A/N: So this is another short one-shot, but what if Arcane was based on true events? Like it's still the League of Legends universe, but Arcane's events actually happened and the show was just a biography. Enjoy, because I'm so sad that Arcane has ended-

Ekko's POV
The interviewer, named Clare, sat in a chair that opposed the sofa that Ekko and Jinx sat on. After the final season aired, the TV show Arcane was vying for their PR team to make a move, scheduling every interview they could. "Welcome back to Screeners, today we have co-stars Ekko and Jinx who play their respective selves in the biography show Arcane, based off of the war between Noxus, Piltover, and Zaun two years ago. Fans have loved this show for its efficiency despite only starting filming and recreating historical footage a few years prior. What do you have to say about that, Ekko?"
"Well, I think the screenwriters were very effective and quick, they made the necessary cuts to Arcane and presented both sides of the same coin. For a biography TV show, it really displayed our voices," Ekko replied and Jinx stifled a giggle next to him. He knew that she'd comment his response was too professional-sounding.
"And Jinx, would you say playing yourself brought back memories?" Clare asked.
"Oh, definitely, but I admire the Arts Team for really accurately presenting my, uhm, disorder. The hardest part about filming Arcane was that the entire storyline occurred in real life, so there's bound to be tensions among the cast, but it was alright. Of course, not everyone could play their part. Isha..." Jinx let out a nervous laugh. "Well, another girl was hired for her part, so it was hard to really connect with her. But Isha's child actress did a great job, really nailed down the part..."
"Ah, yes, some of the actors on Arcane are deceased, so others were hired to fill in their spots. For example, Heimerdinger could not be reached, so another Yordle played his character," Clare explained.
"For the record, his current actor played Heimer's character extremely well," Ekko added as Jinx nodded in agreement. It wasn't easy to act in a show that revealed everyone's vulnerabilities, but it helped them connect with each other again.
Clare read off of her script. "So... is Season Three of Arcane confirmed?"
Jinx chuckled lightly. "Arcane has finished its tale, there will be no more acts."
"Yet, the story doesn't end there, does it? The show is a biography, therefore it's confirmed that Jinx—the character you quite literally are—is alive. There is talk that the TV show's screenwriters are drafting another script for new shows that go further," Clare said eagerly. "Can you add onto that?"
"One of the three is already in production with me and Jinx starring in it," Ekko said.
Clare gasped, turning to the screen. "Did you hear that, Screeners?"
"Damn right they did," Jinx laughed, shifting in her seat. "While Arcane was a cinematic masterpiece, we do regret to say that many of the characters will have to be left behind. Yes, it has ended, but the memories we made are unexplainably great. The show really displayed the meaning of being a Piltie and Zaunite. Just because one thing ended doesn't mean a new beginning will."
Ekko smiled at Jinx, his eyes locked on his former childhood friend and enemy. Filming the scenes they had together was a heartache because it had happened in real life, but they had moved past that. Filming Arcane together helped them heal and become friends again. "Couldn't have said it better myself," he agreed.
Clare smiled slyly, crossing her arms. "Well, now let's get to the interesting part. Arcane fans have speculated for two whole years of the ship TimeBomb, which I'm sure you are aware of. Because the show is a biography, and there are multiple scenes with you both, is it true you have feelings for each other?" The question caught Ekko off guard, causing him to blank. "Season Two's Episode Seven really sealed the deal."
Jinx scoffed, trying to downplay everything, but a blush crept up her neck. "Well, Arcane is an a-adaption, so there's bound to be added drama." She wasn't exactly answering the question, but neither was Ekko. "It's just acting, we're both co-stars and good friends."
"Yes, good friends." Clare wasn't convinced. "May I remind you that the show is a biography?"
"We know, goddamnit, we're the real actors in the show," Jinx snapped, flustered.
Ekko raised his hand. "Uh, scene break?"
"Well, we'll be right back, Screeners!"

Jinx's POV
"They're asking such dumbass questions," Jinx told Ekko once they were out of Clare's line of vision, getting coffees in the Screeners' break room. In ten minutes, they'd be called back to finish the interview. "The last question was out of line."
"The PR team is sticky with this, Jinx," Ekko shrugged, handing a mug of coffee over to Jinx. They both were avoiding the big question; did the camera chemistry go off-screen too? Jinx wasn't sure how to feel about Ekko, romantically speaking. You love him, her mind taunted. But you're too scared to admit it and risk destroying someone's life again. God, playing Jinx as Jinx was hard. "We just have to dodge Clare's questions."
"Dodge how?"
"Just be vague, you know. Subtle it."
"Do you think I'm subtle?"
"Hell no."
Jinx smacked the back of his head, scowling. "Careful with the insults, Boy Saviour." They downed the mugs of coffee and returned to set, sitting on the sofa. This time, they made sure to sit further apart so Clare didn't get any ideas. The director shouted something and the cameras were rolling again.
Clare started small. "So, Jinx, how is it to work with the likes of Caitlyn?" Oh, this will be fun. Jinx sprang off into a rant of how she disliked Caitlyn's character—she still did a bit, though the hatred lessened once Vi and Caitlyn started dating—and even jokingly petitioned for Caitlyn to be written out of the show.
"Yeah, Vi's Cupcake didn't appreciate my comments," Jinx snorted. "Eat my shi—"
"Jinx," Ekko coughed subtly.
"Interesting..." Clare continued to ask non-threatening questions until she displayed a photo on screen. Jinx went pale, a blush appearing on her cheeks. Ekko visibly shrank back in his seat once seeing it. The image was of their kiss scene in the alternate universe, an acting scene that Jinx remembered very clearly. Her lips against his, it was impossible to forget. "Ekko, here's a question for you that fans have been dying to ask since the release of Episode Seven... Do you love Powder or Jinx?"
Oh... shit.
Jinx jumped to her feet. "That's it, we're done with the questions—"
"Jinx." Ekko's answer startled Jinx so much that she sat back down. She refused to meet his eye, but snuck a glance as Ekko exhaled sharply, continuing his reply. "The days I spent with the other Powder were amazing, but I left that heavenly universe for a reason. I couldn't do that to the other Ekko and his Powder. Deep down, I knew that I had to come back to our original timeline to save my Jinx. It was always going to be Jinx, regardless of what the screenwriters planned."
Jinx didn't know that. Ekko glanced at her and then back at Clare, rising from his seat. "The NDA clearly states we can leave whenever, so consider this interview finished. Thank you, Clare." Before anyone could protest, Ekko grabbed Jinx's hand and led her out of the building, quickening their pace.
"We signed an NDA?" Jinx blurted.
"No, but they don't know that," Ekko said rapidly. They reached the back of the building, managing their escape. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I didn't mean to put us on a pedestal with my reply, I'm sorry. I-I did mean what I said, but I'm totally fine if you don't—"
Jinx wrapped her arms around him, hugging him closely. She let out a sigh of relief, her arms tightening around his shoulders. This felt like the hug they shared before the final battle, but this was different. "If it matters, I felt the same. Screw it, I was fucking stressin' that you would choose Powder as a response."
"Jinx matters to me. You matter to me."
