After Pepper got the chip into the computer, she began to look to find what Tony was talking about. "What are you up to, Obidiah?" Pepper asked mainly to herself.

She waited a couple seconds before files began to appear on the screen as she clicked on a random video. "You did not tell us that the target you paid us to kill was the great Tony Stark." The voice over said in the video as Pepper's jaw dropped. ".... your deception and lies will cost you dearly. The price to kill Tony Stark had just gone up." The voice over continued to say as Obidiah came into the room and Pepper covers the hard drive with a newspaper that was next to the computer.

"So, what are we going to do about this? I know what you're going through Pepper. Tony. He always gets the good stuff, doesn't he? I was so happy when he came home. It was like we got him back from the dead. Now, I realize, well, Tony never did come home, did he? He left part of himself in that cave. Breaks my heart." Obidiah says as Pepper swiftly takes the hard drive out of the computer.

"Well, he's a complicated person." Pepper states as it's true. He is a complicated person.

"He's been through a lot. I think he'll be alright. Youa re a very rare woman. Tony doesn't know how lucky he is. Because he didn't know he had that child, until he almost died." Obidiah says as Pepper squints her eyes at him not wanting to be suspicious. 

Technically she is since she's in Tony's office, was on the computer searching for evidence, and hid a hard drive under a piece of newspaper.

"Thank you. Thanks. I'd better get back there." Pepper says as she walked towards the door.

"Is that today's paper?" Obidiah says as he leaned forward to grab the paper.

"Yes." Pepper answers as she smirked a little.

"Do you mind?" He asked grabbing the newspaper and flipping it to where the puzzles are which is on the back.

"Not at all." Pepper says as Obidiah shows Pepper the puzzle.

"Puzzle." He says smirking a little.

"Of course." Pepper says to him as she walked out of the room and speed walked downstairs to the front door where she saw Phil and Peyton Coulson. "I'm going to give you the meeting of your life. Your office." She says to the two Coulson's.

Mira was in her room, and she walked out of her room and walked towards the balcony as she heard Obidiah talking to her father as he was sitting on the couch, well more like slouching on the couch. Mira got a good look on her dad as he was pale, and not in a good way.

"Breathe. Easy, easy. You remember this one, right? It's a shame the government didn't approve it. There are so many applications for causing short-term paralysis. When I ordered the hit on you, I worried that I was killing the golden goose. But you see it was just fate that you survived that." Obidiah says as Mira was thought if she should interfere, but if she did, she could possibly be next, as she isn't going to go down without a fight. She tapped her bracelet, and she hid behind something and continued to listen.

"You had one last golden egg to give. Do you really think that just because you have an idea, it belongs to you? Your father helped give us the atomic bomb. Now, what kind of world would it be today if he was as selfish as you? Oh, this is beautiful." Obidiah says as he took the arc reactor out of Tony's chest as Mira's jaw dropped.

"Tony this is your Ninth Symphony. What a masterpiece, look at that. This is your legacy. A new generation of weapons with this at its heart. Weapons that will help steer the world back on course, put the balance of power in our hands. The right hands. I wish you could've seen my prototype. It's not as.... Well, not as conservative as yours. Too bad you had to involve Pepper in this. I would have preferred that she lived." Obidiah says as he then left Tony to die on the couch before walking out the door to who knows where.

Mira jumps off the balcony handing on her feet as she runs towards Tony. "Hey, it's okay. I'm here. Let's get you downstairs." Mira says as she managed to slowly get her dad to the playground.

Mira quickly looks around for the arc reactor as then grabbed it and smashed it on the floor and it shattered, and she put the arc reactor back into Tony's chest.

"Tony? Tony? Tony? Tony? Tony! Tony! Tony! You're okay?" Rhodes frantically says as he helped Mira and Tony back to their feet.

"Where's Pep?" Mira asked Rhodes.

"She's fine. She's with six agents. They're about to meet Obidiah" Rhodes says. "What happened?"

"Long story short Obidiah tried to kill my father as he took the reactor out of his chest." Mira says as Rhodes nods his head at the girl.

"It's not going to be enough to get Obidiah." Tony mutters.

"Well, what do you two have planned?" Rhodes asked as Tony was walking towards his suit.

"You need me to do anything else?" Rhodes asked the Starks.

"Hug me."

"Keep the skies clear." Tony says as Rhodes quickly hugged Mira.

"Mira, make sure your father comes back in one piece!"

"No, promises but thanks anyway."

.....

"V, connect to Dad please." Mira says to her AI, as now she just needs to figure out how to connect VERONICA to her bedroom, and then she'll be all set.

"Connecting to Tony." VERONICA says as Tony and JARVIS were deep in conversation.

"How do you think the Mark One chest piece is going to hold up?" Tony asked JARVIS as Mira was trailing next to her dad.

"The suits at 48% power and falling sir. That chest piece was never designed for suitable fight." JARVIS replies to Tony.

"Keep us posted, J." Mira says to JARVIS.

"Yes, Miss." JARVIS SAYS.

"Thanks for saving me, kiddo. I probably would have died without you."

"Your payment is hugs and Disneyland." Mira says as Tony groans.

"Fine." After he said that he called Pepper.

"Tony! Tony are you okay?" Pepper asked frantically to Tony.

"I'm fine. How are..." Tony says before he got interrupted by Pepper.

"Obidiah, he's gone insane!" Pepper exclaims into the phone.

"We know. Listen you'd better get out of there." Tony says.

"GET OUT OF THERE RIGHT NOW!" Tony screamed to Pepper as he hung up.

"Where do you think you're going?" Stane says on the other end of Pepper's phone. "Your services are no longer required."

"Stane!" Tony yells as the two Starks approach Stane, as Tony flew away with Obidiah and he stopped in front of a car and lifted said car up, which had screaming people inside of it.

"Put them down!" Both Mira and Tony yell to Obidiah.

"Collateral damage, Tony." Obidiah says as Mira doesn't know what that means.

"Divert power to chest RT." Tony says as his chest blasted Obidiah away.

"Power reduced to 19%." JARVIS says.

Moments later, JARVIS SAYS: "Sir, it appears that his suit can fly." JARVIS says to Tony.

"Really, I didn't fucking notice." Mira snapped at JARVIS, as Tony snickered at his daughter's comment.

"Duly noted. Take us to maximum altitude." Tony says as both their suits went higher.

"With 15% power, the odds of reaching that--" JARVIS says but both Mira and Tony interrupted him.

"I/he knows the damn math." Mira and Tony yell at JARVIS.

Sometimes he is stupid.

"Thirteen percent power sir." JARVIS warns.

"Climb!" Tony exclaims to JARVIS.

"Seven percent power." JARVIS says.

"Just leave it on the screen!" Tony snapped at JARVIS.

"Stop telling him!" Mira snapped at JARVIS.

"You had a great idea, Tony. But my suit is more advanced in every way." Obidiah says as Mira rolls her eyes.

"Hey, douche bag. How'd you solve the icing problem?" Mira asked as she moved higher so this time she wouldn't get hit, as Obidiah starts icing up.

"What icing problem?" Obidiah asked as he started falling because of the ice build up in his suit.

"Might want to look in it." Tony says.

"Toodles, douchie." Mira says.

"Two percent. We are now running on emergency backup power." JARVIS says.

"Pepper!" Tony exclaims.

"Tony! Oh my god, are you okay?" Pepper asked.

"I'm almost out of power. I've got to get out of this thing. I'll be right there." Tony says.
