Ojiro, Koda, and Tokoyami stood in a circle around Midoriya, in an attempt to protect the sleeping witch. They were being attacked from all angles by thugs, and it was getting harder to fight them off. Ojiro was using his skill in marital arts to fend them off, while Koda used the staff, and Tokoyami had Dark Shadow keep them at bay. Unfortunately, these thugs seemed to be a lot stronger than the other ones, and not too mention the fact that they were already tired as is. Shigiraki skratched at his neck absentmindedly, grinning. It seemed as if his plan was working so far.. Good!! He'd have that mini-boss on his team in no time!!

Ojiro gritted his teeth, "Why are these guys after Midoriya-san anyway?" Koda merely shrugged, and Tokoyami said, "Perhaps they can sense his darkness, and want to use it for themselves?" They continued fighting, Ojiro and Koda panting slightly. Dark Shadow seemed to be tired as well, although it was hard to tell for sure. They weren't going to just give up, however. After all, if they couldn't fight off these guys, how would they be able to call themselves heroes? Ojiro shoved a thug into Dark Shadow, who punched them in the face. However, their attempts were frutile, and they were quickly overwhelmed, and left unconsious. Just before they knocked out Tokoyami, Dark Shadow let out a shriek, in an attempt to get somebody's attention.

Unfortunately, everyone who might've heard were all trying to fight off other villains, or trying to find their ways out of one of the areas. Shigiraki grinned, still scratching his neck. This was perfect!! Now, all he had to do was grab the mini-boss while he was still AFK.. He ordered the NPCs to back away from the group, and they complied without too much protest. He stepped forward, picking Midoriya up while keeping his pinkies up. It wouldn't be too good if he disinagrated him, after all. He then carried him over to the central plaza, setting him next to the Nomu, who had finally woken up from being knocked unconsious. "Nomu, keep him here." Shigiraki ordered.

The Nomu made no response, although Shigiraki knew that it would follow through. After all, that's how the Nomu was designed. The witch mumbled in his sleep, as if he were having a conversation in the midst of his dream. Or, maybe it was a simple string of nonsense, it was hard to tell with how quiet it was. Shigiraki rolled his eyes in annoyance, but did nothing to make him stop. After all, it wouldn't do to wake up the mini-boss before he was in the villain base. Trusting that the Nomu could handle protecting the witch, Shigiraki walked away from the plaza, and to the entrance. He needed to get Kurogiri out of that net...

Todoroki was distracted, trying to help Uraraka with her quirk exhaustion. Good. He approached Kurogiri, and placed all five fingers on a chunk of ice. He shivered from it's cold temperature, but watched as it turned to dust none-the-less. He contined on like that, until all of the ice chunks were gone. Kurogiri was then able to pull himself up, shaking the net off of him. In a flash, both of them teleported back to the central plaza before either Todoroki or Uraraka noticed. As he had expected, the mini-boss was still there, accompanied by the Nomu.

Moments later, All Might burst through the door, yelling "I AM HERE!!!!" However, he didn't have his signature smile. Rather, he had an intimidating scowl on his face, most likely upset that his precious students had been attacked. Shigiraki grinned, "You finally came, All Might!!! Nomu, attack!!" In an instant, the bulky monster rushed forward, punching All Might across the face. All Might stumbled back, but quickly retaliated with another punch, which seemed to do no good. This continued on, with All Might taking most of the damage. Shigiraki laughed, "Ha!! Give up, All Might!! With Nomu's shock absorbtion, your punches won't do anything!!!"

All Might responded with, "I'm not going to give up so easily!!" and began punching the Nomu at high speeds. Smoke came off of All Might's figure, although most of it was hidden by the dust that had been kicked up. "I just have to go beyond... PLUS ULTRA!!!!" He shouted, landing a final punch on the Nomu, which sent it flying through the glass dome, leaving the USJ. Shigiraki growled, "This isn't fair!!! You weren't supposed to beat Nomu!!!!" Moments later, a gunshot rang out, and Shigiraki found that one of his hands was bleeding.

"Kurogiri, let's get out of here. And bring him with us." He said, jerking a thumb in Midoriya's direction. "As you wish, Master Tomura" Kurogiri replied. All Might began running over, in order to get his student away from them, but it was already to late, and the young witch had been engulfed by a misty portal, as well as Shigiraki. Just like that, the villains were gone, taking Midoriya with them. All Might collapsed to his knees, as the other pros helped the students get out of the different areas, and placed the injured teachers onto stretchers. He had failed. His student was right in front of him, and he failed to save him from capture.

Shigiraki sipped at a glass of water, as Kurogiri tied the witch boy to a chair. They were in a musty, abandoned bar, which they called their base. At one corner of the bar sat an audio-only TV, which their boss, nicknamed 'Sensei', used to comunicate with them. "So, how did it go?" Sensei asked. Shigiraki said, "It went horribly!!! We didn't kill All Might, and he defeated Nomu!!! The only good part was that we injured the stupid teacher NPCs!!! Well.... we also captured a powerful mini-boss to join our team." He scratched at his neck absent-mindedly, as Sensei chuckled. "Sounds as though it went well for a first mission. Do not fret, Shigiraki. You won't succeed on your mission to kill the Symbol of Peace on your first try, but eventually, I am sure you will prevail. Now then, why don't you tell me a little bit about this possible new recruit? How do you plan on getting him to join?"

Shigiraki scratched at his neck absent mindedly, "I don't have a plan to get him too join.... He's a powerful dark magic user, and a monsterous one at that" While he couldn't see it, he could practically feel Sensei grinning as he said, "Do not worry, Shigiraki, I know exactly how to bring him too our side. His type are simple, really. No matter how much they try to hide or deny it, they all have one thing in common. They are all power hungry beasts. All you need to do is offer him enough power, and he'll join your League, no doubt. It would also help to make him unable to use his magic."

"How do I do that, exactly?" Shigiraki questioned, and Sensei said, "It is a simple process. I can guide you through the steps."

Midoriya woke up, groggily opening his eyes. The first thing he noticed was that his back, neck, and waist were all extremely uncomfortable. Moments later, a musty smell of dust, alcohol, and damp wood filled his nose, confusing him. That wasn't what his bedroom smelled like.... Everything was dark, and he soon realized that his hat was covering his face. Since when did he sleep in his magic gear? He pulled his hat up, and quickly realised that he was sat on a wooden chair, with rope tied around his waist and wrists tied together. He was sitting in an abandoned bar, the chair he sat on surrounded be a circle of..... some sort of white powder, with what looked to be enchanted ropes. He soon realized that he felt weak, powers completely diminished. The feeling made him unreasonably angry, and he felt the overwhelming urge to destroy the circle that surrounded him.

Of course, he knew he couldn't, being all tied up, and instead thrashed against the the ropes. The more reasonable part of him tried to contain his overflowing rage, although it failed in the end. After awhile of thrashing, he ended up tiring himself out, having less energy than he normally would've. Whether it was because he didn't have access to his magic or just because he hadn't slept properly due to being in a chair, he wasn't sure. While he had tired himself out, he found that he still seemed to be unreasonably angry. He sighed, pressing his back against the chair. His memory on what had happened to get him in this situation was a little bit fuzzy, and he decided to try to calm himself down, in hopes that he'd be able to remember what had happened properly and analyse his current situation.

Right. The USJ had been attacked, he, Ojiro, Tokoyami, and Koda had gotten trapped in the Mountains Zone, he tried to fight that monster (Nomu, wasn't it?), and had passed out because he used too much of his magic. The most logical explanation on what had happened after was that the villains took him while he was asleep, and now he was in their base. Seeing as he badly wanted to destroy the circle surrounding him, it was probably the reason his magic wasn't working properly. The question was, how come his runes hadn't canceled it out? He knew he was wearing his robes, he could see them clearly, so why hadn't they activated? Was it because he had been asleep? If that was the case, he'd have to work out a solution to that...

Or, maybe it just targeted magic in general, and not dark magic.. After all, his runes specifically canceled out dark magic warding spells, so they might not work on a regular magic warding spells. Was it even a spell? That might be a factor as well.... Midoriya quickly found himself mumbling at high speeds, theorising about why his runes hadn't done anything, dispite the rage that bubbled up in his chest. There was another thing. Why was this situation making him so angry? When Uraraka used her dark magic warding spell, he hadn't gotten nearly this angry! That had only happened after she had requested a dual, and even then, most of it was due to his darkness beast.

"At the cafe.... I only got angry when I was at risk of losing my magic forever... And right now, I can't use my magic!!" A growl escaped him after the last statement, although he didn't notice it. "How much of it was really because of my darkness beast, though... After all, it only enhances the negitive emotions that I feel.." He continued, eyes widening slightly at the realization, "Is.... is this just the way I already react to not having my magic...? Almost uncontrolable rage?" Deep down, he had already known that the way he reacted at the cafe was his fault, but it was easier to blame it on his darkness beast. The discomfort that he felt at the thought was quickly drowned by his rage, however, and he didn't exactly feel bothered to try and damp it down this time. He had already figured out the majority of his situation, after all. His energy had been restored, and soon enough, he was thrashing against his restraints once again. After all, he needed to get out of this stupid chair!!

A door swung open, and Shigiraki walked into the room, making a beeline for the barstool. Midoriya's eyes followed him, and after a moment, he noticed that Kurogiri stood behind the counter, polishing a glass. How long had the misty man been watching him? He must have voiced the question out loud, as Shigiraki turned to look at him, and Kurogiri chuckled, "I've been here the whole time!" Now, Midoriya was sure that in most situations, the statement would've made him either nervous, or completely embarassed, but this wasn't exactly one of those situations. Instead, he simply glared angerly, and Shigiraki stood up from his seat. As he began walking towards Midoriya, the latter let out a growl, causing the former to chuckle. "You really are like how Sensei said you'd be when you don't have your precious magic!!!"

Midoriya's growl paused, as he said, "What do you want from me?"

"Oh, I just wanted to make a deal of sorts with you!!"
