1. Defend your Clan and Clanmates, even at the cost of your life. Loyalty to the Clan you serve is most important.

2. Taking a mate from another Clan is not encouraged, but acceptable. It will be up to the parents to decide whether to move into the same Clan together or remain separated. Kits will visit their other parents' Clan every moon should they remain separate.

3. Even in heated battles, targeting queens, kits, or veterans is forbidden as it is dishonorable and cruel.

4. AzureClan is to be respected and their visions heeded. They are the ancestors of the Clans and their words are as good as the warrior code itself.

5. No cat may apprentice a cat younger than at least six moons for any reason, ever.

6. Newly appointed warriors will visit Moonclaw Cavern, where they will be accepted into their new rank by AzureClan. They will take the next day to rest and reflect on the events of this meeting.

7. A leader must always have an advisor, and while this cat will not succeed them outside of special circumstances, they may take charge while the leader is absent.

8. Should an advisor or heir die, a replacement must be found and named before sunrise the next day. If there are no living kin of the leader to become the next heir, the leader may choose whoever they see fit to fill this spot.

9. If multiple cats feel that a leader is failing in their duties, they may call a meeting about it and hold a vote about replacing them. AzureClan has the right to strip lives from cruel and unjust leaders without meetings or warnings.

10. All Clans must participate in the Newmoon Gathering that takes place every full moon. This is a time for the Clans to gather, share news, and be merry, so fighting and refusing to come are not allowed.

11. Boundaries should be patrolled and marked regularly, though this does not have to mean unnecessary hostility towards other cats.

12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan or an outsider.

13. A warrior rejects the life of a twoleg pet, but it is not unacceptable to eat their food on long journeys away from the Clans.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles unless it is absolutely necessary for self-defence. The lives of cats both outside and inside the code should be valued and protected.

15. A Clan has every right to choose to allow outsiders into their ranks but said outsider must prove their loyalty before becoming a full warrior. Your Clan leader's word is law.
