Shinsou flopped down onto his bed with a groan. He had tried to get information on Giran, honestly, he had. Problem was, his quirk couldn't force people to tell him things that he didn't know. He had found that out after brainwashing a few random thugs, and asking them where Giran was, only for them to give no response. Only that blank, brainwashed stare, waiting for instructions. After that, he had tried to interogate villains normally, but none of them gave answers. Either they didn't know, or they didn't want to say. In the end, it didn't matter which it was, he hadn't gotten the information he needed, meaning that he'd basically wasted the whole night.
Not that it was anything new, really. He didn't often find much of anything, the most he did was usually fight some petty criminals. He grumbled in annoyance, and turned onto his side, wrapping himself with his blankets. He might as well try to get at least a little bit of sleep, right? Yeah.
╚»★«╝ _ ╚»★«╝
Meanwhile in the criminal underground, word of a vigilante nicknamed 'Neko' who was looking for Giran spread.
Giran smirked when he heard the news. Looks like he had a new client.

Bakugou Katsuki was pissed. First off, they had been attacked by villains recently, which was annoying as is. Those little shits really thought that they could beat the great Katsuki? Pathetic!! For another thing, school had been out for a full week, which he normally wouldn't mind, but he wanted to become a hero as soon as possible!!! This stupid fucking setback was going to make being the best hero ever taking longer, which really fucking sucked! Of course, classes were starting up tommorow, but it still angered him to no end.
And then there was Deku. Stupid fucking Deku got himself kidnapped, and now everyone was scared shitless. The villains weren't even that fucking strong, stupid Deku just exhausted himself by overusing his stupid fucking magic! And besides, the fucker was quirkless, so it didn't even fucking matter, did it? So why the fuck was everyone so freaked out over it?! That was probably what pissed him off the most. Stupid fucker was causing so much fucking panic over nothing!
Whatever. It didn't fucking matter anyway.

Uraraka had made some progress with the tracking spell, although she wanted to practice it a little bit more before she tried to track down Midoriya with it. She was putting away her supplies, having tired herself out. Plus, she was hungry, and she figured she should clean up before she went to go get a snack. As she finished cleaning up, her phone buzzed, indicating that she had recived a message. Hopeful that the O:MSR group had found something, she opened up the notification.

Tokoyami: I have recently encountered a man who claims to be Midoriya's father. He claims that he is searching for our friend. Shall I add him to the chat?
Kaminari: Yeah!! He can totally help us!! He'd know how to find Midoriya-kun!
Kirishima: I'm with Kaminari. Especially if he's already looking for him.
Jiro: Seriously? We don't know him. You can't be sure that he's telling you the truth or not. He might be working with the villains who captured Midoriya!
Kirishima: oh yeah, I didn't think of that..
You should probably look for some proof that he's actually telling the truth. Maybe look at some police files? :Uraraka
Ojiro: Are we even allowed to do that...? Seems like it'd be illegal or something.
Kaminari: It's not illegal if no one finds out!!!
Tokoyami: Yeah!! What the Pikachu said!!!
Tokoyami: Apologies, that was Dark Shadow. I am not too sure we should meddle with that kind of darkness.
Jiro: I seriously don't think you should trust that guy. Did you already give him your number?
Tokoyami: Indeed I have
Jiro: I suggest you block him, then.
But he might be helpful! I really think that we should look for some evidence on whether or not he's Midoriya-kun's father before we make a choice. :Uraraka
Ojiro: But how do we do that without breaking the law?
Todoroki: Perhaps we should contact his mother?
Maybe, does anyone here have her contacts? :Uraraka
Koda:No..
Kirishima: I don't think so
Kaminari: Not me!!
Jiro: Yeah, no.
Ojiro: nope
Tokoyami: I do not
Todoroki: I thought you would, since you already knew Midoriya.
Jiro: well, looks like that option's out. And I seriously don't think that we should add him.
Well, I've gotta go now, @ me if you need me or find something!! :Uraraka

Uraraka flipped her phone closed, and stood up from where she had been sitting, stomache growling. Time to go get that snack.

Tokoyami hummed as he closed the messanging app. It seemed that the others didn't want him to invite the man onto the groupchat. He would respect that, it did make sense that they didn't trust him either. The only reason Tokoyami even began to believe him was because of his similar appearance to his classmate, and the name. Even then, he could be lying about his name, so trusting him was pretty risky still. Alas, Tokoyami got a strange feeling that he was trustworthy, and he chose to listen to said feeling.
Dark Shadow popped up from behind him, "Don't worry about it, Fumi!! If he is a villain, we can fight him!!!" Tokoyami shook his head, "We do not have enough knowledge about him to fight him just yet, my friend. Besides, I doubt that we shall find a need to."
After a few moments of thought, Tokoyami opened the messanging app up again. It would be best if he contact Hisashi, and give him an update on the situation.

Tsukaochi was tired. So, so very tired. He stared at the two files on his desk intensely, as if staring at them long enough would make them disappear. Alas, it only made his co-workers look at him with concern and pity.
Of course he had been given not only the case for Midoriya, the student who had recently been kidnapped, but also the case for a new vigilante who had been nicknamed Neko due to his cat mask.
Don't get him wrong, he loved his job, loved being able to help people as a detective, but come on!
He desperately needed a break from all of this, but could he really just decide to take a break from searching for a missing kid just because he was a bit tired? No. Who knows what the villains were doing to the poor kid? Every second was another moment that Midoriya could get hurt, and Tsukaochi had no time to waste.
They had very few leads on either case, though. Neko was too new to the underground for him to have enough information yet, and since the League had a teleporter, he had little to no way of tracking down their base. But, he would not just give up so quickly.
So, he filled up his fourth cup of coffee for the day, and got back to work.

Kurogiri stood behind the bar counter, watching the green haired witch as he muttered to himself, eyeing the two potions placed on the counter. It seemed that the boy was trying to decide whether or not it was worth it, as per usual. Of course, Kurogiri knew that eventually the witch would cave in to his power hungry nature, Sensei had said so himself, and Sensei had never once lied to them. But, perhaps it was about time to give him a nudge in the right direction. And the best way to do that was to gain his trust. Sure, tempting him with the promise of power would lure him in eventually, but the boy was too blinded by his drive to be a hero to give in just yet. Just waiting for temptation to do it's job would take too long, and the heroes would eventually come to take him back.
But the question was, how to gain his trust? His best bet would be to converse with him, and get him to open up. It would take awhile to do that as well, but combining that with the temptation of power, and Midoriya was sure to switch sides.
Midoriya wasn't going to start a conversation with him anytime soon, so Kurogiri figured he should start one himself. He probably should aviod topics that were too personal, or would remind him of the fact that he had been kidnapped, otherwise he would fail to gain any trust. "So, Midoriya-san, what sort of hobbies do you have?" That seemed like a good conversation starter. Not too invasive, but it would still provide Kurogiri with information he could possibly use to start more conversations with him in the future.
Midoriya looked up at the question, eyebrows furrowed and his mouth a tight line. "....Why would you need to know that?" he questioned, head slightly tilted, though not enough for his hat too fall off. It seemed that he was more guarded than Kurogiri had originally thought. "I'm simply curious, nothing more." Kurogiri replied, but it didn't seem to satisfy him, because he simply huffed and went back to his mutterings.
Strange. Kurogiri was sure that his question was one that people regularly used in conversation, although he admitedly didn't socialize all too much. He must be wary of Kurogiri still, then. He supposed it made sense, seeing as he did help kidnap him. However, he had expected at least a little bit more of an answer than that.
Maybe if he answered his own question, it would prompt Midoriya to do the same?
"I am personally very fond of keeping things organized here, as well as bartending." Kurogiri said, wiping a glass absent mindedly. Midoriya shot him a pointed look as he said, "I'm not going to be buddy buddy with you. You and your league tried to hurt my friends, and Aizawa-Sensei. I'm not your friend, don't act like I am. The only reason I've even considered your offer is because you're using my own magic against me. I don't want to be anything like you, so don't bother."
Kurogiri sighed, "Very well, then."
Perhaps some of his inital agression still remained, after all. But at least he knew that the boy was considering the offer. That meant that eventually, he would cave. Not that Kurogiri doubted that. He trusted Sensei's word, and Sensei said that he would fall for temptation eventually. He just would prefer to speed up the process a bit.
Not that he was impatient by any means. Usually, he'd be fine with waiting. But the heros were searching for him, and if they found him before he accepted the offer, he'd go back to being a little hero. That would not be good.
The boy had potential to become a dangerous enemy, if he wasn't an ally.
Which was why Kurogiri simply had to make sure Midoriya joined their League of Villains.
