The air was filled with burned flesh. The streets were empty. The city had become a black and scary place.

The houses were burned to the ground. Family was taken away from each other. No one seemed to be alive. Everyone but Park Seonghwa.

Seonghwa stood in the middle of the street, terrified. One minute he was having fun and playing around with the ones he loved, then it was all gone at the end.

He sometimes thought he survived with luck, and then he sometimes thought he deserved the things that happened to him.

In the end, it didn't matter, because he was living a nightmare he couldn't escape.

The water splashed with each rock that was thrown at it. Seonghwa found himself miserable and alone, with little food and protection.

The zombies had made their way back to the ruined city, seeking more flesh to devour. With the knowledge he had, he quickly escaped the area without any traces.

Now he was hiding in a cold and dark cave he found in the mountains, praying for someone to find him and save him from the horrible trauma he had to experience.

Seonghwa got up and went back inside the cave, picking up the small spear along the way.

He marked the wall with a line.

Day 5

Seonghwa sighed. He rubbed the dark circles that were under his eyes.

"When will this be over?..."

He asked the same question over and over again.

When will this be over?
Will it ever be over?
Why won't it end already?!

The same things repeated and repeated. He was starting to give up.

Seonghwa laid down on the hard and cold stone. He stared at the top of the cave as if it was a blank canvas waiting to be painted.

I hope to see you again
Please wait for me...

Seonghwa prayed before closing his eyes and going into a deep slumber.

Blood Everywhere

The vibrant colors of crystals blinded the sight of one's eyes

I could hear the clanks of chains as they were being pulled on

I looked around

People

There were other people here

They were pulling and tugging as hard as they could

I saw one of the faces

Too Familiar

Suddenly, A hurtful scream deafened my ears

The pain

It was too much

I look up once again

No one

No one is there anymore

All except one
