"Get away from my friend!" Midoriya growled, his form much larger than it usually would've been. The area behind him was in chaos due to the Nomu, but if Iida didn't know better he might've thought that Midoriya did it himself. Honestly, he looked quite terrifying when he was angry.

While Iida couldn't tell what expression Stain was making, his tone held defiance and annoyance as he said, "This boy is your friend? He's a fake hero, you shouldn't associate with him. Tell me why I shouldn't kill him right now." Midoriya's scowl deepened, and the shadows in the alleyway started to twist and turn, bubbling up like hot tar that Midoriya could control with a flick of his wrist.

"Because if you don't step away from his willingly," Midoriya started, an angry venom dripping from his voice, "I'll force you to myself." Midoriya took a step forward, and the shadows around him started to bubble more than the rest, some of the shadows turning into physical tendrils of darkness.

Stain laughed, "You really think you can beat me?"

Midoriya tilted his head, almost innocently as he said, "No. I don't need to beat you, I just need to protect Iida-kun until the pros arrive."

Tears welled up in Iida's eyes as he watched Midoriya, and he couldn't help himself when he yelled, "Midoriya-san, no!! This is my fight, you'll only get hurt!!"

Midoriya paid no attention as he stepped forward, and Stain said, "He's right, you know. If you leave here now, I'll spare you."

Midoriya gave an enraged growl, and the shadows lifted up suddenly, darting at Stain from every direction. Stain jumped upwards in an attempt to dodge the attack, but more shadows came crashing down from above, easily knocking him into the concrete. He only lay there stunned for a moment, before standing back up, and charging at Midoriya with his katana in hand.

Midoriya narrowed his eyes slightly, and muttered out a spell. Soon after, Stain froze up, as if he had been turned to stone. Midoriya approached his frozen form, and tapped him idly, easily knocking him over like a domino. While the impact wasn't very strong, it seemed to be enough to knock Stain out of his trance. He stood back up with a growl, and Midoriya said, "What? You don't like being paralyzed?" Iida was surprised by that. Midoriya wasn't normally the type to taunt his opponents like that, but perhaps it was just because he was angry at the moment.

Stain didn't respond, instead going for another charge, which was blocked by a wall of shadow. Stain slashed through the wall with his katana, and Midoriya lept backwards in order to avoid the long blade. The shadows attacked Stain once more, and Stain only barely managed to dodge it, though he ended up in an even darker part of the alley. Midoriya easily manipulated the shadows to trap Stain, and all he could do was helplessly struggle against it.

Midoriya glared at him, before sighing and walking over to Iida, "How injured are you, Iida-kun?"

Iida looked at his expression, which had quickly changed from anger to worry, and he sighed and said, "Just the cut on my back.. I'm not sure how bad it is, though."

Midoriya nodded, "Can you move?"

Iida shook his head at that, "No. I think it's his quirk."

Midoriya nodded, and walked away from him to check up on Native, who was unmoving and sitting in a pool of his own pool. Midoriya put two fingers against his neck and said, "He's not dead, just unconsious. I need to get you two out of here before Stain breaks free - I don't know how strong those shadows are."

Midorya then picked up Native with a surprising ease, and took him out to the front of the alleyway. He set him down, and walked over to Iida, easily doing the same with him.

Once he had set Iida down, he looked over his shoulder at Stain, and looked contemplative for a moment, before making a motion that looked like squeezing something. The shadows holding Stain squeezed further, restricting his struggles even more than before. He nodded to himself, and turned back to Iida, "Do you think the paralysis will wear off soon? Someone needs to go get a hero, and I don't want to leave you two here with him."

Iida hummed in response, and attempted to move his arm. To his surpise, it twitched, and he said, "I think it's starting to already"

Midoriya nodded, the grim look on his face softening to something a bit more happy, before turning serious again. "Good. Once you can move again, go find the nearest hero and bring them here. Explain what's happening if you think that they might not come. I'll keep Stain busy until then."

It seemed that he didn't need to do much to keep Stain busy, however, as the shadows were more than strong enough to hold him still. Iida had managed to get help from Endevour, which Midoriya didn't seem too happy about (Iida wasn't sure if it was because of the light his quirk caused, or Endevour himself), and Endevour easily took down Stain.

After it all, Iida ended up passing out, either from exhaustion, or from stress.

Midoriya groaned once again, sitting on the hospital bed next to Iida's. He was fine, really! He hadn't gotten injured during the fight, nor during the time he was with the League, and he wasn't at all tired either! If anything, he was full of energy! But he was currently much larger than he should be, and that seemed to cause concern amongst the heroes and doctors. They had already done multiple tests, but they couldn't figure out what was causing for him to be so much larger than normal.

Honestly, he sort of liked being like this. Sure, he wasn't used to it in the slightest, which made moving a bit awkward, but he was so much stronger like this, it was almost as if he were still in his darkness beast form, except he didn't have the mutations that came with it. It was honestly really cool, but since they didn't know why it was happening, there was a chance that it could be dangerous for him.

He stared out the window, looking out at the night sky. You could see a lot more stars in Hosu than you could in Mutsutafu. His leg bounced, bustling with energy. He didn't want to be in this hospital. He wanted to go outside and do... something!

Maybe bask in the glorious night time, or run around or train or play with his magic or something! But not sit around in the hospital, waiting for the doctors to find a way to reverse whatever had made him so huge.

As much as he wanted to escape from the hospital, though, he knew better than to actually leave or anything. Besides, as annoying as it was, it made sense that they were worried about him. After all, he had been kidnapped for who knows how long, and now he was suddenly much bigger than he was supposed to be. It was understandable that they were concerned.

He supposed all he could do for now was wait.

By the time Iida had woken up, the sun had risen and Midoriya had shrunk back down to his normal size. He hadn't slept the entire night, and he was still full of energy, which was clear to Iida by how he bounced around.

At this point, Midoriya had a theory that his magic might've made him get so much bigger than normal. Most likely, the darkness had made it stronger, and the extra energy from his magic needed more room to be stored, thus making him become larger in order to make more room.

"Hey Iida-kun. How're you feeling?" Midoriya asked, only looking at him a few seconds before allowing his attention to drift to everywhere in the room.

Iida shrugged, "My back is a bit sore, but I'm alright. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that, and you got hurt because of my bad decission."

"Nah, I'm not hurt. I'm only here cus I was way bigger than normal, and it worried the nurses." Midoriya replied, "I'm glad to hear that your mostly fine as well."

They went back to silence after that, neither knowing how to continue the conversation from there. The silence was only broken by a knocking on the door, and soon after, a police man with a dog head walked into the room. "Woof. Iida Tenya, Midoriya Izuku." He said, giving a nod of aknowledgement. "I am Tsuragamae Kenji, cheif of the police. I'm here to talk to you two about what will happen to you after the events of last night."

Both Midoriya and Iida sat up attentively at that, and Tsuragamae continued, "As I'm sure the two of you are aware, what you did last night can be considered vigilantism, which is illegal. On top of that, Iida, you have admitted that you were planning to kill Stain, once again a very illegal thing, woof."

The man turned to face Midoriya, "Woof, Midoriya. It has been discovered that you never really broke any laws in what you did, seeing as you are quirkless, therefore you will not be facing any reprecussions. Woof" he then turned to face Iida, "You, Iida, are very fortunate. While your actions last night normally would have gotten you arrested or at the very least expelled, both your family and UA have chosen to take responsibility for your actions, and you will face no legal reprecussions."

"The media has already found out about the situation, so unfortunately, there was nothing we could do to prevent word of your fight with Stain from getting out." Tsuragamae said, before leaving the room once more.

It was safe to say that Shigiraki was not happy with the way things had turned out. Not only had they lost Midoriya, but almost all the attention on the news went to Stain's fight with Iida and Midoriya rather than their attack. Either that, or people were assuming that Stain had been a part ot the League, which was far from the truth.

Unfortunately, Kurogiri couldn't do much to cheer him up. What could he do? Tell him that they'd get Midoriya back? While it was certainly possible, they had no idea as to where he was at the moment, and the chances of capturing him again were lower, since they would expect it this time. It was best to just wait until Shigiraki had calmed down on his own. Then they could figure out their next move.

Kurogiri sighed to himself at he sweapt up the dust that was once one of Kurogiri's wine glasses. It would be nice if Shigiraki didn't destroy everything when he was angry like this, but there wasn't much Kurogiri could do about it. After all, Shigiraki was his master, not the other way around. It was a shame, though. All of these perfectly good things going to waste because the heroes had made Shigiraki upset. Such a shame.

Once he had finished sweeping up the mess, he put the broom away, and went to go look for Shigiraki. After all, Sensei had given him a message that he needed to relay to his young master, and it wouldn't do to disappoint Sensei.

"What do you mean we have to move bases?! It's not fair!! That stupid virus, taking our mini-boss and telling the other team where our base is!!" Shigiraki shouted, slamming his remote on the table next to him.

Kurogiri hummed, "I'm afraid so. Sensei said that he has a back up base prepared for us, and he has given me the coordinates. He said that you should start packing up anything you want to take so I can warp it there. We have until sundown."

Midoriya found that he didn't want to leave the hospital after all. Namely, because he would be going back to Inko's house, not his dad's house. It made sense, seeing as that was where he had always lived, but he didn't really want to go back there. Not when he knew that his dad was out there, and his dad cared about him so much more than his mom did. But as much as he didn't want to go back there, he didn't really have much of a choice. Even if he did have a choice in who he went home with, his dad wasn't really prepared to have him moving in.

He sighed, walking out of the hostpital room. The doctor had said he was good to go, and Iida still needed to get looked over since he was injured, and Midoriya would rather not intrude. As soon as he walked out of the room, he saw Uraraka, Ojiro, Koda, Tokoyami, Todoroki, Jiro, Kirishima, and Kaminari, all sitting on a bench across from the door. It was a bit surprising, really. He had expected to see Ojiro, Koda, and Tokoyami, and maybe Uraraka, but not the other four of them! They seemed happy to see that he was okay though, based on the way most of their expressions lit up.

"Midoriya-kun!! We were so worried when we saw you on the news!!"

"Yeah! But is was pretty manly of you to help fight off those Nomu!"

"I am glad you escaped the darkness unharmed."

"Sorry we couldn't do more to keep you from getting kidnapped back at the USJ"

"We're just glad your back now."

And despite the fact that he just escaped a kidnapping and fought a serial killer, Midoriya grinned. "It's good to see you guys again"
