In the days following Eddie's release from the hospital, the news was having a field day with the new 'break in the case'.

(Y/n) Munson confesses to the murder of young teen Chrissy Cunningham.

Was on every news channel, no matter which one you switch to it was always there.

30-year-old, (Y/n) Munson, wrote a confession note shortly before the earthquake. It is presumed that he was about to confess to the crime to spare his younger brother, Edward Munson. Who has revealed that he had been manipulated into bringing Chrissy to the Munson home. The details are classified as of right now but from what the police have released there was a clear case that (Y/n) was mentally insane and even abused the younger Munson into doing some drug work for him. For now, the police are working on finding (Y/n) Munson, who went missing when the earthquake struck, many presume him to be dead like many of the missing victims.

Suddenly the TV was shut down and Eddie turned around to look at Steve, who had the remote in his hand.

"You know you shouldn't be watching that, it's already bad enough they have you lying about your brother, don't torture yourself by listening to what they are going to say about him," Steve says tossing the remote onto the couch, making Eddie roll his eyes. "Sorry, Mom, I was just hoping that there was something good on. But it looks like the news stations have taken over." Eddie mutters, making Steve chuckle as he heads over to the kitchen.

"You hungry yet? I can make us something small to eat." Steve offers as Eddie shakes his head. "I'm all good, if anything I'll just make a sandwich," Eddie answered as Steve nods.

"Alright, but make sure you eat something at least-" Steve starts but is cut off by a knock at the door making him sigh. "Coming!" He yells as he makes his way over to the door and opens it, Jasper stood there in the doorway.

"Oh, Jasper, what can I do for you?" Steve asked as Jasper smiled. "Yeah, sorry to interrupt Steve, but Wayne told me Eddie was staying here?" Steve nods stepping aside to open the door even wider letting Jasper in who said a small thank you. Eddie stood up from the couch when he heard Jasper's name and walked over a smile on his face,

"Hey, Jasper, what's up man?" He asked as Jasper pulled him into a hug. "Nothing much came to check up on you is all, Slyvia and Calvin are a bit busy at the moment so I thought I'd stop by really quick. I needed a break from the news and reporters." Jasper explains as the group moves back onto the couch.

"I hear you, Steve won't let me watch the TV or go outside," Eddie says with a dramatic pout making Jasper laugh. "Well sounds like Steve is doing a great job, it's not good for your mind kid, besides I would have done the same if you stayed at mine," Jasper says but Eddie kept pouting.

"I'm 20! Just because you're 10 years older does not mean I am still a kid." Eddie adds this time both Steve and Jasper were laughing. "Nah, you'll always be a kid to me," Jasper says his hand reaching over and messing up Eddie's hair. Eddie quickly swatted Jasper's hand away before fixing his hair glaring at the other.

"Man, it's still weird to think how much you've grown, last time we saw you, you were 4 and then we got to see you more when you turned 8, and now you're 20. Hell, three years ago you were 17 watching all of us perform at The Hideout, I mean it unbelieve..." Jasper says muttering the last part to himself as Eddie smiles. "Yeah, I remember that day, I had to beg (Y/n) to take me down there and in the end, Wayne ended up joining all of us and taking us out for pizza."

1983

Eddie watched as (Y/n) rushed around the trailer looking for his boot, the male frantically sifting through all the other shoes on the floor.

"Oh come on!" He shouts throwing a sneaker down to the ground, a huge slam could be heard as it makes contact with the ground, Eddie flinched making (Y/n) sigh as he turned around, looking at Eddie his face softened. "Shit, sorry Ozzy, I didn't mean for it to... you know, um, I'm running late so if you know where my boots are that would be great." (Y/n) apologized turning back to his closet and rummaging through it again.

"It's fine, but you still call me that?" Eddie asked raising an eyebrow with a slight smile. "Well yeah, I thought you liked the nickname, but if you're going to tell me you're too 'old' for it then I'll stop." (Y/n) says closing the closet and walking out of the room, his brother following close by.

"What! No, I-I still like it, you just haven't used it that often so I thought we were done with it." Eddie explains making (Y/n) stop in his tracks and turn to look at him. "I haven't? Huh? I guess I used it more in my head then... I could have sworn I left them here!" (Y/n) starts before quickly changing the subject back to his boots, making Eddie laugh, just then Wayne popped out from Eddie's room holding the missing pair.

"Are these the boots you're tearing up our house to find?" Wayne asked as the boys turn towards him, (Y/n) then turns to Eddie glaring at him with his arms across his chest. "Oh, right, I might have borrowed them for a bit." Eddie let out a nervous chuckle as he smiled at (Y/n), who let out a sigh before grabbing them from their uncle.

"Thanks, Wayne and you better go through your closet and make sure you have returned all of my things." (Y/n) says slipping on the boots and tying up the laces. "Aww, what nooo, I wanted to go with you!" Eddie protests as (Y/n) stood up shaking his head.

"No way, you are way too young, and I'm gonna be up on stage I won't be able to watch you." (Y/n) says disappearing into his room once more, this time Eddie turned to Wayne with a pout, "Wayne, please, please, please, please, can I go! I'm 17 for crying out loud, (Y/n)'s just being dramatic!" Eddie begs, making (Y/n) roll his eyes. "You call it dramatic, I call it being protective like a good brother should be!" (Y/n) called out from his room, Wayne sighs as he looks up at the ceiling shaking his head.

"(Y/n) come on it'll only be for one night, you can even sit him at a table by the front, you'll still be able to see him won't you?" Wayne asked, Eddie perks up at the question with hope in his eyes as he turned to look at his brother's door. "Wayne it's not him I don't trust, it's the people who hang out there. Most of them are drunken bozos and I'm not gonna leave Eddie alone with them, a fight could break out and Eds could get caught in the middle of it!" (Y/n) refutes, Eddie's hope diminished as a frown appears on his face, slowly he drags himself to the couch and throws himself onto it trying to be as dramatic as possible.

(Y/n) always did this, he always thought of the worst-case scenarios, Eddie did appreciate his brother's concerns but it didn't make it any less annoying. After all, Eddie wasn't made out of glass he could handle his own, or at least that's what he would like to think.

"(Y/n) I think you're being a little too paranoid, but what about if I go? Will you let Eddie go?" Wayne negotiated, watching as his nephew popped his head out of the door looking at him, then Eddie, and then right back to him. "Ugh! Fine! Eddie can go if you do..." (Y/n) says only to find himself smiling, as Eddie shoots up from the couch and starts celebrating, making both him and Wayne laugh.

"But you better hurry, Slyvia's gonna be here soon to pick me up, Wayne will just follow behind us in his car." (Y/n) says walking back out of the room with his guitar, Eddie nods and darts over to his room to get ready.

Slyvia came within the next few minutes and the group left heading for The Hideout, it took them a bit to get set up but eventually, the group was ready.

Eddie sat there on the edge of his seat, excitement coursing through his veins, sure he had heard his brother sing and play guitar before but that was in Slyvia's basement where they had just been doing it for fun.

But now (Y/n) was trying to get his band's name out there, it wasn't much considering they were still working on their own music but for the most part, they played existing songs at gigs in hopes of gaining some attention.

Looking out into the small crowd Eddie could see about 3 drunks and two ladies, not too bad if you take into consideration (Y/n)'s description of the place. But eventually, Eddie's head snapped back to the stage as the music began, Slyvia was the first one to start playing, as she was the drummer, and the rest then joined in shortly after.

(Y/n) stood still in front of the microphone, his guitar pick in hand as he prepared for his entrance, a smile plastered on his face as he looked over at Eddie.

Eddie watched in awe as the song ended, (Y/n) looked like a natural up there, like he was meant for the spotlight. It wouldn't take much thought on Eddie's part to imagine his older brother playing up on a big stage with his group, the amount of energy they all put on the cramped stage made him wonder what the group could actually do if they had the room to move about. It also made Eddie realize that he wanted to be up there as well, he wanted to be up there playing the guitar and rocking out in front of crowds no matter how small, maybe he could even be up there playing with (Y/n).

"So what did you think Eddie?" Jasper asked standing next to (Y/n), whose arm rested on his shoulder. "That was amazing! You guys looked so cool up there!" Eddie praised making the group smile.

"Aww, thanks, little man! We're glad you liked it."

Present

"That was a good day," Eddie says with a smile as Jasper nods, the group then continued to talk before Eddie got a little bit curious, he began to wonder if there were any stories Jasper might have that he hadn't yet heard.

"Say, Jasper, if you don't mind, can you tell me some stories about (Y/n)? I know it's kinda hard since the two of us were practically glued to each other but there's gotta be at least one story right?" Eddie asked making Jasper pause for a bit as he started to think. "Yeah there is one, it was just before this town went to shit."

1986

Jasper was sitting on (Y/n) bed watching as the male began to strum on his guitar, his eyes fixated on the chords as he glanced at the sheet of paper next to him.

"(N/n), I love that you're invested in learning this song but I'm bored. Can we please do something, I came here thinking we could do something besides watch you practice," Jasper complains laying down on the bed. "Sorry Jasp, but I need to get this song down, spring break is almost coming." (Y/n) explains which only made Jasper even more confused.

"So what does that have to do with anything?" He asked making (Y/n) stop as he looks up at him. "Eddie has been obsessed with this song ever since it came out, I've heard him practice it every chance he gets, and when I started teaching him I promised him that one day we could play together. But then, Wayne needed more help around the house, and with money, we never did get to play anything." (Y/n) explains placing the guitar back on its stand and heading to the bed lying down next to the other.

"So, I picked up extra shifts so that I could ask my boss for the week off, I'm gonna spend it with Eddie and surprise him by learning the song." (Y/n) finishes it as he wraps his arms around Jasper, pulling him close watching the smile grow on his face. "You're such a dork, Eddie's lucky to have a brother like you," Jasper adds, moving to place a kiss on (Y/n)'s nose, making the other chuckle.

"Oh please, you praise me too much, I'm lucky to have Eddie as my brother." (Y/n) refutes making Jasper shake his head. "You're too humble! You need to learn to take a damn compliment." Jasper says burying his head into (Y/n)'s chest.

"Hey, it's better than being arrogant and conceited, isn't it?" (Y/n) asked only for Jasper to sigh. "I guess you're right, but my point still stands!" Jasper shouts making the others laugh.

"It sure does Doll, it sure does." Jasper looks up with a smile and a slight blush as he lightly punched (Y/n) shoulder. "I told you not to call me that doofus."

"Awww, why not? You know you like it, your face gives it away." (Y/n) chuckles making Jasper's face turn a brighter shade of pink. "Oh hush, just for that, I get to wear one of your jackets for the week!" Jasper says, pulling away as he stands up to look through (Y/n)'s closet.

"Fine by me, I like seeing you in my clothes." (Y/n) smirked as he sat back up, Jasper whipped his head around to look at him, his mouth opening and closing as he tried to think of something to say. "I hate you." Was all that came out but (Y/n) smiled nonetheless.

"Love you too, Doll."

Present

Both Eddie and Steve looked over at Jasper in shock as the other only smiled looking down at the ring on his finger, Eddie knew that one used to belong to (Y/n) he use to wear it all the time, but he stopped wearing it around the fall of 1981.

It struck Eddie as odd since (Y/n) adored that ring, but whenever he asked about it (Y/n) simply said he had lost it, but here it was all this time on Jasper's finger. How Eddie hadn't noticed before was beyond him but I guess everything made sense now.

"We were planning to tell you and Wayne over the break, but you know what happened, he really cared for you Eddie. More than I can ever describe, the stories don't even do it justice but I'll keep telling them if it helps you understand even a fraction of his love. I should know I was lucky enough to experience it even if it was only for 6 years." Jasper explains this time the tears wield up in both their eyes as they smiled at each other, Eddie had been wrong he had lost his brother, the group had lost their best friend, and Jasper lost his lover.

"Thank you, Jasper, I guess this makes you my brother-in-law then?" Eddie joked laughing through his tears which Jasper joined in nodding his head. "Yeah, I guess it does, but remember I am here for you okay? And if you can't reach me then you have Slyvia and Calvin." Eddie nods pulling Jasper into a tight hug, Steve smiling at the scene before him, it was lovely but very awkward considering he didn't know (Y/n) on a personal level.

"Alright well I need to get going, you two enjoy the rest of your day and I'll see you all around yeah?" Jasper says as he pulls away from the hug wiping his tears, Eddie nods. "Yeah, well see you around."

It was now late at night, and Eddie laid awake in the spare bedroom of Steve's house staring up at the ceiling. The house was a little too quiet, as a mix of fear, regret, guilt, and sadness mixed in his mind while he thought back on the day. Was it all his fault? Was (Y/n) dead because of him? Because he didn't listen to (Y/n) rule about not bringing any clients home? What would have happened if he told Chrissy to meet him somewhere else? Would (Y/n) still be here? Would he have gotten to see Jasper again?

Eddie wasn't quite sure but he quickly pushed it to the back of his mind, it was too late to be thinking about that and what's done is done, Eddie just needed to accept that. Closing his eyes he drifted back to sleep as the events of that day replayed it's self like a movie.

(A/n): Okay we have officially reached the last chapter from Eddie's point of view, In the next chapter we will be going back in time to March 21, 1986, and see season 4 from (Y/n)'s point of view, I hope everyone who has been reading has enjoyed the story so far and have a good day/night/afternoon!
