"W-What?" Jungkook feels his heart dropping, the world slows down until all time has stopped.

He gulps as his eyes swiftly landed on those pretty long legs of Tae which were hidden under the silk quilt. Sweat drips down his forehead as he feels fear and something else maybe a bit of excitement.

"Hyung i don't think its that bad, maybe its because of the anesthesia." Tae says sweetly, suddenly having an urge to comfort the alpha after inhaling the troubled pheromones he let out

Maybe because the situation seemed so unreal he still didn't truly believe or think that he had lost his ability to walk, so he was not really that worried.

Jungkook nods and leans forward, grabbing Tae by the back of his slender neck. He kisses the younger lips roughly and gets up.

"Hyung will come back soon sweetheart, please get some sleep okay?" Jungkook promises and makes Tae go to sleep.

He walks out of Tae's room calmly, even though internally he was going through too many emotions together

His emotions ranged from happiness to anger to worry to a maniac disorder

As he came out, he saw Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok and Chinsun waiting outside.

"Jin!" He calls and calmly asks the beta doctor "What's wrong with Tae's legs?"

Jin gulps and replies "The assailant not only grabbed him, and mentally harassed him but he bombarded Tae with his strong alpha pheromones. This caused a rebellion inside Tae's body because of the unknown pheromone bombardment and caused him to lose consciousness. And according to Tae the assailant had a baseball bat. From my hypothesis, The assailant repeatedly beat his legs using that baseball bat causing fractures on his fibula. Thankfully it was his fibula so we can heal it using his own werewolf regeneration but it will take time. Since he is an omega, his werewolf regeneration is just a bit higher than that of humans. But because he is mated to you, a true blood alpha Tae can take advantage of pheromones which will increase his healing"

Jungkook silently listens to all of it and unknowingly let out a sigh of relief.

He was glad his sweetheart wasn't fully disabled. But he was also excited to have Tae depend on his using those healing time at least, just the thought of it gave him shivers of excitement to his heart and somewhere else too.

"You didn't have to go this far, i didn't really think u would do this Jungkook" Hobi says looking scared and worried

"Yeah you said you w-would just scare him a little, Y-you didn't have to break his legs" Jin says tears gathering in his eyes as he felt bad for the omega

"Guys what the fuck are u blabbering?" Jungkook asks confused as fuck "Do u guys actually think i did that?"

"You didn't?" Namjoon asks confused "I mean ofc you didn't haha"

"Of course not, My darling hasn't angered me that much for me to go to that length. When i talked about breaking his legs, it was just a fantasy of mine hoseok for fucks sake. I am not gonna physically hurt him unless he does something too much which i know he wont." Jungkook spat feeling annoyed "He is my omega and I know how he is, just scaring him a little will make him timid, he is weak spirited due to the lack of constant love and affection."

"But then who else did? I thought u were just acting infront of others" Namjoon says

Jungkook cackles looking even more annoyed "Acting? What for? I was fucking damn serious when i said i would fuck u up if u don't find that bastard whoever touched Tae in time, Joon."

Joon gulps "Ofc sir, I will do my very best" He bows and quickly walks away to starts his investigation

"Jin administer Tae with harmless anesthetics, He should not be in even a little pain. Hobi use ur magic to help Joon with his search. I want that bastard in my dungeon in a week. I can't wait longer than that" Jungkook says coldly "Chinsun send a letter to Tae's college about his accident and ask for leave or something"

Everybody nods and runs to do their tasks, afraid of even being a little tardy as that might cost them their life.

Jungkook goes inside their room, to find Tae sleeping peacefully. He caressed the younger's face softly, a dark look on his face.

'If only i hadn't been late' He thought

According to the original plan, as soon as Tae was alone Jungkook was supposed to come behind tae and scarily talk to him about omegas being prey and stuff just to scare the younger off a little. But Jungkook couldn't reach in time because as soon as he tried to enter the school, numerous girls saw him and started screaming and asking for his number. By the time he paused all this useless trash and reached the hallway, he found Tae unconscious and bleeding on the floor.

To be honest, he wasn't that mad or worried about Tae's situation. He knew he should be But the moment it was confirmed he would be disabled at least temporarily he had to control in the creepy ass smile that tried to rush out.

Jungkook smirks as he brushes Tae's curls, His heart pounding so fast just by watching the other sleep. He eyes intensely followed each breath the younger took in and let out. How the omega's chest rose and fell, with such seductive rhythm.

From when did it look so sexy to be just alive and breathing?

Sometimes Jungkook would spend an entire night just watching Taehyung sleep, while not even moving an inch from his spot. He was so obsessed with the other that he started to see the entire world as black and white except for Tae who was always in color.

Even though he was delighted about Tae's current condition, It still didn't make him any less angry when he thought about that foreign alpha bastard who touched what's his and giving trauma to his darling.

He was a little jealous, not gonna lie.

He didn't like the idea of anyone else giving trauma to Tae.

Every major emotion Tae had was supposed to be because of him. He couldn't let any dumb bitch steal the attention that he has over Tae's body, heart, mind and soul.

But he wasn't worried as he would soon have that foreign alpha bastard withering to death in his dungeon, tortured till he regrets even being born. He was gonna have fun slicing those fingers which touched his omega into little pieces, breaking his humerus, ulna, radul into pieces so tiny u couldn't recognize they were bone pieces. he is also not gonna leave the bastard's tongue alone, the tongue which mentally harassed his omega was gonna be cut into pieces.

That was a promise.

Taehyung wakes up the next day to find Jungkook looking at him.

His pale body which was recovering from the attack immediately flushes red.

"Hyung! stop staring!" Tae mutters covering his face shyly

There was something about Jungkook's gaze, It was too powerful and intense. Anyone could feel the love Jungkook had for Taehyung, because his eyes never lied. They craved for Tae's form. His eyes never wanted to see anything else other than Taehyung.

Ofc such an intense gaze was too much for any normal person.

"Did Jin hyung say anything about what's going on with my legs Hyung?" Tae asks earnestly

Jungkook smiles and kisses the younger's forehead softly. "There is something i have to tell you and this might be a bit of a shock but don't panic and listen to me carefully"

Taehyung pauses his breath and listens

"Hyung is sorry but your legs are actually not going to work Taehyung-ah. They are broken after that bastard beat them" Jungkook says in his most comforting voice, trying to be careful "But don't worry, Jin hyung is already working on the cure. You can walk again soon, we will try our best to find a cure. we already have started searching for medicine. You have nothing to wor-"

Before Jungkook could complete, he sees a tear fall down from Taehyung's pretty eyes.

then two then three then four

then a complete rain falls from his eyes.

Jungkook's eyes widens immediately and he instinctively pulls the younger against him, hugging him tightly as the omega cries against his chest.

Taehyung sobs vulnerably as he was feeling so afraid, so scared all of a sudden. Its like he was trapped in some bad nightmare and not being able to get out.

why was the possibility of not walking so scary?

He felt trapped, suffocated, and paralyzed from fear.

Taehyung's heart wept against Jungkook as the older released comforting pheromones to calm the younger. The younger's cries would make any living being feel heartbroken, the melodic sad ache of his voice was so beautiful yet filled with misery.

"Please darling, don't cry like this it makes me wanna kill myself" Jungkook mutters heartbroken "I feel terrible at not being able to protect you"

Taehyung shakes his head, wiping his tears '"No please, I am so sorry hyung, i am being such a burden to u always. I don't deserve to be ur omega, I am sorry, so sorry" He babbles apologies feeling useless as an omega

His inner omega was grieving as he felt so foolish all of a sudden

If he had just listened to Jungkook and remained at home, he wouldn't have gone through this and lost his legs. He had ignored Jungkook's words and had made the older send him to college. And look he was being punished for being a brat, he was facing the consequences for his own actions.

"there there, it all going to be okay sweetheart. Don't worry, your Hyung is always here for you" Jungkook says softly

Taehyung whimpers and hugs the older, he was lucky to have an alpha so in love with him and an alpha who cared so much about him. He snugged tighter into the Jungkook's arms not noticing the smirk that had creeped on to the older's lips
