Have you all ever heard that life never goes as planned , if yes then congrats you heard the right thing. She realised it over time that life doesn't always go as planned.

"Breakfast" she Heard his voice .

She - venika singh. The girl was literally love . Anyone can fell in love with her , she is too sweet that one might get diabetes. She has a problem she puts herself behind everyone. For her he is her first priority.

He - Advay Thakur . Software Engineer who started his own company a year back after going through lot's of struggle . But all this while he wasn't alone , she was there with him all the time . Providing with emotional, financial, physical support. Many people have left him while his struggle days but she stood till the end . His company was doing great. You can say his success is owned by venika but he himself didn't dedicate it to her , it's people who saw them from the start. Probably might hurt his male ego.

Quickly wiping her hands ,she took the plate outside towards the dinning table where he was sitting all clad in a suit busy in his phone. This is something which she is still not used to . Him always being so cold towards her. Sounds strange right! A boyfriend being cold towards his girlfriend. Sometimes she feel like she was living in Antarctica rather than in delhi and it was summer .

He started eating without even giving her a glance. His phone played an important role in his life. They had thier breakfast in complete silence as usual. While he was about to get up she spoke "today is Saturday advay let's go somewhere nice na ". Maybe he was gonna say no even this time. She thought. It was obvious for her since he always said no to her whenever she asked his time.

"Ok "he said and went away. Wow did she heard it . He agreed so easily. Ahmm you all must be thinking that she is overreacting but this is her genuine reaction , he never had time for her and for some reason she never complained as i said he is her first priority. His work kept him more busy day by day . It's been a long time since they had a simple talk over a dinner the past months.

She being all excited went towards the rooms and started selecting the dress for tonight. She even forgot to eat anything in the excitement and you know she forgot one more thing, the milk she kept on boil . The kitchen floor was turned Milky amd she face palmed herself. If it would have been her mother here she would nicely wooped her ass with slippers . She cleaned it which definetly took a lot of her time . The pan was all burned which would probably take her a lifetime to get it cleaned .

So she simply soaked it in white vinegar and baking soda mixture. For a minute she thought maybe the milk was cursed it was third time in a week that this happened. She wasn't that usual careless type of girl . She remembers her work quite clearly everytime . Deciding on buying a different carton of milk tomorrow she made her way outside the kitchen.

It was evening already ,she got ready and called him to ask when is he reaching but his phone got forwarded to voicemail . Trying a couple of times more but then it said it's switch off. Maybe the battery died . Sighing she sat on the couch thinking about her life.

Venika and advay have been in a relationship for almost 3 years now. They met through common friends and fell in love. They are still in boyfriend- girlfriend phase.

It was almost 11 at night when she decided to change into something comfortable only to hear the main gate open. He came in and looked at her like she is some alien.

God knows why does he gets surprise everytime he sees her waiting for him , knowing that she always stays awake until he returns home.

"You are awake this late , did u went somewhere". He asked raising his one eyebrows.

Seriously?

Did he forget again? Guess what he did! Told you his work is his first priority.

Suddenly his face lost its colour and his eyes showed guilt. "I am sorry
Venika , it just completely slipped off my mind".

"That's why i used to call you to remind you but no you even had the problem in that". She said trying her best not to sound rude. He has strictly told her not to disturb him by calling him in office .

He looked down maybe out of guilt or maybe irritated by thinking that she is gonna create a drama and yell at him .

"Get freshen up i will make something for dinner". She was about to move when he said "i already had it " .

Without saying anything she left from there to change. She was hurt obviously and why won't she be , he has been like this since past months probably one month after he started his own company. She was tired of all this, he never ask her about how her day went . Was this even a normal relationship?

"I fucked up . I literally fucked up . How can i forget our plan. If the sudden emergency of game wouldn't have come up i would have reached on time. But no worries , she will be fine ..she never get's angry on me , so i can easily convience her . " Advay thought . Was he real?

He went in thier room to change and saw She was sleeping covered till top with blanket . "Did you had your dinner" he asked. Maybe he had something still left inside him to ask her this question.

"Why do u care?" She just said blankly. She wasn't usually this rude maybe the last string of her patience was about to get loose.

"Stop this drama venika . It's not a big deal ". He said irritated.

"Drama.... This is the fifth time in a row that you stood me up advay . I am a human i too have feelings . If I don't complain then that doesn't mean that I don't have feelings. I am tired of this" . She sobbed.

"So what even i am tired of this. I don't enjoy in the office . I work my ass off there to provide you with the best" .

"I don't need that. I need.... you with me ..i need your time". She said plainly shocked with what he just said.

"Kya choti bachi ho kya that you need me all the time." He shouted in anger.

"Choti bachi toh nahi but i am girlfriend for sure and everyone crave for thier patners love , time and care ".

"Let it be venika". He sighed.

"That's what i always do , let it be . Do you even think of me as your love or just as a maid who cooks for you , clean your house ".

"Just shut up venika it's enough."

"That's what i am saying advay , it's enough , i can't live like this. We hardly talk anymore , you don't have time for me. ".

"Venika i am tired let's not talk today please".

Looking at his tired self she felt guilty. Maybe even today is not her day. She relentlessly aggreed and decided to let go of the topic. Her hunger was long forgotten by her stomach.

Time passed but nothing seems to be on its point. Everything in thier life was just messed up. He as usual was busy in his work. Time is precious one should never waste it but our time should sometimes be consumed by our loved ones.

"Niel complete the presentation by today". Advay said to his friend who was working with him in his company.

"Dude chill don't be so workoholic , this is the third presentation in the week. Cut me some time yrr . Because of you i can't even spend time with kajal , she is getting so angry on me".
Niel complained like a baby.

"That's your problem".

"Not just mine dude. This is the problem of the entire universe... Women. But i guess your case is completely different. I have never seen venika conplain about you."

"She won't because she knows work is my first priority".

"And what about her ...on which number in your priorities list is she?"

Advay didn't say anything.

"Leave it .. nowadays even she keeps on complaining. She keeps on forgetting things every now and then which just spoils my whole mood. You know sometimes she add too much salt or sometime none . God knows where her head ia these days."

"C'mon yrr.. it can be because she might be stressed. The way i see u work i understand that you are not giving her time. "

"I don't have time to waste with her niel . The empire that i have created with so much hardwork i can't just let it go downhill".

"She stood by you while you were struggling to create this empire advay."

"Don't worry about her niel . I will gift her something expensive and she will be fine".

"I guess you never understood her advay. When she will not be there for you na then you will get to know ner true value , but i guess that day will never come because she will always be by your side from the way i see her . Just don't fuck up your relations more than it already is ".

Hearing the footsteps she made her way out of the company. It hurted her so much . She never thought he would think of her as such. She was always trying to hold onto the broken pieces left in their relationship but now she is too broken to hold onto the broken pieces. Maybe she was scared of accepting the reality , the brutal reality that maybe he never loved her . Or maybe she was scared of being left alone .

She left her parents for him . She went against them and supported him with all her strength and now that he has everything he just feels like this. She felt used. Hef heart was broken into millions of small pieces.
