PAST ARC — There are two ways a demon is created. Through birth or transformation. Demon Maia belonged to the population who were naturally born in the Netherworld. With no kin to speak of , she is a mystery the tabloids love to jump on every chance they get.

Everything came easy to Demon. Her beauty , her seduction , her luxury. No demon knows how she secured this power for herself , but the gossip was that she was sleeping with the royal court. Turned out it was true !...sorta.

The new king had inherited the throne of the Netherworld , and with the new crowned royal , comes her job of being their favorite concubine. Not behind the back of the queen , no , never. The queen is well aware , and Demon makes sure to please her as well. Being the royal concubine came with its own plethora of benefits well beyond riches. Shes seen as a celebrity to other demons , both hated and loved.

Beauty , raw talent , and a lavish life... so where did it all go wrong for this minx ? When she got a little too close to the humans.

For you see , demons are allowed to mingle with humans , as they are what gives demons energy. Demons love to feast on souls , and there are an infinite amount of ways to acquire a soul. Intercourse was one of them. Demon Maia was an expert in this execution of harvesting souls

It just couldn't fulfill the craving she had for genuine connections. Wanting to clear her head , she would sneak away from her job to get a drink at a bar in the city of Lumen. Succubi aren't limited to entering Earth , as any worlds with humans in them are able to be accessed. Disguising herself as a human , she'd walk through a alleyway before coming across a mangled android. This being intrigued her , and out of curiosity , she'd spend the night trying to repair it... it didn't go the way she expected. The android's eyes shot open and had a iron grip around Demon's neck.

With that , Demon walked off to get drunk at a bar nearby. Trouble began to brew as a customer began to flirt with her , much to Demon Maia's disgust. " Listen pig , I'm not interested in sleeping with you. So just fuck off and let me drink my cosmopolitan in peace. "

The man tried to get violent , but before he could , a robotic arm intervened. Rebenna's iron grip forced the man to pull away. The tall android looked down at the man before silently turning to Demon.

" Aww , you missed me. " Demon cooed. Before she could get another word in , a fist immediately threw her against a wall with a harsh thud. Rebenna scowled and looked to the bartender. " I'll have a whiskey. Put it on the lady's tab. " the bartender nodded and quickly got to work on making the drink. She took a sip of it , and placed cash on the counter. As she walked to the door , Demon Maia looked to her. " I... Thought... You didn't have a digestive track.. "

Rebenna shrugged and looked to Demon one last time. " I couldn't give away anything about me , not to a demon. If you ever find me again , maybe you'll learn more about me. "

Just like that , the android was gone. She knew she was a demon the whole time. And Demon... had finally gotten a taste of love at first sight. Why a android , she doesn't know. Quite frankly , she doesn't care. One thing she knows for sure...

She has to see that android again. After all , she couldn't let her secret out. Shouldn't be hard to seduce her. Her greatest challenge yet , and it invigorated her.

— Her backstory was the hardest one to come up with out of all the other personas. I had MANY different concepts for her , but none of them interested me. I'm still not satisfied with her backstory , but until I can come up with a better one , it'll remain simple. Besides , if all the personas were pieces of my trauma , it'd get old REAL fast LMAO.
