It was the first day of school after the USJ Incident had occured. For some, it was just any other school day. For others, it was a nerve wracking event, fear of a villain attack filling them. For class 1-A, it was a reminder of what they had survived, and what had been lost. The empty seat behind Bakugou made the air feel cold and unpleasent, as many of them wished that Midoriya would walk through that classroom door, and sit down with a bright smile. It was a pressing feeling of dread which filled the atmosphere, suffocating any happiness that might've lingered. Some of them felt scared, some felt guilty, some were sad or even angry, but one thing was for sure, no one could possibly break a smile, not even All Might himself.
While it was surprising that Aizawa walked into the room covered in bandages, even though he should really be resting, the surprise and shock didn't linger very long. The dread was simply too heavy, too crushing to ignore. Even the teachers throughout the day seemed to be affected by the gloomy mood.
The day wasn't really all too eventful, really. Aizawa announced that the Sports Festival was being delayed until they got Midoriya back, and there was a chance that it'd be canceled completely. Of course, they already knew all of that. They went through other basic lessons as usual, and they did simple sparring in heroics. It all felt so... normal, other than the oppressive gloom that filled the air.
Amazing how one student could make such a big different, huh..

Shinsou walked home from school, a miniscule smile on his face. The cat cafe had opened back up, meaning that he could go visit his favorite fluffy buddies again. Of course, it also ment that he had to work again, but he didn't mind, he liked his job there. Yeah, yeah, he worked in a cat cafe, big deal. It was only a part-time job, anyway. He was pretty happy that he got to go back, though. Everyone there were actually pretty decent, although they didn't know his quirk, so that was probably part of why they were so nice.
But before he could go there, he had to get changed into his work outfit.

A figure lurked through the shadows, following the cat-themed vigilante closely. He was on a patrol, searching for any leads to the League of Villains once again. The figure following him knew this well. In fact, that was why the figure was following him.
Once Shinsou, now called Neko, had stopped walking for a brief second, the figure stepped out of the shadows, revealing a man with short, shaggy gray hair, equaly gray eyes, and round glasses. He had a cigar in his mouth, making Neko scrunch his face up in disgust, although his mask hid it.
"Hello there, I presume that you are Neko?" The man asked. The vigilante squinted invisibly, "Why should I tell you?" Frankly, he had every right to be suspicous. This random guy had been following him around, and he looked pretty shady. Plus, he was a vigilante, anyone who'd be looking for him had a high chance of being bad news. Neko was new too this, but he wasn't dumb.
The strange man took this as a yes, however, as he said, "Well, I'm Giran. I've heard that you were looking for the League of Villains?"
Neko paused for a moment, before nodding, "Yes, I am." He'd have to play this safe. While he didn't know much of anything about Giran, he did know that the man worked closely with the League, meaning that he might not help him if he stated his real reason for searching for the League of Villains. Perhaps he could say that he was looking to join them? He knew that plenty of vigilantes ended up going villain, and while he didn't at all want to be a villain, he would only be pretending for a while. Hopefully.
Giran nodded thoughtfully, "Well, depending on your reason and how much you're willing to pay, I might be able to help you with that."
"I want to join the League" Neko stated, the lie easily falling off his tounge, sounding much more confident than he felt. This was not a good idea!! If it went wrong, he was screwed!!
Too late for that, he already said it.
Giran smirked, "Thought as much. I'll have to talk to Shiggy about it, of course, but if he's willing to recruit you, I'll bring you to them. After payment, of course."
"Erm, I don't have anything on me..." Neko said sheepishly. It was true, he hadn't been expecting this to happen that night, so he didn't bother to bring any sort of money.
"Hm. Well, I suppose you'll just have to be ready to pay up next time we meet, then."
And with that being said, Giran retreated back into the shadows.

Hisashi grumbled to himself as he read the message over again. It made sense that the group didn't trust him, really. Stranger danger and all that. But, it was still pretty frustrating. He supposed that he'd just have to find Izuku on his own, then. That was fine, he could do that. It might take awhile, but he could do it.

Uraraka grinned to herself, completing the tracking spell once again. She was confident that she had the spell down, and could use it to track down Midoriya.
The only problem was that she'd need something special to him in order for the spell to work. Well, she could use his DNA, too, but she didn't have any of that.
Good thing Koda had that staff, huh?

Midoriya watched as Shigiraki came into the room, "Come on, Kurogiri. Giran found a new player for us." Shigiraki said, and Kurogiri nodded, "Are they here?" "No, Giran wants to tell us his stats first, and if his stats boost our team, Giran will bring him here." Shigiraki replied. Kurogiri nodded once again, "Lead the way, Master Tomura." With that, both of them left the room, leaving Midoriya alone. He really wished that he could escape already. The more time he spent there, the more tempting the poitons became. He feared that he'd become a villain if he didn't leave soon. But.. What could he do? He was tied to a chair, and his wrists were tied up as well, so he couldn't untie himself.
Wait. His legs weren't tied. Was the chair skrewed down? He used his feet to scoot it slightly, confirming that it was not skrewed down. Great. He could use this too his advantage!! He continued scooting along, draging the ropes that blocked his magic with him. Seems that he was still stuck without his magic for now, but if his plan worked, he'd have it back real soon. All he had to do was make his way to the counter with all of those glasses, break one, and use the shards to cut himself free!! He was already half way there, and surely Kurogiri and Shigiraki wouldn't come back before he got there, right? Yeah.
He finally got there, and reached for one of the glasses. It was hard to grab, since his hands were tied together, but he could manage it. After awhile of fumbling, he grasped a glass, and smashed it against the counter. He then fumbled to pick up one of the sharper shards, cutting himself by accident in the process. He put it in his mouth, and lifted his wrists up in front of his face. He struggled to cut through the rope, but he eventually suceeded in his attempt, freeing his hands. He then took the shard out of his mouth, and moved to cut the thicker rope tying down his waist. He had to be careful, he didn't want to injure himself in his escape. As he was sawing away at the rope, however, he heard footsteps approaching. Shit.
He continued to rub the edge of the glass against the rope, slowly cutting it away, but before he got halfway through it, the door opened. "Oh my..." Kurogiri said, creating a portal around his hand, and another next to him, preventing him from cutting the rope any further. "Give me the glass, Midoriya." Kurogiri comanded, but Midoriya shook his head, pulling his hand out of the portal, and manuvering it so that he could continue cutting the rope. Seeing as that wasn't going to work, Shigiraki stomped over to him, and grabbed his wrist, avioding touching him with his pinky. He pulled Midoriya's hand away from the rope, and despite Shigiraki only using four fingers, it was practically a death grip for Midoriya.
"You have a higher intelligence stat than we originally thought, huh? You really will be a useful player too us." Shigiraki said, a creepy grin on his face that made Midoriya's skin crawl. "For now, I guess you'll need better restraints. Kurogiri?" The misty man nodded, warping away in an instant. He came back with what looked to be a vaccine in hand, although Midoriya was pretty sure that wasn't the case. "Do not worry, Midoriya." Kurogiri said, pressing the needle against his arm, "This will only put you to sleep for awhile, nothing more."
Kurogiri injected the contents of it into his arm, and soon enough, Midoriya had passed out.

Emerald eyes fluttered open in a daze, snapping to attention the second they were opened. His gaze traced the room, nodding to himself when he saw that it was the same one he'd woken up in the first time. He then looked down at himself, inspecting his new bindings. He was sat in a metal chair now, bolted securely to the ground. A metal strap held down his waist, a key hole on the right side. He now wore simply hand cuffs, too small for him to wiggle out of. His legs were straped to the chair legs with more metal bindings, locks at the back of each. A newer version of the circle was surrounding him, removing his abbility to use magic entirely.
When Shigiraki said better restraints, he really did mean better. Midoriya could only think of one way to escape from these bindings, using his star pin as a pick lock, which he absoultely would not do. That could ruin it, he didn't want to do that!
Something shiny on the counter caught his eye, and after a little bit of staring it down, he realised, Shigiraki had thought of that. He had taken Midoriya's pin away while he was asleep. A feeling of dread filled his gut as he looked at his pin from afar. His pin, his fragile, delicate pin that he wouldn't go anywhere without. The pin that his father had given him before disappearing, never to be seen again. The one special thing he possesed that wasn't magic or quirk related, the most important thing he had. And there it sat, so vunerable, so easy for one of the villains to just... destroy. So easy for them to get rid of the last reminder of his father that he had. Tears filled his eyes, and soon enough, he was sobbing.
In that moment, he didn't care for the anger and fear that his lack of magic brought. He didn't care for the feeling of temptation that the scent of those poitons brought. He could only focus on the overwhelming sadness, grief, and loneliness. His father was gone, and now his pin was gone too.
He just wanted to go home to his father's comforting embrace. He didn't want to be here anymore.
