You sighed as the pitter-patter of the rain collided onto the windows, it had been raining all day but you weren't going to complain. Rain always did have a soothing tone to them, something about how they'd gracefully fall onto the windows soothed you, so much so that yo hadn't realized a certain ghost floating close to your figure.

"(Y/N)~" Hanako whispered into your ear, sending shivers down your spine immediately.

You nearly jumped out of your seat due to the unexpected shock. However, the book in your hand met an unfortunate incident, you jad dropped the book and lost the page you were reading.

You were devastated, it was getting to the good part and this little brat just had to..!

"Aww, you looked so cute when you got scared, hmm.. maybe I should do that more sometimes?" Hanako teased and proceeded to poke your cheeks. "Why are you in the library during recess anyway? I looked all over for yo-"

He was cut off by you shoving the book that had dropped moments ago into his face. "I was reading a really good book!" You whined. "And now you made me lose the page, thanks a bunch Hanako, I really appreciate it."

Hanako chuckled at your sarcasm, clearly loving it. He gave you a few head pats before settling down next to you, he leaned his head against your shoulder. "Of course! I'm the best aren't I?"

"Yeah yeah," you emotionlessly replied before opening up your book once more.

The serene silence was peaceful, the usual Hanako constantly poking you or disturbing you was replaced by small snores.

The said boy rested peacefully on your lap, ocassionally twisting and turning to find a comfortable spot.

You closed your book, placing it on the table before looking down at Hanako.

It was nice to see him in such a vulnerable state, or maybe he was just pretending to be asleep but had already woken up? Who knows.

You could read any book and comprehend them perfectly but Hanako was a different story. He was often hard to comprehend which made it a challenge for you to get to know him better, but that's exactly why you're so intrigued.

You stroked his hair as he continued his soon-to-be-disturbed peaceful slumber.

The boy suddenly snuggled his face into your stomach, making you gasp in surprise.

"Hanak-"

"(Y/N)-chan, you know it's pretty rude to disturb someone's slumber.." His said words being muffled by your clothed belly. "I was getting to the good part of my dream! We almost kiss-"

His sentence was cut off by you harshly smacking his back followed by a groan from the said boy.

"Hanako, I need not to know about your fantasies," you said with the most monotonous voice you could muster.

"Aww, don't be like that (Y/N)-chan~" Hanako hopped up from his resting position and proceeds to poke your cheeks.

You said nothing except embracing him as a way to shut him up, pressing his face onto your chest.

The boy blushed at the contact, not really knowing how to comprehend the situation, he just froze in that position. That is.. until the two were interrupted by a certain someone.

"Alright you two, get a room."

Out came a Tsuchigomori behind the fully stacked book shelves, staring at the two love-dovey students.

"S-sensei! I swear we weren't doing anything-" you spoke as your words continuously stumbled upon each other.

In the end, the two of you were shooed out of the library by Tsuchigomori. You had tried explaining the awkward position but he honestly couldn't care less.
