{red sky at morning}
Dean is driving as Ana is sleeping beside him, as Sam and Amelia are in the backseat. There is a tense silence in the car, which Dean breaks. "So, I've been waiting since Maple Springs. You got something to tell me?" Dean says.
Sam plays dumb, as Amelia looks at him, as she is the only one who knew what Sam actually did. "It's not your birthday."
"No." Dean says flatly as he gave Sam a side-eyed look.
"Happy Purim? Dude, I don't know. I have no idea what you're talking about--" Sam says as Dean cuts him off.
"There's a bullet missing from the Colt. You want to tell me how that happened? I know it wasn't me or Annie. So, unless you were shooting at some incredibly evil cans..." Dean scolds his brother while he tries to be as reasonable quiet because Ana is sleeping.
"Dean..." Sam says.
"You went after her, didn't you? The Crossroads Demon, after I told you not to." Dean says to his brother.
"Yeah, well..." Sam says.
"You could have gotten yourself killed!" Dean says louder that he intended, and Ana stirred in her sleep. He rubbed her arm and kissed the top of her head, in efforts of getting her back to sleep.
"I didn't." Sam says.
"And you shot her." Dean says.
"She was being a smartass." Sam says.
"So, what? Does that, does that mean, I'm out of my deal?" Dean asked.
"Don't you think I might have mentioned that little fact, Dean? No. Someone else holds the contract." Sam says.
"Who?" Dean asked.
"She wouldn't say?" Sam says.
"Well, we should find out who. Of course, our best lead would be the Crossroads Demon. Oh, wait a minute..." Dean says.
"That's not funny." Sam says.
"No, it's not. It was a stupid freaking risk, and you shouldn't had taken it." Dean says as he pressed a kiss on the top of Ana's head.
"I 'shouldn't have done it'? You're my brother, Dean. And no matter what you do, I'm gonna try and save you. And I'm sure as hell not gonna apologize for it, alright?" Sam says as Dean is silent as Sam shakes his head in exasperation.

The three of them, including a very tired and grumpy Ana (grumpy being the fact that Dean woke her up from her nap) are impersonating officers of the law to interview a witness. She is holding a framed photograph of the shower-drowned victim. The witness' name is Gertrude Case, an elegant and well-groomed seventy-year-old woman.
"But I don't understand. I already went over all of this with the other detectives." Gertrude says as Dean snaked his arm around Ana.
"Right yes, but see, we're with the Sheriff's department, not the police department -- different departments." Dean says as Ana turned her head towards Dean and gives him a 'really' look. She may be a walking zombie and cranky, but she knows what the difference is between police officers and sheriffs.
"So, Mrs. Case..." Sam says.
"Please." Gertrude says. "Ms. Case." She says as Ana looked back at the woman.
"You were the one who found your niece, correct?" Sam asked.
"I came here, she was in the shower." Gertrude says.
"Drowned?" Ana asked.
"So, the coroner says. Now, you tell me, how can someone drown in the shower?" Gertrude asked.
"How would you describe Sheila's behavior in the days before her death? I mean, did she seem frightened? Maybe she said something out of the ordinary or...?" Sam asked as Amelia was standing beside him, as Ana was beside Dean.
"Wait a minute. You're working Alex, aren't you?" Gertrude says as Ana tilted her head confused.
'Who the fuck is Alex?' Ana thought in her head. 'Just nod and act like you know who she is talking about'.
"Absolutely. That's Alex and us." Dean says.
"Why didn't you say so? Alex has been such a comfort. But I'm sorry. I thought the case was solved." Gertrude says.
"Uh... well, no. No, not yet." Amelia says.
"I see." Gertrude says.
"So, anyways, we were talking about your niece." Sam says.
"Well, yes, Sheila mentioned something quite strange before she died. She said she saw a boat." Gertrude says.
"A boat?" Ana and Dean ask in unison as they did their fist-bump.
"Yes, one minute it was there, then it was gone. It just disappeared right before her eyes. You think it could be a... ghost ship? Alex thinks it could be a ghost ship." Gertrude says.
"Could be." Sam says.
"Well, you let me know if there's anything else, I can do for you." Gertrude says.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The four of them are walking along the docks, the water is crowded with pristine, moderately sized boats, as Dean and Ana's hands are interlocked. "What a crazy old broad." Dean says.
"Why? Because she believes in ghosts?" Sam asked.
"Who's Alex? We got another player in town or something?" Amelia asked.
"Maybe, maybe not. Doesn't change our job." Sam says.
"And what looked like a ghost ship, right?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, and it's not the first one sighted around here, either." Sam says, as Amelia nodded her head at what he said.
"What, really?" Ana asked as a yawn escaped her lips.
"Yeah, every 37 years, like clockwork, reports of a vanishing three-mast clipper sh ip out in the bay, and every 37 years, a rash of weirdo, dry-land drownings." Sam says.
"So, whatever's happening is just getting started." Dean says.
"Yeah." Sam says.
"What's the lore?" Dean asked.
"Well, there are apparitions of old wrecks sighted all over the world. The S.S. Violet, the Griffin, the Flying Dutchman -- almost all of them are death omens." Sam says.
"So, what happens? You see the ship and then a few hours later, you pucker up and kiss your ass goodbye?" Dean asked.
"Basically." Sam says.
"What's the next step?" Dean asked.
"I gotta ID the boat." Sam says.
"That shouldn't be too hard. I mean, how many three-mast clipper ships have wrecked off the coast?" Dean asked.
"I checked too, actually. Over one hundred and fifty." Sam says.
"Wow." Dean says.
"Yeah." Amelia says.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The four of them approach an empty parking space, as Dean looks around confused. "This is where we parked the car, right?" Dean asked.
"I thought so." Sam says.
"Where's my car?" Dean asked.
"Did you feed the meter?" Ana asked.
"Yes, I fed the meter. Where's my car? Somebody stole my CAR!" Dean says as his voice starts to panic.
"Hey, hey, hey! Calm down. Dea--" Sam says.
"I am calmed down! Somebody stole my ca--" Dean says as Ana was beside him within seconds, as he clutched onto her to calm down.
"The '67 Impala? Was that yours?" Was the voice of Bela Talbot, that made Dean hold Ana tighter, not that she was complaining.
"Bela, I swear to God." Ana says as she almost snapped, as now it was Dean's turn to keep her from going after Bela.
"I'm sorry. I had that car towed." Bela says.
"You what?!" Dean exclaims.
"Well, it was in a tow-away zone." Bela says.
"No, it wasn't!" Ana exclaims.
"It was when I finished with it." Bela says.
"What the hell are you even doing here?" Amelia asked, piping into this argument, with the Talbot woman.
"A little yachting." Bela says flippantly, which made Amelia roll her eyes at her.
"You're Alex. You're working with that old lady." Sam says, as Dean has a tight hold on Ana so that she doesn't go after Bela.
"Gert's a dear old friend." Bela says.
"What's your angle?" Dean asked.
"There's no angle. There's a lot of lovely old women like Gert up and down the eastern seaboard. I sell them charms, perform séances so they can commune with their dead cats." Bela says.
"And let me guess, it's all a con, none of its real." Dean says.
"The comfort I provide them is very real." Bela says.
"Good to know." Ana grumbles as Dean kissed her head.
"How do you sleep at night?" Amelia asked.
"On silk sheets, rolling naked in money. Really, Sam. I'd expect the attitude from Dean or Anastasia, but you?" Bela says.
"You shot me!" Sam says.
"I barely grazed you." Bela says as Sam looks exasperated. "But a bit of a drama queen, yeah?"
"You do know what's going on around here. This ghost-ship thing, it is real." Amelia says.
"I'm aware. Thanks for telling Gert the case wasn't solved, by the way." Bela says.
"It isn't." Dean says.
"She didn't know that. Now the old bag's stopped payment and she's demanding some real answers. Look... just stay out of my way before you cause any more trouble. I'd get that car if I were you... before they find the arsenal in the trunk." Bela says as she turns around. "Ciao." Then she leaves as it is a good thing.
"Can we shoot her?" Ana asked.
"Not in public." Sam says.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The last victim's house has become a crime scene. Bela is impersonating a reporter, is interviewing a distraught man who is the victim's brother. "No. The police said that he drowned, but... I don't u-understand how..."
"I am so sorry for your loss, Mr. Warren. Now, if you could just tell me one more time about the ship your brother saw." Bela says as the four of them approach her wearing suits and flashing badges.
"Ma'am, I think this man's been through quite enough. You should go." Dean says.
"But I just have a few more question." Bela says.
"No, you don't." Ana says firmly, as Bela shoots daggers at Dean and Ana.
"Thank you for your time." Bela says.
"Sorry, you had to deal with that. They're like roaches." Dean says as his voice raises so that Bela who is walking away can hear.
"So, we heard you say your brother saw a ship." Ana says as she and Mr. Warren walk away.
"Yeah, that's right." Mr. Warren says.
"Did he tell you what it looked like?" Dean asked.
"It was, uh... like the old Yankee clippers. A smuggling vessel. The rakish topsail, a barkentine rigging. Angel figurehead on the bow." Mr. Warren describes to the four of them.
"That's a lot of detail for a ship your brother saw." Ana says.
"My brother and I were night diving. I saw the ship, too." Mr. Warren says, as the four of them look at each other.
On the other side of the parking lot, Bela is talking to the real uniforms and pointing in their direction. Ana notices first and nudges Dean, as they wrap up.
"Alright. We'll be in touch." Dean says.
"Thank you." Sam says.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean, Sam and Ana are loading shotguns at the trunk of the impala, as Bela approaches from behind. "I see you got your car back." Bela says.
"You know it's a bad idea of sneaking up behind people who are loading shotguns, unless you want bullets through your head." Ana says.
"Now, now, mind your blood pressure. Why are you four still here? You have enough to ID, the boat." Bela says.
"That guy back there, saw the ship." Sam says.
"Yeah, and?" Bela asked.
"And, he's going to die, so we have to save him." Ana says.
"How sweet." Bela says sarcastically.
"You think this is funny?" Amelia asked as she was beside Sam.
"He's cannon fodder. He can't be saved in time, and you know it." Bela says.
"Yeah, well, see, we have souls, unlike you... so we're gonna try." Ana says.
"Yeah, well, I'm actually going to find the ship and put an end to this. But you have fun." Bela says as the four of them are about to get into the car, and the couple pauses, as Sam and Amelia are already in the car.
"Hey, Bela, how'd you get like this, huh? What, did Daddy, not give you enough hugs or something?" Dean asked as Ana smiled a little at what he said.
"I don't know. Your daddy giv you enough? Don't you dare look down your nose at me. You four are not better than I am." Bela says.
"We help people." Ana says.
"Come on. You do this out of vengeance and obsession. you're a stone's throw from being a serial killer. Whereas I, on the other hand, I get paid to do a job and I do it. So, you tell me -- which is healthier?" Bela asked.
"Bela, why don't you just leave? We got work to do." Ana says.
"Yeah, you're 0 for 2. Bang-up job so far." Bela says as she leaves, as Ana turns to Dean.
"Can I shoot her?" Ana asked as Dean pressed a kiss to the top of her head.
"No, not yet, sweetheart." Dean says to her as she has a pout on her face.
"Damn, I was looking forward of it." Ana says as Dean couldn't help but smile at what she said.
"Can't blame you there, baby." He says as the two of them get into the car.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The four of them are staking out the home of Peter Warren who is the victim's brother. They're in the impala, as Sam is doing research and reading papers. Ana is finishing with braiding her hair. "Anything good?" Dean asked his brother as he took a drink from Ana's Dr. Pepper, as she is sitting in the middle between the brothers, as Amelia is in the backseat. Dean has his arm around her, as he pressed a kiss on the top of her head.
"No, not really. I mean, both brothers are Duke University grads. No criminal record. I mean, a few speeding tickets. They inherited their father's real estate fortune six years ago." Sam says.
"How much?" Ana asked.
"$112 million." Sam says as Dean whistles.
"Nice life." Dean mutters.
"Yeah, I mean, nice, clean, aboveboard. So, why did they see the ship? Why Sheila too? What do they have in common?" Sam asked as Ana shrugged her shoulders at what he said as even she couldn't tell what they had in common either.
"Maybe nothing." Dean says, as Sam shook his head at what his brother said.
"No. There's always something." Sam says as that's when the guy the four of them are watching spotted them. He came out of his house towards them, stopping inside his gate.
"Hey, you!" He calls out, as the four of them get out of the car and approach him.
"What are you guys doing? You watching me?" The man asks.
"Sir, calm down. Please." Amelia says.
"You guys aren't cops! Not dressed like that. Not -- not in that crappy car." The man says.
"No need to get nasty." Dean says to the man.
"We are cops, okay? We're undercover. We're here because you're in danger." Sam says to the man.
"From who?!" The man exclaims.
"If you just settle down, we'll talk about it." Dean says.
"Look, you guys just stay away from me!" The man says as he runs to his own car.
"Wait!" Sam says.
"Yo, moron, we're trying to help you!" As Peter's car approaches the gate, the car shutters, and then dies.
"That can't be good." Dean says.
"Usually not really." Ana says, as she cocked the salt gun.
"Where did that come from?"
"Behind Dean's seat..." Ana says nonchalantly.
Inside Peter's car a spirit dressed in old seaman's clothes and a navy coat, his long hair dripping into his eyes, appears in the rear seat. Peter turns to look but the spirit is gone, then it re-appears in the front passenger seat. It turns to Peter and glares, then reaches out to touch his cheek. Peter convulses, choking on water that spills out of his mouth and struggling to get a breath. He scrabbles for the door, which locks itself, and he slumps over, as that's when Amelia arrives at the car.
"Peter!" Amelia calls out as Peter doesn't respond but the spirit glares straight at Amelia, as Ana aims the salt gun at the spirit. Amelia ducks as Ana fires, the spirit disappears, and Ana reaches through the shattered glass to unlock the car doors. Amelia yanks the drive-side door open, she pulls Peter back and checks for a pulse, but after a few seconds she sighs shaking her head.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The four of them are driving along in the impala with the radio going, talking about the incoming weather. "When what started out as a mild severe weather front headed in from the Northeast. Expect heavy lightning and thunder, with sudden rainfall--" The radio says as Dean shuts off the radio.
"Do, you wanna say it or should I?" Dean asks.
"What?" Sam asked his brother.
"You can't save everybody, Sam." Dean says as Ana had her earbuds in as she was listening to her iPod that she has.
"Yeah, right, so -- so what, you feel better now or what?" Sam asks.
"No, not really." Dean says.
"Me neither." Sam says.
"You gotta understa--" Dean says as Sam cuts him off.
"It's just lately, I feel like I can't save anybody." Sam says which made Amelia lower her head when he said that, as she took a deep breath.
───※ ·❆· ※───
They are now at the motel room that they are staying at as Ana is on her and Dean's bed reading her Harry Potter Book, she is on Goblet of Fire. Every time a new book comes out, she always wants to get it, so that's why she tries to save money for it. That and because that's how Dean knows the way to her heart, Dr. Pepper and Harry Potter.
Sam is reading, as Dean is on the phone, as there was a knock on the door. As Amelia checks the door and sees that it is Bela. A scoff leaves her lips before she opens the door.
"Dear...God.." Bela says as Amelia and Sam sighs. "Are you actually, squatting? Charming. So, how did things go last night with Peter?" She asks, as neither of the four responded to what she said.
"That well, huh?" Bela asks.
"If you say, 'I told you so', I swear to God, I'll start swinging." Ana says which made the others turn to her as she was so quiet reading her book.
"Look, I think the five of us should have a heart-to-heart." Bela says.
"That's assuming if you have a heart." Dean says.
"Dean, please... I'm sorry about what I said before, okay? I come bearing gifts." Bela says.
"If it's not Dr. Pepper, I'm not interested." Ana grumbled as Bela gave her a look.
"She has a problem." Dean says to Bela.
"I've ID'd the ship." Bela says as she starts to unzip a portfolio file. "It's the Espírito Santo, a merchant sailing vessel, quite a colorful history. In 1859, a sailor was accused of treason. He was tied aboard ship in a kangaroo court and hanged. He as 37." Bela explains.
"Which would explain the 37-year cycle." Amelia says.
"Aren't you a sharp tack?" Bela asks as Amelia rolled her eyes. "There's a photo of him... here." She says, as she showed Amelia.
"Isn't that the customer we saw last night?" Amelia asked.
"You saw him?" Bela asked.
"Yeah, that's hum, except he was missing a hand." Ana says.
"His right hand?" Bela asks, as Ana looks at Bela.
"How'd you know?" Ana asks.
"The sailor's body was cremated, but not before they cut off his hand to make a hand of glory." Bela says.
"A hand of glory? I think I got one of those at the end of my massage that Annie gave me last week." Dean says with a laugh, as Ana's cheeks flushed pink when he said that.
"Dean, the right hand of a hanged man is a serious occult object. It's very powerful." Sam says.
"So, they say." Bela says.
"And officially counts as remains." Dean says.
"But still, none of this explains why the ghost is choosing these victims." Ana says.
"I'll tell you why. Who cares? Find the hand, burn it, and stop the bloody thing." Bela says.
"I don't get it. Why are you telling us all of this?" Amelia asked as she crosses her arms over her chest.
"Because I know exactly where the hand is." Bela says.
"Where?" Dean and Ana asked in unison, as they shared a small smile.
"At the Sea Pines Museum. It's a macabre bit of maritime history. But I need help." Bela says.
"I regret asking, but what kind of help?" Amelia asks as Bela smiles. "I hate you still, that won't change."
───※ ·❆· ※───
Bela is waiting in the motel for Dean, as no one else is around, minus Ana who is on her and Dean's bed. Bela is wearing an evening gown with quite a lot of glittery necklace. "What is taking so long? Sam's already halfway there, with his date." Bela says to Dean.
"I'm so not okay with this!" Dean says.
"Neither am I." Ana grumbles to the Talbot woman.
"What are you, a woman? Come down already." Bela says, as that's when Dean descends the stairs, as Bela sighs in appreciation. Ana has a small smile growing on her lips at seeing Dean like that.
"Alright, get it out -- I look ridiculous." Dean says as Ana shook her head, at what he said.
"Not exactly." Ana says as Dean turns to her.
"What?" Dean asked her as her smile on her face only grew.
"Let's go, Dean." Bela says as Ana rolled her eyes at the Talbot woman.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Bela and Dean, walk into, the museum, as Bela hands the invitation to the doorman. "Are you chewing gum?" Bela asks Dean, as there was a pause before he continues. "Try to behave as if you've lived this life before, yeah?" Bela says.
Dean looks around and takes out his gum and sticks it under the flowing champagne fountain. Bela looks appalled and rolls her eyes. Dean gives her a thumbs-up and they walk into the gathering.
Amelia is handing her invitation to the doorman which was obviously a fake invitation made by Ash. Her hair is down and curled as she walks over to Sam, who is in a tux, she laced her arm through his.
"Minus the rich people shit here, along with the somewhat creepy stuff, this place isn't half bad." Amelia says as Sam couldn't help but smile at what she said.
"I can think of better reasons of wearing a tux than to be here." Sam says.
"Oh, really. Care to enlighten me?" Amelia asked him, as he put his arm around her back to make it look convincing.
"You really wanna know?" Sam asked as he took a drink from his champagne that was in his hand.
"Since we're pretending to be with each other. What's yours is mine, so gimme." Amelia says as she snatched his champagne glass from him as she drunk it.
"You could've just asked. Not taking it." Sam says to her which made a smile appear on his lips.
"Oh, so now I need your permission to take your champagne, now?" Mia asked him as he gave her a teasing look.
"Maybe." Sam says to her which made her smile as when she finished what used to be his champagne, she gave him back the glass.
"Here you go." Mia says to him, as he tried not to laugh.
"Thanks for that."
"You're welcome." Mia says as Sam nudged her, which made a giggle escape from her lips. Dean and Bela came up behind Sam and the Harvelle girl. That's when Sam and Mia turned around and saw Dean and Bela.
"Not that I am complaining but how long do I have to entertain my date whole my champagne?" Sam asked as Dean smirked a little at what he said.
"As long as it takes." Bela says, as that's when Dean and Bela, walk off.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean and Bela are walking through a less crowded room, talking in undertones to each other. "Private security?" Bela says.
"I don't think so. Look, at the way they're standing. They're pros. Probably state troopers moonlighting." Dean says.
"Posted to every door, too." Bela says.
"Yeah, I don't think we're just going to be able to waltz upstairs." Dean says.
"What do you suggest." Bela asked the oldest Winchester.
"I'm thinking." Dean says.
"Don't strain yourself. Interesting how the legend is so much more than the man." Bela says.
"You got any bright ideas, I'm all ears." Dean says.
"Okay." Bela says as she groans and falls into Dean's arms towards the floor. Dean kneels down next to her.
"What seems to be the trouble?" A guard says as he approaches Bela and Dean.
"My wife, she's lightweight when it comes to the sauce. Is there somewhere I can lay her down till she gets her sea legs back?" Dean asked.
"Follow me." The guard says as he walks upstairs.
Dean groans as he lifts up Bela. "Come on, you lush."
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean lays Bela down unceremoniously on a red leather. "You think she's a pain in the ass now, try living with her." Dean says to the guard as behind him Bela's eyes open, as that's when the guard leaves, as Bela sits up. Dean tosses her black bag back to her. "Hey, maybe next time give me a little heads up with your plan?"
"I didn't want you thinking. You're not very good at that." Bela says to him, as Dean exhales. "Oh, look at you. Searching for a witty rejoinder."
"Screw you." Dean says.
"Very Oscar Wilde. Room 225. It's in a locked glass case wired with alarm. I'm sure that won't be a problem." Bela says.
"I'm sure that won't be a problem." Dean mumbles mockingly.
Sam and Amelia are dancing as music is playing. Sam has his arm around Mia but from a respectful distance. "I'm gonna bite." Amelia says as Sam looks down to her.
"I've seen you in your wolf form, and you do bite." Sam says as she only smirks at him.
"I do not. Can't believe you'd say that." Amelia says as that's when Sam moves his arm as he's gently holding her. "Much better." Amelia says to Sam. "I did some digging on Sheila, you Gert's niece."
"What did you find?" Sam asked her.
"Sheila was in a car accident when she was a teenager." Amelia says as Sam's eyes widen at hearing that. "Her car was flipped over, she was okay, but her cousin Brian was killed." Amelia says, as that's when Dean and Bela approach behind them.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Outside the Sea Pines Museum, in the parking lot. Dean, Sam and Amelia are getting into the Impala. "You got it, right?" Sam asked as Dean pulls something out of his pocket and starts unwrapping it, looking uptight.
"What?" Amelia asked, as Dean holds up the ship in the bottle that Bela was looking at in the office.
"I'm gonna kill her." Dean says.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The house that the four of them are squatting in is lit by candles. Dean is examining the ship-in-a-bottle by the light of one of the candles, as Ana is beside him. "You know what, you're right. I'm not gonna kill her. I think slow torture's the way to go."
"Dean, look, you gotta relax." Sam says.
"He doesn't know what 'relax' means." Ana says as Dean nudges her, as his lips were curling up into a small smirk.
"Oh, yeah, yeah, I'll relax. I can't believe she got another one over on us!" Dean says like a kid throwing a tantrum.
"You." Sam says as he looks up.
"What?" Dean asked.
"I...I mean, she got... one over... on you... not us." Sam says as a giggle leaves Ana's lips.
"Annie, not helping." Dean grumbles, as he turns back to his brother. "Thank you, Sam. Very helpful." Dean says as then there was a rapid knocking on the door.
"I wonder who that could be." Ana says as she opens the door. It was Bela.
Bela is sitting in a chair, as Dean is leaning over her, Sam is leaning against the mantel with a serious bitchface look on his face. "I sold it. I had a buyer lined up as soon as I knew it existed." She says as Dean looks furious.
"So, the whole reason that Dean and Sam had to go to the charity ball was a cover up." Ana says.
"He was convenient." Bela says.
"Look, you sold it to a buyer. Just buy it back." Sam says.
"It's halfway across the ocean. I can't get it back in time." Bela says.
"In time for what?" Dean asks, as Bela looks down without answering right away.
"What's going on with you, Bela? You look like you've seen a ghost." Sam says.
"I saw the ship." Bela says, as Ana and Amelia's eyes widen.
"You what?" Amelia asked.
"Wow, you know I -- I knew you were in immoral thieving con artist bitch, but just when I thought my opinion of you couldn't get any lower --" Dean says.
"What are you talking about?" Bela asked.
"We figured out the spirit's motive." Amelia says.
"This is the captain of our ship. The one who hung our ghost boy." Sam says, as he shows Bela a photograph.
"So?" Bela asked.
"So, they were brothers. Very Cain and Abel. So now our spirit, he's goin after a very specific kind of target -- people who've spilled their own family's blood." Ana says as Bela looks stunned. "See, there was Sheila who killed her cousin in the car accident, and the Warren brothers who murdered their father for the inheritance. And now you." Ana explains.
"Oh, my God." Bela says.
"So, who was it, Bela? Hmm? Who'd you kill? Was it Daddy? Your lil sis, maybe?" Dean asks.
"It's none of your business." Bela says.
"No? Right. Well, have a nice life -- you know, whatever's left of it." Dean says as he walks towards the door. "Guys, let's go." He says as he picks up his jacket as Bela stands up.
"You can't just leave me here." Bela says.
"Watch us." Dean says.
"Please." Bela says as Sam looks down. "I need your help."
"Our help? Now how could a couple of serial killers possibly help you?" Dean asked, as Ana gave him a look.
"Okay, that was a bit harsh, I admit it, but it doesn't warrant a death sentence." Bela says.
"That's not why you're gonna die. What'd you do, Bela?" Ana asked.
"You wouldn't understand. No one did. Never mind. I'll just do what I've always done, I'll deal with it myself." Bela says, as she turns to leave.
"You do realize you just sold the one thing that could save your life?" Dean asked her.
"I'm aware." Bela says sadly.
"Well..." Sam says with a sigh. "Maybe not the only thing." He says as Ana and Dean look at him.
───※ ·❆· ※───
It is nighttime, and the four of them also including Bela as she's huddling in her jacket. Ana is in a ritual circle: five candles, a pentagram, a bowl into which she pours a jar of red liquid. Another jar is on the opposite side of the circle, with what appears to be herbs in it. Ana places something else into the center of the circle.
"Do you really think this is going to work?" Bela asked.
Dean is leaning against a tombstone with a gun across his shoulder. "Almost definitely not."
Thunder crashes, wind whistles, rain starts pouring. Ana zips up her jacket, but fails to pull up her hood, as Dean stands up, looking around. "Aziel, Castiel, Lamisniel, Rabam. Ehrley, et balam, ego vos conuro, per deum vivum. Cuivos cuiaves eos supermontes, et per eum, qui adam, et avum formovit. Et per eum..." Ana says as she does the ritual.
The phantom approaches and throws Dean through the air, he hits an object with a painful thud. Ana looks up and continues reading latin. The phantom reaches out to Bela and places his hand on her face. Bela begins coughing up water. The spirit watches, Bela fall to her knees. Dean and Amelia staggers over to her, to help support her through her heaves. Bela continues to cough up the water. Suddenly the rain dies down. Bela is coughing but it isn't a bad as moments ago. A creaking sound is heard. The spirit's head slowly turns towards the source of the noise, and he sees his brother. The ghost charges his brother and the other spirit, and the two dissolve into screams and splash of water. Bela is no longer coughing up water.

The four of them are packing and getting ready to leave their squatted residency. The door opens and Bela walks in, as Ana indistinctively grabbed her gun and pointed it at Bela. "You guys should learn to lock your doors. Anyone could just barge in."
"That's funny because you just did. Why are you here anyway?" Ana asked as she cocked the gun that she has pointed at Bela.
"I've come to settle affairs, Annie. Giving the spirit what he really wanted, his own brother -- very clever, Ana. So here." Bela says as she tosses them each a packet of money. "It's ten thousand -- that should cover it." Bela says as the four of them look at the packets and then at Bela. "I don't like being in anyone's debt." The Talbot woman says.
"So ponying up ten grand is easier for you than a simple thank you?" Dean asks as Bela turns around faintly. Dean shakes his head. "You're so damaged."
"Takes one to know one." Bela says. "Goodbye." Bela says as she turns around and leaves.
"She's got style." Sam says. "You gotta give her that."
"I suppose." Dean says.
"You know, Dean, we don't know where this money's been." Sam says.
"I don't care I want Dr. Pepper." Ana says.
"Is that your answer for everything?" Amelia asked her friend.
"Only when I have money." Ana says with a smile on her face.
"You're gonna spend ten thousand dollars on Dr. Pepper?" Amelia asks.
"...no." Ana says to her friend. "Not all of it, at least a good thousand."
"Of course." Amelia says.
"But I know where it's going." Dean says to his brother.

The four of them are in the car, as Dean is driving as Ana is sitting up front with Dean, and Sam is in the back with Amelia. "Hey, listen, I've been doing some thinking. Um... I want you to know I understand why you did it. I understand why you went after the crossroads demon." Dean says to Sam, as Sam sighs. "You know, situation was reversed, I guess I would have done the same thing. I mean, I'm not blind, I see what you're going through with this whole deal, me going away and all that. But you're gonna be okay."
Sam looks up at Dean as he exhales. "You think so."
"Yeah, you'll keep hunting, y'know, you live your life. You're stronger than me. You are." Dean says as Sam clears his throat. "You'll get over it. But I want you to know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for... putting you through all this, I am."
"You know what, Dean? Go screw yourself." Sam says.
"What?" Dean asked his brother.
"I don't want an apology from you! And by the way, I'm a big boy now I can take care of myself." Sam says, as Amelia turns to Sam.
"Oh, well, excuse me." Dean mumbles.
"So, would you please quit worrying about me? I mean, that's the whole problem in the first place. I don't want you to worry about me, Dean. I want you to worry about you! I want you to give a crap that you're dying!" Sam says as Dean says nothing, but smirks annoyingly. "So, that's it? Nothing else to say for you?" He asked.
"I think maybe I'll play craps." Dean says, as Sam stares at him outraged, as he shakes his head, and sighs in exasperation, as Dean's smile fades.

The four of them have gotten to the motel room, as Amelia and Sam are sleeping, as Sam took the couch and Amelia has the bed, because Sam was nice enough of giving her the bed. Dean was finishing his shower that he was doing, as he put his shirt and pants back on, and walked out of the bathroom, but then stopped as there was a lack of Ana in the room. He walked towards the curtain of the window and saw a shadow sitting on the trunk of the impala, and he walked out of the motel room and towards the impala, that's when he saw it was Ana. He got on the trunk beside Ana and brough her into his arms, as he pressed a kiss on the top of her head. Dean didn't see it, but there were tears rolling down her cheeks, she is taking him going to Hell the worse at least in his opinion.
He always makes promises that he won't leave, but yet here he is having his life on the line, and he will be leaving her. He honestly doesn't think he deserve her if he is being honest. He didn't need to say anything to her, as neither did she. He just held her a little tighter as he leans his head on the top of hers. The two of them stayed there on the trunk of the impala watching the sky.
