Luisa walked alongside Scott through the crowd. It was a bonfire for the start of lacrosse season. Scott looked over towards Luisa, "Are you sure you wanna be here?"
"Yeah." Luisa shrugs, "I could use a stress reliever."
Scott nods, "Is this about Anna?"
"How do you know about Anna?"
"Stiles."
"Of course."
"I thought I'd leave you to figure it out yourself." He smiles while she rolls her eyes, "Did you talk to her?"
"I tried." She says, "Didn't go how I wanted it to."
"I'm sorry."
"Not your fault." She smiles lightly looking up at him. She then looks past him, "Malia's here."
Scott turns before the two walk over to the girl. Malia barely notices them as she dances around, "Hey. What are you doing here?
"Getting drunk. What are you doing?" She says
"Trying to make sure no one gets hurt."
"That sounds fun too." Malia nods before taking a sip from her flask
"I don't want to ruin your night or anything, but we kind of can't get drunk."
"What?"
"I think it has something to do with our healing. But, trust me, I've tried. You're not gonna feel anything."
Malia points behind her, "Maybe you should tell him that."
Luisa and Scott watch Liam down his drink. Malia raises her brows and takes another sip from her flask before holding it out to Luisa. Luisa takes it from her taking a long sip before handing it back. Malia smiles before continuing to dance.

Anna huffed as she walked through the crowd of rowdy teens. Each one being more annoying than the next. She didn't know why she was there. The last thing she wanted was to be at a bonfire. But deep down she hoped she would see Luisa. Again, she wasn't exactly sure why.
Her thoughts are interrupted as she gets bumped into again. Anna's jaw clenches as she turns toward them.
"I'm sorry." Adrian smiles, "Oh, hi."
"Hi." Anna says with very little emotion
"I didn't think you'd really be the party type."
"I'm not."
Adrian watches Anna look around, "Are you looking for Luisa?" Anna turns to her. Adrian nods knowingly, "She's here. I saw her a little while ago."
"Cool." Anna nods
Adrian purses her lips with a sigh through her nose, "I think you should talk to her. Like, actually, talk to her."
"I really don't need your advice."
"I know you think you don't-"
"I don't-"
"You do." Adrian says. Anna scoffs, "Because this is a classic case of having feelings and not exploring them."
"Please stop talking."
"Because I've been through it before. It was when I first realized that I liked girls." Adrian nods, "I didn't know how to deal with it and I didn't know what was right or wrong. But if you do like her and care about her, which I know you do because I see it, you should tell her before you lose her."
Anna stays quiet as Adrian's words sink in. The blonde smiles before walking off into the party again.

Anna blinked as she stumbled around the party. Her heart racing as she tried to come up with a reason as to why it was happening. Her eyes land on Scott who stood at a table with Malia, Liam, and Liam's friend, Mason.
As she made her way over, Scott turned to her, "Anna."
"What the hell is going on?"
"What's wrong?"
"I feel drunk, but I haven't had anything to drink."
"Something's happening." Scott mutters before turning to Mason, "We need to get them out of here. I think we're gonna have to, um..."
Mason frowns as Scott looks down at his hands, "How much did you drink?"
"Nothing. Not even a sip." Scott says. Anna sits next to Malia as Scott leans down onto the table. Scott looks around the party before he focuses on the DJ. He shakes his head, "It's not the drinks. It's the music. I have to..." Scott mutters, "I have to turn off the music. Don't let them out of your sight."
Mason nods as Scott stumbles off. Anna's head lulls down as she squeezed her eyes shut. She then feels someone grab her arms roughly.
"Wait... Stop." Mason says, "Hey, what are you doing? These are my friends."
"Your friends are overly intoxicated." The man says, "They need to be escorted out."
"Okay, I'll go with them."
"That won't be necessary."
"I said they're my friends-" Mason tries, but the man shoves him to the ground. Anna, Liam, and Malia are carried out of the party. A few minutes later, Anna grunts as she's thrown to the ground up against the school lockers. Then Scott is thrown down beside her.
"What is that? What are you doing?" Scott slurs
"It's gasoline. Haigh says we gotta burn you." Anna hears before she hears splashing at her feet. She gasps as the gasoline is splashed onto her lap.
The man then kicks Scott back into the lockers before squatting down beside him and flicking on the lighter. The base coming from the speakers outside then suddenly cuts off. Anna's eyes light up as she struggles to sit up. Scott grabs the man's hand and twists it making him groan.
Then, the man is knocked to the ground by a figure appearing at Scott's side. Anna and Scott look over as Ariane and Derek fight off the rest of the guards down the hallway. Ariane turns her gun over in her hand before kicking one of the guards down and hitting him over the head, knocking him out.
Derek and Ariane then walk over to the teens. Scott pants, "What happened to the gun?"
"You're covered in gasoline."
"Oh, yeah." Scott chuckles before Derek helps him stand
Ariane kneels in front of Anna, "Are you okay?"
Anna nods, "I'm fine."
"Where's Luisa?" Ariane asks looking at Anna before looking over at Scott
"She's still at the bonfire." Scott says
"Adrian too." Liam says
Ariane sighs, "Okay, come on."

"Luisa, please drink the water." Adrian pleads. Luisa groans as she pushes the bottle away. Adrian sighs as she looks around. A relieved sigh ripples through her as she spots Anna, "Oh my god. Please help."
Anna approaches slowly. Adrian looks over at her as she gets closer and her nose scrunches, "Why do you smell like gasoline?"
"Long story." Anna mutters
"Okay, well, she's way past her limit and won't drink anything to sober up. I'd take her home, but she can barely speak as it is."
"It's fine. I'll take her." Anna says
"Thank you." Adrian says before reaching for Luisa, "Come on."
Luisa grunts, "I'm fine. I can get home."
"You're definitely not fine." Adrian says as she and Anna carry Luisa by both arms, "And I'd never forgive myself if I let you go home alone like this."
"Call Ariane." Luisa slurs
"You want your sister to see you like this?" Adrian chuckles in disbelief
"She already knows that you're here." Anna says as she pulls her passengers side door open, "And she knows I'm taking you home."
"How?"
"We had a run-in with assassins."
"What?" Adrian gasps, "Is Liam okay?"
"Everyone's fine." Anna grunts as she sets Luisa in the car, "Derek and Ariane showed up."
"Oh." Adrian says, "That's good." Anna shuts the door as she steps back. Adrian turns to her, "Thanks."
"Don't mention it." Anna says as she rounds the front of the car
"You should probably use this time to talk to her, you know?" Adrian says as Anna opens her door
"While she's drunk and will barely remember?"
Adrian shrugs, "You could use it to get whatever feelings you have off of your chest. If you think she won't remember."
"Right." Anna nods before raising her brows, "Later."
"Bye." Adrian says stepping back from the car as it starts

Anna shuts the car off in front of the apartment building. She turns to Luisa who had been quiet the whole ride home. The girl stared off out of the window with dreary eyes. She barely noticed Anna coming around and opening the door for her.
"Come on." Anna says softly unbuckling her seatbelt
Luisa lets her help her out before Anna shuts the door. Anna then wraps Luisa's arm around her shoulders before helping her up to her apartment. Anna pulls out the key Ariane had given her and unlocks the door. She helps Luisa in before shutting and locking the door behind them. She leads Luisa to the room she had been to multiple times.
"Okay." Anna says as she lays Luisa on the bed. She helps the girl get her shoes off before walking off into the kitchen and grabbing a water. She walks back in the room and sets the water on the bedside table before grabbing the mini trashcan Luisa had by her desk and setting it beside her, "Are you gonna be okay?"
"Just fine." Luisa slurs holding her thumb up before her arm flops back down
Anna sighs, "Ariane said she'd be home soon. She just wants to make sure the bonfire is clear of the assassins."
"Cool." Luisa says as she rolls on her side facing Anna. Anna grabs the blanket on the end of her bed and lays it over her. She watches Luisa's eyelashes flutter against her cheeks, "Can I ask you something?"
"You sure you want to while you're drunk?"
Luisa shrugs, "I just want to know why we're not friends anymore."
"We're still friends, Luisa."
"It doesn't feel like it."
Anna lets out a deep sigh as she sits beside her. Luisa looks up at her, "I'm just trying to figure things out."
"Figure what out?"
Anna hesitates, "You mean a lot more to me than I anticipated. I don't know how to deal with that."
"Why can't you just- just let me be there?" Luisa stammers, "I wanna be there."
"It's a lot easier said than done." Anna says tilting her head. Her hand then comes up and brushes hair from Luisa's face, "You probably won't remember this tomorrow, but- I do feel the same way about you. Probably deeper than you do about me."
"Why didn't you tell me when I told you?"
"I was scared. I still am." Anna says rubbing Luisa's cheek softly, "You make me feel things I've never felt before. And it scares me. And when I get scared, I push."
"I didn't mean to scare you." Luisa says as her eyes flutter shut
"I know." Anna mutters
"I don't wanna lose you."
Anna's brows furrow slightly at Luisa's words. Her heart aching in a way that it only can while she's with her. She hears Luisa's breathing even out and her heart rate slow down. Her thumb brushes Luisa's cheek once more.
"You won't."
