Minho navigates his way through the trees as the presence of the intruders starts getting more clearer.

He finally was able to understand how this forest works, the way through it won't be able to be a success if you haven't a fuel of magic yet there's a rejection regions in this forest which doesn't depend on magic, those place were outside the protesting field that consist of a thick layers of magic that alert the forest spirit that there's a danger.

Yuna:"do you feel someone intrude the forest again?"

Unlike Chan who was accepted in a magic region field, these new intruders found their way inside the forest by taking the road that doesn't depend on magic .

Minho can feel them but to be able to detect what they are, he has to get closer to the target.

Minho:"it is still far away but I can feel something powerful...like a magic barrier"

His sensibility wasn't gifted but he owned it by years of training under the Vampire emperor, Sevil. His name gives him an unpleasant feeling from remembering how he resents him and pulls his left eyeball.

Yuna was confused on how come there's someone intruding the forest with magic where she was aware that the only source that magic came from is her own race, the fairy dust is a source for mana.

Yuna:"fairies are the only creatures to release magic as a form of mana, if what you feel is magic then it must be a fairy again"

It was her only conclusion but Minho doubt she was right.

Minho:"no...they are two vampires and a witch...and I don't think they came from the vampire empire"

They were not too far, Minho could see with his sellouts when he closed his right eye, two of them were in the color red which represents the vampires while the third one was brownish color and that color is dedicated to humans who attempt to witch craft.

Yuna:"that means they are rogue? Or homeless strays?"

The vampire felt like those intruders have an intentions why they came here and what makes him refuse these theories that the fairy is suggesting is out of the way those people were able to cross this forest using the rejecting region which means that they already have a knowledge on how this forest works.

Minho:"we're going to find out"

Minho can't let that happen and would update this malfunction to the forest spirit as soon as he's done with resenting those intruders away.

The forest must be kept protected or his soulmate and the fairies would be in danger.

As they were getting closer, Yuna already started having a bad feeling and immediately knew the nature of these intruders as she tugged Minho's sleeve shirt to prevent him from going even further.

Yuna:"Minho Minho... don't go... they-they... came from the human kingdom"

The vampire know in instant that he shouldn't let Yuna near him since there other vampires that could scent her from this distance and since they are from the human kingdom which only means that she's in danger if they fall into their hands so the only way he can do this without any troubles is to sent Yuna back from where they came from.

Minho:"yuna go back"

With a firm tone, he looked at her with a serious gaze, a gaze she never saw him pull before... There was so much to know about the vampire, so many secrets he kept to himself and it was what built this defensive aura around him.

Yuna:"wha-"

Minho:"go back to the meeting spot and if I took too long to come back then tell the boys I already left home which would buy me some time to get rid of them"

This wasn't the vampire she knows, it was another Minho... A Minho that could do anything to save her and the others.

They were all wrong about him, the vampire was never weak, he was never fragile... Minho had always been strong.

Yuna:"but i-"

Minho:"just do as I say, I'll let you kiss me again if that is worth your lying"

He smiled a little trying to tease her where Yuna immediately glows not getting how Minho can get unserious for a few seconds.

But all that aside she was worried that something bad might happen to him so she flew toward him and hugged him from his cheeks.

Yuna:"be back safe, okay? Jisung would kill me if he knew I let you"

Minho's smile dropped as he remembered Jisung... If he succeeded in kicking those intruders out then all what he wanted for his soulmate to do is to embrace him in a huge cuddle and not let him go until he's asleep which was rare for him to do these because he start regaining his strength and his vampire genes were starting to come back.

Minho:"I'm strong, I'll be back in a matter of little time"

Yuna believed that he was going to fulfill that promise which let her have the courage to leave Minho behind her, she turned out to check on him but he was no longer there.

She hopes he will be back safe.

As Minho starts going toward the way he scents those new people being close.

Just when he was about to step further, he felt someone coming from behind him where he immediately turned around and was met by another vampire who was taller than him in height. Minho stepped back looking at this vampire who didn't recognize him as one of the empires because those eyes weren't in the best shades of crimson and the skin reacted to the sunlight, he knows that those were previously humans.

"HEY, TRIX LOOK WHAT WE FOUND" he yelled gaining the others attention where Minho reacted in an instant and punched the vampire that got pushed backwards by the sudden force he received from Minho but he was fast to gain his balance again and felt angry that he started a fight with him.

Minho saw how the vampire teleported to him in a blink of an eye and came right beside him not giving him the time to process anything and kicked him with triple force sending it to a nearby tree where his body bounced on the wood trunk and fell on the ground.

Minho coughed his blood out as he tried to support himself from the ground, if he was still taking that serum from his emperor then he might take down all these people at once but since he wasn't drinking anything other than animal blood which reduces his ultra powers from that serum, He can't teleport, His sensibility only works in far distance, he can't jump higher than half the height of a tree, he can't use his fangs or fists to attack well.

He now considered himself as a weakling.

Trix:"a real vampire...he must be from the empire" he heard a female voice approaching him along with other two vampires, he immediately stand up from the ground having his pride in line and was able to go further towards her but he was pushed into the tree again with force, the vampire choking him by his neck while he held him captive in his hands.

Minho:"WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS IN THIS FOREST?!"

The three saw how the vampire was trying to reach his hands to free himself from his hold, one vampire won't be enough to capture Minho so the witch made the second vampire go to him and held him from his hands.

Now he can't find a way to break free from them.

He felt useless and ashamed to face Jisung... Maybe he won't ever see his soulmate again.

"do you think he's the Guardian that everyone is talking about" one of the vampires said for Minho to have an idea, the lady hoped that could prevent those three from going further in the forest.

Minho:"THAT'S RIGHT! I'M HIM!! NOW TELL ME WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY FOREST"

Even if it wasn't true, no one knows the Guardian's identity except for the ones who live in the forest and if he might trick them into thinking he's the Guardian but that won't save him from his situation.

He just hopes that they believe him.

Trix:"eeekkkk the queen would be more happy to know that we capture the guardian instead of that useless runaway fairy"

She was talking about Chan, now it confirmed that these people have no good intentions and if Jisung ended up in their hands then he won't be able to handle that very well.

"it would be hard for us to take him like this...we are barely holding him captive" the one who was holding Minho by his neck told the witch who thought for a few minutes before going to her bag to search for something helpful.

Trix:"gladly I brought this"

She brought out a fancy glass bottle and walked back to the hostage and opened it around his nose, Minho was confused at first but he soon realized that smoke cause nausea and dizziness but since his both arms were held captive he couldn't protect his nose and fall for that trick and fall into a deep slumber.

Trix:"he won't be waking up in 3 days, now let's go back to the kingdom"

Jisung and Remy haven't found anything in the road that they are supposed to be searching at, there wasn't anything like a gem necklace around so they decided to go back to the meeting spot experts the first to arrive but to his surprise, he found Yuna already flying there.

Remy:"Yuna? What are you doing here and where is Minho?"

When she asked her sister, the blue fairy panicked for a few seconds before answering her question with an unsure tone.

Even if she doesn't want to lie but Minho told her to do that so it could win him sometime to be able to defeat those, Yuna was aware that Minho doesn't want Jisung and Chan to be in danger which is why he chose to go alone.

Yuna:"uhm...he went back home after he found nothing"

The first one who suspected her sentence was Jisung, the demi-fae know that his soulmate would never do rushy decisions on his own without telling him and felt a bit betrayed too.

Why would Minho want to go back alone? Was there some urgent business in the house? Maybe he forgot the oven on?

Jisung:"that is weird, I thought he would wait for me so we could go back together"

While he was trying to think that maybe Minho has a reason why he left him, Chan showed up with the necklace around his neck and Taeyo sitting on his shoulder.

Chan:"you guys are already here!! Where's Minho?"

He looked left and right looking for a specific silver hair that outstands from afar but he wasn't able to spot the vampire with his eyes.

He approaches Jisung who was having his hand in his hips with two fairies flying over his shoulders, Chan wondered if he heard him or not.

Jisung:"he took the way home...did you find it?"

His eyes went directly to the black gemstone that hanged around Chan's neck, it was big enough for the demi-fae to be able to see the difference between earlier and now.

He watched how the black fairy took a firm hold into the chain and raised it up for the gem to be in the same level as his nose and with a big smile he answered his question.

Chan:"yup, it was stuck between a truck full of spider wep...I'll be able to go back now"

Jisung nodded his head and both took the way to the house again hoping to see Minho there, Chan wanted to thank him for not giving up on helping him get home while Jisung want to embrace his soulmate in hug and understand why would he left without waiting for him.

As they got closer Jisung saw how Chan's back was without wings despite being a fairy, he wondered if the fairy land would accept him like this.

Jisung:"is it okay to go like that?"

Chan touched his shoulders hearing Jisung referring to his wings.

Chan:"I can't grow them back and there's so many fairies without their wings"

It is so unfortunate, his soulmate always loved his big black purple wings but now that he had to go back, Chan doesn't know what his reaction would be.

He put on a sad smile while picturing himself in his soulmate's arms. It would be nice to have it right now.

Jisung:"so do they live?"

The demi-fae thought once a fairy can't grow their wings back then their identity of a fairy would be banished... But Jisung was wrong about his race.

Chan:"well in my situation we do stay alive but if we talk about a rare condition call the heart strike, if a fairy with that illness lost both of their wings then the years that they supposed to live would decrease to the minimum"

Jisung's skin immediately got paler when Chan mentioned his illness that he's suffering from, another information he knew about this is that he shouldn't harm his wings or it means less time with Minho, which is something he's trying to avoid.

Jisung:"u-uhh...i-i see..."

Chan looks like he knows more about fairies stuff than him and Jisung wanted to know more about his illness but he decided to not say anything because he can't let his hopes and dreams be crashed with harsh truths.

The demi-fae wants to believe that he still got some time to spend it with his soulmate.

Chan:"mister Minho?"

Jisung:"moonset? Mister.Minho? Hello Minho?"

They called for him when they entered the house but no response, the whole place was silent and both couldn't feel any presence until Remy noticed her sister acting weird and not speaking any word since they come from the forest.

She knows that Yuna is hiding something.

Remy:"Yuna...are you hiding something?"

Jisung and Chan looked up to the fairies with confused experience, not long ago they joined in their conversation and could notice that Yuna wasn't being her usual self.

Taiyo, the genius one between the three was able to come to the conclusion that her sister has known something about Minho since she went with him.

Taiyo:"yuna knows where minho is...speak it up!!"

Jisung never doubted the yellow's fairly sharp mind so he came along to Yuna as well curious about the place his soulmate is at.

Jisung:"where's my soulmate?"

The thing that wasn't expected was when Yuna started crying after they kept pressuring on her while she couldn't hold herself and confessed.

Yuna:"I don't know...he felt three intruders and went there to defeat them but he isn't back yet"

Minho promised her to be back but he's not here, she believed him but he lied.

She's worried sick about him because she was there when he sacrificed himself for both faes to be safe.

Jisung:"intruders? Impossible...nothing can pass the forest"

Chan:"It is possible, there are regions in this forest which alert the spirit about the intruders but if they go to the rejecting areas then it is possible for someone to step their feet inside, it is not overall protected"

Yuna's eyes got widened when she listened to what Chan said, it was the same thing that Minho told her about the forest and now she can't doubt that this place would be in danger sooner or later and the only barrier that keeps the fairy land away from humans and vampires would be banished in the future.

It was a total nightmare.

Yuna:"and those intruders were also using fairies magic"

She added the information that Minho gave her and Chan immediately lowered his hopes and expectations after hearing that those intruders used magic to cross over the forest.

Chan:"ohh no"

Jisung watched how this conversation about Minho kept getting more negative and negative, he is in the mood to grab Chan from his collar and demand an answer about Minho's safety.

Jisung:"ohh no what? TELL ME THAT MY SOULMATE ISN'T IN DANGER?"

He yelled fighting the urge to tear up in front of everyone, he wanted to cry knowing that he wasn't able to protect his soulmate like he promised himself the first he stepped his feet into this place.

Chan hates that he had to say the words that could crash Jisung at this moment, but the truth needs to be said.

Chan:"I'm afraid he is...if my theory is right then the people that intruded were the ones coming after me. In the human kingdom there's a specific army that is consistent for supernatural creatures or professionals who use magic"

The fairies refused to believe Chan saying that Minho could be a hostage.

He's stronger to be one.

Remy:"you say that Minho was captured by the human kingdom?"

Chan:"It's a possibility...yes"

When it was confirmed, Jisung pushed Chan into the ground where he felt curious that he kept breaking all of the fireflies jars that kept the room lighted to ease the anger he had within him but the only way to do that was by expressing those emotions into someone.

And yelling at Chan was the only option for him right now.

Jisung:"UGH ALL THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE YOU DROPPED YOUR DAMN NECKLACE NOW MY SOULMATE IS IN DANGER BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!!"

Chan felt worse knowing that Minho got himself captured because they had to go search for his necklace, as a knight he was speechless to defend his situation because he used to rely on Minho a lot, viewing him as a caring younger brother.

Chan:"I'm sorry...I'll help you save him... i know the human kingdom very well and there's a high chance he would be taken to the queen"

Jisung:"good, I'll need you to guide me there...we're going to save my soulmate even if that means one of us would die"

Chan nodded ready to do whatever it takes to bring Minho back.

Chan:"I'm ready to take that risk for someone who saved my life"
