A/N: Sorry for the short chapter, but this was just supposed to be a fun idea anyways. The matching tattoo design they have is the necklace that Ekko gave the other universe Powder, but the design idea just came to Jinx naturally in this timeline. Enjoy, and don't forget to vote and comment <3

Ekko's POV

Outside of a Piltover tattoo shop, Ekko played with the adjustments of his hoverboard as he waited for Jinx. Pilties passed him, looking at the Firelight oddly but didn't comment. After the final battle with Warwick, many people visited Piltover and Zaun, and vice-versa. Suddenly, Jinx staggered out of the tattoo shop. "Oh, you're done alreadyโ€”"

"Get out of my shop!" the owner hollered as Jinx dusted her knees, scrambling to her feet. The store's door slammed as Jinx stuck up her middle finger, releasing a chain of curse words that Ekko didn't want to know. She scoffed, running her fingers through her fresh haircut. It suited her, Ekko liked it.

"I'm assuming you got kicked out?"

"It wasn't my fault that I was playing with the tattoo needles! Ugh, Piltover's tattoo shops are so strict compared to Zaun's." Jinx spat on the ground, crossing her arms. Ekko sighed heavily, picking up his hoverboard as they walked along Piltover's streets. "And I don't want to go to the undercity to get fresh ink, they use Shimmer to ink the skin. And after all the shit that went down, I'd pass on more Shimmer being injected into my body."

"How did you get your previous tattoos?" Ekko asked, gesturing to the blue clouds of powder on her skin. It wrapped around Jinx's torso and arms like a vine or snake. "Looks like they did a pretty damn good job."

"Silco."

Ekko raised an eyebrow. "Silco did your tattoos?"

"I mean, he bought me the ink and helped me plan out where I wanted the tattoos. Also he says, 'If you regret your tattoo, that's not my fault, Jinx' and blah, blah, blah!" Jinx hopped past the cracks on the sidewalk. "But he's dead now, so I dunno where to get my new tattoos from."

"I mean, can I help you?"

She rolled her eyes. "You're so corny, Little Man."

Jinx's POV

After mapping out where she wanted the tattooโ€”on her right upper armโ€”Jinx sat on the floor as Ekko dipped the sterile needle into a bottle of navy ink. "Are you sure you know how to tattoo me?" Jinx asked, drawing the sketch on her tattoo design onto her arm with a stencil pencil.

"I'm not licensed nor experienced, but it's better than you tattooing yourself," Ekko said and Jinx scoffed, mildly offended. He came over, bringing the material, but his eyes widened at the design. His jaw dropped and he struggled to recover from his surprise. "Where... Where did you get that sketch?"

"Oh, the blue rose? Just thought of it in my head." Jinx shrugged as Ekko nodded slowly. After he told her about the other universe Powder, Jinx had a sudden and clear thought. A tattoo design of a rose where the petals would slowly reveal her face. And though she doubted Ekko would notice, she also included his face there. You know, she had to mark him as hers, right? "Alright, Boy Saviour, don't disappoint. If you fuck this tattoo up, I will strap every bomb I have onto your back."

A bead of sweat dripped down his forehead. "Uh... Sure."

"Good talk."

When the needle made contact with Jinx's skin, she winced and sucked a deep breath. She was used to pain, but had forgotten the sharp prick of a needle. Ekko continued to make sharp jabs, letting the ink seep in steadily. "Your design is beautiful," Ekko added randomly.

"Oh, thank you," Jinx said suspiciously.

Ekko tsked. "You can never take a compliment, can you?"

"Ha, you first."

"Touchรฉ." Ekko took out the needle, stepping back to observe his work. And, well, maybe to reverse Jinx too, that was a different story. Jinx glanced down, inspecting the ink job and was about to touch it when Ekko shouted out. "Don't, let it dry!"

"Gosh, and people say I'm loud," Jinx said, impatiently waiting for the tattoo to dry. She looked at the ink. "Hey, there's still some ink in here, let's not waste it. Hmm..." She smirked, nodding towards Ekko's arm. "Matching tattoos?"

Ekko put on his jacket. "Hell no."

"Puh-lease?" Jinx puffed up her cheeks, stuck her lower lip out, widened her puppy eyes, and tilted her head down. She truly embodied Powder again, and it was hard for Ekko to refuse. He let out a groan, shrugging off his coat and Jinx exclaimed in victory. She penciled the same blue rose design onto his arm, grinning like a madman.

"Don't mess this up," Ekko said.

"Of course, I'd never ruin your big muscles and risk screwing up your tough boy act." Jinx then actually debated the idea. "Wait, now I'm tempted to do that. Gah, I'll do that another time!" She pricked his skin with the needle and Ekko's face contorted in pain. "Shit, sorry, I should have given you a warning."

"Nope, just finish inking." Ekko's facial features continued to strain as Jinx went on to tattoo his skin. She hummed a little tune, trying to distract him from the pain. When she accidentally released too much ink, she'd lick her finger and smudge the navy ink away. "Isn't that your saliva?" he asked.

Jinx snorted. "Are you complaining?"

Ekko's face went red. "Never mind."

"Ta-da, we're done!" Jinx tossed away the needle, knocking over the nearly empty ink bottle and grinned. She pulled Ekko to his feet and held his hand, dragging him over to a mirror. Jinx's tattoo had already dried by the time Ekko's was fresh. The design had turned out beautiful just like Ekko said. "Ah, damn, I screwed up a bit on that line. My bad, Little Man."

Ekko's eyes softened. "It's okayโ€”I prefer the imperfection anyways."
