Emilia was born in Barcelona, Spain. She lived a normal childhood, her father was a carpenter and her mother was a nurse. At the age of 13, she knew that she wanted to be an actress. So she started to act in commercials and continued to do so until she was older. She also started to take classes for dancing flamenco, salsa, and merengue. She had a few big roles on Spanish TV, and then she made her big debut in the first Thor movie, and the first Avengers movie as well. At this point, her career had skyrocketed in a way she didn't expect would happen.

She met Chris Hemsworth for the first Thor movie, and the two instantly clicked and started to date. After a year of being together, the two decided to elope and before you know it she was pregnant with their first child. As the years went on, they ended up having three children and are happily married.
