Jenna walked up to the porch of Aurelia's home with a small frown on her face.

Katherine had texted her out of the blue that Aurelia and her needed to discuss something with the blonde.

She was mildly worried because she had never heard the elusive Katherine Pierce sound so nervous over a phone call.

She raised her hand to ring the bell when the door opened on its own and in front of her was a face she hadn't seen before.

She looked taken aback considering the fact that she knew Aurelia didn't have any guests coming to her house, ever.

Elijah was just about to go out for some business when he came face to face with Jenna. He seemed as confused as her.

"Uhm, who are you?" Jenna questioned the brown haired man warily.

"I could ask you the same thing." He retorted making Jenna cross her hands on her chest.

"I am Jenna and you're a stranger in my best friend's home. Now tell me who the hell you are before I—"

"Ah, Jenna, yes, Kat and Lia have been waiting for you." Elijah said with a sudden change in his demeanor as he stepped aside to let her through.

She eyed him suspiciously making him chuckle.

"I'm Elijah, Lia's brother-in-law." He finally introduced himself making her look surprised before nodding with a relaxed smile.

"It's good to meet you." She said putting forward her hand towards him and he joined with a firm shake.

"Likewise." He smiled back. "It was lovely to meet you." He stated politely before walking out.

Jenna nodded, looking slightly starstruck before she shook her head and walked into the living area where she knew she would find the Ravena and the Petrova.

"Elijah is hot!" Jenna exclaimed as soon as she entered. Lia snorted as Katherine rubbed the back of her neck.

"Yeah, well, he is also a narcissistic jerk." She muttered.

Aurelia rolled her eyes. "Don't pretend as if you didn't bang him yesterday, Kat. And the whole week before that." She said sweetly.

Jenna's eyes widened as she choked out a laugh. "So you guys finally did it?" She asked pouring herself a drink as she flopped down beside Katherine. "Addie told me about the sexual tension." She added.

Katherine smacked the back of her head with a scowl. "There is no sexual tension!" She muttered.

Aurelia scoffed at that, "yeah, sure, and I am not the most powerful creature on this planet." She jabbed gaining a fist bump from Jenna.

Katherine rolled her eyes looking between the two with a pout. "Would you two just stop picking on me?" She whined.

"Now you sound like Elena." Jenna groaned. "Don't even get me started on what she did today. God, I just want to scream at her face that I know all of the things she's trying so poorly to hide."

That was when Aurelia and Katherine exchanged uncomfortable looks. Jenna looked at them with confusion. "What is it?" She asked.

Aurelia cleared her throat. "So, I had to talk to you about something." She stated.

Jenna raised an eyebrow seeing their ominous behavior.

"What's going on, guys?" The strawberry-blonde asked. "You're not thinking of taking away my memories about all this, are you?" She sputtered out with a horrified expression.

Aurelia scrunched her forehead in confusion. "What? No! Why would I do that?" She questioned.

Jenna visibly relaxed seeing that. "Oh, thank God!" She breathed. "So, tell me what happened?" She asked after a beat.

"It's about Elena." Katherine spoke up. "There is something you don't know about the reason we're here." She stated.

Jenna nodded, gesturing for them to continue. Aurelia huffed realizing that it was better to just rip off the bandaid.

"I told you about my husband right? How his mother had placed a spell on her to bind the werewolf side inside him?" Jenna nodded.

"Well, there is a way to break the curse." Aurelia added.

Jenna suddenly looked happy for the noirette. "Really? That's so good, Lia!" She grinned.

However, her lips dropped into a frown when she saw the two of them looking at her with slight pity.

"Guys, spill already! What's going on?" Jenna asked in annoyance.

"Okay, so, you know that I have been running from someone for my whole life right?" Katherine asked and when Jenna nodded she continued, "that person is none other than Lia's husband, Klaus."

"But why?"

"Because I crossed him. I am a doppelganger and I was the key to breaking his curse. I turned myself into a vampire and he was stuck with his curse yet again." The Petrova explained.

Jenna looked to be taking the information in but she still looked at them confused because she didn't understand why they were telling her all of this.

Aurelia reached forward and took Jenna's hand in hers. "The reason we're tellonh you this is because Elena is a doppelganger and the key to breaking Nik's curse." She finally revealed.

Jenna felt like someone had dropped thousands of kilo-tons on her shoulders. She opened her mouth to speak but couldn't form the words.

"What would Elena need to do?" She questioned the Ravena.

Aurelia looked as if she was doing the most painful and regretful thing in her life. She hated dropping this information on Jenna.

"Jenna, don't worry, I will save her—"

"What would she have to do?" Jenna repeated through gritted teeth, already dreading the answer.

"She would have to die." Katherine stated. "In order for Klaus to break the curse, Elena needs to die."

Jenna immediately freed her hands from Lia and stood up shaking her head. "No! You are not killing my niece, Lia." She shrieked stepping away from them.

Aurelia stood up and tried to pacify her but Jenna stepped back from her making a painful ache go through her chest.

She never wanted Jenna to feel this way. She loved her.

"Jenna, you need to calm down, please!" Katherine begged in a soft voice that was way out of character for the Petrova.

"YOU'RE ASKING ME TO CALM DOWN?" Jenna yelled at them, her voice echoing through the house. "Elena might be a bitch at times but she is still my niece; my responsibility. She does not deserve to die just because of the face she wears." She snapped at them.

"Jenna, if you would please hear me out, you'll know that I have a way where we can both get what we want." Aurelia requested.

"No, you want something. I don't. Leave Elena be, Aurelia!" Jenna muttered with slight tears in her eyes.

She felt slightly betrayed because of the revelation.

Aurelia sighed and rubbed her forehead before she reached out to the blonde again and this time Jenna did not step back. However, her anger was quite visible through her eyes.

"Listen to me, once, okay?" Aurelia requested again as she made Jenna sit down and Katherine brought a glass of water for her.

Jenna took it with shaky hands, however, she did throw a glare towards Katherine.

"Nik has suffered without half of himself for a millennium." Aurelia stated as she looked at Jenna with a hopeful look. "I have never seen him get torned up about anything as much as this. So, Jenna, I am begging you, please let him break the curse."

"Aurelia, you are asking me for Elena's life. She is my dead sister's daughter. What kind of a sister would I be if I let Elena die?" She cried out.

"But she won't be dead. I will save her. Trust me on this." The Ravena countered immediately. "She will come back to life."

Jenna looked unconvinced, "how can you be sure about that, Lia?" She questioned.

Aurelia gave Katherine a small smile. "Because I had found a way to save Kat before she ran away and became a vampire." She stated.

"The biggest mistake of my life was not trusting her." Katherine said pointing to the Raven Witch.

Jenna looked at both the women.

She had never found such close friends as them and she knew in her heart that they wouldn't lie to her.

Not about this.

However, that still did not mean that she was alright with the thought of Elena dying in a sacrificial ritual.

But then, she did want to believe Aurelia when she said that she would not let the Gilbert girl die.

Jenna sighed. Her mind was too clogged to be able to think straight about this. "Give me some time. Please. Let me think this over, you are asking a lot out of me." She pleaded.

Aurelia looked at her through soft, understanding orbs. Katherine too nodded, placing a comforting hand on Jenna's shoulder.

"Take your time, Jen. But trust me, I will not let your niece die." Aurelia said in a reassuring manner.

Jenna nodded before realizing something as she looked at Aurelia with confusion.

"Wait, why do you want to help Klaus? Kat told me he cheated on you." Jenna pointed out.

"Dick." Katherine muttered in anger before narrowing her eyes seeing Aurelia's sheepish expression.

"Wait, why aren't you looking angry like usual." Katherine questioned raising an eyebrow.

Jenna too looked at the raven haired woman with a mildly suspicious look.

Aurelia watched them grow impatient and sighed. She cleared her throat and met Katherine's gaze.

"There is something I need to tell you both."

Elijah waited outside the high school, leaning against his car before Adonis walked over to him carrying his bagpack on his shoulder and a grumpy look on his face.

"Awh, did someone get bullied?" Elijah teased with a grin making Adonis glare at him.

"Suck it." He grumbled.

Elijah groaned. "I'd rather not, thank you very much." He muttered in visible disgust as he got in the driver's seat and Adonis slid into the passenger side.

The blond then turned to the Original with an inquisitive look. "Okay, what's the deal with you picking me up from school?"

Elijah gave him a blank expression. "Why? Can I not pick up my favorite nephew and my best friend from school?" He asked nonchalantly making Adonis scoff.

"Okay, one, this is not the first time I'm going to a high school. And two, I know you too well to know that something is cooking in your mind." He deadpanned.

The Original grinned, "see? That's why we're family. You just know me too well!" He said punching his shoulder.

Adonis glared at him. "What are you planning?" He asked.

Elijah didn't reply for a moment as he took an unusual turn which could only lead to one place in town.

"Oh, my God, you're taking me to the Salvatores!" Adonis exclaimed. "Please tell me we get to mess with them." He practically begged.

"Damn right, we do. But, don't tell Lia." The Mikaelson warned pointing a finger at the blond who made a gesture of zipping his mouth.

Elijah shook his head and smiled just smiled before pulling over outside the Salvatore Boarding House.

"You know what to do?" The brunet questioned Adonis who grinned right before disappearing into thin air.

Once Adonis was sure that he was invisible, the men got out of the car and Elijah walked over to the door.

He entered without knocking and Adonis slipped in after him.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Damon snapped as soon as he saw Elijah.

"I figured that we were long overdue for a chat." The Original snarked.

Damon glared at him, "wrong choice coming into my home to threaten me." He spat as he sped forward in hopes of attacking the Mikaelson but Adonis stepped in between and broke Damon's arm.

The vampire yelled in agony as he looked around in confusion when he couldn't realize what made him stop.

That was when Adonis materialized into view and left Damon's wrist with a satisfactory grin on his face as his golden eyes went back to their usual cerulean color.

Damon gaped at the two men, "you can become invisible?" He asked in disbelief as Elijah chuckled and casually poured himself a drink from Damon's stash.

"Okay, what the hell are you both here for?" The Salvatore questioned in annoyance.

Elijah clicked his tongue in disapproval when he didn't like the taste of the alcohol. "Cheap." He muttered.

Damon shot him an offended glare but the Mikaelson only shrugged.

"We're here to warn you." Adonis stated crossing his arms.

Damon raised an eyebrow at that, "for what?" He snapped.

"To not do anything stupid and stand aside for the next few days as the events unravel." Elijah spoke up in a careless manner.

The younger vampire looked confused and more pissed than ever.

"What's about to happen in the next few days?"

"It involves the love of your life and your brother's girlfriend, Elena." Adonis smirked.

"What about her?" Damon asked questioningly. Elijah snorted when he didn't correct the part about Elena being the love of his life.

"Let's just say that we need her for a certain someone who is very special to us. And so, we are here to ask you to let things take their natural course." Adonis explained further.

"Why would I do that if you're planning in abducting Elena?" Damon retorted.

"Oh, no, we are not going to abduct Elena. We just need her dead." Elijah announced openly in a challenging voice. It was as if seeing a beast rise and question if anyone would wish to oppose him.

Like a predator, Elijah got up and walked over to Damon. He looked him down with a grimace before scoffing.

"Damon, you're an average man at best." Elijah said abruptly. "However, you can still do a lot better than Elena. It's just a girl. Don't risk dying for her."

Damon snorted and made the mistake of turning around and taking Elijah's neck in his hands before he grunted loudly when Elijah's hand entered his chest cavity in retaliation.

"Don't ever think that you can best me, Mr. Salvatore." Elijab smirked squeezing his heart in his palm.

Adonis watched them both with an amused expression when the clicking of heels was heard.

They all turned to find Aurelia standing in the foyer with Katherine flanking her.

"Leave the poor man, Elijah." Aurelia mumbled walking in. Elijah didn't follow through which made Lia glare at him and he rolled his eyes and took his hand out of Damon's chest.

Damon fell to his knees in relief. "Leave it to you to spoil my fun." The Original said the Aurelia with a grumpy face.

"How'd you find us?" Adonis asked his mother.

"We knew you two would come here looking for trouble." Katherine answered for her making the blond shrug.

"Look, whatever you all are planning, please don't. Elena has done nothing wrong to you all." Damon said in a surprisingly reasonable voice.

Aurelia smiled and nodded. "You're right, she hasn't. However, she is an integral part in breaking a very strong curse."

"The curse of the sun and the moon?" He retorted surprising everyone as Katherine and Elijah somehow stopped themselves from bursting into laughter.

Aurelia pursed her lips together in a knowing smile before nodding, "yes, the curse of the sun and the moon."

"Why do you need to break it? You're a witch."

"As a witch it is my duty to remove such atrocities planted by other witches." The Ravena answered flatly.

"You are Jenna's friend. What do you think she will say to the idea of her niece being sacrificed?" Damon snapped.

Aurelia rolled her eyes as she and Katherine exchanged bored looks. "For her sake I will make sure that Elena will come back to life."

"Wait, what?" Elijah uttered out with a look of disbelief. Katherine shot him a glare which made him shut up.

"I won't let you kill her." Damon muttered shaking his head.

Aurelia smiled sweetly at him. "There's nothing you can do to stop Klaus. He is coming for her, whether you like it or not."

The Salvatore was not given a chance to say anything further as Adonis snapped his neck from behind.

Elijah looked down at Damon's body and nudged it with the tip of his shoe. "A little dramatic, Addie." He commented.

The blond shrugged. "Well, considering that Caroline hates me for turning the boy she likes into a wolf, I'd say I'm pissed at most things."

"And Caroline would be the girl you like?" Elijah reminded with a grin but Adonis rolled his eyes and walked out of the house with the three following behind.

"Oh, and by the way," Aurelia said just when she was about to get into her car with Katherine. They all looked at her questioningly.

"Nik is coming to Mystic Falls soon."
