I haven't done much in the way of poetry in a while, and one night I looked up at the setting sky and saw something that for hours I could just gaze at and never get tired.
The sun set was special. I had hardly see it and I hope one day I do 😄

Sky of pink,
Fixated with yellow,
The sun beginning to sink,
And the night waving hello.
The rarity of a mystical view,
As soothing as a blankets arms
A feeling I never knew.
To the grace of simple charms,
My smile grew,
Happily with no alarms.
The cold breeze gifting chills,
But yet warm my body feels,
The warm pink of a sun set glows,
Only for a short time before darkness shows.
A temporary flower closes its petals
Giving way to a calm night as the light settles.
Sky of pink,
Fixated with yellow.
You have given me thought to think.
And feelings of marshmallow.
I hope to see you soon,
But for now. Let the night consume
