"Ok, so how long has it been?" Stiles asks as they enter the animal clinic

"Weeks. He hasn't gotten back to any of my texts." Scott says

"Has Derek ever returned your texts?" Luisa asks

"Once. Definitely once." He nods, "But this time it felt different. So I went to the loft. The alarm was on. Everything looked okay. But then I found these." He says sliding a container over to them. Stiles digs in and pulls out a bullet casing. "So I sent a picture of it to Deaton. He said that it's the mark of a family of hunters based out of Mexico. The Calaveras."

"What would they want with Derek?"

"You don't think they killed him, do you?" Stiles asks

"I... I don't know." Scott says before turning to Lydia, "That's why you're here."

He slides the container over to her as she sighs. She digs in and takes a handful of them. She pushes the container away as she shuffles the cases in her hands. She shuts her eyes and lets the cases fall onto the table in front of her. She slowly opens her eyes, but stays silent.

"Lydia, what? Is he dead?" Scott asks

"No. But I'm not sure he's alive either."

"What does that mean?" Luisa says

"I don't know. There's something not right. I just... I don't know."

"So if the Calaveras have him, how do we find them?" Stiles says

Scott lifts one of the bullet cases up, "Mexico."

"He's awake. Guys, he's awake." Kira says as she looks down at Scott. The others rush over.

"Scott, you okay?" Stiles asks as he and Kira help him sit up

"Yeah. They don't have him. They don't have Derek."

"We know. But right now, they've got Lydia." Luisa says

"Lydia? What do they want with Lydia?"

"Probably something banshee related?" Anna says as if it were obvious

Scott sighs as he stands up. His eyes bouncing around the room to look for a way out. He then walks over toward the door. The others watch him try to pull the door open as they had a few times before he had woken up.

When Scott sighs and eventually steps back, Kirs walks over, "We already looked for a way out. I think a lot of people have.

"I say when that door opens again, we take out whoever's standing in the way and run for it." Malia says

"What about Lydia?" Kira asks

Malia frowns, "What about her?"

"We're not leaving without her." Stiles says

"Why not?"

"Because we don't leave without people. Remember, we talked about this? Rules of the wild kingdom don't apply to friends."

"Honestly, if we find a way out, I say we just leave her." Anna shrugs

Luisa's eyes widen, "Anna."

"What?"

"Is that what you would do as a coyote, leave her for dead?"

"If she was weak and injured, yeah. If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat her. Then I'd leave." Malia explains

"Mmm. Believe it or not, that's progress." Stiles mutters

"All right, guys, we're not dead yet. And that means Araya wants something." Scott says

"But if the Calaveras don't know where Derek is, that means they didn't take him from the loft. Right?" Kira says

"Maybe he left on his own." Stiles suggests

"Maybe someone else got to him." Scott sighs

Luisa then turns to Ariane, "Ariane?" When her sister looks up at her, Luisa shrugs, "Any plan of action? Or maybe some optimism?"

"The only way out is through that door and I can guarantee there's at least five or six, if not ten, hunters out there waiting to kill us." Ariane says

"Okay, so clearly, Luisa took all of the optimism." Stiles nods

"I'm being realistic." She says, "Araya probably had this entire thing set up the second we walked in here."

"You say that like you know her."

When the Ariane goes silent, Luisa frowns, "Do you?" Ariane sighs confirming Luisa's suspicions, "Oh my god, you do."

"How?" Scott asks

"She's our aunt." Ariane says

"What?" Luisa exclaims

"Why didn't you say anything?" Stiles asks

"Because it doesn't matter." Ariane emphasizes, "The last time I saw her I was 10, I didn't think we'd ever see her again."

"Okay, but you know her." Stiles says, "Can't you negotiate or something?"

"I'm in the same room with you, Stiles. Do you honestly think I can negotiate with her?"

"Okay." Luisa sighs as she runs her hands through her hair

Before anyone can say anything else, the door flies open. Scott tries to prepare himself, but is immediately tased. Ariane jumps as the men point their guns at the teens.

"What do you want?"

"You." Severo says before turning to Ariane and smirking, "And you."

Luisa's eyes go wide as she turns back to her sister. Ariane looks down at her, "It's okay."

"No-"

"Luisa. It's fine. I'll be fine." She says before looking over at Kira, "Just do what they say, okay?"

Ariane turns back to Luisa giving her a nod of reassurance before she looks over at Anna. Anna nods to her reaching forward and grabbing Luisa's hand. Ariane turns back to Severo walking forward with Kira right behind her. Two hunters grab Scott and drag him out before slamming the door shut behind them.

Ariane looks over from her seat as the door opens. Scott looks up as Lydia comes into view. His arms were strapped to the chair as well as Ariane's. The hunters push Lydia into the room and into her own chair before locking her to the chair. Severo pulls Kira over by her arm to a table.

"Let her go. Look... you've got me. Just let the others go." Scott pleads

"Your hand goes here." Severo says to Kira before looking back to Scott, "So, let me explain what's about to happen. This one, the fox, has an immunity to electricity. So she's going to turn the dial on the Alpha. If she doesn't, I turn the dial on the Banshee or your hunter."

"No. I'm not doing this." Kira grunts

"I see. Are you sure? One of your friends has the power to heal. The others? Not so much."

"What are you doing? Is this a game to you?"

"This is a test, lobito." Araya says, "Let's see if you pass. We're going to ask some questions. You answer them, nobody gets hurt. You don't answer, we turn on the dial."

"Do what they say, okay?" Scott says to Kira before nodding, "Whatever they want. I can take it."

"So... We don't know where Derek is. We want to find him as well. You know who took him." Araya says

"What? How would I know that?"

"That doesn't sound like an answer to me."

"We don't know. Why do you think we came here?" Ariane snaps

Araya smirks, "Kira, turn the dial." When Kira hesitates, she nods, "Should we turn the dial on Lydia instead? Or my niece?"

"No, no!" Scott yells, "Do it, Kira. Do it."

"Let's start at one."
