(for the sake of this chapter, sam wouldn't be in this chapter, except for ana and dean)
Dean and Ana are dressed like sheriffs. They are talking to a boy and his mother, about what the boy had seen. "I know you're just doing your job, but the police have been here all week already. I don't see why we have to go through this again. The more he tells the story, the more he believes it's true." Mrs. McKay says as he is the boy's mother.
"Mrs. McKay, we know you spoke with the local authorities." Ana says.
"But, uh, this seems like a matter for the state police, so.." Dean says.
"Don't worry about how crazy it sounds, Evan. You just tell us what you saw." Ana says to the little boy.
"I was up late, watching TV. When I heard this weird noise." Evan says.
"What did it sound like?" Ana asks.
"It sounded like....a monster." Evan says as Ana and Dean exchange a look.
"Tell the officers what you were watching on TV." Mrs. McKay tells her son.
"Godzilla Vs. Mothra." Evan says as Dean smiles at the boy.
"That's my favorite, Godzilla movie. It's so much better than the original, huh?" Dean says to the boy excitedly.
"Totally." Evan says with a small smile on his face.
"Yeah." Dean says as he nods towards Ana. "She doesn't even like the movies."
"Yuck!" Evan says a Ana glares at Dean and clears his throat.
"Evan, did you see what this thing was?" Ana asks.
"No, but I saw it grab Mr. Jenkins. It pulled him underneath the car." Evan says.
"Then what?" Ana asks.
"It took him away. I heard the monster leaving. It made this really scary sound." Evan says.
"What did it sound like, Evan?" Ana asks.
"Like this...whining growl." Evan says as Ana and Dean exchange another look.
"Thanks for your time." Ana says.

Ana and Dean are at a bar, Ana is drinking whiskey at a table looking at research, and Dean is nearby throwing darts. "So, local police have now ruled out foul play. Apparently, there are worse signs of a struggle." Ana says.
"Well, they could be right, it could just be a kidnapping. Maybe this isn't our kind of gig." Dean says.
"Yeah, maybe not. Except for this -- John marked the area, Dean." Ana says as Dean comes to the table and looks at his father's journal. "Possible hunting grounds of a phantom attacker."
"Why would he even do that?" Dean asks.
"Well, he found a lot of local folklore about a dark figure that comes out at night. Grabs people, then vanishes. He found this too -- this county has more missing persons per capita than everywhere else in the state." Ana says.
"That is weird." Dean says as he had an arm around Ana. "Hey, don't phantom attackers usually snatch people from their beds? Jenkins was taken from a parking lot." Dean says.
"Uh, there are all kinds. You know, Spring Heeled Jacks, phantom gassers. They take people anywhere, anytime. Look, I don't know if this is our kind of freaky spooky gig either." Ana saays to her boyfriend.
"Yeah, you're right, we should ask around more tomorrow." Dean says.
"Right." Ana says as she takes out her wallet. "I saw a motel about five miles back."
"Whoa, whoa, easy. Let's have another around." Dean says to Ana, as she shook her head.
"We should get an early start." Ana says, as Dean gives her a look.
"Yeah, you really know how to have fun, don't you, Grandma?" Dean says as Ana flipped him off. "Alright, flippy, I'll meet you outside, I gotta take a leak." Dean says as he grabs his coat and heads to the bathroom. Ana gathers her research and leaves.
Ana is walking back to the car. She hears a noise and stops. She places the journal on the hood of the car and takes out a flashlight from her coat pocket. She turns it on and looks around, then bends down to look under the car. She sees a cat, which hisses at her and then runs away.
"Whoa!" Ana says as she laughs at herself. She gets up, shakes her head and then waits by the car.
Minutes later, Dean comes out of the bar and walks to the car. He sees that Ana is missing but notices the journal and Ana's phone on the hood. Dean opens the car door and checks to see if Ana is inside, but she isn't there. Dean looks around, confused of where Ana could have gone.
Moments later a group of people come out of the bar, Dean walks up to a biker and his girlfriend who are clearly drunk.
"Heu, you guys been outside, around here in the last hour or so?" Dean asks as they shake their heads and walk away. "Ana!" Dean yells as he looks around frantically. "Annie!" Dean yells louder, as he turns around and notices a surveillance camera on top of a streetlight. Dean walks into the middle of the deserted road and looks around. "Ana."
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean is in the sheriffs department as Dean sits in front of a deputy named Kathleen, who is looking at Dean's fake ID. "So, what can we do for you, Officer Washington?" Kathleen asks.
"I'm working a persons." Dean says.
"I didn't know the Jenkin's case was being covered by the state police." Kathleen says to Dean.
"Oh, no. No, there's someone else. Actually, it's my sister. We were havin' a few beers last night at this bar down by the highway, and I haven't seen her since." Dean says to Kathleen.
"Does your sister have a drinking problem?" Kathleen asks Dean.
"Ana? Two beers and she's doin' karaoke." Dean says as Kathleen smiles. "No, she wasn't drunk. She was taken." Dean says as Kathleen nods and sits down at her computer. Dean follows her and sits also.
"Alright? What's her name?" Kathleen asks.
"Singer. Anastasia Singer." Dean says.
"Like the movie Anastasia?" Kathleen asks.
"No actually." Dean says, as Kathleen types Ana's name in the computer and brings up her police record. Kathleen observes the page, then clicks on Ana's link and brings up her record.
"Anastasia Singer. So, you know that her father Robert Singer, died in Fort Lauderdale. And Anastasia was suspected of murder." Kathleen says as Daen tries to look nonchalant about the information which was obviously a lie.
"Yeah, Ana. She was kind of the black sheep of the family. Beautiful girl, though." Dean says.
"Uh-huh." Kathleen says as she types something else and brings up more search results on the computer. "Well, she's not showing up in any current field reports."
"Oh, I already have a lead. I saw a surveillance camera by the highway." Dean says.
"Uh-huh. The county traffic camera?" Kathleen asks.
"Yeah. I'm thinking that the camera picked up whatever took her. Or, whoever." Dean says.
"Well, I have access to the traffic cam footage down at the county works department, but -- well, anyhow, let's do this the right way." Kathleen says as she stands up and gets some paperwork from a filing cabinet. "Why don't you fill out a missing persons report and sit tight over here?" Kathleen says as she hands Dean a clipboard.
"Officer, look, uh, she's family. I kind of -- I kind of look out for the girl. You gotta let me go with you." Dean says as Kathleen shakes her head no.
"I'm sorry. I can't do that." Kathleen says to Dean.
"Well, tell me something. Your county has its fair share of missing persons. Any of 'em come back?" Dean asks as Kathleen looks sad. "Ana's my responsibility. And she's comin' back. I'm bringin' her back." Dean says as Kathleen stares at him.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Ana is asleep in a cage, like a wild animal. She jerks awake and observes her surroundings like both her father and Dean had taught her to do if she was ever kidnapped. She rattles the bars of the cage; she then looks around and notices Jenkins asleep in a cage next to her. Ana felt something on her face, as she raised her hand and saw that there was blood, going from the side of her head to her cheek. The side of her face stings from the pain but it isn't like anything she hasn't had before. All she can think of is, if Dean is okay. God, she misses him already. She tries to keep herself calm so that she doesn't freak out and or panic but being caged up isn't exactly calming at all, but Ana's been in worse scenarios than this. So, that is a tiny bit reassuring.
───※ ·❆· ※───
At the county works department, Dean is sitting on a bench outside. He plays with the bracelet that Ana had made what felt like forever ago. Kathleen comes behind Dean, holding printouts of the camera footage.
"Greg." Kathleen says as Dean sees her and stands up. "I think we've got something." Kathleen says as she hands Dean the printouts and he looks at them. "These traffic cams take an image every three seconds, as part of the Amber Alert program. These images were all taken around the time that your sister, Anastasia disappeared."
"This really isn't what I'm looking for." Dean says as he flips through the pictures.
"Just wait, wait -- next one." Kathleen says as Dean turns the page and sees an image of a rusty truck driving. "This one was taken right after Anastasia left the bar. Look at the back end of that thing. Now, look at the plates." Kathleen says as Dean turns another page and sees a close-up image of the truck's license plates.
"Oh, the plates look new. Probably stolen." Dean says.
"So, whoever's driving that rust bucket must be involved." Kathleen says as a beat-up van drives by. Its engine is whining loudly.
"Hear that engine?" Dean asks.
"Yeah." Kathleen says.
"Kind of a whining growl, isn't it?" Dean asks.
"Sure." Kathleen says as Dean stares at the van as it drives away.
"I'll be damned." Dean says to himself.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Ana is trying to kick down the door of her cage, but she fails miserably. Jenkins groans and wakes up more so from Ana kicking the door. Ana rushes over to talk to him through the bars of their cages.
"You're alive." Ana says as Jenkins groans again. "Hey, you okay?" Ana asks.
"Does it look like I'm doin' okay?" Jenkins asks.
"Where are we?" Ana asks the man.
"I don't know. The country, I think. Smells like the country." Jenkins says.
"You're Alvin Jenkins, aren't you?" Ana asks.
"Yeah." Jenkins says as Ana sighs.
"I was lookin' for ya." Ana says.
"Oh, yeah?" Jenkins asks.
"Yeah." Ana says.
"Well, no offense, but this is a piss-poor excuse." Jenkins says.
"Well, my uh, brother's out there right now, too. He's lookin' for us. So--" Ana says.
"So, he's not going to find us. We're in the middle of nowhere." Jenkins says as he nods towards the door leading into the building. "Waiting for them to come back and do God-knows-what to us."
"What are they? Have you seen them?" Ana asks.
"What are you talking about?" Jenkins asks.
"Whatever's got us, what'd they look like?" Ana asks.
"See for yourself." Jenkins says.
The door to the building opens and two men wearing black coats and hats walk in. One man walks over to Jenkins' cage and kicks the side of it. Jenkins moves back into the corner. The other man goes to a panel of buttons attacked to a pole in the middle of the room. He insets a key into the panel and twists it. Jenkins' cage unlocks, and the man enter. "Leave me alone! Don't you take me, leave me alone." The men place a plate of food in front of Jenkins. The leave the cage and walk over to the panel. One of the men twists the key again and removes it, which locks the cage. They leave and Ana sees Jenkins devour his food.
"I'll be damned. They're just people." Ana says to herself.
"Yeah, what'd you expect?" Jenkins asked.
"How often do they feed you?" Ana asks.
"Once a day, and they use that thing over there to open the cage." Jenkins says as he points to the panel.
"And that's the only time you see 'em?" Ana asks.
"So, far. But I'm waitin'." Jenkins says.
"Waitin' for what?" Ana asks.
"Ned Beatty time, man." Jenkins says.
"I think that's the least of your worries right now." Ana says with a small roll of her eyes.
"Oh, yeah?" Jenkins asks the girl.
"Yeah." Ana says.
"What do you think they want, then?" Jenkins asks as Ana reaches through the top of her cage and grabs a long metal wire stretching from the top of the pole to the ground. She tries to pull it down.
"Depends on who they are." Ana says.
"They're a bunch of psycho hillbilly rednecks, if you ask me. Lookin' for love in all the wrong places." Jenkins says as Ana continues to pull the wire. It gradually starts to detach from the pole.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean and Kathleen are in her car driving down the backroads. Okay, next traffic cam is fifty miles from here, and the pickup didn't pass that one, so..." Kathleen says as she points to a passing traffic camera.
"So, it must've pulled off somewhere. I didn't see any other roads here." Dean says.
"Well, a lot of these backwoods properties have their own private roads." Kathleen says.
"Great." Dean says annoyed as he stares out the window.
Just then new information comes up on Kathleen's computer. She clicks the highlighted item and brings up a page about Dean's fake ID. She reads it and looks concerned.
"So, Gregory." Kathleen says as Dean turns to look at her.
"Yeah?" He asks.
"I ran your badge number. It's routine when we're working a case with state police. For accounting purposes and what have you."
"Mhm." Dean humms.
"And un. they just got back to me." Kathleen says as she pulls the car over to the side of the road. "It says here your badge was stolen." She says as Dean looks surprised. "And there's a picture of you." She says as she turns the computer to Dean. There is a picture of a heavy African-American man.
"I lost some weight." Dean says chuckling. "And I got that Michael Jackson skin disease." He says as Kathleen takes off her seatbelt.
"Okay, would you step out of the car, please?" Kathleen asks.
"Look, look, look." Dean says as she stops. "If you wanna arrest me, that's fine. I'll cooperate. I swear. But, first, please -- let me find Ana."
"I don't even know who you are. Or if this Anastasia person is really missing." Kathleen says.
"Look into my eyes and tell me if I'm lying about this." Dean says.
"Identity theft? You're impersonating an officer." Kathleen says.
"Look, here's the thing. Since we were kids, I've felt responsible for her. Like it's my job as it is, as truth is. She isn't my sister; she is my girlfriend. I'm just afraid if we don't find her fast -- please..." Dean says as his voice breaks.
"I'm sorry. You've given me no choice. I have to take you in." Kathleen says as she glances at her visor. Her eye catches a photo of her and another man, smiling. She looks sad and sighs. "After we find Anastasia." She says as she fastens her seatbelt as Dean is confused.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Ana is still trying to pull the metal coil from the beam. "What's your name, again?" Jenkins asked.
"It's Anastasia." Ana says, as even though she hates being called Anastasia, it works for now.
"Why don't you give it up, Annie, there's no way out." Jenkins says.
"Don't...call...me...Annie!" Ana says as she groans and finally tears the coil down. A small piece of metal falls on the floor also.
"What is it?" Jenkins asks as Ana picks it up and looks at it.
"It's a bracket." Ana says.
"Well, thank God, a bracket. Now we've got 'em, huh?" Jenkins says as just then his cage unlocks by itself and opens. "Must've been short." He says as he climbs out of the cage. "Maybe you knocked somethin' loose."
"I think you should get back in there, Jenkins." Ana says.
"What?" Jenkins asks.
"This isn't right." Ana says.
"Don't you wanna get out of here? And see your boyfriend or somethin'?" Jenkins asks.
"Yeah, but that was too easy." Ana says as she would trade anything right now to see Dean, but she knows that if she tries to escape, that she would most likely end up dead. God forbid if something happens to herself.
"Look, I'm gonna get out of here, and I'm gonna send help, okay, don't worry." Jenkins says.
"No, I'm serious, Jenkins -- this might be a trap." Ana says as she sighs.
"Bye, Annie." Jenkins says as he pushes the door open and leaves, as Ana sighs as she leans her head onto the cage, as she was now alone.
"Dean? Where are you, baby? Please?" Ana asks softly even if there is no one around, and or in here. She knows that Dean is doing whatever he can to find her, that's just who he is. He would do the same thing if Sam was in her shoes. Dean would do whatever he can to find his brother.
If only Ana had stayed in the bar, maybe she wouldn't had gotten captured by these hillbilly people. But she was stupid of leaving the bar, even if she couldn't control what happened. She just wishes that she had stayed in the bar.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean and Kathleen are walking back to the car, as they are holding cups of coffee in their hands. "Hey, Officer? Look, I don't mean to press my luck." Dean says.
"Your luck is so pressed right now." Kathleen says.
"Right. I was wondering -- why are you helping me out, anyway? Why don't you just lock me up?" Dean asks.
"My brother, Riley, disappeared three years ago. A lot like Anastasia. We searched for him but -- nothing. I know what it's like to feel responsible for someone, and for them -- Come on. Let's keep at it." Kathleen says as she gets in the car.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The cop and Dean are at the edge of the forest. "Wait, wait, wait -- pull over here." Dean says as Kathleen pulls over and gets out of the car and then they both walk towards the forest. "It's the first turn-off I've seen so far."
"You stay here; I'll check it out." Kathleen says.
"No, way." Dean says.
"Hey." Kathleen says as the two of them stop walking. "You're a civilian, and a felon. I think. I'm not taking you with me."
"You're not goin' without me." Dean says as Kathleen sighs.
"Alright. You promise you won't get involved? You'll let me handle it?" Kathleen asks.
"Yeah, I promise." Dean says
"Shake on it." Kathleen says as she extends her hand to him. Dean shakes it, while they were shaking hands, Kathleen places a set of handcuffs on Dean's arms.
"Oh, come on." Dean says as Kathleen handcuffs Dean to the door handle and starts walking away.
"This is ridiculous, Kathleen. I really think you're gonna need my hep." Dean says.
"I'll manage thank you." She says as she locks the door and walks away.
"The one-time Ana is gone; is the one time I don't have a fucking paper clip." Dean grumbles.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Kathleen is in Jenkins cage. She is wearing a dirty white T-shirt, and her hair is down. She wakes up and groans, massaging her head.
"You alright?" Ana asks.
"Are you Anastasia Singer?" Kathleen asks.
"Yeah." Ana nods her head.
"Your, uh, your boyfriend is looking for you." Kathleen says as Ana sighs as she huffed a laugh.
"Thank God. Where is he?" Ana asks relieved that Dean is okay.
"I uh -- I cuffed him to my car." Kathleen says as Ana sighs. Just then the door opens, and Dean enters, but Kathleen and Ana don't know it's Dean. Dean observes the barn, disgusted. He sees Ana in her cage.
"Ana?" Dean says smiling at seeing that his girlfriend is okay, well, alive that is. That is all that matters. "Are you hurt?"
"Not physically." Ana says.
"Damn, it's good to see you, baby." Dean says, with his smile not leaving his face.
"How'd you get out of the cuffs?" Kathleen asks, as Dean turns around to see her.
"He knows some tricks." Ana says before Dean had the chance of saying anything. Dean points a hand in Ana's direction without even looking at her.
He then moves to the door of the cage and sees the locks. "Oh, these locks look like they're gonna be a bitch." Dean comments.
"Well, there's some kind of automatic control right there." Ana says as she points to the control panel.
"Have you seen 'em?" Dean asks Ana
"Yeah, they're just people. Psycho hillbilly people. But yeah, they're people." Ana says.
"And they jumped you? Must be gettin' a little rusty, kiddo." Dean says to Ana as she just flipped him off again, like she did at the bar. Dean walks over to the control panel and starts trying different buttons. "What do they want?"
"I don't know. They let Jenkins go, but that was some sort of trap. It doesn't make any sense to me." Ana says.
"Well, that's the point. You know, with our usual playmates, there's rule, there's patterns. But with people, they're just crazy." Dean says as Ana couldn't help but agree with that.
"See anything else out there?" Ana asks.
"Uh, he has about a dozen junked cars hidden out back. Plates from all over, so I'm thinkin' that when they take someone, they take their car, too." Dean says.
"Did you see a black Mustang out there? About ten years old?" Kathleen asks.
"Yeah, actually I did." Dean says as Kathleen looks sad. "Your brothers?" Dean asks as she nods. "I'm sorry." He adds. "Let's get you guys out of here, then we'll take care of those bastards." Dean says as he points to the control panel. "This thing takes a key. Key?"
"I don't know, probably." Ana says.
"Alright, I better go find it." Dean says as he goes to leave.
"Hey, baby." Ana says as Dean stops and turns to Ana. "Be careful, please."
"I will, baby. Promise." Dean says as he then leaves.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean is in another dark room in the house. He turns on his flashlight and starts to look around. The room is filled with shelves of jars and bottles, which contained various body parts. Dean looks at a container filled with an unrecognized item.
"Yikes." Dean mutters, as he keeps searching the room and comes across a wall full of Polaroid pictures. Each photo shows Jared and Lee standing next to a dead body. Dean notices a picture of them holding Jenkin's corpse. "I'll say it again -- demons I get. People are crazy." He mutters again as he moves to a flight of stairs and climbs them.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean comes upstairs and looks around the living room, as a record is playing in the background. Dean jumps into a windchime. "What the --" he says as the windchime is made out of bones.
Dean sees a wooden pole leaning against the wall and picks it up. He leans against the wall and makes his way towards the kitchen. He notices a small tray filled with keys on a nearby table. Dean takes a peek inside the kitchen. A man turns around to pick up another butchering tool as Dean turns away. Dean moves towards the tray of keys and starts to pick it up when he notices a jar full of teeth. He examines it, completely disgusted, he then hears the floor creak behind him. He sets the jar down and turns around quickly. A girl who looks to be in her early teen years or so is standing before him.
"Shh. It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you." Dean says as she holds up a knife.
"I know." The girl says as she sticks the knife into Dean's jacket, pinning him against the wall. "Daddy!"
"Jeez!"
"Daddy!" The little girl yells as Dean removes the knife.
Jared and Lee come downstairs. "Daddy!" The little girl says as Jared grabs Dean under his arms. Lee walks behind them, but Dean jumps up and kicks him. Jared throws Dean into the wall, causing the knife to fall to the floor. Lee runs towards Dean, but Dean grabs him first and pushes him to the ground. He then punches Jared but is thrown into the wall again by Lee. All three of them stand up.
"I'm gonna kick your ass first." Dean says pointing to Jared. "Then yours." Dean says as he points to Lee. Just then the older man comes up behind Dean and hits him over the head with a pan. Dean falls to the floor, unconscious.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The Benders are crowded around Dean, who is sitting in a chair with his hands tied behind his back. He wakes up groaning as his head is throbbing from behind hit in the head with the pan.
"Come on. Let's us hunt him." Lee says to the older man.
"Yeah, this one's a fighter. Sure, would be fun to hunt." Jared says as the older man.
"Oh, you gotta to be kidding me. That's what this is about? You -- you yahoos hunt people?" Dean asks.
"You ever killed before?" The older man asks.
"Wh -- " Dean laughs. "Well, that depends on what you mean by that." Dean says.
"I've hunted all my life. Just like my father, his before his. I've hunted deer and bear -- I've even got a cougar once. Oh boy. But the best hunt is human. Oh, there's nothin' like it. Holdin' their life in your hands. Seein' the fear in their eyes just before they go dark. Makes you feel powerful alive." The older man explains.
"You're a sick puppy." Dean says.
"We give 'em a weapon. Give 'em a fightin' chance. It's kind of our tradition passed down, father to son. Of course, only one or two a year. Never enough to bring the law down, we never been that sloppy." The older man says.
"Yeah, well, don't sell yourself short. You're plenty sloppy." Dean says to the older man.
"So, what, with that pretty cop?" The older man says as the little girl looks up at her brother with a smile. "Are you a cop?"
"If I tell you, you promise not to make me into an ash tray?" Dean asks as the older man looks angry. Lee walks over and punches Dean.
"Only reason I don't let my boys take you right here and now is that there's somethin' I need to know." The older man says as he walks over to the fire place and takes a hot poker.
"Yeah, how 'bout it's not nice to marry your sister?" Dean says.
"Tell me -- any of the cops gonna come lookin' for you?" The older man asks Dean.
"Oh, eat me. No, no, no, wait, wait, wait -- you actually might." Dean says as Jared walks over to Dean and holds his head in place.
"You think this is funny?" The older man asks. "You brought this down on my family. Alright, you wanna play games? We'll play some games. Looks like we're gonna have a hunt tonight after all, boys." The older man says, as he turned to Dean. "And you get to pick the animal. The girl or the cop?"
"Okay, wait, wait -- look, nobody's comin' for me, alright? It's just us." Dean says.
"You don't get to choose, I will." The older man says as he places the hot poker on Dean's shirt. Dean screams in pain, as the older man removes the poker.
"Ah, you son of a bitch!" Dean yells as the older man places the poker barely an inch from Dean's eye.
"Next time, I'll take an eye."
"Alright, the girl, the girl!" Dean yells, as Jared let's go of Dean's head, as the older man moves the poker. He takes a key from around his neck and hands it to Lee.
"Lee, go do it. Don't let her out though. Shoot her in the cage." The older man says as Lee walks to the door.
"What? I thought you said you were gonna hunt her. You were gonna give her a chance." Dean says.
"Lee, when you're done with the girl -- shoot the bitch, too." The older man says as Lee nods his head and leaves with his rifle. "Better clean this mess before any more cops come runnin' out here." The older man says as Dean looks scared. Not so much of him, but of Ana.
God of something happens to his princess, he will kill every single one of these people here.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Lee enters and walks over to the control panel; he insets the key and twists it. "What are you doing?" Ana asks as the door to her cage unlocks and Lee walks towards her. Ana notices the bracket on the floor and grabs it. Lee opens the cage door and aims his gun at Ana.
"Hey!" Kathleen says.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean and the three other Benders can hear a gunshot. "You hurt my girlfriend; I'll kill you. I swear. I'll kill you all. I will kill you all!" Dean yells as the older man walks up and walks towards the front door.
"Lee!" The older man yells.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Ana and Lee are both out of the cage. Ana is on top of Lee. She grabs the gun and hits Lee in the face with it three times. Lee collapses on the floor, Ana tries to fire the gun, but it doesn't work.
"Fuck." Ana curses under her breath.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Ana hides behind a bale of hay. Lee and Jared hear a noise. Jared looks around in one area of the room, while the older man climbs a ladder leading to balcony. Kathleen moves to a cabinet, unseen and opens it, but she hears a noise and stops. Jared also hears something. He walks to the cabinet and stands to face it. He fires his rifle several times at the door, but Kathleen does not come out.
Jared opens the cabinet but finds nothing inside but tools. He looks around the barn, but then suddenly Kathleen falls on top of his back. She wraps her legs around his neck and wrestles him before being knocked to the ground. Meanwhile, the older man is chasing after Ana. The older man fires his rifle twice, but Ana escapes. Kathleen is on the ground Jared aims his gun at her. "You stupid bitch." Jared says as he gets ready to shoot her, but Ana enters.
"Hey!" Ana yells as Jared turns around and sees Ana. Jared fires the gun, but Ana runs away to dodge it. At the same moment, the older man walks in behind Ana and gets hit with the bullet instead. He falls to the ground. Jared cocks the gun and turns around; Ana appears behind him and grabs the gun. He hits Jared in the face with the rifle several times, and Jared collapses, unconscious.
Ana places Jared in Kathleen's cage and closes the door, she walks to the control panel and locks the cage. She makes her way over to Kathleen, who is standing over the older man, with her gun raised.
"I'll watch this one. You go ahead." Kathleen says as Ana stares at her. "Go ahead." She says as Ana leaves.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean and Ana both walk out of the front door and down the porch steps. They meet up with Kathleen who is leaving the barn. "Where's the girl?" Kathleen asks
"Locked in a closet. What about the dad?" Dean asks.
"Shot. Trying to escape." Kathleen says as the three of them exchange a look.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean, Ana and Kathleen are leaving. Ana and Dean's hands are interlocked. He is softly rubbing his thumb over her knuckles like he always does. "I think the cars at the police station." Dean says as Kathleen is listening to a woman on her walkie-talkie.
"Backup unit en route to your location." The woman says as Kathleen approaches Ana and Dean.
"So, state police and the FBI are going to be here within an hour. They're gonna wanna talk to you. I suggest that you're both long gone by then." Kathleen says as Ana nods her head.
"Thanks. Hey listen. I don't mean to press our luck, but we're kind of in the middle of nowhere. Think we could catch a ride?" Dean asks.
"Start walking. Duck if you see a squad car." Kathleen says as Ana nods her head again.
"Sounds great to me. Thanks." Ana says to Kathleen.
"Listen, uh...I'm sorry about your brother." Dean says.
"Thank you." Kathleen says as she begins to tear up. "It was really hard not knowing what happened to him. I thought it would be easier once I knew the truth -- but it isn't really." She says as she pauses. "Anyway, you two should go." She says as Ana and Dean nod and walk away.

Ana and Dean are walking down a random road. "Never do that again, Annie."
"Do what?" Ana asks as Dean's grip on her hand tightened a little.
"Go missin' like that." Dean says as Ana laughs a little. "All I'm sayin' is, you vanish like that again. I'm not lookin' for ya."
"Sure, you won't." Ana says as she leans her head onto Dean's shoulder as the two of them are walking.
"I'm not." Dean says as they both knew it was a big fat lie. Dean would do anything for Ana. He would kill for Ana if something happened to her.
"So, you got sidelined by a thirteen-year-old girl, huh?" Ana asks teasing a little.
"Oh, shut up." Dean says to her though that didn't stop the smile that was forming at the corner of his lips.
"Just sayin', gettin' rusty there, kiddo." Ana says as she continues to tease Dean.
"Shut up." Dean says chuckling as he couldn't stay mad at Ana, no matter how hard he would try. He just couldn't. Ana only laughs more. "You know I'd go lookin' for you, right?" He asks as Ana nods her head.
"I know. So would I." Ana says as despite them supposed to be walking he brought her in for a kiss, that was probably long overdue. Well at least to them it was long overdue. Even if it's been just under two days of them not seeing each other. It seemed like forever since they see each other.
Moments later, they both pulled from the kiss, as until they got to the motel, which was miles later, Dean gave her a piggyback ride, which was fine. For Ana, he'd give her all the piggyback rides that her little heart desires. It also wouldn't be true, Ana fashion without falling asleep on his back also. When he did get to a motel, he gently placed Ana on the bed and kissed her on the head before he to himself fell asleep, with her in his arms.
He loves her, she loves him. They love each other.
