It was quiet.

Too quiet for Seonghwa's liking.

But San broke it

"We don't know how far that person went hyung, just forget about them!" He said. "You don't know that for sure, they could be hiding at this moment, we never know" Yeosang chimed in. He was curious about this person Seonghwa saw all of a sudden.

"And you can't be so sure about it either!" Sans' voice raised a little. "San stop being such a baby!" Wooyoung teased. "I'm not being a baby! This is an apocalypse, you idiot!" San stopped in his tracks, now frustrated with how his friends are not taking his side. Hongjoong rolled his eyes at the three.

"If you guys don't stop arguing, I and Seonghwa are gonna leave-" Hongjoong started to say until he heard a noise. He instantly went quiet. So did Seonghwa. "Hey! Don't do that! We just escaped from zombies!" Wooyoung exclaimed in fear. "Shut up!" Hongjoong swiftly covered the boy's mouth.

Snap

It happened again.

Seonghwas' eyes narrowed around the trees that were blocking his view. Just then something fell. Everyone's heads turned to the sound of leaves rustling. Everyone quickly got into defense mode. "Whoever you are, come out now!" Seonghwa demanded. "You have to be kidding, right?! That could be a zombie for all we know!" San squealed. He was hiding behind the two oldest.

"You seriously act like you don't rip off their heads.." Yeosang quietly scoffed at the younger behavior. San glared at him. "You have to the count of 3 or we'll attack!" Seonghwa warned them. Wooyoung looked at him like he was crazy. He pushed Hongjoongs' hand away from his mouth. "No, how about we leave them alone and go to Hongjoong hyungs house as he wanted.." Just as he said that the person appeared from behind the trees. Everyone was quiet. "Dera...?" San quietly asked. The person looked up swiftly, eyes instantly widening when they looked at who called their name. San quickly pushed Seonghwa to the side and ran up to Dera.

"We did all that for it to be Sans little girlfriend" Yeosang scoffed. "Yeosang, be nice!" Hongjoong scolded. Yeosang rolled his eyes in annoyance. "She should be dead.." Everyone looked at him. "Yeosang! Why would you say that?! This is not like you!" San was surprised at his best friend's words. "Sorry! Can we go now?! We found the person already!" Yeosang turned his gaze away from the group. He could feel his blood boiling from the anger that quickly built at the sight of the person he had despite for the longest.

No one else said a word and started walking, looking for a way out of the mountains. Seonghwa was still confused about what happened. So he walked with Yeosang who was walking far behind the group. "You want to explain everything to me? It was kind of surprising to hear that come from you.." He asked him. "It's not obvious? Dera is Sans' girlfriend." He stated. "Now we both know I'm not talking about that" Seonghwa chuckled. "Why do you want to know? It doesn't matter anyways.." Yeosangs voice trailed off. "Well, I'd figured since you guys helped me, I'll help you all" Seonghwa suggested. Yeosang looked up at him. Seonghwa smiled at him.

He looked back down at the ground. "Me, San, and Wooyoung have been friends since we were little. As we grew together, I grew a crush on San. That's how I also figured out I was attracted to guys. I never told him, for the sake of our relationship not getting ruined. Only you and Wooyoung know. When Dera came into the picture, it felt like San was being taken away from me and Wooyoung both. I'm sure Wooyoung didn't mind, cause he was happy for San, but I couldn't bear seeing him being taken away that easily, so I've always tried getting him to do things with me, but I was always turned down." Yeosang explained, kicking the quite large rocks on the ground.

"So one day I stopped trying and let it be. I thought it was fate, that he would never like a guy. So ever since, I distanced myself from him. We met Joongie hyung and the rest of the group a few months later. I got close to Jongho, he's very nice once you get to know him. I'd talk to him more than I'd talk to San. It was nice not having to feel the constant pain of heartbreak when I talked to him." His lips turned into a pout.

Seonghwa hummed in response, listening to Yeosang rant to him. He wondered if someone felt like that towards him. "When the apocalypse broke out, San couldn't find Dera anywhere, and so he assumed for the worst. He kept crying and crying for the first two days, and then I guess he accepted the fact that his girlfriend was dead. I was a bit sad for him too but was also glad that the apocalypse broke so that we could finally get our friendship back in shape, you know with working together, but now as you see that plan is ruined as the problem wasn't dead.." He sounded more annoyed than upset.

"Yeosang, don't you think that's a bit unfair towards Dera..?" Seonghwa asked. Yeosang looked at him again, confused. "Why? What do you mean?" Seonghwa turned his head. "Well, you did say that Wooyoung was the only one who knew. How was she supposed to know that you had feelings for San?" Yeosang looked ahead. He saw San and Dera being close together. It hurt. "I suppose you're right, I'll apologize later.." He looked down once again. All Seonghwa could do was comfort the younger with affection. He was never in a situation like that so he couldn't give him any advice. Yeosang didn't mind it though, he'd figure he could create a friendship with Seonghwa too.

The group continued walking among the tall trees. San and Hongjoong were accompanying Dera, while Yeosang and Seonghwa walked together. Wooyoung on the other hand had stopped walking with everyone altogether. He stood there as he watched everyone walk ahead. He then turned around and bent down, to make it seem like he was distracted by something. He pulled his sleeve up, where his watch appear. He turned it a few times before a hologram showed up.

"Jung Wooyoung, how is everything going so far?" A voice was heard from the hologram. "Everything is going good so far Mr. Lim, I convinced him to go along with us, we just found Dera just a while ago. It was such a good idea to send those zombies after us" He responded. "The man in the hologram nodded. "Thank you, and great work so far, I'll be looking forward to some more progress?" Wooyoung nodded. "Yes sir!" Mr. Lee smirked sheepishly. "Great, talk to you later Mr. Jung" and with that, the hologram disappeared.

"Wooyoung! C'mon, what are you doing?!" Wooyoung looked back and saw Hongjoong calling out for him. "Oh sorry hyung! I got distracted" is the same excuse he used every time. No one suspected a single thing. What a bunch of idiots...
