~ 3rd Person POV ~

Jungkook's parents were suspicious, their son was going out a lot more and they saw that he was hanging out with the boy next door

" What are you doing hanging out with that boy next door," Jungkook's mom said looking at him

Jungkook looked at his parents then looked at his hands

" Did doesn't matter if Jungkook talks to that boy. It's not like that big will want to be Jungkook's friend. He probably just follows him around like a lost puppy because he has no one else to talk to " Jungkook's said laughing and Jungkook looked down in embarrassment

Was Taehyung only hanging out with him because he pities  him

No...Taehyung doesn't look like that type of person

Should he ask Taehyung if the only reason why he hangs out with him is that he doesn't want to make him feel left out or lonely

Jungkook ignored his parent's laughter and walked upstairs. He grabbed his whiteboard and marker and put them in his backpack, while also grabbing his phone

He walked downstairs and out the door. He sighed and walked down the street. He walked down the dim street by himself. He kept walking until he reached a park

He smiled and sat down on the bench. He sighed and played with the tips of his fingers. What his Parents said at the house got into his head

What Taehyung only being friends with him because he felt bad for him? Taehyung never seemed like the type of person to do that. He seemed like a genuine person...

Maybe...maybe his parents were right? Maybe Taehyung did petty him. Maybe he should ask him when they go to school tomorrow

Jungkook was extremely deep in his thighs until he felt a hand on his shoulder. Jungkook let out a scream and quickly turned around

" Hey hey, calm down Kook. It's just me " Taehyung said smiling and Jungkook gave him a small smile and sat back down on the bench

" What are you doing here? It's getting dark out here " Taehyung asked Jungkook. Jungkooo smiled slightly and started to write on his whiteboard

"I come here when I need to think"

" Same, I just need to go for a walk so that why I came here. I remember always coming to this park when I was little " Taehyung said and Jungkook was contradicting if he should tell him how he felt

" Is something wrong? You look like you want to tell me something " Taehyung said looking at him and Jungkook pulled himself together

" Do you petty me?" Jungkook wrote and Taehyung looked at him confused

" what do you mean do I petty you?" Taehyung said looking at him and Jungkook started to write again

"I mean, do you only hang out with me being you petty me"

" Of course not Jungkook, I hang out with you because you are fun the best around. You not talking doesn't make you any less interesting than if you were to talk to me. What makes you say that?" Taehyung said

" Because I'm a weirdo and I never talk "

" Like I just said Jungkook, you not talking doesn't affect the way I view you. Of course, I want you to talk to me and I want to be able to hear your voice but I'm willing to wait until you're comfortable to talk to me " Taehyung said and Jungkook looked down

" Really?" Jungkook wrote and Taehyung nodded his head while smiling

" Oh wow... thank you for not judging me I appreciate it "

" We've been friends for a while now...what made you think all of that all of a sudden "

" My parents...."

" What about them? Did they make you feel like I was only hanging out with you was because I thought you were an outcast " Taehyung said

" They aren't used to me having friends, I'm a mute so I don't talk much so they were surprised, " Jungkook wrote and Taehyung frowned at him

" Well, they are idiots because we are friends because I love hanging out with you! I love it that we are friends " Taehyung said and Jungkook looked up at him with a smile on his face

" Am I different from your other friends?" Jungkook wrote and Taehyung nodded his head

" You're different from the other people I've hung out with because I'm mostly the one talking and they just join in and try to like what I like, " Taehyung said

" You don't talk to so you don't try and force yourself to like what I like and I appreciate it a lot. You are yourself around me and that's all I've ever wanted in a friend...." Taehyung said looking at Jungkook and the smaller boy blushed and looked down

" Look at me Kook," Taehyung said and Jungkook shyly looked up at Taehyung. He couldn't help but blush hard when he would look at Taehyung

" Thank you for being my friend...I appreciate it Kookie" Taehyung said smiling and immediately hugging Jungkook's tightly

Jungkook smiled and hugged Taehyung back. Jungkook slowly laid his head down into his neck, Taehyung didn't have a problem with it

" Thank you Koo"
