After what feels like 8 hours, the other fairy man had finally gained his consciousness, his front blonde bangs falling into his eyes hiding them, his upper body was fully wrapped with bandage as he touched them with his long fingers and hissed when he felt the pain.

he left his gaze from his chest and discovered his surroundings just to be found inside a room where their walls were painted with light red and a dangling pearl vase from above, in the middle situated the bed he was in top of on then he looked around for his eyes to meet blank canvas with art tools, a study desk with a lot and a lot of books either on the floor on top of each other or on the shelves besides each others and there was another corner where poetry stool were displayed and an unfinished statue head stood up from the room.

He wonders where he is, after his wings were cut off from his back he was searching for a way to escape the human kingdom and once he succeeded in doing that, he ended up going through the fairy forest as he heard that it could lead him back to the fae kingdom since it is his only way back there.

He hopes the ones who found him could tell him the way back to the fairy kingdom because his mission was a failure and wasn't able to fulfill his king's wish of finding the thing that was precious to him the most.

He failed as a knight.

Minho:"ohhh...you are finally awake"

The sudden voice filled the silence around the room, his ears picked up the direction of the sources of the voice and found an eye patched vampire coming towards him holding up a tray with a bawl containing what smells like medical herbs and behind him he can see a tiny blue fairy flying around with excitement.

He wonders why a vampire is doing here- specifically in this forest, aren't humans and vampires banned to step their feet in here?? but as far as he knows, the fae king and the vampire emperor had made a truce 7 years ago and they have been in alliance since then when vampires protect fairies from humans while fairies provide them with enough magic they could use for their army force.

But seeing this vampire in front of him, was nothing like he imagined.

Minho placed the tray on the nightstand beside his bed and sat in front of the fairy man at the edge of the bed as he put his hands on top of his chest in the process to change the bandages but his hands were captured by the others before he could do anything.

That startled Minho since he doesn't like anyone touching him except for Jisung but he tries to consume that discomfort since their new guest might be scared in an unfamiliar place so he tries his best to be nice.

"are you the one who saved me?"

Minho looked at the other's fierce grey eyes as he was pulled by them, they were so beautiful and he can spot some faded freckles from the corner of his cheeks, his blonde fluffy curly hair was nothing he had ever seen because they shine against the lights from the window that the sun provides and was impressed by how built he was, his form was more bigger than him.

Minho:"I did...I found you unconscious so I brought you here and treated you, the fairies noticed that you were one of their kinds and couldn't but point out how your wings were ripped off from your back which was a bigger reason to pity you because...I also got my eyes ripped off from their place"

Minho placed his hand on his eye patched as he closed the other eye remembering the day his eyes were ripped off of him. The fairy nodded his head which explains the reason why he was wearing an eye patch because he lost his left eye just like he lost both of his wings, he didn't want to think more about it and turned to the vampire again for answers to his questions.

"i see...introduce yourself...who are you? And what are you doing here in this forest?"

Minho finally got the permission to change the fairy man's bandage and he was being good at it from so many times he had to patch both himself and jisung with bandage of how many battles and risky situations that got them to be injured and not forgetting his past few years in the vampire empire.

In conclusion, Minho was skilled at treating another person's wound.

Minho:"I am Minho and I don't live here alone, I live with my soulmate, he's also a fairy like you but he's not here right now, he would be joining us for dinner tonight"

He was disappointed that Jisung had to go without him again but he tried to understand their situation right now for dealing with a new arrival who has been injured for unknown reasons, The reason why Jisung told him to keep an eye on him while he's out for a hunt.

"I see, thank you for saving me" He listened to what Minho said and nodded his head with being thankful for being saved also Minho was taking care of him the moment he woke up because after Minho was done replacing the old bandages with new ones he immediately brought the ball of the soup and start feeding The other fairy.

Minho:"no need to thank me, I couldn't leave you there by yourself and I was just in your position a while ago...more importantly, can I know your name?"

The fairy stares getting embarrassed by how he was being fed like a baby so he snatch the bawl from Minho's hands and start eating the rest of the soup by himself... And at that moment he swallowed the last sip and turned to the vampire again to introduce himself "My fairy name is creed howl amber neon which is a very long name so you can just call me Chan for short" He gave him a small nod as he told him his name which caught Minho off guard knowing new information about fairies and he couldn't but doubt it.

Minho:"does every fairy have that structure name?"

It was Yuna's turn to shine as she sat on top of Minho's shoulder and was excited to finally introduce herself to him.

Yuna:"yes we do, my name is yulius urin noma anne, all fairies use the first letter of every part and use it for a shorter name"

Minho looks down at her understanding her situation, if she had that long name then Remy and taiyo also have that long name explanation and since his soulmate is a partly fairy too then he also got that naming thing.

Minho:"Jisung as well?!"

Yuna:"no, jisung's name is human since he was born and raised in the human kingdom"

This was new to Minho as he never knew that Jisung lived with humans then it hit him- his soulmate wasn't a full fairy which concludes that there's a high possibility that he actually lived with them but he was curious why he had left.

So many thoughts gathered around his head and made him think of a reason why Jisung left the human kingdom.

Chan:"for how long?"

Yuna:"for seven years"

Okay that's long... Jisung was only seven years old when he came here, Minho also remembers him saying that he has been living here for seventeen years so why didn't he think that his soulmate might have gone into the same tragedies that happened to him when he was a kid.

Minho:"he never told me about this"

He won't say he was betrayed but knowing this information about his soulmate from someone other than him felt like ten daggers were stabbing his back- trust is a different topic since him and Jisung are soulmates and they recently start acting like one but deep down Minho know that having something like "trust" the first time in his life was different and he doesn't know how to deal with it.

Yuna:"ohh my dusty dust- I forgot that I shouldn't have told you this"

Chan:"why not?"

Yuna:"I'm sorry but it's not my place to say more"

She left the room after and Chan turned to look at Minho who was fully into his thoughts thinking of how he should be behaving around jisung after he knew about this.

Chan:"didn't you say he was your soulmate? why would he hide such a thing from you?"

That caught his attention and brought him from his thoughts where he looked at Chan with his unsure right eye after hearing that, he really hated when Jisung was still mysterious to him.

Minho wanted to know everything about his soulmate just the same as he wanted jisung to know everything about him.

Minho:"I hide things from him too"

Chan didn't want to say more because it wasn't in his place since both were total strangers from him and he doesn't want to interfere in their business more, so his eyes drift to the status at the poetry stool and decided to approach it so he could change the topic and have another conversation with Minho.

Chan:"do you do poetry in your free time?"

He said putting his hand on top of the almost finished piece for the vampire to walk behind him his eyes not escaping the head statue of Jisung that is so much similar to him, he walked closer and fixed his hand on the head cheek where he rubbed his thumb against it eyes, Minho blushed looking at it feeling overwhelmed that he was finally able to sculpt his soulmate.

Minho:"I had stopped a long time ago but my soulmate was so pretty that I couldn't hold the urge to sculpt him and that led me to attempt so many fails until I was able to do this one"

Chan listened carefully to what Minho said as he looked at the statue very impressed by his skills and it could take years for someone to be able to do such a fine job, he smiled knowing that Minho got someone special for him.

Chan:"when will he be back?"

Minho turned around to look at him with wide eyes then checked the clock on his study desk where he smiled knowing his soulmate's arrival was soon.

Minho:"he would be back in less than two hours and in the meantime...help me in the kitchen"

Chan:"ki-kitchen?"
