Mumbai, Maharashtra!

Sitting on the couch of a luxurious hall a guy in his early twenties was sitting tieing his shoelaces, dressed in a plain black t shirt which white jean paired up with white Sneakers. His messy hairs were making him look more hot and adorable...

"Ho gaya Apni date ke lie ready Manu puttar??" Asked an old man who was watching his grandson getting ready for his "date" while sitting on the another couch...

"Yepp Dadu, all set" the guy urf Manik answered getting up from the couch while grinning at his Dadu...

"Bahut sohna lag Raha h" His Dadu spoke showing thumbs up making him grin..

"So, any advice Dadu??" Manik asked raising his eyebrow looking at his Dadu, to which he (Dadu) smiled and Patting his head spoke "Give love, don't expect it back, baki charms toh tune mujhse hi inherit kie h, so ladki Ainvey hi fida ho jani h" Manik chuckled at his Dadu and touching his feet once moved out of the House for his "date" Ummm correction "blind date"!!

In the another house of the same city, the scene was nothing different. A girl was closing the strap of her heels which were not so high, dressed in a simple yet beautiful yellow frock paired up with diamond star studs, a charm bracelet in her left hand, her long hair open looking simple yet elegant was sitting on the couch placed in the hall...

"Nandu, kam se kam aaj Thoda make-up kar leti, or kitni plain dress dali h, kuch toh aacha dalti betu" a lady in her mid forties spoke while arranging the dining table spoke Looking at her daughter who was getting ready for her "date" and according to her (lady) she was dressed quite simple... Nandini looked at her mother and pouted looking at the man sitting beside her who was her father...

"Neelam ji, yaad kijiye jab hum dono first date par gaye the tab Aapne Kitna simple suit pehna tha, still I liked you and fell in love with you and here see we have a beautiful daughter today.. So let her be! My daughter is already a princess and she doesn't need fancy dressed or heavy makeup to impress boys .." Nandini's Father Mr. Prakash Murthy spoke all the time caressing his daughter's head making her smile widely.

"Love You Appa" Nandini exclaimed kissing her appa's cheeks making her parents smile...

"Aacha aacha theek h aab, Nandu Jao tum late ho jauega naa.." Neelam Murthy spoke handling Nandini's mobile to her. Nandini smiled and kissing her mother's cheek moved towards the door but turned when her father called from behind..

"Ji Appa??" She asked. Prakash came forward and kissing her forehead spoke "enjoy your time bacha, have fun but yeah, no hanky panky business allowed.." Nandini first nodded but then whined listening his last sentence at which her parents laughed...

"Kaise parents ho aap log, beti akele date par ja rahi h, Usko jane se RAHE ho, advise de raho ho upar se ye sab" Her parents smiled when Neelam replied "That's coz we trust our Princess, she will never let us down.." Nandini bobbed her head in yes and then kissing both of their cheeks again moved out of the house taking her car keys waving them bye..

Cafe Love: (imaginary name)

The not so big but famous for the couple's cafe... It's interior were beautiful and simple with the theme of love around. Almost all the tables were filled with couples, hand in hand, eyes locked, smile entact on their lips. Love You Like A Love Song by Selena Gomez (currently my fav) was playing in the background making the environment more romantic...

There came Manik Malhotra grabbing attention of many girls and making their guys envy. Manik shaked his head in disbelief and moved towards his table, Table No 14 which was his reservation for the evening.. He took his seat while waiting for his "date" with his back facing the door of the cafe.. Ordering himself a filter coffee he sat there waiting for his blind date, whom he came in contact via a dating app where faces aren't revealed and today came to meet her after chatting for few days...

Soon Nandini too entered in the cafe and looked around impressed with the interiors, as she was coming for the first time here.. She then roamed her eyes everywhere to spot her table or the person.. And spotting the one she was searching for she moved forward.. Reaching near the table 13 she looked at board of reserved place there and knowing it's her table, she sat on it.. Exhaling a deep breath while facing the door of the cafe, she started waiting for "her blind date" Sahil...

(So yeah guys, MaNan are not here to date each other 🥺✌️)

After ten minutes or so a girl entered wearing a white off shoulder knee length dress looking beautiful and moved towards the table no 14.When  Passing by table no 13, Nandini glanced at her before averting her gaze back to the door from where the guy wearing a red t shirt paired up with black jeans entered and came to her...

Table no 14:

Girl:(looking at Manik) Manik Malhotra???

Manik looked up from his mobile listening his name and smiled politely at the girl  before standing up...

Manik: Yepp, Manik Malhotra, and you must be Pooja Banarjee???

Pooja:(smiled) Yeah Pooja here..

Both of them formally gave a quick hug to each other before taking their seats..

Table no. 13:

The same guy came to the table and smiled at Nandini which she reciprocated..

Sahil: Nandini Murthy right??

Nandini:(nodding) Yes and you are Sahil Anand no??

Sahil: Haha Correct...

And they both too gave a quick hug to each other before settling on their seats..

Sahil: Am so sorry Nandini, I made you wait, actually Mumbai traffic sucks...

Nandini:(smiling) Ofcourse I know, Sahil. And don't worry I was quite early I guess...

Sahil: So sweet of you.. Umm order??

Nandini: Yeah...

And then Calling a waiter Sahil placed both of their orders after asking Nandini her preference...

Table no 14:

After placing their order Manik and pooja were sitting looking here n there...

Pooja: Oh by the way, am sorry for getting late..

Manik: Never mind Yaar, I was a bit early...

Pooja: That's  generous of you, otherwise you know what, my ex boyfriend used to argue with me if I get late...  (Biting her tongue) Umm sorry, I had an ex but we are over now. 

Manik: No need, everyone have past ...

Pooja was about to say something when the waiter came to place their orders, to which Manik thanked him with a smile.....

Table no. 13:

Sahil: And you know what, she used to argue with me for this. I mean c'mon yaar I am not responsible for traffic management...

Nandini passed him a smile before taking a sip of her coffee..

Sahil: Am sorry, we should not even discuss her here. So you tell me, although I know you are an intern in a MNC something more? Do you have any ex'es??

Nandini:(chuckled) What? No!!! I never dated anyone...

Sahil: Oh that means am your first date??

Nandini:(nodding) Yepp, first ever...

Sahil: That's a privilege... BTW even I haven't had many ex just one before you...

Nandini sighed before nodding her head...

Table no 14:

Pooja:(sipping her shake) So basically am your first ever date? You never dated?

Manik:(chuckled and sipped his coffee) Got me...

Pooja: Looking at you i didn't thought that you are so Sanskari type's. No offense please!!

Manik:(laughed) None taken! But yeah I am not that type's, it's just that never got connected with anyone...

Pooja: Aww that's sweet..  Waise I too dated only one person before you. He was sweet but *sighs*  never mind...

Manik:(muttered) Yeah, never mind!!

Table no. 13:

Sahil: And then can you believe me, she broke up with me! On this silly topic... That was our 278th umm sorry 279th and the final breakup...

Nandini:(choked on her drink) 279th???

Sahil:(eating sandwich) Yeah...

Nandini chuckled and shakes her head in disbelief before preparing herself for yet another story of his and his ex!!

Table mo. 14:

Pooja: And that was it for me! I broke up with him like finally...

Manik:(muttered) Finally...

Pooja: Yeah... I mean I can't take that shit more no?

Manik: Yeah...

And then Manik's spoon fell down and muttering a sorry he bend down to pick it up when her gaze fell on the person sitting on another table and her eyes widen before shouting "TUM??"  Making Manik jump in fear..

Table no. 13:

Nandini was texting someone excusing herself as it was urgent when Sahil roamed his eyes here n there and when his eyes fell on the person sitting on table no 14, he widen his eyes before shouting "TUM???" making Nandini jump on her place...
