{hook man}

It has been a couple days since, the shapeshifter hunt in St. Louis, and things have died down for a while which is a good thing. More so for Ana. She is currently having her head on Dean's shoulder, as he has an arm around her keeping her close. Even if Ana is clingy, he doesn't really mind it actually. Matter of fact he loves it. He loves feeling her body on his. Sam went to a payphone; they are still looking for John. At this point Ana is thinking that he doesn't want to be found, because he hasn't been the easiest person to find lately.

Dean is on Ana's computer about a hunt about a guy who was killed. Dean's arm that's around Ana is softly rubbing it. Ana takes a sip from her iced coffee which of course Dean got her, because he is that kind of boyfriend who gets his girlfriend an iced coffee.

"Alright, thank you for your time." Sam says as he hangs up and walks back to the table where Dean and Ana are.

"Your uh, half-caf, double vanilla latte, is getting cold over here, Francis." Dean says as Ana has a small smile on her face at what he said.

"Bite me." Sam grumbles as he sits back down in his seat.

"So, anything on dad?" Dean asks as Sam shakes his head.

"I had 'em check the FBI's Missing Persons Data Bank. No John Doe's fitting dad's description. I even ran his plates for traffic violations." Sam says, as Ana takes another sip from her iced coffee.

"Sam, I'm telling you. I don't think dad wants to be found." Dean says as for a moment Sam looks almost disappointed. "Check this out. Ana found this while you were gone." Dean says as he shows Sam an article on her computer about a guy named Rich. "It's a news article out of Planes Courier. Ankeny, Iowa. It's only about a hundred miles from here."

"The mutilated body was found near the victim's car, parked on 9 Mile Road." Sam reads.

"Keep going." Ana says, as she takes a bite from her bagel that once again Dean got her.

"Authorities are unable to provide a realistic description of the killer. The sole eyewitness, whose name has been withheld, is quoted as saying the attacker was invisible." Sam says as Ana took another bite from her bagel, along with a sip from her coffee.

"Could be something interesting." Dean says.

"Or it could be nothing at all. One freaked out witness who didn't see anything. Doesn't mean it's the Invisible Man." Sam says to Dean.

"But what if it is? Dad would check it out." Dean says, as a couple minutes later the three of them are in the Impala. Ana is reading a book on the way there, as she has her earbuds in as her MP3 player is playing music while she is reading.

───※ ·❆· ※───

A couple hours later, the car stops at the fraternity house where Rich lived. The other frat brothers are confused. Sam, Dean and Ana get out of the car. Ana has her sunglasses on and one earbud in.

"One more time, why are we here?" Sam asks as Ana blows a gum bubble, then pops it.

"Because this is where the dude lived, before he died. Keep up with the program." Ana says as Sam gives the red head a look, which only makes Ana grin.

The three of them walk up to some guys fixing on a car. "Nice wheels." Dean says, as they look up at Dean strangely. "We're your fraternity brothers, and she's, my girlfriend. We're from Ohio. We're new in town. Transfers. Looking for a place to stay." Dean says as he grins, as he has an arm around the small of her back.

Inside the dorm room, Ana snickered to herself at seeing a shirtless frat boy in yellow shorts painting his face and body purple. The brothers and Ana knock on the door.

"Who are you three?" The guy asks.

"We're your new roommates." Dean says as he smiles and walks over to the boy. The boy holds the brush, and paint can out to Dean.

"Do me a favor? Get my back. Big game today."

Dean points to Sam. "He's the artist. Things he can do with a brush." Dean says as Sam looks mortified, as he takes the brush and paint can. Dean sits on a chair and picks up a magazine, as Ana sits on the arm rest of the chair. "Murph. Is it true?"

"What?"

"We heard one of the guys around here got killed last week." Ana says.

"Yeah." Murph says sadly.

"What happened?" Dean asks.

"They're saying some psycho with a knife. Maybe a drifter passing through. Rich was a good guy." Murph says.

"Rich, was he with somebody?" Dean asks.

"Not just somebody. Lori Sorensen." Murph says as Dean has an arm around Ana, keeping her close, and so that she doesn't fall off the arm rest of the chair.

"Who's Lori Sorensen." Ana asks as Dean looks at Sam.

"You missed a spot. Just down there, on the back." Dean says, as Sam looks as Dean annoyed as Dean and Ana grin at the younger Winchester.

"Lori's a freshman. She's local. Super-hot. And get this: she's a reverend's daughter." Murph says.

"You wouldn't happen to know which church, would ya?" Dean asks.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Sam, Dean and Ana enter and the door slams behind them. The congregation goes silent and turns to look at them. The three of them sit down in empty chairs. A girl stares at Sam who smiles weakly at her. Everyone bows their head in prayer, except Dean. Ana nudges him, and Dean looks around noticing everyone else, and he does the same.

A couple minutes later, the mass ends as the congregation are slowly walking out of the church. Ana has always been a bit iffy about churches, it's not like she isn't religious, but she just doesn't have a relationship with Jesus Christ and God. That and she never really went to church growing up, so that probably doesn't really help either.

"Are you Lori?" Dean asks, as Ana was behind the brothers.

"Yeah." Lori says to Dean.

"My name is Sam; this is my brother Dean." Sam says as Dean waves. "Then behind Dean is Ana." Ana does a fake salute in a greeting.

"Hi." Ana says.

"We just transferred here to the university." Sam says, as from behind Ana and Dean interlocked their hands.

"I saw you inside." Lori says.

"We don't want to bother you. We just heard about what happened, and... we wanted to say how sorry we are." Sam says. "I kind of know what you're going through. I-I saw someone, get hurt once. It's something you don't forget." Sam says as Lori nods her head slightly, then Lori's father walks up to them.

"Dad, um, this is Sam, Dean and Ana. They're new students." Lori says as Dean shakes the reverend's hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, sir. I must say, that was an inspiring sermon." Dean says.

"Thank you very much. It's so nice to find young people who are open to the Lord's message." The reverend says, as Ana tried her best not to roll her eyes at what he said.

"Listen, uh, we're new in town, actually." Dean says as he leads the reverend away from Sam and Lori. Ana follows Dean, as her hand is still interlocked with his. "And uh, we were looking for a, um, a church group."

───※ ·❆· ※───

"So, you believe her?" Ana asks, as her and the brothers are at a library.

"I do." Sam says. "There was something in her eyes. And listen to this: she heard scratching on the roof. Found the bloody body suspended upside down over the car."

"That is the Hook Man legend. It is one of the most famous urban legends ever. But you don't think we're dealing with the Hook Man." Ana says.

"Every urban legend has a source. A place where it all began." Sam says.

"Yeah, but what about the phantom scratches and the tire punctures and the invisible killer?" Dean asks.

"Well, maybe the Hook Man isn't a man at all. What if it's some kind of spirit?" Sam asks.

The three of them are now at a library. The librarian places a few big boxes in front of them.

"Here you go. Arrest records going back to 1851." The librarian says as Dean blows some dust off a box and coughs.

"Thanks." Ana says as she fans out some of the dust with her hand.

"So, this is how you spend four good years of your life, huh?" Dean asks.

"Welcome to higher education." Sam says, as they each grabbed a book and started reading.

───※ ·❆· ※───

"Hey, guys check this out." Ana says as Dean and Sam move towards her, on both sides of her. "1862. A preacher named Jacob Karns was arrested for murder. Looks like he was so angry over the red-light district that one night he killed 13 prostitutes. Uh, right here, 'some of the deceased were found in their bed, sheets soaked with blood. Others suspended upside down from the limbs of trees as a warning against sins of the flesh."

Ana goes to another page. "Get this, the murder weapon? Looks like the preacher lost his hand in an accident. Had it replaced with a silver hook."

"Look where all of this happened." Dean says as Ana sees what Dean was talking about.

"9 Mile Road." Ana says. "Same place where the frat boy was killed."

"Let's check it out." Dean says, as they all gather their research, and they leave.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean, Sam and Ana drive up and get out of the car, Dean opens the drunk and hands Ana and Sam a rifle. "Here you go." Dean says.

"If it's a spirit, buckshot won't do much good." Sam says.

"It's rock salt, dummy."

"I'm not a dummy."

"Sam be nice to Ana, she did nothing wrong."

"It won't kill the spirit, but it will slow it down." Ana says to Sam regarding the rock salt."

"That's pretty good. You and Dad think of this?" Sam asks, as Ana shook her head.

"You don't need to go to college to be a genius?"

The three of them start walking towards the trees. Then there is a noise among the trees and the three of them stop walking. Sam raises his gun and looks around. Sam aims the gun and cocks it, then a figure comes out from behind the trees, Ana swiftly got her pocket knife out of her pocket. Even if it won't do much.

"Put the gun down now! Now! Put your hands behind your head."

"W-w-wait, okay, okay!"

"Now get on your knees. Come on, do it! On your knees!" The officer says as the three of them put their guns on the ground. "On your stomachs. Come on, do it!"

"He had the gun!" Dean exclaims as he points to Sam as the three of them lay down.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them are leaving the sheriff's department, thanks to Dean as he talked his way out of getting them sent to jail. Which is a good thing, because Ana has been to juvenile detention before, and she doesn't want to go back to it.

"Saved your ass! Talked the sheriff down a fine. Dude, I am Matlock."

"So, are you Batman or Matlock."

"Uh, is there an option for both of them."

"Do I want to know how you talked your way of this, or should I be concerned." Sam says as both Dean and Ana give the younger Winchester a look.

"Rude." The couple mutter under their breaths as they do their fist-bump that they do.

"I said that you were hunting ghosts, and the spirits were repelled by rock salt. You know, typical Hell Week prank." Dean says.

"And he believed you?" Sam asked his brother.

"Well, you look like a dumbass pledge." Dean says as moments later a group of sheriffs run out of the building and speed away in police cars.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them park the impala on another street. They get out and walk around to the back of Lori's sorority house. "Why would the Hook Man come here? This is a long way from 9 Mile Road."

"Maybe he's not haunting the scene of his crime. Maybe it's about something else." Dean says, as two sorority girls come out the side entrance of the building, but they don't see Ana, Dean and Sam.

Sam is trying to climb onto the balcony of the house. Dean helps him up, then he helps Ana up, then after Ana gets in the window, he them climbs himself up. Once they are up there, they sneak in Lori's window. Dean seems to fall on top of Sam by getting in the window.

"Oh, sorry!" Dean says.

"Be quiet!"

"You be quiet!"

"No, you be quiet!"

"Enough, children!"

"Yes, Ana."

Ana the three of them are in the bedroom, and they see writing on the wall. "'Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the light', that's right out of the legend." Ana says.

"Yeah, that's the classic Hook Man legend alright." Dean says.

"Yeah, I've never smelled ozone this strong before." Ana says as Dean moves over to the window. "Hey, come here." Ana says as Dean walks over to Ana. She points to the cross symbol beneath the writing. "Does that look familiar to you?"

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them are next to the car. They are looking at a picture of the cross symbol that they found during their research. Well, more like Ana's research.

"It's the same symbol. Seems like it is the spirit of Jacob Karns." Sam says.

"Alright, let's find the dude's grave, salt and burn the bones, and put him down." Ana says.

"After execution, Jacob Karns was laid to rest in an Old North Cemetery. In an unmarked grave." Sam says as he reads, then he looks up and sees the annoyed look on Dean and Ana's faces.

"Super." The couple say in unison as they do their fist-bump.

"Okay, so we know it's Jacob Karns. But we still don't know where he'll manifest next. Or why." Sam says.

"I'll take a wild guess about why. I think your little friend Lori has something to do with this." Dean says as now the three of them get into the car.

───※ ·❆· ※───

At a college party, Dean walks up to Sam. "Hey." Sam says, as per usual Ana has a whiskey glass in her hand.

"Man, you've been holding out on me. This college thing is awesome!" Dean says as he has an arm around Ana.

"This wasn't really my experience." Sam says.

"Let me guess. Libraries, studying, straight A's." Ana says, as she hands Dean the whiskey glass and he takes a sip from it before he handed it back to Ana.

"Geek. Alright, you do your homework?" Dean asks.

"Yeah. It was bugging me, right? So, how is the Hook Man tied up with Lori? So, I think I came up with something." Sam says as he unravels a piece of paper.

"1932. Clergyman arrested for murder. 1697. Seminarian held in hippie rampage." Dean says.

"There's a pattern here. In both cases, the suspect was a man of religion who openly preached against humanity. And then found himself wanted for killings he claimed were the work of an invisible force. Killings carried out--get this--with a sharp instrument."

"What's the connection to Lori?" Dean asks.

"A man of religion. She is the reverend's daughter. A reverend is a preacher in a sense." Ana says, as Dean nods his head at her.

"You think he's summoning the spirit?" Sam asks.

"Maybe. Or you know how a poltergeist can haunt a person instead of a place?" Dean asks.

"Yeah, the spirit latches onto the reverend's repressed emotions, feeds off them, yeah." Ana says as she is the lore geek.

"Without the reverend ever even knowing it." Sam says.

"Either way, you should keep an eye on Lori tonight." Dean says as Sam nods his head.

"What about you two?" Sam asks, as Ana had walked off as she is by a pool table.

"Uh, apparently going to get Ana before she gets herself drunk." Dean says. "After I get Miss Whiskey, I'm going to see if I can find that unmarked grave." Dean says as he walks away towards Ana who was hustling a group of guys in pool.

Minutes later, Ana scored $480 dollars, because it was thirty dollars per hit, and she hustled the guys who lost almost five hundred dollars, to a girl.

After Ana was done hustling guys, she of course whisked a whiskey bottle from a table and her and Dean walked out of the sorority house, so they can go to the unmarked grave.

"How drunk are you?" Dean asks as he knows that if Ana was in college she would either be in a library reading lore or in the party scene getting drunk and hustling people. "How many fingers am I holding?" Dean asks.

"You want me to figure that out? It's dark and my head is going to hurt in a couple hours. You're crazy." Ana says to Dean as he has a small smile at seeing his drunk girlfriend.

"Yeah, you're still good. Two options, you can help dig or sit your pretty ass on the ground." Dean says, as Ana gives him a look as she subtly takes a sip from the whiskey. "You're going to sit and let me do the heavy stuff aren't you?" Dean asks as Ana nods her head.

"Unless you want me to hit your head...again." Ana says as there was a painful memory of a year ago, when Dean and Ana were on a hunt and they were burning bones in a grave, and Ana had accidentally hit Dean in the head with the shovel. It was a painful memory that he has to remember, each time that Ana has a shovel. From, that moment on, he stays at least four feet away from Ana whenever she has a shovel in her hands. He doesn't want to get hit again. Ever.

"Please don't hit me."

"Exactly, why I am sitting."

"You're lucky you're cute, princess." Dean says to Ana who took another drink from the whiskey bottle with her innocent smile on her face. "That's bullshit, you're not innocent, so nice try."

"I am too innocent; you're just being a meanie." Ana says to Dean, who only gave her a side-eyed look.

"Annie, behave or no more whiskey." Dean says as he has a serious face, but he is trying not to smile at seeing Ana's pout when he said that.

"But Dean..." Ana says like a whiny kid, as Dean sighs mentally counting down for the puppy dog eyes that Ana uses to purposely guilt trip him with, to make him feel sorry.

"No butts, Annie. Behave or no whiskey." Dean says, as Ana gives Dean a tiny glare as he threatened to take away her whiskey.

"Okay..." Ana mutters under her breath like she is being scolded by a mother. Well, in this case, her mother is Dean.

Dean sighs knowing that she is guilt tripping him, purposely, she is wanting him to feel sad for threatening to take away her whiskey so that she has to behave. "Annie, don't do this. Behave."

"Okay, bossy." Ana mutters under her breath, as Dean shook his head as he rolled his eyes at her.

───※ ·❆· ※───

At the Old North Cemetery, Dean has been digging at the unmarked grave for a while. It probably wouldn't take so long but someone is actively sitting on the ground and giggling at him. Ana is so lucky that she is cute, otherwise he'd make her do this. "That's it. Next time, I'm having Sam do the heavy stuff." Dean says as he breaks through the wooden floor of the grave and sees Jacob Karns' remains. "Hello, preacher." He says as he throws the shovel aside.

Dean takes a few items out of his bag and pours salt and lighter fluid on the preacher's bones then lights a match. "Goodbye preacher." He says as he throws the match into the grave and watches the bones burn into flames.

───※ ·❆· ※───

At the hospital Reverend Sorensen is in a hospital bed and Lori is standing by her father's side. Sam is talking to the sheriff. "We were just talking. Then Lori's dad came out, and then he appeared."

"A big man?" The sheriff asked. "Carrying a weapon, some kind of hook?"

"Yes, sir." Sam confirms.

"Ever seen him before?" The sheriff asks.

"No, sir." Sam says with a shake of his head.

"Son, it seems like every time I turn around, I'm seeing you. I suggest you try to stay out of trouble." The sheriff says as Sam nods his head.

"Yes, sir." Sam says as Dean, and Ana along with two sheriffs are walking down the hall.

"No, it's alright. He's with me, and her. He's, my brother." Dean says to the two sheriffs. Sam and the sheriff turn to see Dean and Ana. Dean waves and smiles.

"Let them through." The sheriff says as the two sheriffs let Dean and a drunk Ana through.

"Thanks." Dean says, as Dean and Ana, walk towards each other. "You, okay?"

"Yeah." Sam says as Dean keeps an arm around Ana, who is wearing her sunglasses.

"What the hell happened?" Dean asks his brother.

"Hook Man." Sam says.

"You saw him?" Dean asks.

"Damn right. Why didn't you torch the bones?" Sam asks.

"What are you talking about I did. You sure, it's the spirit of Jacob Karns?" Dean asks his brother.

"It sure as hell looked like him. And that's not all. I don't think the spirit is latching onto the reverend." Sam says.

"Well, yeah, the guy wouldn't send the Hook Man after himself." Dean says, stating the obvious.

"I think it's latching onto Lori. Last night, she found out her father is having an affair with a married woman." Sam says, as Ana's eyes widened a little at hearing that.

"So, what?" Dean asks.

"So, she's upset about it. She's upset about the immortality of it. She told me she was raised to believe that if you do something wrong, you get punished." Sam says as Ana nods her head, as she leaned her head onto Dean's shoulder.

"Okay, so she's conflicted. And the spirit of Preacher Karns is latching on to repress the emotions and maybe he's doing the punishing for her, huh?" Dean says.

"Right. Rich comes on too strong. Taylor tries to make her into a party girl. Dad has an affair." Sam says.

"Remind me not to piss this girl off. But I burned those bones. I buried them in salt, why didn't that stop him?" Dean says.

"You must have missed something." Sam says.

"No, I burned everything in that coffin." Dean says, as he interlocked his and Ana's hand.

"Did you get the hook?" Sam asks.

"The hook?" Ana and Dean ask in unison as they do their fist-bump

"Well, it was the murder weapon, and in a way, it was part of him." Sam says

"So, like the bones, the hook is a source of power." Dean says.

"So, if we find the hook..."

"We stop the Hook Man.." The brothers say as they smile at each other.

"How drunk is she?" Sam asks Dean, as Dean looks at Ana.

"Other than the fact she needs to sober up a bit, she isn't that bad." Dean tells his brother as Sam nods his head.

"This is why you should have a leash on Ana. So, she doesn't wander off and get drunk."

"This is why no one should bring me to a sorority house, in general." Ana pipes up as Dean nudges her, with a tiny glare on his face. "What, if anything it is your fault."

"It isn't my fault. You walked to the pool table by yourself and hustled the guys there."

Ana giggles at Dean. "They lost to a girl. That's funny."

"How does she know how to play pool?" Sam asks his brother.

"I taught her." Dean says as it was the truth, he was the one who taught Ana how to play pool. Also, he is the one who taught her how to hustle people.

"Course, that's why she hustled those guys." Sam says to his older brother, who grins.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them are in a library, as the brothers are looking through more papers. "Here's something. I think. Logbook. Iowa State Penitentiary. Karns, Jacob. Personal affects: disposition thereof."

"Does it mention the hook?" Sam asks.

"Yeah, maybe." Dean says. "Upon execution, all earthly items shall be remanded to the prisoner's house of worship, St. Barnabas Church."

"Isn't that where Lori's father preaches?" Ana pipes up even if she isn't really paying attention that much.

"Yeah."

"Where Lori lives?" Sam asks.

"Maybe that's why the Hook Man has been haunting reverends and reverends daughters for the past 200 years." Dean says.

"Yeah, but if the hook were at the church or Lori's house, don't you think someone might've seen it? I mean, a bloodstained, silver-handled hook?" Sam asks.

"Check the church records." Dean says.

"St. Barnabas donations, 1862. Received silver-handled hook from state penitentiary. Reforged." Sam reads. "They melted it down. Made it into something else."

───※ ·❆· ※───

"Alright, we can't take any chances. Anything silver goes into the fire." Dean says, as the three of them are at the church. The brothers get out of the car and leave a sleeping Ana who is knocked out in the car.

"I agree. So, Lori's still at the hospital. We'll have to break in." Sam says.

"Alright, take your pick." Dean says.

"I'll take the house."

"Okay." Dean says as he looks back in the car and seeing Ana asleep. Then he turned back around. "What? She'll be fine, trust me."

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean is in the church basement throwing everything into silver, as Sam comes back downstairs with a bag of things from Lori's house.

"I got everything that even looked like silver." Sam says.

"Better safe than sorry." Dean says as they throw everything in the fire. Suddenly, the brothers hear footsteps above them. "Move. Move." Dean says as him and Sam goes upstairs.

Upstairs in the church, Dean and Sam see that Lori is sitting in a church pew alone. Dean lowers his gun and goes back downstairs, as Sam walks over to Lori.

Minutes later Sam leads Lori to the basement, but the Hook Man is behind it, and he pushes his hook through the door. Sam and Lori run down the aisle and into a back room. The Hook Man follows them and smashes the glass of another door with his hook. He swings at Sam a few times but misses each time.

The Hook Man chases the two of them around the room and finally hooks Sam in the shoulder. Sam screams in pain, and an invisible force drags Lori on her back across the floor. Sam runs over to her. The Hook Man appears and knocks Sam backwards into a wall. He gets up and maneuvers behind the Hook Man, who is standing over Lori. Dean suddenly enters with his gun raised.

"Sam! Drop!" Dean exclaims as Sam crouches down and Dean shoots the Hook Man once. He disappears into dust.

"I thought we got all the silver." Sam says.

"So did I." Dean says.

"Then why is he still here?" Sam asks.

"Well, maybe we missed something." Dean says as they look around. Sam notices a cross necklace that Lori is wearing.

"Lori, where did you get that chain?" Sam asks.

"My father gave it to me." Lori says.

"Where'd your dad get it?" Dean asks.

"He said it was a church heirloom; he gave it to me when I started school." Lori says.

"Is it silver!" Sam exclaims.

"Yes!" Lori exclaims as Sam rips the chain off around her neck.

In the hallway, the Hook Man who is now invisible, is making a long scratch on the wall. Dean turns around to look at it. "Sam!" Dean yells as he throws Sam the rifle and the rock salt and Sam tosses Dean the necklace. Dean runs back downstairs. Sam aims the gun at the scratch that is being made and shoots. He quickly reloads the gun with rock salt.

Dean runs downstairs and throws Lori's necklace into the fire. Sam is still loading the gun with his injured hand and shoulder. The Hook Man appears and knocks the rifle out of Sam's hand. Sam and Lori crawl into the corner and watch the Hook Man tower over them.

In the basement the cross pendant breaks off the chain and melts. The Hook Man stops with his hook in the air. The hook melts and the rest of his body burns into nothing. Dean runs upstairs to make sure the Hook Man is gone. He walks over to Sam and Lori and gives them a knowing look.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Sheriffs are walking around and there is an ambulance parked outside. "And you saw him too? The man with the hook?" The sheriff asks the eldest Winchester.

"Yes, I told you, we all saw him. We fought him off and then he ran." Dean says.

"And that's all?" The sheriff asks.

"Yeah, that's all." Dean says to the sheriff.

"Listen. You and your brother--" The sheriff starts but got interrupted by Dean.

"Oh, don't worry. We're leaving down." Dean says as he walks over to the impala where Ana is still asleep in the backseat. "Hey, baby girl." Dean says, as he leaned in the back and rubbed Ana's leg as she was asleep.

When he turned around, he is watching Sam and Lori through his side mirror. Dean watches through the mirror and notices Sam just walking away without another word. Sam walks to the impala and gets in the passenger seat.

"We could stay." Dean says as Sam shakes his head at his brother. Dean watches Lori looking sad through the mirror. He shakes his head in disappointment and drives away to the motel.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The next day, like predicted Ana is hungover from her being drunk the night before at the sorority house. She is on the bed, as Dean had moved the whiskey bottle that she had from last night away and out of her reach so that she couldn't find it and get more drunk. Dean came back from his shower with the towel wrapped around his torso, Ana is flipping through the channels on the TV.

She rolls her eyes at seeing nothing interesting on TV. "Seriously, there is nothing on." Ana says annoyed, as Dean gives her a kiss on the top of her head.

"You were flipping through the channels before I got into the shower and when I come out of the shower, you're still flipping through the channels." Dean says as he goes to his duffel bag to get some clothes.

"Shut up." Ana grumbles underneath her breath, as Dean chuckles to himself, as he is putting on a t-shirt.

Sam is on his bed reading a lore book as it is a lazy day. Dean had patched up Sam's shoulder where the Hook Man had got him last night. Hence why some of the whiskey from the bottle is gone. Dean used the whiskey to disinfect the whiskey. He did that while Ana was asleep so she wouldn't be drinking the bottle and keeping it away from Dean.

"Someone's grumpy." Dean says to Ana, as he turned his head and saw the glare that she was giving him. "Are you mad, because I took your whiskey from you?" He says slightly teasing her knowing that she is matter of fact grumpy because he took away the whiskey. "You're fine, Annie, you don't need anymore."

"I don't like you anymore." Ana mutters under her breath, but it was loud enough for Dean to hear it. He turned his head to Ana, who ended up clicking on a TV show.

"What was that? I didn't hear you." Dean says to Ana as she gives him a glare, which only makes her look adorable, more so because she is hungover, and she is adorable when she is looking mad.

Though however, there have been some instances when she does get mad, and it scares him. Though he does have to say, when she is mad, it is actually hot. But he wouldn't say that and then get smacked.

"I said I don't like you anymore." Ana says loud enough for him to hear what she said. Dean has a cheeky grin on his face, that only makes her narrow her eyes at Dean.

"You're lucky you're cute, and Sam is here, otherwise I'd pin you against that wall, next to you." Dean says as Sam doesn't look up but there is a smile on his face as he had overheard this whole thing go down. To say he is amused by all of this is funny.

"Whatever." Ana grumbles under her breath, as she looked at Dean with a small smirk on her face. Dean only shook his head at her. Sometimes she can be a pain in his ass and make him want to rip out his hair out of his head. But he wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. He loves her.

Forever and always.
