Namjoon looked at it and then looked at Ace before saying in a serious tone, "Damn, you're getting old, man."

My eyes burned with fury. A lump stuck on my throat, my voice couldn't reach out.

Another blood curdling scream reached my ears. I watched. I watched  her petite body getting tortured, helpless and weak.

I pulled against the chains binding me, stopping me from going forwards. My head pounded every time she cried out. Veins popped out from beneath my arms.

I thought I was already strong enough. But no, I was wrong. I still couldn't protect her.

My eyes pained, watching her body squirm in pain. With each hit landing on my stomach, she screamed.

She was too innocent for this. And it's my fault. It's my fault for being too weak. It's my fault for being heartless towards her. If only I had talked to her once, she would have left. She would have escaped this place.

Another hit. Another scream. My eyes glared burning holes into the head of the person hitting her. Promising myself that once I was free, I would make sure to let him experience what torture actually feels like. Till he bleed his eyes out, till he begs for death.

The transparent glass barrier blocked my voice from reaching her.

A low creak sounded, making me look right at the opening door. And he stepped in. "I'll kill you!", my voice dangerously low, I meant every single word.

A low chuckle was the reply to my promise, he came in front of me. "You need to do a lot better than this to be able to do that Kiril.", his smirk annoyed me.

I could hear the screams disappearing. I quickly looked behind him to see her getting untied, she was finally getting freed. For now.

My eyes came back to him. "Do you think you would be standing right now if not for her?", I growled.

"That's why she's such a precious chess piece for me.", he chuckled. "What's more, you even found me another one to replace her if needed.", he smirked.

"Listen to me very well vladdin, you touch her, and you die. I promise you that.", the assurety in my voice made his eye tremble slightly.

He scoffed, "I heard you got her quite an annoying guard dog? I didn't know the romano family was full of guard dogs.", he rolled his eyes and locked his eyes to me with a smirk, "Should I just simply end her? I can't afford any more troubles from your side now can I? I'm sure I can't use her.".

"Try me.", my eyes bore into his.

He scoffed again, "Get yourself ready, you're leading the team tomorrow."

I stayed silent. He smirked and left, the guards standing behind me unlocking the chains. I glared at them before getting out of the room.

I need to call Ace. We cant wait any more than this.

The plan shall start now.

"Hey oldie~", Luna's voice boomed with tease, addressing Ace, making him roll his eyes in response.

"What do you want this time?", he asked, obviously annoyed.

Luna wiggled her eyebrows, "We wanna see her~", she said with a grin.

"'We'?", Ace looked behind Luna, three monkeys were standing there with the same grin as Luna. Making him groan.

"Oh come on, I wanna see which beauty married an oldie like you.", she teased.

"Stop calling me oldie first." He glared, crossing his arms against his chest.

"Yes grandpa", Luna saluted.

"Pfft", jimin laughed.

"Come onnn,", Luna whined. If anyone from Italy that knew her or even the four sisters had seen her now, they would have been traumatized for time.

"Jesus Christ woman, why do you have to be so difficult.", he rolled his eyes.

She and the three brothers grinned continuously until Ace let out a sigh. "Fine, I'll call her for dinner.",

"Yes!!", the three brothers and Luna looked at each other mischievously. Ace was a hundred percent sure that they were clearly up to something again.

"Oh my god.", Ace facepalmed, sighing heavily. Just a few days with them already made him feel like he was a zoo keeper, guarding a few little naughty monkeys. He sometimes thought to himself 'what crime did I commit towards my dear friend that he cursed me with this job', he didn't know if he should cry at his fate or laugh at his friend's future.

Ace's phone rang, he took his phone out, the name seojun in bold letters showed up. 'Talk of the devil', he walked away from the other for attending the call.

Luna didn't see who was calling. She was busy murmuring with the three brothers. Cooking something up.

Suddenly, her phone also rang. Jisoo.

"Hey rabbit boy, take these two and go do as we planned.", she said.

"Stop calling me rabbit boy already. And you ain't coming with us?", he asked.

"I'll be there in while."

"Come soon.", taehyung said and the three left together.

Luna walked towards the garden and called jisoo back after making sure no one was around.

" What is it? ", she asked.

"... Jennie cracked the code.", jisoo said, her voice holding firmness in it.

Luna took a deep breath, "And?",

"I can't tell you on phone. And We have got instructions, the details have been sent. We haven't opened the file yet, but we need to prepare for it in three days... Which means..", jisoo stopped.

"..Which means this is my last day with them..", Luna completed her words. Her voice was heavy with emotions which were unknown to her just a few months ago. This was finally going to end. She was finally going to get her freedom.. But why doesn't she feel happy..? This was all she ever wanted..

A sigh was heard from the other side, "try to be back on the abode after midnight. Enjoy your last day with them.. Luna..", jisoo said and cut the call.

Luna took a deep breath. Its time for the real mission to start. Time for the actual things to happen.

Kirl's voice pierced Ace's ears, "It's time, Ace. Tell our men to start the mission."

Damn I've got a lot of nerve to literally disappear for 4 months and come back with a small chapter. But I couldn't write more because I forgot the story a bit- hehe-

I just hope you guys didn't leave because I disappeared for so long🥲
