Jungkook and Jaein traveled to Hawaii to meet someone, more specifically, Park Jimin. Their parents decided out of the blue that they wanted the kid to get married. Jaein was also shocked as he was older and it made sense for him to get married first. But he knew, given his extremely shy nature, he was socially awkward and he would have difficulty in finding a pair. Jungkook, on the other hand, was the life of the party. Another important thing, when they were two polar opposites, they were the mirror images of each other, chiral as we call in chemistry.
"As they waited for Jimin to pick them up from the airport, Jungkook glared at Jaein. "Where is this Jimin of yours? You know I hate waiting, let alone standing in sunlight."
"I had a word with him, Jungkook-ah. He is waiting, I think we need to go to that end to check," Jaein pointed. "And remember what Appa said, you need to be on your-"
"Best behavior. Yeah, yeah, I know. I won't show him my real self." Jungkook rolled his pretty and dramatic eyes.
Jaein spotted Jimin in his brown suit, standing by the black Mercedez with a bouquet in his hands. He immediately knew that Jungkook was going to make fun of him and his attire by calling him an uncle. He only hoped that the boy wouldn't, but who was he kidding. Jungkook was pissed after being pushed into doing something when he had better things to do at home, play video games, or watch his favorite boyband, TXT.
"Found him," Jaein pulled on Jungkook's hands as the trunk propelled behind them.
"Where?"
"That's why I asked you to at least look at his picture," Jain scolded Jungkook with gritted teeth before stretching his lips into a nervous smile, flashing it at Jimin from a meter away. "The one with long fluffy hair and silver highlights."
Jungkook's eyes caught the man, knocking breath off of him but he'd die, never admit. "Hey," Jaein extended his hand towards Jimin first who accepted it in a firm shake.
"Hi, I am sorry you had to walk all this way, I couldn't get my car that side." Jimin apologized for such a small thing and then he stole a quick glance at Jungkook. It was a classic case of spot the difference where there were two bodies, but the clothes and hair were a bit different. When Jaein was a bit taller and wore trousers and a shirt with boots, Jungkook was in his track pants, fluffy hoodie, and sneakers. Jaein's hair was raven black and parted neatly, whereas Jungkook's was painted pink in highlights and he had them tied in a tiny ponytail.
"Hi, Jungkook," after handing the bouquet to Jaein, Jimin turned to the younger one with nothing in his hand.
"Are you gonna get married to me or Hyung? Why did you give him flowers and I get nothing?" Jungkook thought. "Wait, what am I thinking? I am not marrying him, or anyone." The boy determinedly sighed and smiled when he was jostled out of his trance by Jaein, but the smile was almost... Sinister.
"Hey, I am kind of craving Mc-flurry. Could you please get one for me?" Jungkook asked Jimin and Jaein held the bridge of his nose.
"Sure," Jimin bit his lips, biting back the laughter. "Get inside the car first. I will buy from the nearest McD."
As the brothers sat in the back passenger seat, Jimin sat beside the driver. He kept talking to Jaein and threw one or two questions at Jungkook too, but when he didn't get a response, he turned to see and then smiled again. He could completely understand why the boy was behaving this way. Jaein kept pinching and poking Jungkook to get him to behave but the boy pulled out his earbuds to block out all sounds.
The gentleman brought four ice creams back and offered one to everyone before tapping Jungkook's side of the window. "Thank you," the boy replied, suddenly becoming flustered at the close proximity and the fragrance of the cologne made him want to tear Jimin's clothes open and just sniff him.
After dropping them off at the hotel, Jimin said goodbye only to Jaein as Jungkook wouldn't take his earbuds off. They checked in into their own luxury rooms. The next day was entirely planned by Jimin and his family. Jimin wanted to spend some time alone with Jungkook before they had dinner together at night.
The boy whined and reluctantly got ready into clothes that Jaien forced onto his body when the morning arrived. Jaein was having his breakfast as his day was entirely free and he planned to go shopping. Jimin had arranged a car along with the driver for him so he wouldn't have any inconvenience. Jungkook was hungry, but Jaein wasn't letting him eat, wanting him to have breakfast with Jimin.
When the gorgeous man arrived and Jungkook whiffed the air of a familiar scent, His nostrils flared but his eyes keened at the table. When he lifted his head, he checked Jimin out. The man was in all black denim jeans and a jacket outfit with a round collar t-shirt. What made him look extra highlighting was his golden, small 단것 (honey) locket.
Jungkook built certain anger towards himself that he was actually looking at Jimin, unable to tear his eyes away. He also knew that Jimin and Jaein were looking at him looking at Jimin, but he still couldn't move his eyes away. "It's not gonna happen. If you wanna marry me... Marry him. He is my shadow anyway." Jungkook said after a few considerate moments.
"Yah!"
"Why? Do you have got any other plans?" Jungkook successfully fixed his eyes on his Hyung now.
"Listen to this brat," Jaein mumbled.
"Why don't we date?" Jimin suddenly asked, and Jungkook looked up quickly to ensure that the man was asking him, and not his Hyung.
He shook his head adamantly. "You are too old for me."
"How old do you date?"
"Just 2 years older."
"You are oddly specific."
"Of course, I am."
"Okay, mm..." Jimin thought and Jungkook's eyes that were not meeting his, now curiously looked at him. "I will take you to the TXT concert."
For a moment, Jungkook was on a way to squeal but he held it down. "Why?" He asked, tucking his hair behind his ears delicately and turning Jimin's heart to jelly.
"I want to."
"And you don't want anything in return?"
"No," Jimin's brows furrowed before he shook his head in a sincere manner. "If not date, let us be friends at least."
"I am not buying it."
"I promise. I won't ask anything."
Jungkook unsurely looked at Jaein to say something but the older didn't speak and only bit back his smile as if he knew that the prey was falling in a trap laid by the predator.
"Okay," Jungkook replied in a small voice.
Jimin drove to the concert venue and Jungkook was now thinking at the full capacity of his brain. Jimin had to have planned this beforehand because one just simply cannot barge in into the concert on will without having tickets.
His constant pondering stopped when the silent ride ended and Jimin stepped out of the car. Following the older, Jungkook couldn't help but feel giddy excitement. Even if he wasn't going to marry Jimin, didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the concert, specially when they had VIP access to seats.
Jimin brought Jungkook snacks or anything he required during the whole hours the boys danced and sang. After it ended, Jungkook turned grim. "Come with me," Jimin held Jungkook's palm, and the boy would have pushed him but he was overwhelmed and grateful. His socks were knocked off when he saw the five idols behind the stage. He couldn't move. "What the fuck!"
Jimin nudged him. "Go ahead and meet the boys you love so much."
With gleaming eyes, Jungkook ran towards the five. They talked, hugged and he even secured autographs from them. As he returned with the reddest face and tears rolling down his cheeks. Jimin reached out and offered him a hug to calm him. Jungkook got into Jimin's arms silently. "Who are you?"
"Just a businessman."
"Thank you for today," Jungkook pulled away from the hug and faced Jimin. The older nodded with a small smile. Not having another word to say, Jungkook began to walk away, but something in his stomach felt dreadful. His feet trudged ahead forcefully and he knew he couldn't let whatever he was feeling to Jimin's advantage. He sat voicelessly and it was very unlike Jungkook to be this silent.
The drive from the venue to the hotel came to an end in a few minutes. He got off the car and Jimin followed the boy inside.
Waving at Jungkook, Jimin kept moving ahead in the corridor. As Jungkook looked at the man going, he oddly felt furious. "Damn this was his plan all along to trip me in guilt for him. Fuck!"
"Is it working?" Asked Jaein from behind, carrying all sorts of shopping bags.
"Yeah," Jungkook mumbled almost ashamedly before looking up at his brother. "Shut up."
"Go thank him properly then."
Jungkook's eyes widened for a moment but then he knew he had to do it, so his neck whipped to see that Jimin was at the end of the corridor before he swiftly turned and took the stairs when Jungkook yelled. "Hey! Stop!"
Smirking, Jimin kept his slow pace and descended down a floor. He knew Jungkook was following him and hearing his voice again caused Jimin to smile with his back on the younger.
"I-I will go with you for dinner tonight. But it's just a date. Not marriage." Jimin heard the boy nervously struggle with his words. He wanted to flirt the red out of him, but he couldn't when the boy was so adorable.
"Okay," Jimin flashed Jungkook a sincere smile before he disappeared into one of the rooms.
Jungkook stared at the air where Jimin was standing but then he slowly walked back to go and whine to his Hyung for no reason whatsoever.
Jaein was now setting up his wardrobe when Jungkook jumped on his back. "Hyung~ when are we going back home?"
"Soon agi..." Jaein hummed with a special smile he had for his younger brother. "What does Jimin do?" He asked slowly, putting his chin on Jaein's shoulder and seeing how the older male was setting up the wardrobe.
"He owns these stadiums and hotels here, I mean his father does," Jaein replied while he carefully secured Jungkook as he walked back to bed to pick more clothes he had bought from the bed before walking back to the wardrobe to put them in.
Jungkook now understood how Jimin got VIP access to the concert venue. "I want to sleep with you tonight, Hyung." Jungkook pouted, rubbing his eyes in the process.
Jaein smiled and slowly put him on the bed. "Take a nap," he kissed the boy's forehead.
Jungkook slept in a jiffy as he purred and Jaein covered him under the duvet carefully. The sun had disappeared and they had a dinner planned with Jimin and his family in a few hours.
Jaein took the liberty to ready a black suit for Jungkook and himself for the occasion. He took shower and he was about to wake Jungkook up when he heard the doorbell. Knowing that it must be from Jimin or the staff, he approached the door with quick steps.
As the door opened, Jimin stood outside with flowers again. "Hey," he gazed at Jaein.
What confused Jaein was the undercut and height of Jimin, so he looked below to see if he was wearing the heels, but he found nothing of that sort. "You really are beautiful in person than in your pictures." Jihyun complimented and Jaein understood what had happened here.
"You aren't Jimin, are you?" Jaein asked, stuttering a little and stepping back.
Jihyun flashed a beautiful smile. "No, love."
The shy male just stood by the wall, trying to control his hammering heart and his will to murder his parents for hiding it from him. He successfully decoded that it was never about Jungkook and Jimin's marriage, but his and Jihyun's.
But he was really impressed by the fact that his parents played him so smartly and he wanted to give them kudos for that before killing them. "Love," Jihyun disrupted his thoughts and then he took out his handkerchief to offer him. "I think you won't accept the flowers this time."
"N-no, it's not like that." Jaein quickly snatched the bouquet from Jihyun.
"May I come in, please?" Jihyun asked, still smirking that Jaein couldn't maintain eye contact with him. He forgot that Jungkook was snoring on his bed when he invited the man inside.
Jihyun looked at Jungkook's parted mouth and smiled brightly. "Our parents are geniuses, don't you think?"
"And backstabbers," Jaein replied under his breath. "Baby, get up..." He suddenly lurked towards the boy and wished that Jungkook didn't give him hell. He was proven so wrong.
"Can I try?" Jihyun asked after two minutes and Jaein rolled his eyes.
"Be my guest," he pointed his hands towards Jungkook.
Jihyun sat on the carpet and he had the advantage of having Jimin-like voice, or vice versa. "Get up, my sweet."
Jungkook's eyes shot open and he immediately looked at Jihyun smirking, but then his eyes squinted as he took in two moles on Jihyun's temples, his undercut, that weren't there on Jimin's. "Who the fuck are you?" The boy growled, ready to charge on him as if he somehow got the signal that this man was bad news for his Hyung he was utterly protective of.
"Right, feisty one," Jihyun chuckled while getting up and walking to Jaein. Pulling out a small box, he gave it to the older Jeon. "I hope you wear this tonight."
Jaein accepted the box out of respect and nodded without looking at the man. Jihyun turned around to look at glaring Jungkook one more time. "See you at dinner, little one. Oh, and by the way, Jimin is looking for you."
This caused Jungkook to get up on his feet. Jaein got busy arguing with his parents over the phone while the youngest showered and got ready. Jaein had calmed down after some time when Jungkook left his room to go look for Jimin, as he already knew where he was staying.
Jungkook's eyes fell on the man's back with a group of people and he immediately recognized the silver highlights. He looked at Jimin while he was talking to everyone, giving them importance by listening to them courteously. As he was slowly nearing Jimin, his heart was loud that the voices outside were static when he heard Jimin telling staff to take care of him.
"Hey!"Jungkook yelled and Jimin turned.
They stood face to face. "Tell me, do you like me?" Jungkook had insecurity in his voice. Now that he understood what the real situation was, he thought that Jimin was perhaps diverting him so that Jaien and Jihyun could get together. Jimin stirred his insecurity more and more by the second as he said nothing but smiled. "You are a pussy. Kiss me if you like me." Jungkook suddenly asked as the staff and a few guests looked at them who were passing the corridor.
"That's it? Afraid of these clowns?" Jungkook was agitated about this behavior. Why was he throwing himself at Jimin when the idea behind meeting itself repulsed him so much from the beginning? On the other hand, the thought of the idea might not now be true after all made him more neurotic.
He didn't know what he did on impulse but he was now starting to regret talking to Jimin in front of people like that. Slowly, he turned around. Jimin and he weren't supposed to be together, it was their brothers. He felt a hand on his arm and he was turned around swiftly before he felt soft lips touching his own. What was happening?
As Jungkook realized that Jimin was kissing him, his knees gave up and Jimin broke the kiss, sincerely looking at him.
The small lights in the corridors suddenly turned off and Jungkook closed his eyes. "Please kiss me again." A completely submissive and small voice asked.
"Come to my room."
"You want me to sleep with you now. Hm?" Jungkook teased in the dark.
"I am inviting you because I have something for you to wear at dinner," Jimin replied politely. "But to answer your question, I will... After our wedding."
