"Let's get to the elevator," charlie shouts with a voice crack.

The shaved head man pops out from the side, blocking our way. We abruptly stop.

Charlie screams, falling onto the ground.

I slowly back up. We didn't notice the other guys coming from all sides then they started to grab us, pulling away.

I try to shove them off.

"no..no let go of me," berger yells.

lizzie was shouting and we were all yelling.

I try to hit the guy with my other hand as only one hand was being restrained by him.

The guy picks me up, and i'm kicking my feet.

"Oh no..." charlie whispers as he sees the scene unfolds.

"WE WILL PRESS CHARGES," lizzie shouts.

"Let me go," i scream.

The guys brings us down and we had to walk in front of them.

"Bravo, bravo. Didn't doubt you for a second," argon claps his hand as the man held the orb from charlie.

"Alright, now bring it down here... and the kid," argon orders him.

We were all sitting down with them aiming guns at us.

I was sat between charlie and maya. Berger, big mac, and lizzie on the other side.

"I never doubted you for a second. not one second," argon tells the man. he slowly walks to the man

The man stops him from coming close to him.

"That's why you tried to fire me yesterday, right," he asks, sarcastically.

"What do we do with the rugrats," another lanky man asks.

"Let's... get rid of them," argon says still looking at the man.

Lizzie mouths to Berger, "what?!". Charlie and I look at each other.

"Murder wasn't part of the plan, ansel," the man says. "Give it to me," argon says.

I signal charlie to look up. It was the portal hoop.

Men started aiming guns at the man's head.

"Don't move, Irons."

Lizzie nudged big mac to look at the bracelet on the table.

Berger pulls out his magnet wand and points it to the orb and it fell on argon's watch. He starts freaking out.

Charlie gets up to grab the portal. The orb flew out of argon's hand from the magnet and charlie holds up the portal. The orb flew right in, disappearing to Berger's locker.

Lizzie signals to big mac to go.

Charlie threw the portal far away when argon tried to grab it from him, and it lands on the platform of the 3d printer.

Big mac puts the bracelet on.

Argon ran to the portal and puts his hand through trying to find the orb.

"Blast it," lizzie shouts. "Big mac," berger screams. "Hurry!"

Big mac blasts the portal, destroying it.

"Portal connection broken."

"Put your hands up," the guy orders us.

"Yeah, put your hands up! Where's the other portal," argon yells.

We all look at each other confused. We knew it'd but they didn't need to.

Maya shrugs and we all look around.

ding

The elevator.

We all look up and wait to see who it was.

"Who the heck are you," argon shouts at them.

A blonde man comes to the railing, "woah woah don't shoot! don't shoot!"

He has his hands up.

"Im just the I.T guy. I was alerted to a security breach," he says.

I look over to the others and see if they would notice my glance. Maya looks over at me and moves her head towards charlie. Ohhh.

"I didn't know it was zero dark thirty in here," he says.

"Hey! what are you doing. Stay, right there," argon tells him.

"Let me come down cause there's a weird echo. So we're not shouting at each other," he says.

"What?!"

"All these echoes. It's a big space," he explains. "Oh yeah.. there is an echo," argon says.

Charlie's dad slowly comes down here. "I've been telling the guy he's gotta work on the acoustics," he sighs.

"Is that him? Is that the guard," argon asks irons. Irons just stares at the blonde man.

"And the cell phone service is terrible," charlie's dad continues. "Well, i shouldn't say terrible. It's not where i want it to be. I'm gonna work on that."

"Is that the guard," he continues to ask.

He makes his way towards us.

We all just watch him and listen to him ramble on about nonsense.

"Okay... are you the guard," argon asks Mr. kincaid. "No.. i'm definitely not the guard," he scoffs lightly.

Charlie and I exchange glances.

"I'm more of a luigi than a mario. But if you need firmware or cyber security then i'm your huckleberry," charlie's dad says.

"Okay then.. how would you deal with DDoS malware," argon asks him.

"uh you probably wanna hit it with a little.. anti-DDoS malware," he answers. Argon scoffs, "check his purse."

The woman goes to him, "What's in the fanny pack?"

"Can anybody say front butt," argon whispers funnily.

"Nothing.. just fanny pack stuff. I mean i got some... you know, lip balm, sunglasses, hand sanitizer-"

"open it. slowly," a guy tells him.

He reaches slowly to his fanny pack and open it.

"Yeah it's a fanny pack, i mean.. see," he says.

"Oh and some gum," he reaches in.

"HES GOT A GUN," the guy shouts.

Argon yelps.

His arm quickly gets engulfed with an armor like glove. Shields appeared around him. He shoots something at a guy and he disappears in the dark mist.

He makes openings in his shield and we all got behind it.

They were shooting at it and we went to hide behind each of the pillars.

Charlie's dad comes beside charlie.

"You okay," he asks. "Yeah.. yes," charlie answers hurriedly.

"Stay back! stay back," he tells berger and them to hide.

"Listen, charlie. I got something to tell you..." he looks at charlie out of breath.

"Yeah. Dad.. dad.." charlie tries to interrupt him.

"This may come as a shock..Charlie please," his dad tries to hush him.

"I am the guard," he whispers. Charlie looks at him. "Oh my god, really," he says sarcastically in a high pitch tone. "Okay, we'll talk more about it later," his dad says.

He goes out of hiding to go shoot lasers at the guys.

Then he comes back shortly after.

"Power level critical."

"Dang it! The suit's out of power," he huffs.

"You could've chosen anything and you chose a fanny pack," charlie criticizes.

"It's practical.."

"Hey guys, we're clear," i say, getting up.

"One.. two," his dad gets up and we all go to a direction into the tunnel.
