[author's note: this is about a year's word of collected headcanons]
• Stephen is used to being the small spoon because the cloak wraps around him a lot
• Stephen literally doesn't fucc with anybody who doesn't use condoms. The doctor in him forbids it
• Stephen is flexible
• Loves surreal memes
• Wong and Stephen get a little too lit with candle incense
• Is literally the most open minded person you'll ever meet
• Stephen and Wong got to marathon The Addams Family
• (Pre-crash) Stephen's super secret celebrity crush was Tony Stark.
• But when he came to Kamur-Taj, he spent months learning under Baron Mordo, and he was able to develop a real crush. Karl was basically the first man he fell in love with.
• Cars aren't that big of a trigger for him, it's just that he can't stand them due to the trauma he endured from the crash.
• The ONLY time Stephen won't know anything is if he's purposely staying ignorant to it because he hopes the truth isn't real
• In the sanctum they mostly gotta order out bc the shet in the fridge is tainted and only Stephen can stomach it
• While he trained in Kamur-Taj, Stephen would get constant hand cramps trying to perfect the intricate hand movements to create spells.
• Peter could actually go online and use all of Stephen's shet as a meme so that when people hear an actual superhero say that in public they will think it's really popular and Stephen would be confused af when people cheer him on and make him say another but he's actually trying to use his spells to fight creatures
• Sometimes his internal clock is so disoriented he'll be doing his nightly activities in the morning and maybe even eat breakfast in the afternoon.
• Danny and Stephen getting together to practice tai chi in the park
• Stephen would be the one to spoil a movie because he would have already snuck to see how it goes in the future. This benefits him because he can get away with not being scared during horror movies and jump scares.
• Strangefrost fam spends a good deal of their money on lint rollers bc of Newt and Lilith
• If Stephen ever got an Amazon Echo, the ghosts and spirits in his house would probably fucc with him and order so much stuff.
• When he was a surgeon, Stephen was too arrogant to become an organ donor. He wouldn't dare spare any part of his body. But after becoming a sorcerer and reformed his ways, he forgot to change his position.
• Wong makes Stephen sign permission slips before using any powerful artifact
• Stephen wouldn't hit his kids, but he would tamper with their mystical abilities to decrease their power for the remainder of the punishment period
• Stephen joining a book club just so he can still integrate himself into human society once a week
• An overuse of magic can cause Stephen's body to undergo drastic changes. This can vary to light instances like numbing, colds, fevers, headaches, stomach aches, insomnia, blindness, to extreme cases like random tumor growths, forms of cancer and diabetes, heart attacks and artery failure. These changes are usually temporary if dealt with quickly. They usually need to be treated by additional forms of magic.
• Depending on the power of the spell, magic can also deplete his body mass. Stephen can work out physically for days to get that dream body, but using one very powerful spell can revert his body back to square one: skinny and frail.
• He can go a long time without breathing.
• Stephen would be open to all kinds of religions and faiths. Sometimes when he wants to learn more about a specific religion he'll practice going about his daylike a regular believer. He even has his own personal copy of the Bible, the Quran, the Torah all on a bookshelf with the rest of the books in his library.
• There was one instance where Stephen was completely infatuated with the concept of reincarnation.
• Like religion, Stephen is also pretty fluid with his sexuality and gender. He doesn't conform to earthly definitions anymore. He's explored so many universes and planets and on these journeys he has seen many ways cultures and people and species have expressed themselves that have caused him to elevate himself beyond labels. This was really the opening Stephen needed to explore more of himself and what he could become. Gender wise, for example, the robes are luckily a good neutral clothing to wear to express however he may feel about himself.
• In a way, Stephen is gender fluid but most of the time he uses more masculine pronouns.
• Modern medicine no longer works for Stephen. If he has a headache or any other kind of pain, Wong will have to make a home made remedy.
• He strongly believes in omens.
• The rotunda has access to the Smurf village.
• He's ambidextrous
• Stephen probably could serve as a therapist. His guests already come to him to speak about their supernatural problems, Stephen could do a good job at both pre and post recovery for anyone who's been affected by some otherworldly creature. Especially if it's something as powerful as Nightmare or Dormammu
• Sometimes regular everyday house items are used to hold evil spirits and other mystic entities. Stephen would travel to common garage sales or thrift shops to find simple vases or chest boxes. He would use these items to place a particular containment spell over them in order to harness the spirit he would soon trap inside.
• Stephen already attended this small "mutant/inhuman parent association meeting" for Wanda, but now he's there more and more for Billy and Tommy bc they are teens growing into this world and Stephen just needs extra guidance on how to support them through this process
• Before Wanda/Billy/Tommy visit the sanctum Stephen always wears some sort of stupid X-Men/mutant t shirt and it's really embarrassing and they all hate it but Stephen
• fortune cookies for Stephen usually come true
• supports recycling and has a system in the house to recycle and organize materials as much as he can
• Stephen had a therapist for only a short time and was diagnosed with depression
• sometimes he goes commando while wearing his robes
• Stephen needs background noise to sleep because the silence gives him anxiety
• sometimes Spider-Man or a young Avenger might help Stephen walk across the street, much to Stephen's annoyance

• the 14 million futures he saw in IW are the same number of times he trapped Dormammu in that time loop
• Stephen used the time stone to restore the artifacts Thor destroyed on his visit before Wong could find out and beat his @ss
THE SANCTUM
• The sanctum itself is actually infinite. It's like a household embodiment of magic itself. There are as many doors and rooms as there are artifacts. It really keeps things interesting and it does nothing to help Stephen's photographic memory. Doors also happen to move around a lot. Rooms also tend to be mere illusion depending on what kind of artifact it's trying to hide away. This was usually a tactic used by the previous masters to throw off possible thieves. Also, walls and floor boards happen to change their patterns. Paint constantly peels, and the patterns on the wall, the colors of the carpet or shades/material of the floor constantly change as well. Masters are expected to keep up with their sanctum's constant changes. There's a pattern to it, but Stephen still has to learn.
• Doors also tend to lock from the front or the back automatically bc of protection depending on the item in the room. To exit or enter you would have to use some sort of spell or special key.
• Stephen doesn't pay for lighting so the sanctum is mostly filled with ancient lights and candles. He and Wong have a strict policy about only using a candle in a room you are present in.
• The paintings in the sanctum, like the drawings also move. The walls also have ghouls and ghosts trapped inside them. Some walls, depending on if you know which one to find, are a portal to another dimension, and you can go into one if you press your hand against it.
• Sometimes Stephen's reclusive @ss likes to keep the sanctum hidden from outsiders so it regularly appears
• The sanctum is low-key alive, like Monster House but better
• I've been meaning to watch the movie but I've always liked how the "House With a Clock in Its Walls" handle how crazy the house is and that's pretty much the sanctum as well.
