Dreams are false hopes, that is what Jeongin believes.

he's been trying for so many years in becoming successful in music where he can dance on stage and bring happiness to other people just like how he felt while watching them on TV when he was a kid.

But seeing his dreams crashed in front of his eyes, it makes him very depressed and furious when he was kicked out from "white teddy" because the CEO turned out to be the father of one of the girls he slept with in high school and from that, the fake scandal of him hitting his band mates went viral to hide the fact that Jeongin is a womanizer.

There are always consequences.

that karma that hit you right in the face and banning you from achieving your dreams because you are a bad person and that is what the womanizer saw himself as.

but can he bring himself to stop? No! no he can't. It's one of his sides now and he can't get rid of it easily.

Mr.Yang:“you didn't succeed like you told me you will”

his father spoke with a very deep disappointing tone at the dining table where all the family is gathered to have dinner.

Ms.Yang:“honey, not now. we're eating”

his wife tried to calm her husband down so she could lowkey defend her son.

Mr.Yang:“NO! no...i have to say it now for him to understand, I never want my son to be an entertainment musician but how could I call myself his father if I don't support his dream? HE DID THIS TO HIMSELF!! your son is going around sleeping with girls like some trash habit, he now has to be responsible for his own actions and mature up to fix his mistakes”

Jeongin felt a sting on his heart apon hearing his father scolding him and claiming that there are a lot of people that failed to fulfill their dreams and he hated how his father was right about that.

But joining college wasn't that bad after all, with his grades that made him join business marketing which his father chose for him and convinced him that he has to study triple harder to make him proud after he fails him in becoming a k-pop star.

Asides from studying, the womanizer couldn't stop sleeping around with girls. it was a way that he finds to relieve stress from anything that is bothering him while working extra hard not to fail his classes going to the library every day, attending his morning lectures and visiting other lecturers that isn't in his schedule to help him gain more knowledge about what the f*ck he's studying and also to build a good grade in his record so he wouldn't disappoint his father again.

he sat at one of the tables where he put glasses on and started listening to students doing their presentation until one familiar person stood there froze while clutching into his papers.

It was Han Jisung, His tutor from high school.

just by taking a look at him, Jeongin can feel that the outcast was nervous and about to faint.

he stood up and walked towards him and once he arrived he put his hand on top of his shoulder that caused Jisung to flinch then looked at him with wide eyes.

Jeongin:“hey, you okay Jisung?”

looking at him up close, the older hasn't changed at all.

still with the same gloomy look, the black mask, the classic haircut with the plain hoodie.

It Seems like Jisung never worked hard to change his appearance.

Professor:“excuse me gentleman, but who are you?”

Jeongin:“I'm his....friend”

They weren't that close friends, because they kept their relationship formal and Jeongin only saw Jisung as his tutor in the past and that it.

Jisung(calming down):“I'm fine, thank you Jeongin, *take a deep breath* I'm gonna do my presentation now, you can go back to your seat”

Jeongin nodded at what the outcast said and went back sitting in the first row to listen to his hyung up close.

After the outcast was done with his presentation about canned food, the outcast turned around to have a quick talk with his professor which is an opportunity for the womanizer to leave the lecture room running away from there not really confident to talk to Jisung after he ghosted him for 2 years.

He felt guilty that he neglected him because of his dream that didn't come true.

Jisung:“WAIT!! JEONGIN!!”

hearing his name being called, the womanizer stops on his tracks with his arms still in his pants pockets, afraid of turning around to face Jisung.

Jeongin:“what do you want?”

he asked after he felt his hyung standing very close to him so he could say it with a low tone.

Jisung:“It's been so long since we saw each other, I wanna catch up with you, do you want to have lunch with me? I'll pay...”

Jeongin turned around looking at the person who doesn't deserve to be ignored by him, and it was hard looking at him right in the eyes, he wanted to deny his offer...

Jeongin:“yeah, let's go”

but his mouth betrayed him.

Jisung felt proud of himself approaching him first, Jeongin smiled a little recalling how he and the outcast used to go to that restaurant near their school to have lunch because the school canteen was offering some uneatable dog food sh*t that both didn't like to eat.

Jisung led Jeongin at one of the junk food trucks where they buy fried hotdogs and then took a seat on a bench at the college field where they started eating together.

It feels like time went back to the past where both were still high schoolers.

Jisung:“I learned what happened with you recently, I know it's not my place to say this but you are an amazing person Jeongin and it's not the end of the world if your dream didn't come true. I know that you're a hardworking person and whatever path you choose, who knows? maybe you'll find a new dream in your journey”

He suddenly starts comforting the other despite it being too late for that but it really worked on Jeongin who looked at him with his chubby cheeks which was filled with food.

Jisung was the first person to say such things to encourage him yet to comfort him

Jeongin:“let be friends, hyung...”

He said after he swollen his hotdog which caused the outcast to stop chewing on his hotdog and looked at the blonde who just called him "hyung" right now which was overwhelming

Jisung:“What are you talking about?
I thought we were already friends...
you have always been a friend to me, jeongin”

he smiled with his eyes that caused the blonde to feel more guilty over ghosting the outcast in the past two years.

Jisung saw him as friends while Jeongin didn't and he thought of him as a tool to pass 11th grade.

Jeongin doesn't deserve Jisung's forgiveness.
