How many times have you lied to yourself?

What have you done during the three and a half months of vacation given to you?

I've lied to myself more than I could count this summer, and I find myself in the same place as I was the first day.

I mean, it wasn't all that bad.

I went to new places I've never been to, and I've met new people and made friends.

Then I met him.

Sometimes, you'd think you wasted the days that have passed by when you don't do what you promised yourself you'd do.

However, these fabricated lies also change you in and out, whether you realize it or not.

And some small lies we make, change our lives,

For the better or for the worse.

My name is Adelaide Summer, and this is how I spent my days, and ended up where I am right now.
