{all hell breaks loose - part one}

The Winchester brothers and Ana are at a cafe diner, as the Impala pulls up to it. "Hey, don't forget the extra onions this time, huh? Get Annie her fries with bacon." Dean says as he hands Sam some money.

"Dude, I'm the one who has to be in the same car as your extra onions and her bacon fries." Sam says as Dean grins, as Sam gets out of the car, sighing. "Hey, see if they've got any pie." Dean calls out to his brother as Sam is glaring at his brother as he shuts the door. "Bring me some pie!" Dean says, as he brings Ana closer to him, he presses a kiss onto her head. "C'mon wake up baby..."

Ana stirs awake as Dean pressed another kiss onto her head. "Mhm..." Ana mumbles out, as she was enjoying her nap, and somebody had to wake her up. She is going to kick his ass for it, later. "What time is it?" Ana mumbles out sleepily to Dean.

Before Dean would respond to what she said the car radio becomes staticky. Dean and Ana glance up and Ana fiddles with it, but it turns off completely. When Ana looks back up, the inside of the cafe is empty. No waiter, no Sam.

Dean and Ana, runs into the cafe. Country music is playing, as customer is at a booth but is dead, with their face down in a puddle of blood. Ana and Dean both draws their guns. "Sam?" They call out as they pace forward and looks around. Ana finds that the employees are also dead, with their throats slit.

Ana opens the back door and looks around outside. "Sam?!" Ana calls out, as Dean is next to her. Ana notices something on the floor. "Sulfur." Ana says as her and Dean races back out the front door, heading back to the car.

"Sam! Sammy!" Dean yells out as there was no response.

"Sam?!" Ana calls out.

"Sammy!" Dean yells louder. "SAAAAM!"

───※ ·❆· ※───

Sam continues to search the deserted town but doesn't find much. Most of the buildings are broken down or locked from the outside. Suddenly, Sam hears a creaking noise nearby. He grabs a plank of wood, ready to fight, when Andy Gallagher turns the corner. Sam brandishes the plank, and Andy jumps back, startled. "Andy?" Sam says.

"Sam! What are you doing here?" Andy asked.

"I don't know." Sam says.

"What am I doing here?!" Andy exclaims.

"I don't know."  Sam says.

"Where are we?!" Andy asked.

"Andy, look calm down." Sam says.

"I can't calm down! I just woke up in Frontierland!" Andy says.

"What's the last thing you remember?" Sam asked.

"Honestly? My fourth bong load. It was weird. All of a sudden, there was this really intense smell. Like, uh..." Andy says.

"Like sulfur?" Sam asked.

"How did you know that?" Andy asked.

Sam then remembers something. "Dean...Ana."

"Your, your brother, and his girlfriend -- are they here?" Andy asked.

"I don't know where they are. I don't know if he's--"

Suddenly they hear a woman screaming in the distance. They approach another deserted building. She is locked inside, banging on the door for help. "Hello?"

"Help me! Help me, please!" The woman yells.

"Okay, I'm here. We're gonna get you out, alright? Just hold on a second." Sam says.

"Please!" The woman yells again, as Sam grabs a large rock and smashes the padlock on the door.

"Alright, one second." Sam says.

"Please!" The woman yells, as Sam unlocks the door and Ava Wilson steps out.

"Ava?" Sam asked.

"Oh, my God! Sam!" Ava says, as she's sobbing, as she gives him a gigantic hug.

"So, I guess you guys know each other." Andy says.

"Yeah." Sam says.

"How did -- I mean, how did you--" Ava says.

"Ava, have you been here this whole time?" Sam asked.

"What hole time? I just woke up in there, like, a half an hour ago." Ava says.

"Well, you've been gone for five months. We have been looking for you everywhere." Sam says, as he brought Ana into the conversation as well.

"Okay, that's impossible, because I saw you two days ago." Ava says.

"You didn't, and I'm sorry." Sam says.

"But... that makes no sense. That's not -- oh my God! Lizzie! If I've been missing for that long, she must be freaking out!" Ava says.

"Well..." Sam says.

"Oh!" Ava says she notices Andy and looks at him confused.

"Hey. Andy. Also freaking out." Andy says nonchalantly.

"Okay." Ava says as she turns to Sam. "What's happening?" She asked.

"I, uh, uh, I don't really know yet. But I know one thing: I know what the three of us have in common." Sam says, as suddenly they hear a man's voice, calling from the distance.

"Hello? Is anybody there?" The man asked.

"Maybe more than three." Sam says as they run to the side of another building. The man, Jake Talley, is accompanied by a blonde girl. "Hello? Hey! Hey, you guys alright?"

"I think so." Jake says.

"I'm Sam." Sam says.

"Lily." The woman says.

"Are there any more of you?" Sam asked.

"Nah." Jake says.

"How did we even get here? A minute ago, I was in San Diego." Lily says.

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, I went to sleep last night in Afghanistan." Jake says.

"Let me take a wild guess: you two are both twenty-three? We all are. And we all have abilities." Sam says.

"What?" Jake asked confused.

"It started a little over a year ago. You found you could do things? Things you didn't think were possible?" Sam asked as they both nod their heads. "I have visions. I see things, they happen."

"Yeah, me too." Ava says.

"Yeah, and I can put thoughts into people's heads. Like, make them do stuff. But don't worry, I don't think it works on you guys. Oh, but get this -- I've been practicing. Training my brain, like meditation." Andy says.

"So, you go, 'Simon says give me your wallet', and they do?" Lily says to Andy as she then turns to Sam. "You have visions? That's great! I'd kill for something like that."

"Lily, listen, it's okay--" Sam says but she cuts him off.

"No, it's not. I touch people. Their hearts stop. I can barely leave my house. My life is not exactly improved. So, screw you. I just wanna go home." Lily says.

"And what, we don't?" Jake asked.

"You know what, don't talk to me like that, not right--" Lily says but Sam interrupted her.

"Hey, guys, please. Look, whatever we like it or not, we're all here, and so we all have to deal with this." Sam says.

"Who brought us here?" Andy asked.

"It's less of a 'who'. It's... more of a 'what'." Sam says.

"What does that mean?" Ava asked.

"It's a... it's a demon..." Sam says as Lily huffs out a breath of disgust.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean, Ana and now Bobby are parked on the side of the road, poring over a map. "This is it. Any demonic signs and omens over the past month." Bobby says.

"Dad, there's nothing there." Ana says as if the obvious, as she's in the middle of Dean and Bobby.

"Exactly." Bobby says.

"Well, come on, there's gotta be something. What about the, the, the normal, low-level stuff? You know, exorcisms, that kind of thing." Dean says, as Bobby shook his head.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you: there's nothing. It's completely quiet." Bobby says.

"Well, how are we supposed to look for Sam? What, do we just close our eyes and point?" Dean asks as just then Ana's phone rings and she picks it up, as it's Ash.

"Ash, what do you got?" Ana asked.

"Okay, listen, it's a big negatory on Sam--" Ash says, as Ana rolls her eyes.

"You gotta give us something. We're looking at a three-thousand-mile haystack full of no shit and no shovel." Ana says.

"Listen, Stasia. I did find something." Ash says as Ana took a deep sigh.

"What is it?" Ana asked.

"I can't talk over this line, Stasia." Ash says.

"Come on, Ash, I don't have time for this!" Ana says annoyed, as she had accidentally snapped at Ash. "Sorry..." Ana says to him.

"Make time, because this..." Ash stops as a customer walk by and he talks to him for a second. "What up? What's goin', on?" The customer passes by, and Ash goes back to Ana. "Not only does this almost definitely help you guys find Sam, this is, it's huge. So, get here. Now." He says and then he hangs up.

"So, what did he say?" Dean asked.

"We're going to the Roadhouse." Ana grumbled to him as she got into the car as she was clearly pissed, and on the verge on snapping, and Dean knows this, and quite frankly this is the part of Ana being pissed that kind of scares him, if he's being honest. Granted, yes, for the most part when she is mad, he finds it attractive, but not this version of her. Last time that he had seen this version of her was when John was still here, and Ana spoke her opinion of John, while he was there in front of her. "Let's go." Ana calls out to Dean.

Dean got into the car without question, as the last thing that he kind of needs right now, is her even madder. "We'll find him--"

"Don't say, it will be okay. Because it won't, okay!" Ana snapped at him which made him go quiet, and her to. She bit her cheek inside her mouth, she's been on edge since Sam disappeared and quite frankly, it scares her, if she's being honest. She took a deep breath to try to keep herself somewhat sane for the time being. At least for now. Because now she feels guilty of doing the one thing that she hates: arguing.

"It's okay, sweetheart." Dean's voice says through the storm in her head. It was almost shockingly calm through her angry and stressed-out emotions. Her face completely softens, now of guilt at her snapping at Dean. He didn't deserve that, nothing compared to it. Now she feels bad that she snapped at him.

She shook her head no at what he said, as it wouldn't take much for her to snap, especially, when she is already on edge as is. "No, it's not." She says, as Dean didn't say anything besides padding the spot beside him, as Ana moved closer next to him. When she was next to him, he had moved his arm around her keeping her close. "I'm sorry." She says softly to him, as he moved his hand that was around her, to the top of her head, as he softly brushed his fingers through her hair.

"I know." He says to her, as he drives with her next to him, as even though she snapped at him, he couldn't help but softly smile at her. More so smile at her now, how she can go from snapping at him accidentally, and then cuddle next to him. That basically describes Ana if he is being honest. "I love you, sweetheart." He says as he leaned down and softly pressed his lips on the top of her head.

───※ ·❆· ※───

"So, we're soldiers in a demon war, to bring on the Apocalypse?" Jake asked.

"When you put it like that--" Sam says.

"And, and we've been picked?" Jake asked.

"Yes." Sam replies to him.

"Why us?" Jake asked.

"I'm not sure, okay? But look, I just know--" Sam says.

"Sam, I'm sorry. Psychics and spoon-bending is one thing, but demons?" Ava asked.

"Look, I know it sounds crazy, but --" Sam says but he got cut off by Jake.

"It doesn't just sound it." Jake says.

"I don't really care what you think, okay? If we're all gathered here together, then that means it's starting and that we've gotta--" Sam says.

"The only thing I've gotta do is stay away from wackjobs, okay? I've heard enough. I'm better off on my own. FYI, so are you." Jake says.

"Jake, hold on. Jake!" Sam calls out as Jake ignores him and continues walking until he is alone in the town.

Suddenly, he sees a young blonde girl standing inside one of the buildings. She stares at him, through the door, then vanishes. Jake follows her, entering the abandoned schoolroom.

"Hello?" Jake says as the girl can be heard giggling somewhere in the room. "It's alright. Don't be scared. Are you lost?" Jake asked as there was no response. "Hello?" He calls out again.

He hears screeching coming from the chalkboard. He turns to look at it, and the words, 'I will not kill' are written over and over again on the board. The girl appears in the room, laughing. Her nails grow to form claws, and her face contorts. "Get back!" Jake yells.

Sam suddenly enters the building, grabs an iron poker, and hits the girl with it. She dissolves into a cloud of black smoke, which exits the schoolroom. The other three join, Jake and Sam. "Just so you know. That was a demon."

───※ ·❆· ※───

Now Jake and Sam along with the others are out of the old schoolroom. "Now that thing -- I'm not sure, but I think it was Acheri. A demon that disguises itself as a little girl. That still doesn't tell us where we are. Andy, are you with me or what?" Sam says.

"Give me a minute" Andy says stunned. "I'm still working through, 'Demons are real." Andy says as the group keeps walking.

In front of one of the buildings is a large, rusty bell hanging from a wooden structure. "I've seen that bell before. I think I know where we are now: Cold Oak, South Dakota. A town so haunted, every single resident fled."

"Swell, good to know we're somewhere so historical." Ava says sarcastically.

"Why in the world would that demon or whatever put us here?" Lily asked.

"I'm wondering the same thing." Sam says.

"You know what? It doesn't matter. Clearly, the only sane thing to do here is to get the hell out of Dodge." Lily says.

"Wait, hold on. Lily, the only way out is through miles of woods." Sam says.

"Beats hanging out with demons." Lily says.

"Lily, look, we don't know what's going on yet. I mean, we don't even know how many of them are out there right now." Sam says.

"Yeah, he's right. We should--" Jake says.

"Don't say, 'we'! I'm not part of 'we'. I have nothing in common with any of you." Lily says.

"Okay look, I know--" Sam says.

"You don't know anything!" Lily yells before there is a pause and she continue. "I accidentally touched my girlfriend." Lily says as the rest of them look around, shocked at what she said.

"I'm sorry." Sam says.

"Whatever. I feel like I'm in a nightmare, and it just keeps getting worse and worse." Lily says.

"I've lost people too. I have a brother and his girlfriend out there right now that could be dead, for all I know. We're all in bad shape, but I'm telling you, the best way out of this is to stick together." Sam says.

"Fine." Lily says, as Sam nods, and the group continues looking around the town.

"We're looking for iron, silver, salt -- any kind of weapon." Sam says.

"Salt is a weapon?" Jake asked confused as he never heard such thing could be a weapon.

"It's a brave new world." Sam says.

"Well, hopefully there's food in your world, because I'm frickin', starving." Andy says as they enter another building.

Lily looks like she is about to follow but stays behind. She wanders off on her own, away from the group.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean, Bobby and Ana turn the corner to the Roadhouse. When they get there, however, the entire building has burned to the ground. "What the hell?" Ana asked as they get out of the car and begin walking among the debris. Every single part of the Roadhouse has been destroyed. "Oh my God." Ana says as she has her hand over her mouth.

"You see Ellen?" Dean asked.

"No, not even Ash." Bobby says, as there was no sign of Ash anywhere, which is making Ana more nervous of her favorite mullet-loving guy.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Lily is walking in the woods, trying to find a way out, when she suddenly hears the little girl giggling. She continues walking, trying to ignore it.

Meanwhile, Sam is searching one of the abandoned houses. He finds a knife and picks it up. He turns back to Ava, who is massaging her head.

"Hey, you alright?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, I'm just... I don't know, a little dizzy." Ava says.

"Are you sure, it's not some kind of--" Sam says.

"What? Some kind of freaky vision thing? No, more like I'd kill for a sandwich. I haven't eaten since... well, who knows? No, don't worry. I'm fine. Except for every single thing that's happening."

"You guys! I found something!" Andy says, as Sam and Ava approach Andy and Jake, as Andy is holding up two bags. "Salt!"

"That's great, Andy. Now we all can...where's Lily?" Sam says as he took notice of someone missing from the group.

"Lily?" Ava asks.

"Lily!" Sam yells out as suddenly they hear the little girl giggling nearby. The four of them walk outside, at the top of the water tower, Lily is hanging from a noose, dead.

"Oh, my God! Okay, that's officially -- Sam, she's dead! She's dead! You said we were chosen for a reason. That is not chosen! That's killed! Okay, we have to get out of here."

"Stop." Sam says.

"Yeah, I second that opinion." Andy says.

"Not sure that's an option." Jake says.

"What?" Ava asked.

"Lily was trying to leave. The demon's not gonna let us get away that easy. We've gotta gear up for the next attack." Sam says.

"Oh, gear up?" Ava asked.

"Yeah." Sam says.

"Okay, well, I'm not a soldier. I can't do that!" Ava says.

"Well, if you wanna stay alive, you're gonna have to. Let's go." Sam says.

"I'll get her down." Jake says to Sam.

"You know, I was just thinking about how much Dean would help right now. I'd give my arm for a working phone." Sam says.

Andy realizes something. "You know, you may not need one. I've never tried it long-distance before, but do you have anything of Dean's on you? Like, something he touched?" Andy asked as Sam searches his pockets.

"Uh...I've got a receipt. Would that work?" Sam asked.

"Yeah." Andy says as he looks at the signature on the receipt. "D. Hasselhoff?" Andy asks.

"Yeah, that's Dean's signature. It's hard to explain." Sam says.

"Alright." Andy says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

"This is..." Bobby says as he trails off.

"What the hell happened? We've got no way of knowing where Ellen and Ash is. Or, if they're even alive. Amelia and Jo are probably in Seattle. We've got no clue what Ash was gonna tell us. Now, how the hell, are we gonna find Sam?"

"We'll find Sam?" Bobby says, as that's when Dean clutches his head in pain. Dean groans and doubles over. Ana goes over to him in concern, as she has her hand on his back. He sees an image of the Cold Oak bell very quickly.

"What happened?" Ana asked.

"I don't know, a headache?" Dean says to Ana. "Must be the stress. I could have sworn I saw something."

"What do you mean? Like a vision? Like what Sam gets?" Bobby asked.

"What? No!" Dean says. "I'm not some psychic." He says.

Suddenly, the vision comes back. Dean, falls against the car in pain. He sees another image, this time of Sam.

"Dean? Dean!" Bobby says.

"I saw Sam? I saw him." Dean says.

"So, it was a vision." Ana says.

"Yeah, I don't know how, but yeah. That was about as fun as getting kicked in the jewels." Dean says, as Ana snorted.

"What else did you see?" Bobby asked.

"Uh... there was a bell." Dean says.

"What kind of bell?" Bobby asked.

"Like a big bell with some kind of engraving on it, I don't know."

"Was it a tree? Like an oak tree?" Ana asked.

"Yeah." Dean says.

"I know where, Sam is. Let's go." Ana says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Jake, and Sam are in a barn, trying to break some of the iron bars off one of the machines. Jake, however, grabs one of the bars and rips it off with his bare hands, as Sam stares at him stunned. "I'm not Superman or anything, it's no big deal." Jake says.

"You were in Afghanistan when this started?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, I started getting headaches. And then there was this accident. This guy flipped his vehicle on a bad road. He got pinned underneath. I lifted it off like it was nothing. Everybody said it was a fluke adrenaline thing." Jake says.

"But then you did it again, right?" Sam asked.

"Bench-pressed 800 pounds, stone-cold calm. I never told anybody, or course. It was just too crazy." Jake says.

"Yeah, crazy's relative." Sam says.

"I'm starting to get that." Jake says.

"Yeah." Sam says.

"By the way, I appreciate what you're doing here." Jake says.

"What am I doing?" Sam asked.

"Keeping calm. Keeping them calm. Especially considering how freaked to hell you really are. I've been in some deep shit before myself. I know the look." Jake says.

"You wanna know the truth? I got this brother, right? And he's always telling me how he's gonna watch out for me, how everything's gonna be okay. You know, kind of like I've been telling them." Sam says.

"Yeah?" Jake asked.

"I don't know if I believe it this time. I mean, the size of what's coming -- it's bigger than anyone has ever seen. I mean, it's gonna get bad. And I don't know if--" Sam says.

"If we're gonna make it? It doesn't matter if we believe it. Only matters that they do." Jake says.

Later, Sam and Ava are in one of the houses, lining the doors and windows with salt. "My horoscope said I shouldn't had gotten out of bed." Ava says with a scoff that leaves her lips. "How are you doing? Holding up?" Ava asked the youngest Winchester.

"I'm okay. What about you?" Sam asked.

"Not so okay. Why us, Sam? What did we do to deserve this?" Ava asked.

"Just lucky, I guess." Sam says.

"If it wasn't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all. I just can't wait for this all to be over so I can just pretend it never happened. I just wanna curl up with Lizzie and watch a bad TV show." Ava says as she notices Sam shifting uncomfortably. "What is it? Sam... do you know something that I don't?" Ava asked him.

"Look, Ava... I'm sorry. I wish I didn't have to tell you this." Sam says.

"Tell me what?" Ava asked.

"When the demon broke into your house to take you... Lizzie didn't make it. I'm sorry." Sam says.

"No, that's...no!" Ava says as Sam holds her while she sobs.

That night, the entire group is sitting in one room, silent. Sam is struggling to stay awake, closing his eyes every so often. Suddenly, in the corner of the room, he sees the yellow-eyed demon. "Jake! Behind you!" Sam yells out as Jake doesn't hear him.

"Howdy, Sam." The demon says.

"I'm dreaming." Sam says not believing that he is actually seeing the demon there.

"What do you say you and I take a little walk?" The demon asked.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The demon leads Sam outside, in Sam's dream. "You're awfully quiet, Sam. You're not mad at me, are you?" The demon asked casually.

"I'm gonna tear you to shreds, I swear to--" Sam says.

"When you wake up, tiger, you give it your best shot." The demon says with a chuckle.

"Where's my brother? Where's Ana?" He asked.

"Quit worrying about Dean and little Annie. I'd worry more about yourself." The demon says.

"Why? You gonna kill me?" Sam asked.

"I'm trying to help you. That's why we're talking. You're the one I'm rooting for." The demon says.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Sam asked.

"Welcome to the Miss America pageant. Why do you think you're here? This is a competition. Only one of you crazy kids is gonna make it out of here alive." The demon says.

"I thought we were supposed to be--" Sam says but the demon cut him off.

"Soldiers in a coming war? That's true. You are. But here's the thing: I don't need soldiers. I need soldier. I just need the one." The demon says.

"Why?" Sam asked.

"Well, I couldn't just come out and say that, could I, Sam? I had to let everyone think they had a fighting chance. But what I need... is a leader." The demon says.

"To lead who?" Sam asked.

"Oh, I've already got my army. Or, I will soon, anyway." The demon says.

"You son of a bitch." Sam says.

"Honestly, I'm surprised you hadn't guessed. I mean, why do you think so many children flamed out already? Max Miller and Andy's brother, what's-his-name? They weren't strong enough. I'm looking for the best and brightest of your generation." The demon says.

"My generation?" Sam asked.

"Well, there's other generations, but let's just worry about yours. That's why I'm here, Sam. I wanna give you the inside track. You're tough. You're smart. You're well-trained, thanks to your daddy. Sam - Sammy - you're my favorite." The demon says.

"You ruined my life. You killed everyone I love." Sam says to the demon.

"The cost of doing business, I'm afraid. I mean, sweet little Jessica -- she just had to die. You were all set to marry that little blonde thing, become a tax lawyer with two kids, a beer gut, and a little McMansion in the suburbs. I needed you sharp, on the road, honoring your skills. Your gifts." The demon says.

"What about my mom?" Sam asked.

"That was bad luck." The demon says.

"Bad luck?" Sam asked.

"She walked in on us. Wrong place, wrong time." The demon says.

"What does that mean?" Sam asked.

"It wasn't about her. It was about you. It's always been about you." The demon says.

"What?" Sam asked, as there a long pause, as the demon watches Sam.

"Well... okay. You caught me in a charitable mood. I'll show you." The demon says, as he snaps his fingers and he and Sam are suddenly in Sam's nursery, back on the night Mary died. "Look familiar? It should." Sam watches his six-month-old self crying in his crib, while the yellow-eyed demon from the past stands over him all those years ago. "Relax, Sam, this is just a high-def instant replay. Enjoy the show."

Mary enters the room, looking tired as she was woken up by Sam crying. "John?" She asked.

"Mom!" Sam yells to her but she doesn't hear him.

"Is he hungry." Mary asked thinking it was John but not knowing that it was the demon as the room was dark and the demon was facing Mary

"Shh." The demon whispers to her.

"Okay." Mary says as she then leaves the room.

"Wait, Mom. Mom!" Sam yells after Mary.

"What did I tell you, Sam? She can't hear you. This isn't real." The demon says as they watch as the past demon slices his own wrist with his nail. He drips some of the blood into baby Sam's mouth.

"What the hell are you doing to me?" Sam asked the demon.

"Better than mother's milk." The demon says.

"Does this mean, I have demon blood in me?" Sam asked as the demon chuckles. "Answer me!" He yells at the demon.

Mary suddenly rushes back into the room, the demon turns to her, revealing his yellow eyes. "It's you." Mary says to the demon.

"She knew you." Sam says.

Mary begins to walk closer to the demon but he forces her against the wall. They watch as she slowly moves up the wall, until she is pinned to the ceiling

"No!" Sam yells as Mary continues to slid upward. "No!" He yells again, as the demon snaps his fingers again, and Sam jolts awake in the abandoned South Dakota house.

"Sam, wake up! Ava's missing." Jake says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Jake and Sam go outside. "I'll take the barn and the hotel. You take the houses." Jake says.

"Alright, meet back here in ten minutes, okay?" Sam says.

"Okay." Jake says.

Sam begins his walk to the houses. Ava peeks her head out from around the corner, but Sam doesn't see her. Meanwhile, Andy, has stayed back at the abandoned building. When he turns, Ava is standing in the room with him. She drags her finger along the salt on the windowsill, breaking the line. "Ava, where'd you go? Didn't you hear us yelling?"

"Yeah, I heard you." Ava says as she stares at him for a moment, then puts her hands to her head concentrating. A cloud of black demon smoke appears outside the window. Since the salt line has been broken, it is able to enter the room through the window.

"What are you doing?" Andy says as the smoke suddenly materializes into the demonic little girl. "Holy..." Andy says but it is too late as the demon girl knocks him down and wastes no time in killing him.

He screams in pain, as his blood splatters everywhere until he is completely dead. Ava watches his corpse for a second, amused, then begins screaming.

Outside, Sam hears Ava screaming and hurries inside. He sees her crying and pointing to Andy's now dead body. "Sam! I just found him like this!" Ava yells.

"What happened?" Sam asked her.

"I don't know!" Ava says.

"How'd that thing get in? Where were you?" Sam asked her.

"I just went to get some water from the well. I was only gone maybe, like two minutes!" Ava says.

"You shouldn't have gone outside. Ava, we have to stay in here--" Sam says as he notices the salt on the window. "Who did that?"

"I don't know, maybe Andy--" Ava says.

"Andy wouldn't do that, Ava, that line wasn't broken when I left. Ava." Sam says.

"What? You don't think that I--" Ava says but she got cut off by Sam.

"I'll tell you what I think: five months. You're the only one with all that time you can't account for. And that headache you got? Right when the demon got Lily." Sam says.

"What are you trying to say?" Ava asked.

"What happened to you?" Sam asked her.

"Nothing!" Ava says as Sam stares her down until a minute later, she drops the act and laughs a little. "Had you going though, didn't I?" She says as she wiped her eyes. "Yeah, I've been here a long time, and not alone either. People just keep showing up. Children like us, batches of three or four at a time."

"You killed them? All of them?" Sam asked.

"I'm the undefeated heavyweight champ." Ava says.

"Oh, my God." Sam says.

"Don't think God has much to do with this, Sam." Ava says.

"How could you?" Sam asked.

"I had no choice. It's me or them. After a while, it was easy. It was even kind of fun. I just stopped fighting it." Ava says.

"Fighting what?" Sam asked.

"Who we are, Sam. If you'd just quiet your handwringing and open yourself up, you have no idea what you can do. The learning curve is so fast, it's crazy, the switches that you flip in your brain." Ava says as she laughs. "I can't believe I started out just having dreams. Do you know what I can do now?" Ava says.

"Control demons." Sam says.

"Ah, you are quick on the draw." Ava says as she puts her head to her hands. "Yeah, I'm sorry, Sam, but it's over." Ava says.

The cloud of black smoke returns to the window. Just as it is about to enter, Jake comes from behind Ava and twists her neck, killing her instantly. The demonic smoke leaves the window and disappears.

Outside, near the edge of the woods, Bobby, Dean and Ana pull up in the impala. "Well, it looks like the rest of the ways on foot." Bobby says as they open the trunk and grab some guns.

"Let's go." Ana says, as back at the building, Sam and Jake leave and head outside.

"I think we can make it out of here now." Sam says.

"But the Acheri demon..." Jake says.

"No, no, no. Ava was summoning it, controlling it. It shouldn't come back now that she's dead. We gotta go." Sam says.

"Not 'we' Sam. Only one of us is getting out of here. I-I'm sorry." Jake says.

"What?" Sam asked.

"I had a vision. That yellow-eyed demon or whatever it was, he talked to me. He told me how it was." Jake says.

"No, Jake, listen. You can't listen to him." Sam says.

"S-Sam, he's not letting us go. Only one. Now, if we don't play along, he'll kill us both. Now, I-I like you, man. I do. But do the math here. What good's it do for both of us to die? Now, I can get out of here. I get close to the demon; I can kill the bastard." Jake says.

"You come with me; we can kill him together." Sam says.

"How do I know you won't turn on me?" Jake asked.

"I won't." Sam says.

"I don't know that." Jake says.

"Okay, look." Sam says as he takes out his knife, shows it to Jake, and places it on the ground. "Just come with me, Jake. Don't do this. Don't play into what it wants." Sam says, as after a pause, Jake places his weapon on the ground as well, as Sam looks relieved thinking that it is going a little smoother, as he sighs in relief. "Okay."

Suddenly, Jake punches him with his super-strength, Sam goes flying across the field and crashes onto the ground. Jake approaches, kicking down the fence and leaning over Sam

───※ ·❆· ※───

Sam is on the ground, winded and Jake and him watch each other as Jake approaches. As Jake suddenly makes a fast approach to kick Sam, Sam kicks out himself; the two men exchange blows with Sam on the ground, and then he leverages himself up. Each land multiple blows, one blow hits Sam's right arm and shoulder with a bone-crunching sound, knocking him down again. He gets up quickly although clearly in pain.

Jake approaches and swings at Sam, but Sam ducks out of the way and Jake's punches goes through a wooden railing, temporarily holding him. Sam knees him several times, then kicks him down. As Jake lies there, winded, Sam picks up the iron bar that Jake was using and knocks him out. Sam approaches the unconscious Jake, and consideringly lifts the bar as if to strike -- he hesitates a moment and then tosses the bar to the ground.

Just as he tosses it aside, he hears from a distance, Ana calling his name. "Sam!" Ana calls out.

Sam hears Ana, and turns towards him, still clutching his arm, and nearly staggering with exhaustion. he sees Dean, Ana and Bobby approaching with flashlights towards him. they walk towards each other in the rain. "Ana!" Sam says in relief and happiness.

Jake suddenly wakes up; he grabs the knife that Sam had placed on the ground. "Sam, look out!" Ana yells as she picks up her pace.

But it is too late.

Jake stabs the knife right through Sam's back, that's when Ana and now Dean take off dashing towards Sam. Jake twists the knife, creating a massive wound, before running away.

Sam gasps falling to his knees, while Bobby chases after Jake, Dean and Ana slides to the ground in front of Sam. Dean grabs Sam's clothing, trying to keep him conscious.

"No, Sam!" Dean yells, as Sam falls forward onto Dean's shoulder. "Sam! Hey, come here. Let me look at you."

Ana places her hand on the wound on Sam's back, which has her entire palm in blood, Dean's eyes move towards Ana's bloody palm.

"Hey, look at me. It's not even that bad. It's not even that bad, alright? Sammy? Sam!" Dean says as he is holding Sam, looking at him, and Sam's head is wobbling. "Hey, listen to me. Me and Annie will patch you up, okay? You'll be good as new. Huh? We're gonna take care of you. I'm gonna take care of you. I've got you. That's my job, right? Watch out for my pain-in-the-ass little brother?" Dean says as he touches his brother's face. "Sam? Sam! Sam! Sammy!"

Ana lets out a gasp when she sees Sam's eyes sliding shut, as his entire body slumps forward.

With tears streaming down his face, Dean rocks Sam in his arm as he dies.

Ana moves to that she is behind Dean, and she holds him, tightly in his arms, as Dean cries. She doesn't bother saying, 'it's okay', or that, 'it will be okay', because how is this okay. This is most definitely not okay, by any means. Ana softly cries also, as she presses a kiss on Dean's shoulder. The two of them don't say anything, as nothing came to mind, as they are both silent as Sam is now dead.
