Next day

"Mumma papa..." Anika ran to the hall  smiling wide, squealing in happiness. She saw her family sitting there talking and laughing.

"What happened Anika? Why are you screaming?" Mansi asked watching her daughter.

"Mumma, I got the job...." She screamed squealing more in happiness.

"What?" Mansi and Harshad gasped. They pulled Anika into the hug congratulating her.

"Mumma, I have to join from today only. The office time is 9 AM but they told that I can join by 11 AM as its my first day and they informed me late night." Anika said smiling.

"Late night?" Harshad asked in confusion.

"Yes papa, they send me the mail after 12 in the night. But I saw it now." Anika said as her parents nodded their head knowing.

"Get ready then, its already 8.40." Mansi said earning a nod from Anika. She ran back to her room to get ready.

Getting ready for the office, Anika came down to the dining. She joined her Father Mother and Brother for the breakfast. She ate it really fast.

"Maa, Papa... Bye I am leaving." Anika said kissing both of their cheek. They kissed back on her forehead.

"Dii, all the best." Sahil said as Anika took him into a hug. He kissed on her cheek and she returned in on his head. Anika left to her office in her Champa.

Reaching the office, she greeted the receptionist who greeted her back.

"Hello ma'am, how can I help you?" The receptionist asked smiling.

"Umm... Hai, I am Anika Mehta?" Anika said smiling.

"Oh Yeah, you are joining today right?" The receptionist asked realising.

"Yeah." Anika smiled.

"Ma'am just a minute." Receptionist told and anika nodded. The receptionist called someone and informed about Anika's arrival. Within 2 minutes a man in his late 20s came there smiling.

"Hello Miss. Anika Mehta, I am Mohammed Altaf Ali, Office Manager." He introduced himself to Anika. Anika smiled nodding.

"Lets move to your cabin?" He asked. Anika nodded her head as he led her to her cabin.

Reaching infront of her cabin, she saw her name plate on the door.

She walked in and got amused by the interior. She was mesmerised by the view.

"Sir, this cabin is so beautiful." Anika said examining the cabin.

"Miss.Mehta, you can call me by my name. We are equal here." Altaf said coming to her. She turned to him.

"How? You are Office Manager and I am Just PA. Obviously you are my senior." She said shrugging her shoulders.

"No no, the job you gonna do earlier was done by me. When the works got heavier, I told the boss that its impossible for me to look after the office works and staffs along with the meetings and projects. So he told me to search for a PA for him. And that's how you're here. So basically we're equal." He told smiling. She nodded her head in acknowledgement.

"Then you too have to call me Anika." She said smiling. He smiled and continued,

"You have to look after the meetings, projects and deals. You'll have to manage the meetings. Sir will not be present at the office in day time. Only i have seen him. He don't like to show his face to anyone. You can inform me anything and i'll inform it to the boss directly." Altaf said making  Anika confused.

"Why he don't attend the office?" She asked.

"That's his personal matter and i don't interfere that. You can contact boss through me." Altaf said making her understand.

"Okay, i'll take your leave. Wait for 10 minutes, i'll send you the details and you can start your job. Call me if you have any doubt. All the staff's cabin numbers are there in a book including mine. You can use that." Altaf said and walked out of the cabin. Anika sighed and walked to her seat. She smiled caressing the seat and then sat down. Withing 10 minutes Anika got the, details pf her works and she started her job.

Its already 7:30 in the evening but Anika was still working. Altaf was passing by when he saw her cabin lights on. He walked in with a confused face.

"Anika?" He called her name, resulting her to come out of her working-zone. She looked up at Altaf.

"You are still here?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah, i had some more works to complete." She said smiling.

"Are you planning to complete the whole month's works in a day?" He asked chuckling. She giggled nodding no.

"Close your works and go home. Its already past 7.30. Boss would arrive anytime. He don't like anyone present at the office when he arrives." Altaf said alerting Anika.

"Okay." She said and started to wrap up her works.

"Should i accompany you till down?" He asked seeing the office completely empty. She nodded her head and both walked out of the office. He accompanied her till the parking.

Anika thanked him before starting her champa. Altaf waited there till she left the compound. He saw her scooty leaving and a car entering simultaneously. He knew his boss is here.

Anika reached home. Parking her champa, she walked inside to be welcomed by her brother's hug. She smiled hugging him back.

"How was your day dii?" He asked walking with her to the couch.

"It was great. What about you?" She asked sitting on the couch along with Sahil.

"It was amazing. I have tests from next week dii." He said atlast pouting. She chuckled ruffling his hair.

Mansi came to them with water. Anika drank it. Meanwhile Harshad also came back from his office. Anika described her first day before going to her room to get changed.

Anika sat down on the bed and took out her phone. A mischief smile cane to her face as she ran her eyes through the contacts. Without wasting any time, she dialled his Mr.To Be's number.

He picked up the call at the first ring itself surprising her.

"Hello."

"Hai! I didn't knew you were so eager to talk to me that you picked up the call on the first ring itself." She said suppressing her giggle.

"Anika, come to the point." He said making her pout.

"Okay." She replied twisting her mouth.

"Shivay, you told me na that i'll get that job..."

"Hmm..."

"Guess what..."

"What?"

"Offo idiot, I got the job yaar." She said casually. After 2 minutes she realised what she said. She bit her tongue with closed eyes. There was no response from Shivay.

"I-I am so-sorry shivay." She said stammering.

"Hmm..." He replied making her roll her eyes.

"Today was my first day at office." She said suddenly excited.

"How was your first day?" She heard him asking. She smiled widely before answering.

"It was amazing. I loved the office, staffs my cabin and Altaf. He was such a sweet person." She said all excited. Shivay was humming to all her words. Anika continued ranting about her office and day, until she heard someone calling Shivay sir, thought the phone.

"Shivay, are you in office?" She asked and got yes as an answer. She looked at the clock and saw 9.45.

"Are you serious Shivay? Its already dinner time and you are still working?" She asked amused.

"Anika I had some pending works. I'll go home after sometime. Right now, I have to check some files and projects." He said making her sigh.

"Okay, take care bye." She said before cutting the call. She looked at the phone for when Sahil came to her calling het for the dinner. She left to the dining, with Sahil.

11.30 PM

Shivay stepped inside the mansion to see his family sitting in the hall joking and laughing. He walked directly to his room.

In 15 minute, he came out of the bathroom after freshening up, just in a towel, wrapped around his waist, he stood infront of the mirror,drying his hair.

Just then his phone rang, which was kept on the table nearby. He recieved the call without looking at the caller id, and kept it straight, with the support of the mirror. He continued working in his hair without realising that it is a video call.

He looked at the phone hearing a gasp and saw Anika sitting at the other end with open mouth and wide eyes. His eyes widened in realisation. He immediately kept his hands on his chest. Anika giggled at his response. He started to search for his shirt and pant here and there in hurry.

"Shivay relax, its okay. Calm down and your dress would be in your wardrobe right?" Anika said controlling her giggle. Shivay immediately ran to his wardrobe and took out his night dress running inside the bathroom. Withing 2 minutes, he came out wearing his dress.

Taking the phone into his arm, he walked to the poolside sitting there, dripping his leg inside the water.

"What made you call me at this time? Is everything okay?" He asked as soon as he sat down.

"Yes Shivay everything is fine. I just was getting bored na, so thought to call you. Wait i'll add OmRu too." Anika said and added Om and Rudy too making it a conference call.

"Bhabhi, everything alright?" OmRu asked as soon as they received the call.

"No doubt you guys are brothers. All of you asked the same question as soon as attended the call." Anika said rolling her eyes. OmRu giggled but Shivay was just listening sitting quietly.

"Guys, let's play something. You know, before you guys, I used to talk to Shravan like this. We used to talk late night." Anika said chirping.

"Shravan Who?" Rudy asked raising his eyebrows.

"Arey Shravan is my friend. He was senior in my college, when I was in LA. He is more like a brother to me." OmRu nodded their head smiling. But here Shivay was burning in anger, as soon as he heard the name Shravan from her mouth.

"Anika, Om and Rudra, I have some presentations to make. Bye." And he cut the call, even before other three could response.

Shivay sat there for some more moments, before entering his room. His eyes were blood shot.

He threw his phone resulting it to crush into million pieces.

Then he laid on the bed and closed his eyes trying to sleep.

Here in the call, OmRu and Anika started to talk.

"Guys, I got a job." She squealed making other too to squeal with her.

"Wow.... Tell us the details Bhabhi." Om said being excited. Rudy was not less.

"Today was my first day and it was great. The company name is Prior..." Rudy interrupted her

"Arey that..."

Rudy got interrupted by Om.

"Bhabhi, its already late. You have office tomorrow right? Go and sleep." Om said and Anika nodded her head.

"Okay guys. Good night." She wished them and they wished her back.

Anika laid down on the bed and closed her eyes to sleep.
