happy. He was calm. Leia and BB8 came to help me up.

"After years, why now? Why come back to me?" I asked Leia as I wiped off the dirt off me.

"Maybe he knows. Maybe he just needs to talk to you." I sighed. He cant know.

"I dont know Leia, i feel something is going on. It feels off." I looked at her. "He made me believe we had something, together."

"You cant keep him away forever." She wasn't wrong. "You think of him, everyday."

"I loved him too early. That day when he was going to take me to the dark side, he lost me. I should hate him, but I don't."

Poe's POV

We finally made it back home. That jump, man, I kinda thought it wasn't going to work, but it did. I walked out of the ship and saw Hera with Jax. Her smile can bright up the galaxy. She deserves him. Jax ran up to me.

"Uncle Poe!" I picked him up.

"Whats up Buddy! Long time no see." I smiled.

"What did you get?" I pulled out a used crystal. Jax was amazed. He loved those jedi crystals. Hes really into the whole jedi stuff now. "I have to go, im going to spend time with grandma." He gave me a hug and jumped off my arms.

"See you later commander." I saluted. As he walked away he gave Hera a kiss on the cheek. The ship was on fire, as I turned back.

"No way!" Hera yells as she ran to my arms. I hugged her.

"The whole thing is on fire! Its on fire."

"Is there really a spy?" She asked me as we pulled apart.

"We could've used your help out there." I smiled at her.

"How did it go? Are you okay? Finn? Chewie?" She looked around, she saw Chewie.

"Really bad actually." I said as I put my hands on my hips. She kept looking at the ship.

"What happened to the ship!" I looked down at BB8. Oh my god BB8! What happened to you! Who did this to you!?

"What happened to BB8!"

"What did you do to the falcon!" Here we go.

"What did you do to the droid!" Hera's eyes popped out. I gave her a look.

"At least he isn't on fire!"

"Whats left of him isn't!"

"Tell me what happened!" We started to argue.

"You tell me first!"

"Hey, BB8 is mine!"

"Hes ours!"

"I paid for him! I used almost all my credits to get him! You just came along!" She kinda caught me there. Finn came in with Rey. I dropped to my knees, oh BB8. I smacked my hands on my face. I stood up. "You know what you are?" I shook my head. "Annoying and difficult."

"Oh me! Oh! You are bratty! You are-"

"Okay! Okay!" Finn comes in, pulls us apart. "Hello Hera, its nice to see you again." Two can play that game Hera Dameron, and I will win.

"Finn!" She hugs him. "Was he grumpy before you came or?"

"Isnt he always grumpy?"

"I can hear you!" I mumble at them.

Hera's POV

Of course you did. I rolled my heels to turn to Poe. The four of us gathered up.

"Okay, do we-" Chewie yelled out saying that this why we shouldn't light speed skipped. My mouth dropped. How many times do I have to tell this man not to do it! "You light speed skipped?"

"Yeah, well, it did get us back here."

"How! The Compressors down?"

"Oh i know! I was there!" Here we go.

"You cant light speed skip the falcon!"

"Actually I found out you can!"

"Guys!" Finn and Rey said as we got into another argument. We ignored them, walking together, sharing words.

"What happened Poe?" I sternly said with a frown.

"Bad news, thats what happened." He continued to walk away from me.

"So no spy?"

"No, spy." So its true.

"So did we make contact with the spy or not?" Rey jumped in.

"Theres a mole in the first order that sent us the message." We all stopped walking, looking at each other. BB8 started to tell Poe why he's missing parts.

"Jax stole his parts?" I didnt know what to say.

"You blew both-"

"Then you should've been there!"

"Guys!" Finn yelled as we ignored him again.

"You know I want to but I cant!"

"But you're not! You're here, training for nothing! Jax can be taken care by Leia, you don't have to stay every moment with him!" I stood there, shocked. "You're the best fighter we have left, we need you, i need you, out there, not here." Poe shook his head as he walked away.

"You know he didn't mean it." Finn said as he puts his hand on my shoulder. "He just doesn't understand, but it's true, we need you both." He looked Rey and I.

"Whats the message?"
