The wolves take turns throwing punches at the Berserker. Anna lands a punch to its face before Liam punches it in the stomach. Peter then hits it and it falls back. He tosses a sharp claw to Malia, "Take him! Aim for the skull."

"Kill it!" Liam says as he and Peter hold the Berserker back, "Kill it now!"

"No, wait! Wait!" Stiles yells running over, "Malia, wait!"

Kira brings her sword up and slices the claw in half making Malia stumble back. Malia breathes heavily as she looks over to Stiles, "It's Scott. It's Scott."

Liam then looks Scott in his eyes. Scott takes this opportunity to push Liam and Peter away. He then punches Malia in the face and shoves Anna into a wall. Scott trudges forward toward Liam who scoots back on his hands.

Kira calls out, "Scott? Scott, don't!"

"Scott, it's me-" Stiles tries before Scott backhands him. Luisa catches Stiles before he lands on the ground.

"Scott, don't!" Luisa yells as he picks Liam up by his shirt

Liam grunts as Scott slams him up against the wall. He grabs at Scott's arm as he chokes him, "Scott." Scott lifts his hand up making Liam panic, "Scott! Scott, listen! Listen! Listen! You're not a monster! You're a Werewolf... like me."

Scott's hand slowly comes down and he releases Liam from his hold. He takes a step back, twisting his neck. He grabs at his face as he stumbles away from everyone. He then reaches down and rips the covering from his hands and stomach. He grabs at the mask on his face again and roars as he rips the mask in half.

"You..." Scott breathes looking at Peter, "The only one who knew as much as Argent about the Berserkers... about the Nagual. You taught Kate. You helped her. All for power."

"For my family's power... to be rightfully inherited by me." Peter says as Malia steps away from him, "Not usurped by some idiot teenage boy so incorruptible, he won't shed the blood of his enemies even when justified. You don't deserve your power. Not power like this."

Peter morphs into his wolf form before roaring. Malia attempts to run over and stop him and he shoves her back into a rock, "Oh, sorry, sweetheart. We'll talk about this later."

As Kira attempts to intervene, Scott yells out, "Kira!"

The girl stops as she turns to her boyfriend. His eyes glow their fiery red as he and Peter begin to circle each other. Peter tilts his head, "You were my Beta first, Scott. It was my bite that changed your life... and my bite that can end it."

"Then end it, Peter. Because you won't get another chance."

Ariane looks around her as she begins shooting at the Berserker again. She watches her aunt walk over to Kate, "Araya!"

"You're next, Araya. I'm coming to kill you next." Kate says

"Come, La Loba. Let me show you how the Calaveras die."

Kate growls at her and takes a few steps towards her. She stops and the gunfire ceases when they hear howling. Ariane looks around and her eyes land on where Derek should've been. Her brows furrow when she finds the spot empty.

She turns back toward her aunt as a black wolf comes into view. The wolf's eyes glow blue before it tackles Kate to the ground. The woman screams out as it bites at her arms and stomach before she pushes it away and crawls off. The wolf stalks toward her as she turns around. As it got closer, it slowly shifted into a human. Derek.

Ariane's shoulders slumped in relief as Derek stared down at Kate.

"You were... you were dead."

"No. I was evolving." He says, "Something you'll never do."

Derek looks over as the Berserker rushes toward him. He dodges its swing before he grabs it by their head. He grunts as he squeezes until it explodes. Leaving only the mask and covering in its place.

Kate then jumps up and tries to rush away before another gunshot is heard. Kate flies back onto the ground with a grunt. She looks over her shoulder, "Chris?"

Her brother stares back at her with a solemn expression. The woman then jumps up again and runs off.

The teens watch as Scott attempts to fight back against Peter. It seemed Peter was a step ahead of the Alpha when he uppercuts him. Scott flips away before Peter growls. Peter swings at him and Scott blocks before Peter brings his other hand around and punches Scott in his jaw.

"Come on, Scott!" Peter says, "Come on!"

Scott swings and Peter blocks him before punching him in his stomach and throwing him into a wall. He grabs him again and throws him into another wall, "Pathetic. Fight like an Alpha, Scott!"

He grabs him again and slams him into a wall. Scott pushes back and uses another wall as leverage to twist them before throwing Peter into a wall. He then punches him twice in his chest before picking him up again.

Peter grabs a hold of his shirt before head butting him making Scott stumble. Peter then punches Scott in his stomach and face before kicking him in his leg, bringing Scott to his knee.

"You want to defeat me? You're going to have to kill me!" Peter says before throwing Scott into a corner.

As Scott lands on the floor, Liam takes a step forward. Peter turns toward him quickly before picking up an old bench and tossing it at him. Liam turns away as the bench barely misses him and hits the wall.

Scott stands slowly as Peter growls. Peter swings at Scott again, but Scott blocks. Scott blocks the next few punches from the man before ducking and punching him in his stomach. Peter stumbles back before Scott uppercuts him and sends him flying over a stone table.

Scott jumps onto the table and stands to his full height, "You were never an Alpha, Peter... But you were always a monster."

Peter growls and attempts to get up again. Scott wastes no time in jumping off the table and punching him in his face. Successfully knocking the man out.

It was a little while later that the teens finally came out of the church and the gunfire outside had stopped.

"There's enough yellow wolfsbane to keep Peter out for the trip back, but be careful." Argent says

"You're really going with them?" Scott asks

"I made a deal with the Calaveras weeks ago. They'll leave you alone. All of you. But only if I help them catch Kate."

"What if you can't?" Kira asks

"I'll find her. Someone has to." He says before turning away

Ariane's eyes land on her aunt. The woman nods earning a small nod back from the younger woman. Ariane then turns as Derek walks over to her. He smiles, "You okay?"

She shrugs, "I'm fine. As long as everyone else is."

Derek nods, "Figured as much."

Ariane's brows raise as she looks over to Luisa. Her sister wrapped up in Anna's arms as she and her friends checked on each other.

"She's gonna be worse than me." She says, "I hate seeing her in these situations knowing anything can happen to her."

"You don't think she feels the same way about you?"

Ariane frowns, "She doesn't need to. I take care of her."

"Doesn't mean she doesn't care. Anything can happen to you too."

Ariane rolls her eyes, "I'm gonna go back to not talking to you."

"Okay." Derek chuckles, "Come here."

Derek pulls her closer by her waist and kisses her. Ariane's shoulders relax immensely as her hand falls to his arm. The two pull away a few seconds later and Ariane subconsciously looks over. Luisa smiles wide at her making her sister chuckle and shake her head.
