Ximena wasn't always a rich girl, no, it wasn't until she turned 12 that life took off. Prior to everything changing for her family. They used to live in Crenshaw, they were struggling to make ends meet, Mena was constantly missing school to take care of the kids. Her dad used to do some shady stuff to make sure they had some decent money for the house, or for school. After she turned 12, it was around the time, that her mother and father finished school, and started to work in their fields of work. Her father is a surgeon, and her mother is an attorney. It was quite the change of life but a good one for their huge family. Back then though, her father used to be a thug but that was before she was born and he decided to clean up his life. She had a happy childhood, just a difficult one having to constantly take care of her siblings over and over again. Hell the only help she got was from her adoptive sister, the two have quite the friendship. It was hard for her to have time for herself, even when things took off, her parents never hired a nanny or anything, it was all left for Ximena and Callie to deal with it.

Jordan Baker (They used to date. Jordan and Ximena met through their mothers since Mrs. Cedeno happens to be an attorney as well. She and Jordan dated for months but Ximena went through a period where she was emotionally burned out with school, clubs, and taking care of her siblings, prompting her to end things with Jordan. Though the two hooked up at prom which left her pregnant. The two got back together and actually got hitched in Vegas.)
