{fresh blood}

The four of them are walking quickly through an alley, shining their flashlights around. They spot a pool of blood and walk over to it, to find a man lying bleeding out but conscious on the ground. He has been bitten in the neck, the four of them crouched over him.

"Hey, hey. Don't worry. We're gonna call you some help, okay?" Sam asks.

"Where is she? Where'd she go?!" Dean exclaims as the man gestures vaguely down the alley. Sam stays with the man as Ana runs off in that direction. She stops in the middle of another alley, and she sees no one. She raises the machete, pulls up her sleeve, and took a deep breath before she draws the machete across her left forearm, drawing blood, she holds her bleeding arm up.

"Smell that?! Come and get it!" Ana exclaims as a young woman emerges from a side alley and stares at her, her chin is covered in blood. "That's right. Come on. I smell good." The vampire charges, as she grabs her and just before the woman can sink her teeth into Ana's neck, Ana whips out a syringe and plunges it into the girl's neck. She convulses and falls to the ground, unconscious.

The three of them come running, they look at the girl on the ground. "Not bad, baby." Dean says to her.

───※ ·❆· ※───

In the dingier room than they usually occupy, old mattresses are lined the walls, blocking out all external light. The vampire whose face is still covered with blood, is tied to a chair in the middle of the room. The brothers stand over her chair as Ana has the syringe of the dead man's blood in her hand. "You with us?" Dean asks as he leans over her, as she wakes up fully, and struggles against her bonds. "Oh, yeah, sorry. You're not going anywhere."

"Where's your nest?" Sam asked.

The woman looks at Sam confused. "What?" She asks.

"Your nest... where you and the other blood suckers hang out." Ana says.

"I don't know what you're talking about." The woman says as Ana rolls her eyes. "Please! I don't feel good."

"Yeah, well, you're gonna feel a hell of a lot worse if we give you another shot of dead man's blood." Ana says as she holds up the syringe that's in her hand.

"Just let me go." The woman says.

"Yeah, you know we can't do that." Sam says laughing a little.

"I'm telling the truth. I'm just... I took something. I'm freaking out! I don't know what's going on!" The woman says.

"You took something?" Dean asks.

"Yes! I can't... come down. I just want to come down." The woman says freaking out.

"What's your name?" Ana asked.

"Luci. Please. Just let me go."

"Alright, Lucy, how about this? If you tell us what happened, we'll let you go." Sam says.

"You will?" She asks, as she looks at Dean who nods and smiles in a completely sincere way, then shoots Sam a confused look over her head. "Uh, I don't really... um, it's, it's not that clear. I was at Spider."

"At what?" Ana asks.

"The club, on Jefferson. And there was this guy... he was buying me drinks." Lucy says.

"This guy... what did he look like?" Sam asked.

"He was old, like thirty. He had brown hair and a leather jacket... uh, Deacon or Dixon or something. Said he was a dealer... he had something for me."

"What was it?" Ana asked.

"Something new. 'Better than anything you've ever tried'. He put a few drops in my drink." Lucy says.

"Was the drug red and thick?" Dean asks, as she nods, as Dean and Ana share a look. Ana shakes her head in disbelief. "Well, genius move there. That was vampire blood he dosed you with."

"What?" Lucy asks.

"You took a big steamin' shot of the nastiest virus out there." Ana says.

"You're crazy! He gave me roofies or something! No... the next thing I know, we're at his place, and he says he's gonna get me something to eat, just wait. But I get so hungry." Lucy says.

"So, you busted out?" Dean asks.

Lucy nods her head. "But it won't wear off... whatever he gave me?"

"Lights too bright? Sunshine hurts your skin?" Ana asks.

"Yeah, and smells. And I can hear... blood pumping." Lucy says.

"Well, I hate to tell you this, sweetheart, but your blood's never pumping again." Dean says as Lucy shakes her head.

"Not mine... hers. I can hear a heart beating from half a block away. I just want it to stop." Lucy says as Ana looked up when Lucy talked about her.

"Alright, listen, Wavy Gravy. It's not going to stop. You've already killed two people, almost three." Dean says.

"No, I couldn't. No, I was hallucinating!" Lucy says as she sobs.

"You killed them, alright? We've been following a sloppy trail of corpses, and it leads straight to you." Ana says.

"No. No, it wasn't real! It was the drug! Please! Please, you have to help me!" Lucy says as the three of them step out of the room. "No, no."

Ana is beside Dean. "Poor girl." Sam says as the three of them are in the next room.

"We don't have a choice." Dean says, as Sam sighs and shakes his head as Ana just stands there silently, as Dean takes his machete back in the room.

"No... please!" Lucy screams as Sam grabs Ana and covers her ears, as Dean had cut off Lucy's head with the machete as there was a thump, as Sam flinches.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The four of them exit Spider, which is a club with red lights and people drinking, as Dean and Sam looks frustrated, as Dean has his arm around Ana. "That was a big, fat waste of time."

"Three blondes have gone missing, including Lucy, all last sighted here. I'm telling you, baby, this is the hunting ground." Ana says, as across the way, Dean sees a thirty something man duck into an alley with his arm around a young blonde.

"Hey." Dean says pointing to them out to Ana, as the four of them follow the man and the woman.

───※ ·❆· ※───

In the alley across from the club, the man holds up a dropper full of a red liquid, and the girl giggles. "You're sick." She says laughing.

"You ready, sweetie? One taste of this, and you'll never be the same." The man says, as he raises the dropper, and she opens her mouth and sticks her tongue out to catch the drops. But before any can fall in, Dean grabs the man's arm, pulls it down, and clocks him in the face. Sam pulls the girl away and shoves her towards the mouth of the alley.

"Get out of here, go!" Sam says as she runs away as the vampire hurls Ana into a brick wall, then takes off at a run. Dean goes over and helps her up.

"You okay, baby?" Dean asked her knowing that the answer probably will be a yes, as she then gave him a look.

"What do you think?" She quipped as he grinned at what she said.

"You're still good." Dean says as Ana rolled her eyes a bit.

"Do you wanna get hit now or later?" Ana asked, as Dean helped her up.

"I'd take my chances." Dean says to her, as he pressed a kiss on the top of her head, as they took off after the vampire along with Sam and Amelia, as they hurtle around the corner, the vampire is nowhere in sight. But facing them with their guns at their sides are Gordon and Kubrick, as Gordon raises his gun.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Gordon and Kubrick advance towards the four of them, with bullets going in every direction. They dive behind parked cards and manage to entirely avoid getting shot. They duck behind a wall and crouch, panting, as Gordon and Kubrick reload their guns. "Alright, run. I'll draw them off." Dean says as Ana turns her head towards Dean and giving him a look.

"The fuck you are. Are you crazy?" Ana asked Dean, as he ignored her, and darts out into the line of fire, leaps on top of a car, and uses it to get over a second-story parking lot entrance. Kubrick follows him, as Gordon stays behind and heads for where Sam, Amelia and Ana were hiding. As he rounds a corner, a figure leaps down on him from above, sending him sprawling. It is the vampire; he kicks Gordon in the face several times and knocks him out.

Since the three of them have gotten back to the motel, Ana has been pacing, because Dean hasn't answered her texts or phone calls, and she's been feeling like she's lost her mind. What tore her from her thoughts, was hearing a car door shut, the fact she knows it is Dean, says a lot. She walked outside and practically slammed the door on the way out, which caught Dean off guard, as when he looked up and saw Ana looking pissed, he knew that he fucked up. She had her arms crossed over her chest, as she gave him a look filled with disappointment, which hurt more than anything. "Annie--" Dean starts but Ana cut him off before he could finish what he was going to say.

"Don't." She snapped which stopped him completely dead in his tracks. He honestly deserved it, if he is being honest. He deserved the disappointed and angry look. Is angry good enough to describe how she is feeling? More like beyond livid, is better. Something like that.

"I'm sorry..." Dean says to her which is awfully quiet, which also doesn't help because of the gap between them, as she continues to give him that look that honestly scares him if he's being honest. What makes it worse is that she's disappointed in him, which is honestly valid as he deserves it on so many levels. That is probably the only thing that he deserves if he is being honest. He doesn't deserve anything else. Sometimes he thinks he doesn't deserve her.

Because out of all of the girls that he's been with, and all of them that he's slept with for that matter, she is the only one who not only stayed, but knocked some sense into his head, she is the only one who calls him out on his bullshit, not to mention the occasionally scaring him a little.

Especially right now, seeing her like this, this mad, and also not to mention because he is the cause of her being this mad is tearing at him. Not to mention above it all, she is the only person that made him feel truly loved, sort of like how a mother is supposed to love her children.

"I know what I did was stupid, I get that, I do, but I am sorry, okay, baby." Dean says to her as she narrowed her eyes as she sighed, which at least he got a reaction out of her, but it doesn't really help. "I probably deserve this if I am being honest." Dean says as that's when Ana walked towards him and he honestly panicked inside of him.

Once Ana got in front of Dean, she took a deep breath to calm to calm herself down. Before she pulled Dean into a hug, as Dean didn't hesitate of hugging her tighter, as he wrapped his arms around her. "I know, baby...I'm sorry." Dean says to her as he pressed a kiss on the top of her head. For a couple moments, neither of them said anything, as Dean just held her.

What made him break the hug was hearing her sniffling her nose, as he pulled away, and gently wiped her tears that were on her face. He then pressed a kiss on her lips, as in the kiss he felt her lip quivering a little. "I thought you died, Dean. I tried calling you and messaging you, and nothing for a whole fricken hour." Ana says as that's when she slapped his shoulder which made him slightly wince.

"Hey, hey, no need to get violent." He says to Ana as he grabbed her hands before she could hit him again, which was honestly a mistake because she can still kick him. "How about this... no more stupid ass decisions?" Dean says to her as she gave him a glare not believing a single one of those words. "Yeah, that wouldn't happen."

"How about just don't get yourself almost killed next time." Ana says as the two of them shared another kiss. After the two of them broke the kiss, they went back inside the motel room where Amelia and Sam were.

───※ ·❆· ※───

"Sorry, I stopped for a slice." Dean says as Sam and Amelia glare at the oldest Winchester.

"Nice move you pulled back there, Dean, running at the weapons!" Sam says.

"Well, what can I say? I'm a bad ass." Dean says as he continues to ignore Sam and Amelia's facial expressions on their faces. "So, I guess Gordon's out of jail."

"Yeah, how did you know?" Amelia sarcastically said to Dean which made him look at her.

"You know, how the hell did he know where to find us?" Sam asked his brother.

"Bela." Ana says as that's when she grabbed her phone and dialed the Talbot woman's phone number and called her. "So, when you called Dean yesterday, it wasn't to thank us for saving your ass, was it?" Ana asked as she was already in a bad mood, more so because of Dean running off, but now because of Bela she was in a worse mood. "Tell me, bitch. Now." Ana sneers at the Talbot woman when she didn't respond at first.

"Calm, down Annie. Gordon Walker paid me to tell him where you guys were." Bela says.

"Course he did." Ana grumbled with a scoff that left her lips, along with an eyeroll.

"He had a gun on me. What else was I supposed to do?" Bela says as she was laughing as Ana was getting more pissed off by the second.

"I don't know, maybe pick up the phone and tell us that there is a fucking psychopath was dropping by!" Ana snapped at Bela, which made Amelia flinch at hearing Ana.

"Ah, I did fully intend on calling. I just got a bit... sidetracked." Bela says.

"He tried to kill us, thank you very fucking much!" Ana snapped again. "I haven't been this pissed off in a long time, just so you know."

"That's right, because Gordon told me that you and Dean... broke up a while ago. How is that going?" Bela asked the redhead woman. "I didn't realize it was such a big deal. After all, there are four of you and one of him." Bela says as she rolled her eyes, which only made Ana madder right now.

"There were two of them." Ana says before she continues. "If we make it out of this alive, the first thing I'm gonna do is kill you." Ana says.

"You're not serious." Bela says, as that's when Dean took Ana's phone.

"Listen to her voice and tell me if she's serious." Dean says as he hangs up the phone before he gave it back to Ana.

───※ ·❆· ※───

A little while later, Dean is sharpening his machete on a whetstone as Ana was loading her gun beside him. "That vampire's still out there, Dean." Sam says as he is cleaning his gun.

"First things first." Dean says.

"Gordon." Ana says.

"About that. When we find him, or if he finds us... Well, I'm just saying he's not leaving us a whole lot of options." Dean says, as Ana nodded her head at what he said knowing that he wasn't wrong.

"Given the fact he's not gonna stop until we're dead... or he is." Ana says to Dean as he turned to her and gave her a sad look. He moved his hand and gave her knee a gentle rub, just then Ana's phone rings, and she looks at it with a scowl, and picks it up angrily.

"What do you want?" Ana asked.

"I don't like it when people hold grudges against me, and more to the point, I'd rather you didn't kill me. So, I went ahead and found Gordon's exact location for you." Bela says on the other end of the phone, as Ana rolled her eyes at what she said.

"You're a hundred miles away? How the hell did you find us?" Ana asked.

"Hello? Purveyor of powerful occult objects? I used a talking board to contact the other side." Bela says to the redhead woman.

"And? Please tell me you got something good or so help me God--" Ana says as she got interrupted by Bela.

"Warehouse, two stories, riverfront, neon sign outside." Bela says as a scowl left Ana's mouth. "One more thing. The spirit had a message for you idiots, 'leave town, run like hell, and whatever you do, don't go after Gordon'. For whatever that's worth." Bela says, as Bela hung up, as Ana looks at the phone, as out of anger she threw her phone which made it shatter on the ground.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Gordon awakens again, this time hanging by his wrists from the ceiling. Lights and noises become overwhelming for her. His eyes were bloodshot. He struggles with his chains, ripping them out of the ceiling a few tries. As he unwinds them from his wrists, the women are also chained up, but they don't' have the superstrong vampirism like Gordon has. "Please...Help us. Please." One of the women say begging pitifully.

Gordon Walker was walking outside. He flinches at every sudden light and sound, staring up at a loudly buzzing, glaring at a bright streetlamp. He covers his ears in agony as a car passes him, trailing behind a bright light. Across the alley he sees a man crouched in front of his car, changing a tire. Gordon struggles with temptation, the staggers over a window and leans against it, panting. He looks up at his reflection in the glass and bares his teeth, with his fangs emerge to fill his mouth.

Minutes later, the man finishes changing the tire and gets in his car. Before he can start the ignition, Gordon sits up suddenly in the back seat and grabs the man from behind. From outside, we hear the man scream, and see the car shake violently, and a spray of blood stain the windshield.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The four of them creep down the steps into the room where Gordon had been held. The bodies of the girls are still hanging, headless, and the vampire is kneeling in front of them, with tears running down his face. Dean takes a knife from the table and approaches him slowly as he hears Dean and Ana coming but he doesn't move.

"Go ahead. Do it. Kill me." The vampire says.

"What happened here?" Amelia asked.

"Gordon Walker. I never should have brought a hunter here. Never. I just... I just wanted some kind of revenge. Stupid... exposing him to my family." The vampire says.

"Right because you're such a family man." Ana says to the vampire.

"You don't understand." The vampire says.

"I don't want to understand, you son of --" Dean says, but the vampire cut him off.

"I was desperate! You ever felt desperate?" The vampire asked Dean. "I've lost everyone I ever loved. I'm staring down eternity alone." The vampire says. "Can you think of a worse hell?"

"Well, there's a thing called Hell." Ana says.

"I wasn't thinking. I just... I didn't care anymore. Do you know it's like when you just don't give a damn? It's like... it's like being dead already. So just go ahead." The vampire says as he looks at Ana's machete. "Do it."

Sam is inspecting the headless bodies. "Dean. Head wasn't cut off; it was ripped off. With someone's bare hands. Dixon, what did you do to Gordon." Sam asked.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean and Ana enter the motel room, both frustrated as Dean removes his jacket as does Ana as well. Sam and Amelia are seated the table, pouring over maps. "We checked three dozen motels, empty buildings, and warehouses..." Ana says.

"Yeah, us too. Big city." Sam says.

Dean is in the bathroom washing his face in the sink. "It's like a giant haystack, and Gordon's a deadly needle. We're running out of daylight. We won't have the sun to slow him down." Dean says.

"Yeah, he'll be unstoppable. Hey, uh give me your phones." Sam says as Ana looks at him.

"What for?" Dean asked.

Sam is pulling out the SIM cards from their phones. "Well, if Gordon knows our cell numbers, he can use the cell signal to track us down." Sam says.

Dean looks out the curtains, as he walks back with a sense of purpose. "Sammy, stay here." Dean says as Ana turns to him.

"Where are you going?" Ana asked her boyfriend.

"I'm going after Gordon." Dean says as Ana's eyes widened when he said that.

"Not alone, you're not." Ana says.

"Baby, I don't need you to sign me a permission slip, okay? I want you to stay out of harm's way. I'll take care of it." Dean says.

"Well, you're not going by yourself then." Ana says to Dean which made him sigh.

"It's just another day at the office. It's a massively dangerous day at the office." Dean says smirking as Ana rolls her eyes at what he said.

"So, you're the guy with nothing to lose now, huh? Oh wait, let me guess. Because you're already dead, right?" Ana says to her boyfriend.

"If the shoe fits." Dean says to Ana.

"Drop the attitude. Quit turning everything into a punch line. And you know something else? Stop trying to act like you're not afraid." Ana says which made look back at her.

"I'm not afraid!" Dean says to her.

"You think I'm an idiot. You may as well drop it 'cause I can see right through you." Ana says to Dean.

"You got no idea what you're talking about." Dean says as that's when Ana pulled out the Colt. Which caught Dean off guard as he felt his pockets, he then tried to grab the Colt from Ana, but she moved. "Give it back, Annie." Dean says to his girlfriend.

"You're scared as hell, Dean. I can see that. Even Sam can see it." Ana says as she points to Sam who nodded his head at what she said when Dean turned to his brother, before turning back to his girlfriend.

"Congratulations." Dean says sarcastically. "How do you know that?"

"Because I know you! So, was the five years that we've been together a blur to you or something."

"Really?" Dean asked her as she rolled her eyes as she kept the Colt out of his hands.

"I've been following you since I was twelve. So, yeah, I know you, better than anyone else in the world. And this is exactly how you act when you're terrified. And, I mean, I can't blame you. It's just..."

"What?" Dean says to her.

"I wish you would just drop the show, okay." Ana says with tears in her eyes.

"Alright, we'll hole up, cover our scene so he can't track us, and wait the night out here." Dean says.

Later, Dean, Sam and Amelia are barricading the doors and windows, as Ana lights a bundle of sage, then Dean's phone rings. "You've had that phone for two hours, Dean. Who'd you give the number two?" Sam asked.

"Nobody." Dean says as he picks up the phone. "Hello?"

"Dean." The voice says as it was Gordon Walker.

"How'd you get this number?" Dean asked.

"Your scent's all over the cellphone store. Of course, I can't smell you now. Where are you guys?" Gordon asked.

"Well, I guess you'll just have to find us, won't you." Dean says.

"I'd rather you come to me." Gordon says to Dean.

"What's the matter, Gordo? You're not afraid of us, are you? We're just sitting here. Bring it on!" Dean says as Ana and Sam share an eye roll.

"I don't think so." Gordon says, as he holds the phone in front of a woman who is his hostage.

"Please. Please." The woman says crying, as Gordon takes the phone back and shushes her.

"Factory on riverside off the turnpike. Be here in 20 minutes or the girl dies." Gordon says.

"Gordon, let the girl go." Dean says.

"Bye, Dean." Gordon says as he hangs up.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The four of them get to the factory, and they find the hostage and untie her. "Hey, we got you. Don't worry. We're gonna get you out of here."

The woman is sobbing and can barely walk, so Dean slings her arm over his shoulders and picks her up. "Guys, stay close." Dean says as the other two beside Ana, and the woman are following Dean closely. Just then a mechanized door suddenly slides down in front of Sam and Amelia cutting him off from the others.

Just then the lights go out, as Amelia jumps as she's afraid of the dark. Sam freezes as he brings his machete up and starts creeping around with his other arm held out blindly as Amelia stepped out of the way.

"Gordon! You got me where you want me. You might as well, come out and fight!" Sam says.

"I'm right here. Sam." Gordon says as Sam swung his machete, which cut Gordon's head off his head completely as there was a thump as his head hit the ground, which made Amelia scream.

"Hey, it's okay." Sam says as he brought her into his arms, as he wrapped his arms around her to calm her down.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean is under the hood of the impala, poking at something. Sam opens a cooler and pulls out two beers, then shuts the lid and sits on it. He opens one bottle and passes it to Dean. "Here you go." Sam says as he handed the other beer to Dean.

"Thanks." Dean says.

"Figure out what's making that rattle?" Sam asked his brother as Ana and Amelia are in the car sleeping as the brothers are letting the girl's sleep. Ana is sleeping in the front seats, and Amelia is sleeping in the backseats.

"No, not yet. Give me a box wrench, would you?" Dean asks his brother.

"Yeah, there you go." Sam says as he handed the wrench to Dean.

"Thanks." Dean says as he the wrench and starts unscrewing, as Sam sits back on the cooler and turns to watch Dean.

"Put your back into it." Sam says with a smile on his face.

"Shut up." Dean says to him.
