Sam is looking at a map laid out on top of the Impala, Ana has her back on the Impala. Dean has his phone to his ear. "Okay, I think I found a way we can bypass that construction just east of here. We might even make Pennsylvania faster than we thought." Sam says looking at the map in front of him.
Dean lowers his phone and looks thoughtful. "Yeah, problem is, we're not going to Pennsylvania." Dean says as Ana sits up on the impala and looks at Dean.
"Why not?" Ana asks her boyfriend.
"I just got a call from a friend. Her father was killed last night, think it might be our kind of thing." Dean says as Ana furrows her brows at what Dean said but she didn't think anything of it.
"What?" Sam asks.
"Believe me, she never woulda called never, if she didn't need us." Dean says as Ana was hesitant of getting into the car. "You comin, Annie?" Ana then got into the car as she looked like a kid that didn't want to do something.
Minutes later the impala is cruising down the road, fields on one side, a lake on the other. "So, by old friend you mean..." Ana asks.
"A friend that's not new, Annie." Dean says to Ana.
"Oh, yeah. So, her name is Cassie huh? You never mentioned her." Ana says with something new in her voice that caught Dean off guard.
"Annie, she means nothing okay."
"So, how long were you two dating?" Ana asks with jealousy in her voice.
"Only for a couple weeks." Dean says to Ana. "Dad and I were working a job in Ohio, and she was finishing up college. We went out for a coupla weeks." Dean says.
"It sounds like a standard car accident. How does it fit the whole spooky supernatural ghost thing that we do."
"It just does."
"How?" Ana asks.
"Did you tell her about the family business?" Sam asks his brother, as he looked over at Dean who shifts a little in the driver's seat. "You told her, the secret! Our big family rule number one. We do what we do, and we shut up about it. For a year and a half, I did nothing but lie to Jessica, and you go out with this chick in Ohio for a coupla times and tell her everything." Sam says as Dean stays silent staring straight ahead.
"Dean!" Ana says as she has her arms crossed over her chest.
"Yeah, looks like." Dean says as he continues staring ahead and puts his foot down. Sam shakes his head as Ana rolls her eyes.

"It's a newspaper we put out, not a bulletin for the mayor's office."
"Get off your soapbox, Jimmy, I'm urging a little discretion is all."
"No, I think you're telling us what you want us to print and what you want us to sit on." A young woman named Cassie says.
"I know you're upset, Cassie. I liked your dad a lot. But I think your grief is clouding your judgement." The mayor says.
"Two black people were killed on the same stretch of road in the same way in two weeks."
Sam, Dean and Ana, walks into the office. "Jimmy, you're too close to this. Those guys were friends of yours. Again, Cassie, I'm very sorry for your loss." The mayor says as he leaves, the other guy walks away, and Cassie sighs and turns around looking directly at Dean.
"Dean." Cassie says as Ana rolls her eyes at the two.
"You're Cassie, right? Dean hasn't stopped talking about you. I'm Ana, and this is Sam." Ana says before Dean could say anything. Sam has a smile on his face, as Dean gave Ana a side-eyed look.
───※ ·❆· ※───
"My mother is in pretty bad sha. I've been staying with her. I wish she wouldn't go off by herself. She's been so nervous and frightened. She was worried about dad." Cassie explains, as she is carrying a trap of tea and cups.
"Why?" Dean asks.
Cassie is pouring them some tea as Ana is sitting in the middle of the couch, with both of the brothers on either side of her. "He was scared. He was seeing things." Cassie says.
"Like what?" Ana asks.
"He swore he saw an awful-looking black truck following him." Cassie tells them.
"A truck? Who was the driver?" Sam asks.
Cassie hands the three of them cups of tea. "He didn't talk about a driver. Just the truck. He said it would appear and disappear. And in the accident, Dad's car was dented, like it had been slammed into something big."
"Thanks. Now you're sure this dent wasn't there before?" Ana says as she takes her tea from Cassie. Ana looks at Dean who looks at his cup like it will jump out at him, and he quickly deposits it on a side table.
"He sold cars. Always drove a new one. There wasn't a scratch on that thing. It had rained hard that night. There was mud everywhere. There was a distinct set of muddy tracks leading from dad's car...leading right to the edge, where he went over." Cassie explains as he bows her head, trying to get her emotions under control. "One set of tracks. His."
"The first was friend of your fathers?" Dean asks.
"Best friend. Clayton Soames. They owned a car dealership together. Same thing. Dent. No tracks. And the cops said exactly what they said about dad. He 'lost control of his car'." Cassie says.
"Can you think of any reason why your father and his partner might be targets?" Ana asks.
"No, not that I can think of." Cassie says.
"And you think this vanishing truck ran them off the road?" Sam asks.
"When you said it aloud like that...listen, I'm a little skeptical about this...ghost stuff...or whatever it is you guys are into." Cassie says.
"Eh, close enough, but yeah...more like spooky supernatural ghost thing...but yeah ghost stuff works." Ana says as despite what happened Cassie offered Ana a weak small smile.
"If I remember, I think you said I was nuts." Dean says.
"That was then." Cassie says. "I just know that I can't explain what happened up there. So, I called you." Cassie says, as there was a sound of a door opening, as it is Cassie's mom.
"Mom. Where have you been I was so..." Cassie says as that's when her mother notices the three on the couch.
"I had no idea you invited friends over." Her mom says as she looks at Ana. "You're Ana, right? I think you went to school with Cassie."
"I did, uh eighth grade I think." Ana says.
"Well, I won't interrupt you four. It was nice seeing you again, Ana." Mrs. Robinson says.
"Mrs. Robinson. We're sorry for your loss. We'd like to talk to you for a minute if you don't mind?" Dean says.
"I'm not really up for that right now." Mrs. Robinson says as she leaves the room.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The Mayor and Cassie, walk among the emergency vehicles. "Jimmy meant something to this town. He was one of our best. We won't be the same without him." The mayor says.
"Our best seems to be dropping like flies. Clayton, my father, Jimmy.." Cassie says.
"What is it you want me to do?" The mayor asks.
"How about closing this section of road for starters?" Cassie suggests.
"Close the main road. The only road in out of town? Accidents happen Cassie, and that is what they are. Accidents." The mayor says as the Winchester brothers and Ana stand behind Cassie.
"Did the cops check for additional dinting on Jimmy's car, to see if it was pushed?" Ana asks as the mayor turns to Cassie.
"Who is this?" The mayor asks.
"This is Anastasia Singer, and Sam and Dean Winchester. Family friends. This is Mayor Harold Todd." Cassie says.
"There is one set of tire tracks. One...doesn't point to foul play." The mayor says.
"Mayor, the police and town officials take their cues from you. If you're indifferent about..." Cassie says to thr mayor as Ana rolls her eyes as she already doesn't like the mayor.
"Indifferent!" The mayor snaps.
"Would you close the road if the victims were white?" Cassie asks as Ana raises an eyebrow.
"You're suggesting I'm racist Cassie? I'm the last person you should talk to like that." The mayor says.
"And why is that?" Cassie asks.
"Why don't you ask your mother." The mayor says as he then walks away leaving the four of them in the field.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them are in the motel. Sam is going to stay back to see what he can find about this ghost truck. Ana is wearing her suit that she wore a while back. The couple are getting dressed in quiet, more like, awkward quiet.
"Ana, can we talk about this, please." Dean says to Ana as she is taking her hair out of the braid that it was in.
"About what?" Ana asks without looking at Dean in the bathroom mirror as Dean is adjusting his tie.
"About me and Cassie. Listen baby, she doesn't mean anything. I would never do anything that stupid. Besides she isn't as beautiful as you are." Dean says to Ana as the red head sigh. Even with Dean calling her beautiful.
"Thought we talked about no secrets, Dean." Ana says to Dean as he kisses her head.
"I know and I am sorry." Dean says to her as he wraps his arms around Ana's torso from behind. "Just believe me, baby." He says as he kisses Ana's head again as his lips lingered on the top of her head. "Ready, baby?" Dean asks Ana as it sounded muffled as his lips were still on Ana's head.
"Yeah, can you grab my brush though?" Ana asks as Dean nods his head as he grabbed her hairbrush and tapped it on her head, which made him grin. "I said grab it, or I will hit you hella harder."
"Got you to smile though." Dean says as to retaliate Ana grabbed her brush from Dean's hand and whacked him in the head with it. "Let's go before you hit me again."
───※ ·❆· ※───
The impala is driving down a wet country road, and Ana is brushing through her hair. She is back to her happy self, she knows that Cassie won't overstep, as they were friends in a sense, when Cassie was at her grandparents for a couple months, when the two girls were in eighth grade.
Dean and Ana are walking down a pier. A few other people are fishing. The couple approaches two older men having lunch.
"Excuse me. Are you Ron Stubbins?" Ana asks a Ron nods his head.
"You were friends with Jimmy Anderson?" Dean asks.
"Who are you two?" Ron asks.
"We're Mr. Anderson's insurance company. We're just here to dot 'I's and cross 'T's." Dean says.
"We were just wondering, had the deceased mentioned any unusual recent experiences?" Ana asks.
"What do you mean unusual?" Ron asks.
"Well, visions, hallucinations." Ana says.
"It's part of a medical examination kind of thing. All very standard." Dean says.
"What company did you say you were with?" Ron asks.
"All National Mutual. Tell me, did he ever mention seeing a truck? A big black truck?" Dean asks.
"What the hell you talking about? You even speaking English?" Ron asks.
"Son, this truck, a big scary monster looking thing?" Ron's friend asks.
"Yeah, actually. I think so." Dean says.
"I have heard of a truck like that." Ron's friend says.
"You have. Where?" Ana asks.
"Not where. When. Back in the '60s, there was a string of deaths. Black men. Story goes; they disappeared in a big, nasty, black truck." Ron's friend explains.
"They ever catch the guy who did it?" Dean asks.
"Never found him. Hell, not sure they even really looked. See there was a time, this town wasn't too friendly to all its citizens." Ron's friend says.
"Thank you." Ana says offering the two men a small smile, before her and Dean turned back to make their way down the pier and back to the Impala.
"Truck." Dean says.
"Keeps coming up, doesn't it?" Ana asks.
"You know I was thinking. You heard of the Flying Dutchman?" Dean asks, as he knows that Ana has heard of it, because she is a lore geek like Sam.
"Yeah, a uh, was a ghost ship infused with the captain's evil spirit. It was basically part of him." Ana says.
"So, what if we're dealing with the same thing? You know, a phantom truck, an extension of some bastard's ghost, re-enacting past crimes." Dean says.
"The victims have all been black men." Ana says.
"I think it's more than that. They all seem connected to Cassie and her family." Dean says.
"Somebody had to do something to piss this guy off, to make him want to become Davvy Jones." Ana says to Dean as they got back to the Impala.
"No kidding." Dean says as the two got into the Impala, he immediately looked at Ana, who was slightly confused.
"What? It was Sam who took the last beer."
"I was--he what?"
"Don't look at me, that shit is nasty." Ana says as Dean wasn't surprised that she would say that. Ana never was a beer drinker always a whiskey, or anything from a bottle. She is a bottle drinker.
"I will kill him." Dean says as Ana had a small smile on her face at his reaction. "But anyway, I was going to say, let's fuck it and take off because I need a beer."
"Works for me." Ana says before she looked at Dean who had a goofy grin on his face. "Just, not the beer part."
"So, are we cool?" Dean asks, as it took Ana a couple seconds to realize what he was talking about. The whole thing with Cassie and Dean as they used to be together. She then nodded her head at what he said.
"Yeah, we cool." Ana says to Dean, as he leaned forward and pressed a kiss onto her lips, before he pulled back to his seat and started the car.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The two changed out of their uniforms and stuff and slipped into clothes more casual and they went to a bar a couple towns over away from Cassie and Sam. Where of course, Ana hustled some guys in pool, and Dean was on standby that at least someone should be the sober driver. He only had two beers, while Ana roughly had an entire bottle of whiskey in a sense.
Ana got drunk (as per usual), so Dean was the one to carry her and her six hundred dollars out of the bar, which he didn't mind at all. After Dean walked out of the bar with a drunken Ana in his arms, the two of them crashed at the motel, where they slept until Dean heard his phone ringing hours later.
Dean lies on his back on the mattress on the bed he has his arm around Ana tucking her against his side like she always is. Her drunken breath, brushed against the side of his neck. He pressed a soft kiss on the top of her head. Dean had woken up, and he was staring at the ceiling, absentmindedly running his fingers up and down her arm.
"I love you, baby." Dean says softly to Ana, even if she was sleeping, he still told her that he loves her. "I know you're still sleeping, but you are my princess."
Just then Ana's phone rings and Dean reaches to answer it. "Yeah." Dean says as he listens, as he looks startled. "You're kidding, we are on our way." He then hung up with Sam, as he sighed. "I'm going to regret this." Dean whispers underneath his breath. He took a deep breath as he mentally prepared himself for how this was going to go. He rubbed Ana's back, softly. "Hey, baby, time to wake up. We got to go."
He closed his eyes preparing for her to be hitting him or something because she isn't a morning person. Let alone when she is drunk. So, when he didn't feel her throwing her hands at him, that is when he let the breath escape his nose. He felt her moving a little, as he continued to gently rub her back. "Come on baby, we gotta go, otherwise Sammy will chew my ass. Literally."
───※ ·❆· ※───
It is snowing, as Dean and Ana approach Sam who is talking to a cop. Sam puts away some sort of fake ID. "They're with me." He says as the cop leaves, Sam turns to Dean with a half-smile. "Where were you two last night? You guys didn't make it back to the hotel."
"Well..." Dean says as all Sam had to do was look at Ana to know what happened last night.
"S-s-so what happened?" Ana asks even if it was slurred a little, Sam was trying not to laugh and or make a reaction.
"Every bone crushed. Internal organs turned to pudding. The cops are all stumped, it's like something ran him over." Sam says as him, Dean and Ana started walking.
"Something like a truck?" Dean asks as he had an arm around Ana.
"Yep." Sam says.
"Tracks?" Ana asks.
"What was the Mayor doing here anyway?" Dean asks.
"He owned the property. Bought it a few weeks ago." Sam says.
"But he's white, he doesn't fit the pattern." Dean says.
"Killings didn't happen up on the road. That doesn't fit either." Sam says.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean and Ana are at the newspaper office where Cassie works at. Ana is sitting on the other side of Dean, as Cassie makes three mugs of tea and takes them over to where Dean sits at a computer.
"Here." Cassie says as she hands the couple the mugs of tea.
"Thanks." Ana mumbles as Cassie has a small huff of a laugh escaping her lips.
"So, I'm trying to find some link between those killings back in the '60s and what's going on now. There wasn't a lot about it in the paper." Dean says as he looks on the computer.
"Not surprising. Probably minimal policework too. Back then equal justice under the law wasn't too literal around here." Cassie says, as just then Dean's phone rings.
"Yeah." Dean says.
"Okay, the courthouse records show that Mr. and Mrs. Mayor bought the abandoned property. The previous owner was the Dorian family for, like 150 years."
"Dorian?" Dean asks.
"Yeah."
"Didn't you say the Dorian family used to own this paper?" Dean asks Cassie, as Ana leans closer to Dean so that she can hear what he is saying.
"Along with everything else around here. Real pillars of the town." Cassie says.
"Right, right." Dean says as he clicks a few links on the computer. "That's interesting."
"What?" Sam asks.
"This Cyrus Dorian. He vanished in April of '63. The case was investigated but never solved. It was right around the time the string of murders that was going on back then." Dean says as Ana takes another sip from the tea.
"Well, I pulled a bunch of papers up on the Dorian place, it musta been in a bad shape when the Mayor bought that." Sam says.
"Why's that?" Dean asks.
"The first thing he did was bulldoze the place." Sam says as Ana nods her head.
"That will piss off the spirit." Ana mumbles as she furrows her brows a little.
"Mayor Todd knocked down the Dorian place?" Dean asks Cassie.
"It was a big deal. One of the oldest houses left. He made the front page." Cassie says.
"You got a date?" Dean asks his brother.
"Ah, the 3rd of last month." Sam says.
Dean is clicking then reading the computer screen. "Mayor Todd bulldozed the Dorian family home on the 3rd. The first killing was the very next day."
───※ ·❆· ※───
The Winchester brothers and Ana are in Cassie's living room as she was really shaken up of what happened. Sam hands her a cup of tea. Dean sits beside her with Ana on his knee, he has an arm around Ana keeping her close. Ana reached over and put a hand on Cassie's leg, which made her slowly stop shaking but she was still shaking, nonetheless. "Maybe you could throw a couple of shots in that."
"You didn't see who was driving the truck." Sam says
"It seemed to be no one. Everything was moving so fast. And then it was just gone. Why didn't it kill us?" Cassie asks.
"Whoever was controlling the truck wants you afraid first."
"Mrs. Robinson. Cassie said that your husband saw the truck before he died." Sam says as Mrs. Robinson was shaking.
"Mom?" Cassie asks, as Dean's grip on Ana's side tightened slightly.
"Oh. Martin was under a lot of stress. You can't be sure about what he was seeing." Mrs. Robinson says.
"Well after tonight I think we can be reasonably sure he was seeing a truck. What happened tonight, you and Cassie are marked. Ok? Your daughter could die. So, of you know something now would be a really good time to tell us about it." Dean says.
"Dean..." Cassie says softly.
"Yes. Yes, he said he saw a truck." Mrs. Robinson says.
"Did he know who it belonged to?" Ana asks.
"He thought he did." Mrs. Robinson says.
"Who was that?" Dean asks.
"Cyrus. A man named Cyrus." Mrs. Robinson says as she was getting upset.
The Winchester brothers look at each other, Ana reaches down to Dean's bag and shows Mrs. Robinson the newspaper article of Dorian's death. "Is this Cyrus?" Ana asks.
"Cyrus Dorian died more than 40 years ago." Mrs. Robinson says, as Ana slightly raised her eyebrow when she heard that.
"How do you know he died, Mrs. Robinson? The paper said he went missing. How do you know he died?" Dean asks.
"We were all very young. I dated Cyrus a while, I was also seeing Martin...in secret of course. Inter-racial couples didn't go too well back then When I broke it off with Cyrus, and when he found out about Martin. I don't know, he changed. His hatred. His hatred was frightening." Mrs. Robinson says.
"The murders." Ana says softly, as Dean nodded his head slowly at what Ana had said.
"There were rumors. People of color disappearing into some kind of truck. Nothing was ever done. Martin and a ...Martin and I, we were gonna be, uh, married in that little church near here, but last minute we decided to elope as we didn't want the attention." Mrs. Robinson says sounding more and more upset.
"And Cyrus?" Ana asks.
"The day we set for the wedding; was the day someone had set fire to the church. There was a children's choir practicing in there. They all died." Mrs. Robinson says.
"Did the attacks stop after that?" Sam asks softly.
"No! There was one more. One night that truck came for Martin. Cyrus beat him something terrible. But Martin, you see, Martin got loose. And he started hitting Cyrus and he just kept hitting him and hitting him." Mrs. Robinson says sobbing.
"Why didn't you call the cops?" Dean asks as his fingers rubbed Ana's shirt that she was wearing.
"This was forty years ago. He called on his friends. Clayton Soames and Jimmy Anderson and they put Cyrus' body into the truck, and they rolled it into the swamp at the end of his land and all three of them kept that secret all of these years." Mrs. Robinson says still crying.
"And now all three are gone."Sam says.
"And so is Mayor Todd. Now he said that you of all people would know he is not a racist. Why would he say that?" Dean asks.
"He was a good man. He was a young deputy back then investigating Cyrus' disappearance. Once he figured out what Martin and the others, he...he did nothing, because he also knew what Cyrus had done." Mrs. Robinson says.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Cassie asks, as Ana rests her head onto Dean's shoulder, as he rubs his fingers over her side comfortably.
"I thought I was protecting them. And now there's no one left to protect." Mrs. Robinson says still crying.
"Yes, there is." Dean says as he looks at Cassie, as does Mrs. Robinson who looks shaken.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Sam leans against the Impala; Dean walks up and down. "Ah, my life was so simple. Just school, exams, papers on polycentric cultural norms." Sam says.
"So, I guess I saved you from a boring existence." Dean says.
"Yeah, occasionally I miss boring." Sam says.
"So, this killer truck." Dean says.
"I miss conversations that didn't start with 'this killer truck' Ahh." Sam says.
"Well, this Cyrus guy. Evil on a level that infected even his truck. When he died, the swamp became his tomb, and his spirit was dormant for 40 years." Dean says.
"So, what woke it up?" Sam asks.
"The construction on his house. Or the destruction." Dean says.
"Right. Demolition or remodeling can awaken spirits, make them restless. Like that theater in Illinois, ya know?" Sam says.
"And the guy that tore the family homestead, Harold Todd, is the same guy that kept Cyrus' murder quiet and unsolved." Dean says.
"So, now his spirit is awakened and out for bloody." Sam says.
"Yeah, I guess. Who knows what ghosts are thinking anyway." Dean says.
"You know we're going to have to dredge that body up from the swamp right." Sam says as Dean smiles at his brother. "Man." Sam mutters.
"You said it." Dean says.
"Yeah." Sam says as Ana then approaches from the house. Dean stands and turns to Ana.
"Hey." Dean says.
"Hey, she's asleep. Now what?" Ana asks.
"Well, you should stay put and look after her with Cassie...and we'll be back when we are done. Don't leave the house." Dean says to Ana.
Ana smiled at Dean. "Don't go getting all authoritative on me. I hate it."
Dean glances behind him at Sam, who looks down grinning. "Don't leave the house, please?" Dean mumbles as Ana blinks slowly giving Dean the puppy dog eyes. "You're going to come with, aren't you?" Dean asks as Ana nods her head as he shook his head as he leans in to kiss her grinning.
Sam glances over, grinning at them making out, and clears his throat. Dean keeps kissing Ana, holding one finger back at Sam to wait. Dean breaks the kiss. "Comin, or what Sam? Ana will be happy if you aren't comin?"
"Who's that?" Sam asks as Ana easily climbed through the window, before Sam could move. "Right, because she is the passenger princess."
"Damn right." Dean says to his brother.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The Winchester brothers and Ana are at the Dorian property. "Alright. Let's get her up." Sam says as Dean is at the wheel of a tractor. Dean backs it up, pulling a truck from the water. Ana was beside Sam.
"Alright. A little more. Little more. Alright, stop." Sam says as Dean turns off the engine and jumps down from the tractor. "Nice."
Dean moves to the trunk of the Impala. "Hell yeah." He hands something to Ana which is from the trunk. "Hold that, princess."
"Alright, what am I getting?" Dean asks.
Ana wouldn't admit it but when Dean is in his 'business' mode, it is hot. Seeing him focused, an attention at getting the job done. "Gas. Flashlight..." Dean says.
"Got it. Got it." Sam says.
"Okay, let's get this done." Dean says.
"Alright." Ana says as Dean lowers the trunk of the Impala.
"Got it." Dean says as the three of them move towards the door of the truck, the brother's glance at each other. Then Dean opens the driver's door, and then the first thing that they see is a decaying body. Which made Ana jump back as a tiny gasp left her lips.
"Alright, let's get to it." Dean says, as the three of them salt and burn the body and stand watching the body burn.
"Think that'll do it?" Sam asks as the ghost truck appears, as the headlights come on and the engine revving.
"Apparently not." Ana mutters.
"So, burning the body had no effect on that thing?" Sam asks.
"Sure, it did. Now it's really pissed." Ana says.
"But Cyrus' ghost is gone, right Ana?" Sam asks.
Ana starts to walk away. "Apparently not the part that's fused with the truck." Ana says.
"Where you going?" Sam asks.
"Somewhere." Ana says.
"What!" Sam asks.
"I'm going to lead that thing away. That busted piece of crap, you two have to burn it."
"How the hell are we supposed to burn a truck, Ana?" Sam asks.
"I don't know. You two figure something out." Ana says, as she tossed a bag and Dean caught it. "See ya."
"Figure some -- something." Sam sputters.
"Anastasia, if something happens to that car, your ass will be mine!" Dean hollers at Ana who reverses the Impala and drives off.
The ghost truck roars after her. Sam and Dean hide until it passes. Ana and the Impala lead the truck, on a wild ride through the misty back roads.
"Hey, you gotta give us a minute." Sam says.
"Well, I don't have a minute. What are we doing?" Ana asks.
"Ah, let me get back to you." Sam says as he hangs up on Ana.
"Get back to me?" Ana says as she sounds astounded, as moments later Sam is back on the phone with Ana.
"Alright, Ana?" Sam says.
"This better be good." Ana says to the youngest Winchester.
"Where are you, baby?" Dean asks Ana.
"In the middle of nowhere with a killer truck on my ass! It's like it knows we put the torch to Cyrus." Ana says as there was some slight shuffling as Sam handed his phone to Dean.
"Listen to me, sweetheart. This is important. I have to know exactly where you are." Dean says.
Ana looks at a road sign that passed. "Decatur road, about two miles off the highway." Ana says.
"Okay. Headed East?" Dean asks.
"Yes!" Ana nearly yells, as the truck backends the Impala, which causes it to go skidding all over the road before regaining traction. "You son of a bitch!"
"Oh, ahh, turn right! Up ahead, turn right." Dean instructs as Ana swings right, as the truck follows, both engines screaming and revving. "You make the turn sweetheart?"
"Yeah, I made the turn! You two need to move this thing along a little faster." Ana says.
"Alright, you see a road up ahead?" Dean asks Ana.
"No! Wait. No, yes, I see it." Ana says as the truck is slowly gaining around the Impala's right side.
"Okay, turn left." Dean instructs.
"Wha...?" Ana asks as she grimaces as she slams on the brakes and the truck careens past as she spins the Impala left onto the smaller road. "Alright, now what?"
"You need to go seven tenths of a mile and then stop." Dean instructs.
"Stop?" Ana asks, making sure she heard her boyfriend correctly at his God-awful directions.
"Exactly, seven tenths, sweetheart." Dean says as Ana looks at the speedometer.
"Seven tenths, seven tenths." Ana says as at the right moment Ana spins the car and moves it back to sit exactly where Dean advised, facing the back way she came.
She is between two posts on each side of the road, and the last remains of a wall, almost totally broken down. The ghost truck appears back down the road, she came down, revving its engine.
"Baby, you're still there?" Dean asks.
"Yeah." Ana says.
"What's happening, sweetheart?" Dean asks.
"It's just staring at me, what do I do?" Ana says
"Just what you are doing, bringing it to you." Dean says.
"Wha..." Ana says. The truck spins it's tires and comes barreling towards Ana and the Impala. She watches it come. hanging tightly onto the Impala's steering wheel. "Come on. Come on."
As the truck reaches her, she closes her eyes and hangs on tight. The truck roars through her, disintegrating into nothing as it does so. Ana opens her eyes and stares at the now empty road in front of her. All that can be heard is the purring of the Impala's engine, the truck's revving has completely disappeared. Ana twists around to look behind and sees nothing.
"Ana. You still there? Baby?" Dean asks.
"Where'd it go?" Ana asks looking shocked.
"Ana, you're where the church was." Dean says.
"What church!" Ana asked exasperated.
"The place Cyrus burned down. Murdered all those kids." Dean says.
Ana looks at the posts left on the side of the road. "There's not a whole lot left." Ana says.
"Church ground is hallowed ground, whether the church is still there or not. Evil spirits cross over hallowed ground, sometimes they're destroyed. So, I figured, maybe, that we would get rid of it." Dean says as Ana rolls her eyes at what he said. Oh, he was going to get it.
"Maybe? Maybe?! What if you're wrong?" Ana asks her boyfriend.
"Huh. Honestly that thought hadn't occurred to me." Dean says as Ana's eye nearly twitches, as she stares at her phone as she hangs up. "Well, it honestly didn't occur to me." Ana says as she slaps her hand on the steering wheel. "I'm gonna kill him."

Dean, Cassie and Ana, walk towards the pier. Sam is already in the driver's seat. "My mother says to tell you thanks again both of you for coming." Cassie says as Dean has his arm snaked around Ana.
"This is a better goodbye than last time." Cassie says as she gives Ana a hug, that lingers for a couple more seconds. Cassie pulls away from the hug. "If you break her heart, I will break your neck." Cassie says as she points a finger in Dean's chest.
"Trust, me I am more afraid of having my neck broken by you two, to ever think about breaking her heart." Dean says as him and Cassie hug for a moment, before she broke away.
"Never thought you'd end up with Dean of all people. I thought Sam was your type."
"Okay, I was eleven, things change, Cass." Ana says as Dean chuckles as his arm went back around Ana.
"If you two get married, and that is a big fat if, make me the maid of honor." Cassie says.
"Noted, I'll add you with the two other friends I have." Ana says as Cassie hugged Ana again, as the girls pulled away as Ana had a small smile.
"I'm telling you Dean, if you break her heart I will murder you, and that is a promise." Cassie says as Dean salutes Cassie as the two got into the Impala.

Dean stares out the window while Sam drives, Ana is sitting on Dean's lap, as he has an arm around her. "I like her." Sam says as Ana looks at the younger Winchester.
"You sure about that? She isn't exactly your type, Sam. She's more into guys like Dean, not guys like you." Ana says as Dean leans forward to grab his sunglasses which he slips on.
"Why don't you wake us up when it's my turn to drive?" Dean asks as he slouches down in the seat with Ana in his arms. Sam shakes his head and looks back at long straight of road that is in front of him.
