After the group had finished interviewing the two they set off into the night promising to be back the very next morning advising the brothers to stay hidden till then, Eddie's idea of a hiding place seemed to be lying in the boat covered by the tarp. While (Y/n) hides in one of the corners of the room considering how cramped the boat would have been otherwise.

(Y/n) remained still staring at the ceiling before a rucks had grabbed his attention, looking back over to the boat he noticed Eddie had stepped out of it and rushed over to the window with the broken bottle still in hand.

"Eddie, what the hell are you doing?" (Y/n) asked standing up from his spot and watching his brother scan the area. "I thought I heard something..." That was all he said before he was cut off by a loud bang causing both boys to jump back in fear.

"Delivery service!" Dustin says holding up some plastic bags, while Steve gave a little wave, which after letting out a sigh of relief causes (Y/n) to laugh. "Maybe next time give us a warning, bud." (Y/n) says walking over to Dustin and grabbing the bags muttering a small thank you as he placed them down on the floor. Looking through them he handed Eddie a box of cereal which the other immediately ripped open and began shoving the cereal into his mouth.

"So we got, uh, some good news and some bad news. How do you prefer it?" Dustin asked once both Eddie and (Y/n) had sat down side by side. "Bad news first, always," Eddie says with his mouth full before he chucks down some Yahoo.

"Ugh, Ozzy, please no talking with food in your mouth." (Y/n) winced looking away from his brother who muttered a small sorry. "All right. Bad news. We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebo, and they're definitely looking for you guys." Dustin explains.

"Also, they're, uh, pretty convinced you two killed Chrissy," Dustin adds before Max jumps in. "Like, 100% kind of convinced. There is some debate going around, as they are still deciding who the accomplice is, but they seem dead set on the fact that both of you were there." Max finished watching as (Y/n) sighs, taking the box of cereal away from Eddie, and starts to take his own share of the cereal.

"And the good news?" Eddie asked raising an eyebrow at his brother who was shoving the cereal into his mouth faster than he had done. "Woah, woah, slow down your gonna choke." He warns, making (Y/n) stare him directly in the eyes as he shoved another handful into his mouth.

"Yeahhh, stress eating, message received." He mutters holding his hands up as he backs off. "Well, the good news is that your names haven't gone public yet," Robin says answering Eddie's previous question.

"But if we found out about you two, it's a matter of time before others do. And once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother are gonna be gunning for you two." Robin rambles on as Eddie stops to think for a bit, while (Y/n) picks up speed on chowing down the cereal. "Hunt the freak, right?" Eddie asked.

"Exactly," Robin says not being able to do much to sugarcoat such a statement. "Shit..." Eddie says hiding his face in his hands.

"But! Before that happens, we need to find Vecna, kill him, and prove both of your innocence!" Dustin says trying to bring their spirits back up but it didn't work as Eddie yanked the box of cereal back from his brother's hand, glaring at the other when he tried to snatch it back. "That's all, Dustin? That's all?" Eddie asked sarcastically as he closed the box handing it to Robin, who hesitated to grab it as she watched (Y/n) pout from the sudden loss of its comfort.

"Yeah, no, that's pretty much it," Dustin says, clearly not seeing any flaw in his plan. "Listen, Eddie, I know everything Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but we've actually been through this before," Robin explains as (Y/n) looks back at her with wide eyes.

"I mean, they have a...a few times, and... and I have once. Mine was more human-flesh-based, theirs was more smoke-related, but the bottom line is, collectively, I really feel like we got this." Robin rambled on as the brothers nodded along to her words, only to turn their heads when Steve spoke up. "Yeah, see, we usually rely on this girl who has superpowers. But, uh, those went bye-bye, so..." Steve begins only cutting himself off as he tried to find the proper words for his own train of thought.

"So we're technically in more of the-" Robin tries to jump in but also fails to find the words as she and Steve begin to stumble over words. "Kind of, brainstorming phase." Max finishes off as the rest of the group voiced their agreement, only leaving the brothers to look at them still a bit skeptical about their words.

"There... There's nothing to worry about." Dustin says trying his best to reassure the two that they were far from the danger. "Nothing to worry about?" (Y/n) says in disbelief but was cut off by the sound of wailing sirens.

"Shit," Steve says looking between the two as the group panics. "Tarp. Tarp. Tarp!" Robin says grabbing (Y/n)'s arm and motioning for him to lie down in the boat with Eddie.

"Guess, I finally get to live my lifelong dream of being a sardine." (Y/n) jokes, the sarcasm dripping from his mouth. "Now's not the time to be sarcastic! Eddie cover the boat already!" Steve says rushing to the back of the house and peering through the window as the sound of the tarp alerted him that they had finally been hidden.

"Wow, this boat's actually quite big." (Y/n) mutters under his breath as he seemed to have underestimated the size of the boat. "I told you so," Eddie whispers with a smirk making the other roll his eyes, but the two quickly lay still as they heard the sirens get louder before fading in the distance once more.

"You guys can come out now," Dustin says as the two sat back up, their eyes scanning the area. "Alright, we are all gonna go and follow those cars, while you two stay here. If we're lucky it might be connected to Vecna." Dustin adds as the group nods heading back over to the door.

"Well, if it's related to Vecna then I wouldn't really call it luck," Steve mutters as he trailed behind them closing the door behind him. There were a few seconds of silence between the two that remained before (Y/n) spoke up, "Sooo, is that the Henderson kid you keep talking about?" (Y/n) asked turning just in time to see his brother nod.

"Uh, yeah, that's him." He answered as (Y/n) nods his head. "Nice, nice, seems like a good kid. I can see why you hang around him." (Y/n) says before the room was engulfed in silence once more, making (Y/n) bite his lip as he slipped back into his own thoughts.

"Hey, Eddie..." (Y/n) started causing him to gain Eddie's attention. "I'm sorry you have to go through all this. Or better yet I'm sorry I couldn't really do much to help, it's supposed to be my job to protect you and now we're wanted criminals, I mean how much shitter of a brother could I be." (Y/n) confessed making Eddie shake his head as he stood up.

"No, no, no. I do not want to hear those words out of your mouth again! You have been nothing but the best (N/n)! I mean you use to skip school every time I got sick just to make sure I was okay, you would work late ass shifts just to make sure we had enough money to live, and on top of that you still stayed up with me late at night to help me with my math homework!" Eddie began to rant as he couldn't possibly believe how his brother could ever think of himself as anything less than a good brother. "And don't think I never noticed that when we were low on money you always put me first. Every year I went back with new clothes and supplies while you used the same backpack all throughout high school and your pencils were stubs, you could barely write with them!" Eddie continued pulling out as many memories as possible hoping that each piece of evidence he presented would convince (Y/n) that he was the best.

"I mean... You even gave up on trying to make Adder Agony a real band because you needed to start working more hours to provide for us, if anything I'm the worst brother, I'm a burden..." Eddie finished looking down at the ground in guilt as (Y/n) sprung up from his seat and walked over to Eddie bringing him into a tight hug. "You're not a burden Eddie, you never were, you were just a kid and if I had a chance to go back in time then the only thing I would have done differently was speak up sooner." (Y/n) says as he pulled away from the hug.

"Taking care of you was a gift that I wouldn't trade for the world, I'm so proud of you Eddie, I really am cause you are an amazing person. And I love you so much." (Y/n) adds making Eddie smile as the two felt their eyes tear up. "I love you too, (Y/n)." The two went in for another hug giving each other a tight squeeze before letting go.

"Besides the only way you could be a shitty brother is if you died," Eddie says making (Y/n) roll his eyes. "Yeah, well then you're just lucky that it is almost impossible to get rid of me." (Y/n) says with a smile before going back to walking around the room.

A couple of hours had passed by now and Eddie was hungry yet again, so the two Munsons snuck out of the boat house and made their way into Rick's house. Once they were inside, Eddie went straight to the cabinets and began to rummage through them, while (Y/n) went off on his own searching for some paper and a pen. It didn't take him too long as he found the items and made his way over to the table, taking a seat he quickly began writing stuff down glancing every now and then to see where Eddie was.

"Nope," Eddie says out loud as he closed the drawer moving through the other cabinets. Eventually, he stopped as he came face to face with a can of SpaghettiOs, reaching out to grab it he stared at the can in his hand before closing the cabinet. "Yeah... You'll do." He snorts before walking over to the stove turning it on and heating up the food.

"Hey, Dustin, this is Eddie the Banished. You there?" Eddie asked, over the walkie-talkie, once the food was cooked and walked over to (Y/n). "What are you doing?" Eddie questioned trying to read the words on the page before (Y/n) began to fold it.

"Nothing important just felt like jotting something down." (Y/n) says as he shoves the folded paper into the pocket of his jacket. "Uh, okay, I made some SpaghettiOs if you're still hungry," Eddie says waving the pot in front of him, only for (Y/n) to shake his head.

"No, I'm good, you eat up though. Lord knows how long it's going to be before the group gets back to us." (Y/n) says making Eddie shrug as he walked away to enjoy his food. "Dustin, can you hear me?" Eddie asked once more after realizing that he hadn't gotten a response before.

"Dustinnn?" He asked again stretching out the name as he began to get impatient. "Earth to Dustin." He says once more, but this time (Y/n) turned to look at him raising an eyebrow.

"What are you doing?" (Y/n) asked as Eddie turned around. "Trying to get Dustin to answer us, we're running low on food an-" Eddie starts but ultimately was cut off by the lack of static coming from the walkie-talkie.

"Hey, it's Nancy." A voice (Y/n) didn't recognize but now knew as Nancy spoke. "Wheeler! Hey, um, we're gonna need a food delivery." Eddie says, glad that at least one person had responded, moving to look out the window.

"Like, really soon, unless you want us going out into the world," Eddie adds, ignoring the sound of a chair scraping the floor as (Y/n) stood up walking over to him and taking the walkie-talkie out of his hand. "No. No, no, no. Don't do that. Just stay where you are, and we'll be there as soon as we can." Nancy responded shaking her own head even though the two couldn't see her.

"Relax Nancy, I'm not letting this guy out of my sight, we'll be here when you guys arrive." (Y/n) says trying to reassure the girl that they wouldn't move a muscle. "Uh, this is (Y/n) by the way, nice to meet you or well more like talk to you." (Y/n) adds before Eddie took the walkie-talkie back.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen, um... Can you pick me up a six-pack?" Eddie asked pausing for a bit when he looked at his brother who gave him a disappointed look. "Um, it's not for me... It's for (Y/n)." Eddie lies, sending a smile over to (Y/n) who shook his head and rolled his eyes.

"I told him, it's stupid as shit to be drinking right now but he is very insistent that a cold beer would help calm his jangled nerves." Eddie continued still looking up at his brother who just turns away to face the window completely done with Eddie's antics. "Hey, I'm gonna have to call you back," Nancy says not even bothering to answer the question.

"No, don't you da-Wheeler? Wheeler?" Eddie called out again but was only met with the static that came from the walkie. "God damn it!" Eddie says dropping his head in defeat as he hears his brother snicker in the background.

"Aww, is Ozzy upset he won't get his bottle." (Y/n) teased with a pout making Eddie look up at him. "Really?" He asked watching as (Y/n) only responds with a smile and a shrug.

"Anyway, you got your food so come on, if we stay any longer people are gonna get suspicions." (Y/n) says motioning back to the boat house. "Fine, fine, I'm coming," Eddie says making sure he grabbed all their stuff and the empty soup can.

"Why are you taking the can?" (Y/n) asked stopping his just as they left the house. "I don't know, there's nothing to do over there! I thought maybe we can play a game with this or something." Eddie explained, (Y/n) let out a sigh as he shook his head turning back around and walking away.

By now about another hour had passed and Eddie was throwing small pebbles into the soup can or at least trying to.

"Missed, missed, missed. Wow Eddie you suck." (Y/n) says trying to hold back his laughter as his brother looked up at him clearly annoyed. "You know it would be easier to con-" Eddie started but was quickly cut off by the screech of tires, the two looked at each other with wide eyes before quickly getting down low. Since Eddie was closer to the window he slowly peaked out only to dive back down when he noticed it was Jason and his crew.

"Shit. Shit." He says looking back to (Y/n) and pointing at the walkie-talkie, (Y/n) nods and quickly grabs the bag it was in and pulled it out handing it to Eddie.

"Hey, Dustin, you there?" Eddie asked but he didn't give anyone a chance to respond as he continued, "It's Eddie. You remember me, right?" He asked but there was still no reply.

"Hey. if anyone's there, I really think we might be in a bit of trouble here! Okay? Wheeler?" Eddie continues to ramble as his nerves begin to rise, every now and again he would peek out the window hoping the group would just leave. "Anybody?!" He yelled hitting the side of the walkie but again there was no answer.

"Jesus Christ! Nobody is picking up!" Eddie says turning back over to (Y/n) who lets out a long sigh. "Alright, well, look they have to leave eventually right? So as long as they don't come over here I'm sure we can sit it out." (Y/n) says making Eddie nod his head in agreement.

A couple more hours passed and it was now night, Eddie was once again peaking out the window only to see the car was still there.

"I take that back, I had no idea they would be this persistent." (Y/n) mutters starting to get annoyed with the group. "Dustin? Please. Are... Are you there?" Eddie asked once more his voice a bit shaky as he stands up, listening to the static as he turned around spotting the boat.

"Nevermind," Eddie says as if a new idea had come to mind. "Come on (N/n), help me out here," Eddie says as he starts to untie one of the knots that kept the boat in place.

"Um, are you sure this is a good idea Eddie? It's three against two but if we got out there it's two against literally anyone that finds us!" (Y/n) says walking over to him and handing him the Swiss army knife. "Yeah, well I'd rather take that chance than stay here with those guys. One of them has a crowbar (Y/n), a crowbar!" Eddie shouts as he cuts the rope off looking back at (Y/n).

"Um, you know what, maybe getting out of here isn't a bad idea." He says stepping onto the boat and grabbing an oar while Eddie grabs the other. After they were both ready the two pushed off and rowing in sync as they tried their best to get as far away as possible.

"Hey, freaks!" A voice yelled out making the two turn to look over at who the voice belonged to. "Where do you think you're going?" The voice asked as they quickly realized it was one of Jason's friends.

"Shit," Eddie says as he quickly scrambles to stand up punching past his brother and trying to start the engine. "Hey, ow! Ozzy, you could have asked me to start it for you!" (Y/n) says as he moves to sit at the front watching his brother struggle to get it started.

"Sorry, no time for that!" Eddie apologized as he noticed the two boys taking off their jackets and getting into the water. "Just come on... You piece of shit!" Eddie yells as the engine roars but still fails to turn on.

"Come on. You gotta help me out here, man." Eddie begs before (Y/n) pulls him away and takes his place. "Here, move, move, I'll do it." (Y/n) says only to get the same results as Eddie.

"Alright, this boat is clearly broken! God Damn useless piece of shit!" (Y/n) yells pulling harder on the string as Jason and his friend drew closer. "Goddamn it!" Both brothers yelled at the same time.

"Jinx." The two say looking at each other before (Y/n) takes a seat and picks up an oar. "It's not working Eddie, we're gonna have to just pray we're faster." Eddie nods picking up his own oar and starts to peddle away, unfortunately for them, Jason was faster. The two stopped peddling and instead, they stood up holding the oars in their hands.

"Hey, stay back, man! Stay back!" Eddie yells waving his oar around in the air almost hitting (Y/n). "Woah, woah, watch where you swing that! You're gonna hit my face." (Y/n) says as Eddie mutters a small sorry, just barely loud enough for him to hear. Jason turns back around to look for his friend yelling about how close they were to catching them, only to have his excitement die down when Patrick was pulled into the water causing Jason to yell his name. Eddie and (Y/n) watched looking just as confused before their expression turned to shock when Patrick's body flew out of the water. The shock caught Eddie off guard causing him to lose his balance as he flailed his arms around trying to catch his balance.

"Careful Eddie, care-" (Y/n) says trying to warn his brother as he grabbed onto Eddie's arm only for Eddie to fall into the water taking him down with him. The two struggle to recover from the shock as they swim to the surface just in time to see Patrick's body contorting just like Chrissy's had before it fell back down. Jason stood there in shock while (Y/n) took this as an opportunity to usher Eddie back onto the boat and paddle away.
