The Impala zooms down a two-lane blacktop. Dean is driving and Sam is in the backseat behind Ana. "Come on, Sam, I'm begging you. This is stupid." Sam willingly sat in the backseat, after he had figured out how to get comfortable.
"Why?" Sam asks as Ana was finishing braiding her hair, as she listens to the brothers having their conversation. They are on their way to see their mother's grave, mainly because Sam wanted to go see the grave and Dean is driving his brother there.
"Going to visit Mom's grave? She doesn't even have a grave - there, there was no body left after the fire." Dean says to his as he put his free hand that wasn't on the steering wheel and put it on Ana's thigh.
"She has a headstone." Sam says to his brother, as Ana tied the braid that was in her hair.
"Yeah, put up by her uncle, a man we've never even met. So, you wanna, go pay your respects to a slab of granite put up by a stranger? Come on." Dean says as Ana turns to him before looking away.
"Dean, that's not the point." Sam says as Ana takes a breath as she takes a drink from her Dr. Pepper.
"Well, then enlighten me, Sam." Dean says to his brother.
"It's not about a body, or, or, a casket. It's about her memory, okay?" Sam says to his brother. "And after Dad it just...just feels like the right thing to do." Sam says to him.
"It's irrational, is what it is." Dean grumbles as Ana puts her hand on top of Dean's, he gives her hand a small squeeze.
"Look, man, no one asked you to come." Sam says to his brother.
"Why don't we swing by the roadhouse instead? I mean, we haven't heard anything on the demon lately. Nothing from Ash or that chick. We should be hunting that son of a bitch down."
"That's a good idea you should. Just drop me off, I'll hitch a ride, and I'll meet you and Ana there tomorrow." Sam says to Dean.
"Right." Dean as he chuckles a little. "Stuck...stuck with those people, making awkward small talk until you show up? No, thanks." Dean says to Sam as Ana has a small smile on her face at what he said.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them are at a graveyard, which is also the same cemetery where Mary Winchester is buried at. Sam kneels before a headstone, digging in the ground with a pocket-knife. Sam pulls out a set of dog tags out of his pocket and he sighs. "I think um...I think Dad would have wanted you to have these." Sam says as he drops the dog tags in the hole and covers them up with the dirt. "I love you, Mom."
Nearby, Dean and Ana is standing by another grave, marked as 'loving father'. Ana sees a dying tree and stops as she has a frown on her face. She walks up to it, with Dean following her like a lost puppy. She knocks on the trunk, consideringly, then she notices a perfect circle of dead grass surrounding a gravestone. Dean sees what Ana sees, and they crouch down, as Ana fingers dead flowers.
"Somethin' a little odd to you?" Ana asks, as it was out of Sam's earshot, so he didn't hear her say that. Dean nods his head at what she said.
"Yeah, somethin' freaky is goin' on." He says to Ana, as she looks at Dean.
"Vengeful spirit, maybe?" She suggests as he shrugs his shoulders at her.
Minutes later Dean takes a card from a man in a suit, then walks over to Sam with Ana beside him. "Angela Mason. She was a student at the local college; funeral was three days ago." Dean says to his brother as with his free hand he interlocks it with Ana.
"And?" Sam asks.
"And? You saw her grave. Everything dead around it, in a frickin' perfect circle? You don't think that's a little weird?" Ana says as Dean nods his head at what she said.
"Maybe the groundskeeper went a little argo with the pesticide." Sam says to his brother and Ana as the redhead shakes her head no.
"No, Dean asked him. No pesticides, no chemicals, nobody can explain it." Ana says as Dean brushes his thumb over her knuckles like he always does.
"Okay, so what are you two thinking?" Sam asks the couple.
"Unholy ground." Ana says without hesitation to the younger Winchester.
"Un--" Sam says as he stops himself speechless by what Ana said.
"What? If something happened there, it could easily poison the ground." Ana says to Sam he turns to her, before shaking her head.
"Remember the, the farm outside of Cedar Rapids?" Dean asks his brother.
"Yeah, b--" Sam says as he got cut off by Dean.
"Could be the sign of a demonic presence. Or the, the Angela spirit, if it's powerful enough." Dean says as Sam nods his head as he turns away. "Well, don't get too excited, you might pull something." Ana shook her head with a smile on her face.
"It's just...stumbling onto a hunt? Here, of all places?" Sam asks his brother.
"So?" Dean asks his brother.
"So -- are you sure this is about a hunt, and not about something else?" Sam asks his brother.
"What else would it be about?" Dean asks Sam.
Sam sighs heavily shaking his head, as he moves to get into the car. "You know, just forget about it." Sam says, as Ana gives Dean a longing look.
"You believe what you want, Sam, but -- I let you drag my ass out here, the least we could do is check it out." Dean says to his brother.
"Yeah. Fine." Sam grumbles, as he got into the car, which left Dean and Ana out of the car. Dean looked at Ana, his face softened just a little.
"Girls' dad works in town. He's a professor at the school." Dean says to Ana as she nods her head at what he said.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them enter a school building where Angela's father works at. Ana knocks on the door in front of Dr. Mason's office. "Dr. Mason?" Ana asks the man in front of her.
"Yes?" Dr. Mason asks the redhead.
"I'm Ana. This is Dean and Sam. We're friends of Angela's. We...we wanted to offer our condolences." Ana says to the older man, who nods his head at the redhead.
"Please, come in." Dr. Mason says, as they enter. He then closes the door behind them. Sitting down, he shows them a photo album, in the corner Dean and Ana are looking through an old book.
"She was beautiful." Sam says looking at the photo album with Dr. Mason.
"Yes, she was."
Dean is standing nearby looking at a bookshelf. "This is an unusual book." He says as he shows Dr. Mason the cover of the book he's paging through. It has carvings of Greek letters a triangular symbol.
"It's ancient Greek; I teach a course." Dr. Mason says to Dean as Ana nods her head suspiciously.
"So, a car accident, that's, that's horrible." Dean says as he puts the book back on the shelf.
"Angie was only a mile away from home when, uh..." Dr. Mason says as Dean interlocks his hand with Ana.
"It's gotta be hard. Losing someone like that. Sometimes it's like they're s-still around. Almost like you can still sense their presence." Dean says as Sam looks at him concerned. "You ever feel anything like that?"
"I do, as a matter of fact." Dr. Mason says.
Sam is still looking at Dean. "That's perfectly normal, Dr. Mason. Especially with what you're going through."
"You know, I still phone her. And the phone's ringing before I remember that, uh... Family's everything, you know? Angie was the most important thing in my life. And now, I-I-I'm just lost without her." Dr. Mason says as Dean turns his head to Ana for a moment, before looking back at Dr. Mason.
"We're very sorry." Ana says to Dr. Mason.
Dean doesn't know what he'd do without Ana. She's his rock, he's her foundation. She is the Yin to his Yang.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them are in the motel room, Ana is sitting on her and Dean's bed, as her feet are dangling at the edge of the bed. "I'm telling you, there's something going on here. We just haven't found it yet." Dean says.
"Dean, so far, you and Ana have a patch of dead grass and nothing." Sam says as Ana shakes her head at the younger Winchester.
"Well, something turned that grave into unholy ground." Dean says to his brother.
"There's no reason for it to be unholy ground. Angela Mason was a nice girl who died in a car crash. That's not exactly vengeful spirit material. You heard her father." Sam says to Dean.
"Yeah, well, maybe Daddy doesn't know everything there is to know about his little angel, huh?" Dean says to his brother.
"You know what? We never should have bothered that poor man. We shouldn't even be here anymore." Sam says.
"So, what Sam? What, we just bail? Without even figuring out what's going on?" Dean says to his brother.
"I think I know what's going on here. It's the only reason I went along with you this far." Sam says to Dean as Ana looks at Sam.
"What are you talking about?" Dean asks his brother, as Ana furrows her eyebrows as her eyes dart from Dean to Sam.
"This is about Mom's grave." Sam says to his brother.
Dean scoffs at what Sam said. "That's got nothing to do with it."
"You wouldn't step within a hundred yards of it. Look. Maybe you're imaging a hunt where there isn't one so you don't have to think about Mom. Or Dad." Sam says as Dean turns to look at him, as Sam sighs. "You wanna take another swing? Go ahead, if it'll make you feel better."
Dean shakes his head. "I don't need this crap." He says as he grabs his jacket and keys and starts for the door.
"Dean, where are you going?" Sam asks.
"Me and Annie are going to get a drink." Dean says as with that him and Ana leave Sam in the motel room.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean and Ana enter an apartment, which is Angela's. They look around, as Ana picks up a framed picture. Dean sees a glimpse of a figure in the reflection just before she sees them, which is Lindsey, Angela's roommate.
"Who the hell are you two?" Lindsey asks the two, as she turns and shuts herself in her bedroom.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on!" Dean says.
"I'm calling 911!" Lindsey says from inside the bathroom.
"We're Angela's cousins!" Ana says to Lindsey.
"What?" Lindsey says from inside the door.
"Yeah, her dad sent us over to uh, pick up her stuff, my name's Alan? Alan Stanwick, and this is Ana."
Lindsey opens the door. "Her dad didn't say that you two were coming."
"Well, I mean..." He says holding up a set of keys. "How else would I have the key to your place?" He laughs reassuringly and a bit uncomfortable as Ana awkwardly smiles.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them are in the living room, as Dean hands Lindsey a tissue. She's crying as Dean looks uncomfortable. "So, I'm sure you got a, a view of Angela that none of the family got to see. Tell me, what, what was she like? I mean, what was she really like?" Dean asks.
"She was great." Lindsey says to the couple.
"Hmm." Dean hums.
"Just great. I mean, she was so...so..."
"Great." Ana says
"Yeah. Yeah." Lindsey says as she sobs again.
"Yeah." Dean says as he hands her another tissue.
"Here you go. You two must have been really close, huh?" Dean asks.
"We were. Bit it's just her, it's Matt."
"Who?" Dean asks confused.
"He's her boyfriend right?" Ana asks as Lindsey nods. "See." Dean turns to Ana and gives her a look, before he turns back to Lindsey.
"What about him?" Dean asks.
"He killed himself last night. He cut his own throat. Who does that?" Lindsey asks.
"That's -- terrible."
"He was taking Angela's death pretty hard, and I guess... I mean, he'd been messed up about it for days." Lindsey says.
"Messed up, how?" Ana asks.
"He kept saying that he saw her everywhere." Lindsey says.
"Well, I'm, I'm sure that -- that's normal. I mean with everything that he was going through." Ana says as Lindsey shakes her head at the redhead.
"No, he said that he saw her. As, in, an acid trip or something." Lindsey says.
"Were Angela and Matt a happy couple? I mean, is there any reason that Angela would be angry with him?" Dean asks.
"What? No, of course not. Why do you ask?" Lindsey asks.
"Just asking. Where did Matt live?" Ana asks, Lindsey.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean opens the door and Sam looks around startled. He shuts the TV off, and tosses the remote, as Ana has a smirk on her face as before Sam had shut off the TV she got a glimpse of what he was watching. She was going to tease him, about it later. "Hey.." He says, pretending like nothing happened.
"So, what were you watching? Definitely not Casa Erotica Four, I assume?" Ana says as Sam gives Ana a bitch face look as Ana smirks.
"What? .... No." Sam says sheepishly as Dean whistles at his brother.
"Sammy? You do know that isn't appropriate for youngsters, right?" Dean says to his brother, joining Ana of teasing Sam.
"Ask her why she knows it." Sam says to Dean as he points his finger accusingly at Ana.
"Because she is older, Sam."
"She is only two years older than I am!" Sam exclaims to his brother.
"Yeah, two years older, big difference." Dean says to his brother.
"Whatever...where were you two?" Sam asks the two.
"Working our imaginary case, that you say that doesn't exist." Ana says.
"Yeah? And?" Sam asks.
"Well, you were right, we didn't find a match." Dean says as Sam nods his head sympathetic. "Yeah, except Angela's boyfriend died last night. Slit his own throat, but you know, that's normal."
"Oh, he was seeing Angela everywhere before he died. But you know, I'm sure that's just me and Dean, transferring our own feelings." Ana says sarcastically to the younger Winchester.
"Okay, I get it. I'm sorry, maybe there is something going on here." Sam says.
"Maybe? Sam, we know how to do our job, despite what you might think." Dean says to his brother.
"We should check out the guys' apartment." Sam says.
"We just came from there. Pile of dead plants, just like the cemetery. Hell, even a dead goldfish too." Ana says.
"So, unholy ground?" Sam asks.
"Maybe. We're still not getting that powerful angry spirit vibe from Angela." Dean says as he gets up, crosses the rom to pick up a pink book. "We did find this though."
"You two stole the girls' diary?" Sam asks.
"Yeah, Sam. And if anything the girl is a little too nice." Ana says. "I read it on the way here."
"So, what do you two want to do?" Sam asks.
"Keep digging, talk to more of her friends." Dean says.
"You got any names?"
"You do realize that a diary is a girls' best friend, right? It just won't judge you." Ana says as Dean looks at Ana who shrugs her shoulders. "Sue me." She grumbles to Dean who snickers.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them are at Neil's house, which was one of Angela's friends. "I didn't realize the college employed grief counselors."
"Oh, yeah. Yeah, you talk, we listen. Or maybe throw in a little therapeutic collage, whatever jump-starts the healing." Dean says to Neil, as Ana stands in the middle of the brothers.
"Well, I think I'm okay. Thanks." Neil says.
"Well, you heard what happened to Matt Harrison, right?" Ana asks Neil.
"Yeah, I did." Neil says.
"Well, we just wanted to make sure you were okay. Grief can make people do crazy things." Sam says as Dean has his arm snaked around Ana's back.
"Look, I'm sorry about what happened to him. I am. But if Matt killed himself, it wasn't 'cause of grief." Neil says which makes Ana furrow her eyebrows.
"No? Then why?" Ana asks Neil.
"It was guilt. Angie's death was Matt's fault, and he knew it." Neil says.
"How was Matt responsible?" Sam asks.
"Well, she really loved that guy. But the night of the accident she walked in on him with another girl." Neil says, as Dean nods his head. "She was really torn up, that's why she crashed the car. Um, look, I gotta get ready for work, so... thanks for the concern, but...seriously, I'll be okay." Neil says as Dean turns to look at Sam significantly.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them walk away from the house, as Dean still has his arm around Ana, as they're walking down on the sidewalk. "Well, that vengeful spirit theory's starting to make a little more sense. I mean, hell hath no fury..." Dean says.
"So, if Angela got her revenge on Matt, you think it's over?" Sam asks.
"Well, there's one way to be sure." Dean says, as they get into the car.
"Yeah? What's that?" Sam asks as Ana gets into the backseat behind Dean.
"Burn the bones." Dean says as Ana nods her head.
"Burn the bones?" Sam says as he scoffs. "Are you high?"
"I ask that question every day." Ana says as Dean gives her a side eyed look.
"Dean, Angela died last week!" Sam says.
"So?" Dean asks his brother.
"So, there's not gonna be bones. There's gonna be a ripe rotting body in the coffin." Sam says.
"Since when are you afraid to get dirty? Huh?" Dean asks as they drive to the cemetery that Angela is at.
.....
The three of them are at Angela's gravesite. The three of them are panting, as Dean and Ana were digging. Dean is standing on the coffin, as Ana clears the rest of the dirt, Dean turns to Sam. "Ladies first." Dean says as he helps Ana out of the hole and takes her shovel.
Sam hands Ana his flashlight. "Hold that." He says as he opens the coffin, wincing in preparation, but the coffin was empty. The three of them look at each other.
"They buried the body four days ago." Dean says.
"I don't get it." Ana says as she sees something. "Look." She says as she shines the flashlight to the carved in words in the coffin. "I know these. In the father's office, me and Dean were looking at a book, and it had the exact symbol."
───※ ·❆· ※───
Ana is pounding heavily on the door she is agitated; Dean puts an arm on Ana's shoulder. "Take it easy, before you break the door."
Moments later, Dr. Mason opens the door. "You're Angie's friends, right?" He asks.
"We need to talk." Ana says harshly.
"Well, then, come in." Dr. Mason says as Ana gives him a fake smile.
"You teach Ancient Greek. Tell me..." She says as she unwraps paper. ".... what are these?"
She shows Dr. Mason the paper on which she's copied the symbols from the grave. "I don't understand. You said this had something to do with Angela."
"It does. Please, just humor her." Dean says.
"They're part of an ancient Greek divination ritual." Dr. Mason says.
"Used for necromancy, right?" Ana asks.
"That's right."
"See, before we came over here, we stopped by the library and did a little homework ourselves. Apparently, they used rituals like this one for communicating with the dead. Even bringing corpses back to life. Full on zombie action."
"Yes, I mean, according to the legends. Now, what's all this about?" Dr. Mason asks.
"I think you know." Dean says.
"Dean." Sam says under his breath.
"Look, I get it, okay? There are people that I would give anything to see again. But what gives you the right?" Dean says.
"Dean!"
"What are you talking about?" Dr. Mason asks.
"What's dead should stay dead!" Ana cuts in making Dr. Mason look at her.
"What?!"
"Stop it!" Sam says to Dean.
"What you brought back isn't even your daughter anymore. These things are vicious, they're violent, they're so nasty they rot the ground around them. I mean, come on, haven't you seen Pet Semetary?" Dean asks.
"You're insane." Dr. Mason says.
"Well, he's not." Ana sneered to the man.
"Where is she?" Dean asks.
"Get out of my house." Dr. Mason says as he starts dialing the phone, but Dean knocks it out of his hand.
"I know you're hiding her somewhere. Where she she?!"
"Dean! Stop, that's enough! Dean, look!" Sam says as he grabs Dean's jacket and points to a row of plants by the window. "Beautiful, living plants." He says as he turns to Dr. Mason. "We're leaving."
"He said, we're leaving! Chill your ass!" Ana sneers as Dean grabs Ana by the arm, as the three of them are walking down the steps along the sidewalk, with Sam following the couple.
"What the hell is the matter with you, Dean?"
"Back off." Dean says as he still has his hand on Ana's arm.
"That man is innocent! He didn't deserve that from you two!" Sam says, as the three of them stop walking and look at each other.
"Okay, so she's not here, maybe he's keeping her somewhere else." Ana says as Sam looks at the redhead.
"Stop it! That's enough, okay? Enough, both of you!"
"Sam, we know what we're doing." Dean says as he let go of Ana's arm.
"No, you two don't. At all. Dean, I don't scare easy, but man, you two are scaring the crap out of me."
"Don't be overdramatic, Sam."
"You two are lucky this turned out to be a real case. Because if it wasn't you two just found something else to kill." Sam says to the two.
"Wha--"
"You two are on edge, you're erratic - except when you two are hunting, because then you two are downright scary. You're tail spinning Dean. And you refuse to talk about it, unless it's to Ana, and you refuse to let me help you."
"We can take care of ourselves, thanks." Dean says to his brother.
"No, you can't, and you know what? You're the only one who thinks you should have to. You don't have to handle this on your own, you too Ana. No one can." Sam says to the two, as Ana rolls her eyes.
"Sam, if you bring up Dad's death one more time, I swear..." Dean says overlapping his brother.
"Stop. Please, Dean, it's killing you two. We've already lost Dad, we've lost Mom, I've lost Jessica. And now I'm going to lose both you and Ana?"
"We better get out of here before the cops come." Ana says to Dean.
"I hear you, okay? Yeah, I'm being an ass. And I'm sorry. But right now, we've got a frickin zombie running around, and we need to figure out how to stop it."
"Our lives are weird, man."
"Yeah, you're telling me."
"Tell me something I don't know." Ana says. "Come on."
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them are in the motel room, as Dean is pacing back and forth, Sam is sitting on the bed with John's journal, and Ana is reading about zombie lore. "We just can't waste it with a head shot?"
"You've been watching way too many Romero flicks." Ana says to her boyfriend.
"You're telling me there's no lore on how to smoke 'em." Dean says to Ana, as he goes to sit at the table by the window, where Ana is.
"There's too much. I mean, there's a hundred different legends on the walking dead, but they all have different methods of killing them." Dean looks over Ana's shoulder of her research. "Some way, setting them on fire, uh one said, feeding their hearts to wild dogs. That's my personal favorite. I mean who knows what's real and what's myth?"
"Baby, is there anything they all have in common?" Dean asks her, as he has his arms around her neck, as his chin is on her shoulder.
"No. But a few said silver might work." Ana says.
"Yeah, that's what it says for me too." Sam says to his brother.
"Silver's a start." He says.
"Yeah, but how are we going to find Angela?" Ana asks Dean.
"We've got to figure out the person who brought her back." Sam says.
"Any ideas?" Ana asks.
"I think if it's not her dad, then it might be that guy, Neil." Dean asks as he presses a soft kiss on Ana's shoulder.
"Neil?" Sam asks.
"Yep." Dean says as he stands back up and crosses the room to pick up the pink diary. "How'd you come up with that?" Sam asks.
"Well, you've got your journal, me and Annie have ours." Dean says as he starts reading from the journal. "'Neil's a real shoulder to cry on, he so understands what I'm going through with Matt'. There's more in here where that came from. It's got unrequited Duckie love written all over it."
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean he brought her back from the dead." Sam says.
"Hmm. Did Annie mention he's Professor Mason's TA? Has access to all the same books." Dean says as Sam looks at Ana, who only innocently waves.
"You can thank me later.... it's later."
"Thank you...?"
"You're welcome, now let's go." Ana says to him.
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them break into Neil's house, as the house is quiet and dark. "Hello? Neil?! It's your grief counselor's -- we've come to hug."
"Never thought you'd say that." Ana grumbles as Dean gives her a look in the dark.
"Shut it, or no cuddles." Dean says as Ana nudged him with her gun. "Ow, last chance you hit me again, no cuddles for a whole week."
"Wha--hey!"
Dean pulls out a gun as Sam looks at it. "Silver bullets?"
"Yeah, enough to make her rattle like a change purse." Dean says, as the three of them start stalking through the house. Dean is in the lead with his gun out. They see wilted plants by a window, they find the entrance to the basement, as Dean nods at it. "Unless it's where he keeps his porn."
"Yeah, an empty one. You think Angela's going after somebody?" Sam asks.
Ana finds a loose gate and pulls it aside - it leads out, somewhere. "Nah, I think she went out to rent Beaches."
"Look, smartass, she might kill someone. We gotta find her, Annie." Dean says to his girlfriend whose smirk dropped.
"She, uh, she clipped Matt because he was cheating, right?" Ana asks as the brothers nod their heads at her.
"Yeah." Sam says.
"Well, Angela's roommate was broken up over Matt's death. I mean, like really broken up." Ana says, as she raised her eyebrow when she said 'really'.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Lindsey is sitting in the dim house looking at a framed picture of Matt and Angela, she hears a noise, gets up and goes to the front door. "Hello?" Lindsey asks as she's nervous. She opens the door and sees nothing. She then turns and Angela is there. Angela grabs her by her hair, as Lindsey screams.
"Hi, Lindsey, I'm home!"
Lindsey breaks free from Angela, screaming. She runs into the kitchen, as Angela picks up a pair of scissors from the counter. "You know what you did!"
"I'm sorry. I'm so, so--"
"You're not sorry enough!"
Angela stabs with the scissors, as Lindsey ducks. Angela attacks again and Lindsey goes down to the floor. As Angela advances, Lindsey kicks out, knocking Angela forward into the scissors. She goes still. Lindsey gets up, cautiously shoves Angela's body over. The scissors are sticking out of her chest.
"Oh God. Oh God. Oh my god. Oh my god, oh, oh--"
Angela's eyes then open, she grabs Lindsey by the hair and pulls the scissors out of her chest. As she pulls them both to stand readying the scissors to stab Lindsey, several shots are fired, and Angela convulses.
Ana, and the brothers had entered the apartment. Ana fires the gun again, right in Angela's chest. She screams and bolts out the door, as Dean follows her, as Ana runs to Lindsey, with Sam beside her.
"Hey, I got you." Ana says as Dean comes back through the window.
"Damn, that dead chick can run." Dean says slightly out of breath.
"What now?" Ana asks.
"I say we have a little chat with Neil."
───※ ·❆· ※───
Dean is driving the Impala, as Ana is back in the passenger seat as Sam is in the backseat behind Ana, Sam has John's journal in his hand. "So, the silver bullets, they did something, right?"
"Yeah, but not enough. What else you got?" Ana asked the younger Winchester.
"Besides silver, we have nailing the undead back into their grave beds. It's mentioned a few times, it's probably where the whole vampire staking lore came from."
"Their grave beds?" Ana asks.
"You serious?" Dean asks.
"Yeah." Sam replies to the couple.
"That is great and all, but how the hell are we going to get Angela back to the cemetery?" Ana asks the younger Winchester.
───※ ·❆· ※───
Neil is sitting in the dark nervous, as the brothers and Ana enter Neil's office. "What are you three doing here?"
"You know, I've heard of people doing some shitty desperate things to get laid by a cute girl, but you -- you my friend take the cake." Ana says as she crosses her arms over her chest.
"Okay? Who are you guys?" Neil asks.
"You might want to ask your girlfriend that question." Ana says.
"What?" Neil asks.
"We know what you did. The ritual? Everything." Dean says.
"You're crazy." Neil says as a scoff leaves his lips.
"Sorry to burst your bubble dude. But your girlfriend is past her expiration date and we're crazy? When someone's gone, they should stay gone. You don't mess with that fucking stuff." Ana says to Neil.
"Angela killed Matt, and she tried to kill Lindsey too."
"I don't know what you're talking about." Neil says to the three of them as something in Ana snaps.
Ana stomps over to the other side of the desk and hauls Neil up by the collar. "Hey! No more shit, Neil. His blood is on your hands. Now. Me and those guys can make this right, but you got to tell us where she is. Tell us!" Ana says to the man.
"My house. She's at my house." Neil replies to Ana.
Ana lets him go, then sees several potted plants by the window. They're all dead, as she looks at Neil. "You sure about that, buddy?" She asks.
Neil nods his head looking around nervously. Ana looks past him to see a closet, thinking she seems to get an idea. She raises his voice slightly.
"Listen. It doesn't really matter where she is. There's only one way to stop her. We've got to perform another ritual over her grave, to reverse the one that you so graciously did. We're going to need some black root, some, some scar weed, some candles... It's very complicated, but it'll get the job done. She'll be dead again in a couple hours. I think you should come with us."
"No. No." Neil says.
Ana leans in lowering her voice again. "Listen to me. Get out of here as soon as you can. But most of all, be cool. No sudden movements. Don't make her mad." She says as she turns her head towards the brothers. "Let's go."
───※ ·❆· ※───
The three of them are at Angela's grave, the brothers and Ana are lighting candles. "You really think this is going to work, Ana?"
"Listen, it was the only idea I had and could come up with on the spot." Ana says.
The three of them hear a noise, they nod at each other. Sam stands up and pulls a gun from the small of his back. He stalks in the direction of the sound. Some distance away; he freezes. hearing something behind him. Angela advances towards him. He turns at the last minute and points the gun at Angela.
"Wait! It's not what you think. I didn't ask to be brought back. But it's still me. I'm still a person. Please."
After hearing her out, Sam fires the gun, hitting her square in the forehead. She screams, her head snapping back. Then he bolts back towards the grave, she tackles him, and he lands hard on the ground, she twists his head back. Ana fires at her startling her back to standing. She shoots her several more times until she falls straight back into the open grave, landing in the empty coffin. Ana grabs a long metal stake and runs to the grave, sliding the last length on her knees and diving into the coffin. She buries the stake in her chest pinning her in.
"Wait, don't--"
Ana drives it further in, she gasps one last time, then goes limp. Ana pulls back panting. "Stay there bitch."

The three of them are heading towards the Impala. Sam grunts as he lifts the shovel over one shoulder. "You know that whole fake ritual thing, luring Angela into the cemetery? Pretty sharp."
"Thanks." Ana says.
"But did you have to use me as bait?" Sam asks the redhead.
"I figured you were more her type. You know, she had pretty crappy taste in guys." Ana says as Dean laughs a little.
"She's not wrong." Dean says to his brother.
"I think she broke my hand." Sam says.
"I'll look at it after I get sleep." Ana says to Sam.
Dean turns back to his mother's grave, pausing. "You wanna stay for a while?" Ana asks, Dean.
"Nah, I think I'm good." Dean says as they drop their things in the trunk of the Impala and get in. Dean is in the driver's side; Ana is in the backseat and Sam is back being in the passenger seat.
