It has been a while since Jisung had graduated from high school and started his college life as a freshman and at the same time, Jeongin was in his last year of high school getting ready for his pre-debut in a k-pop band called "white teddy"

2 months since the school has started and Jeongin was busy with his pre-debut more than he is with his studies and that caused him to be lectured by his teachers about his so many absences and coming late to school.

Teacher:“how many times should I tell you Mr.Yang that school isn't some local park where you come around whenever you want, it's a place where people study and take their future seriously”

his Korean literature teacher, Mr. Park hit him with a notebook on his head while lecturing him

Jeongin:“but I don't need to study sensei-nim”

he gained another hit on his head from his teacher after saying that.

Mr.Park:“I had enough with you, now settle down everyone, there's a new student who is gonna join us today and also there's a pop quiz”

all students groaned on hearing that there was yet another surprise pop quiz they didn't study for.

Mr.Park:“SHUT UP!!”

the teacher yelled at his students.

As the silence filled the classroom the teacher told the new students to step inside and once he did he wrote his name on the board and turned around to face the students.

“hello everyone my name is kim seungmin and you can call me seungmin”

as soon as he introduced himself, Jeongin immediately looked away from the window to the new students and stood up causing his chair to fall backwards on the ground and that gains everyone attention

Jeongin:“seungminnie?”

the boy let out a broken yet soft voice apon seeing him.

Seungmin:“innie?”

the new students called him with the same broken soft voice.

Both Seungmin and Jeongin ran towards each other and when they met in the center of the classroom, they hugged a really big hug not caring about what other students think or say.

Mr.Park:“excuse me gentlemen, but you're in the middle of class...do your little reunion after class, now both of you are in your seats”

that broke their hug and then looked towards their teacher then at the empty seats at the back.

After they settled down beside each other, Jeongin couldn't believe his eyes... His childhood best friend who only used to talk to him by texts is now sitting beside him

Jeongin:“I can't believe you're here, with me here in this school”

Seungmin smiled at his childhood best friend

Seungmin:“I'm here now”

Jeongin:“like...i don't understand...aren't you supposed to be a graduate student?”

he asked but when Seungmin was about to answer, the teacher shut them up.

Later on at the break period, both boys spent their break at the drinks corridor where Jeongin was leaning on one of the vending machines while Seungmin stood in front of him while holding a drink.

Seungmin:“I dropped a grade when I was in bordering school and when I was about to repeat the year they couldn't accept me in the elite computer science academy saying I shouldn't have such year repeating records, I convinced my parents to sign me up for your school because it has more potential to join the college of my dreams”

he explains the reason why he suddenly popped up here when Jeongin thought that Seungmin was gonna stay there.

Jeongin:“you know I missed you so much”

Seungmin was actually glad to see his childhood best friend after a long time.

He doesn't have younger siblings and he sees jeongin as his cute little brother, so he smiled and ruffled his hair.

Seungmin:“I missed you too, now give me a new update about your life”

Jeongin:“while you were away, I actually made a friend who is much closer to me than any other person I met so far”

Jeongin spoke with a dimple smile on his face remembering his older friend Jisung who also was his tutor.

That genuine dimple smile, Seungmin rarely sees him doing it to someone else unless he's serious about that person.

Seungmin:“ohh really?who's that? And why didn't you text me about them”

If there was a person who made Jeongin -his childhood best friend for 10 years- smile like that, of course he would be curious about the person who was able to make him like this.

Jeongin:“just someone, I'll tell you about him later”
