As the family was made they were making things more comfortable. Getting a flat in the city everything was being perfected.

Claudia grew accustomed to her family quickly. Seeing Lestat as somewhat as a teacher. Louis and Lunette as parents more comfortable with them.

Claudia stood on a podium as the seamstress came over and was working on her dress. Louis holding fabrics to Claudia to see what she liked. Lunette was looking at the shoes for the girls unfinished blue dress.

"Minsour! I need more light." The woman told Lestat as she was on her knees working on the bottom of the dress.

"She needs more light." Lestat repeated saying it to Lunette agitated and would've killed her right there but they need to finish the dress.

"I am to go blind!" She added to the frantic blonde. The brunette man put a hand to Lestat to try to calm him down putting a finger up thinking for a moment.

"She is to go blind." Lestat told Louis. Louis looked at him then set down the fabrics walking out away to go grab more lamps.

"It would be more easier to finish it during the day." The woman suggested truthfully.

"During the day I'm afraid I'd have my days sacrescent." Lestat told her walking out following Louis.

Lunette caressed Claudia's face smiling. "I'll be right back flower, I think I left some of the shoes down stairs." She said her Yellow bow that layed in her hair holding it back. Half up half down still long to her back leaving the room.

Claudia stared at the women for a moment letting breath once she smiled holding her doll and staring at the mirror.

The women began to cut the fabric wincing and pulling her finger back as a blood droplet formed.

"Let me kiss it to make it better." Claudia told her reaching down and pulling her finger up with the women slowly standing and smiling at the sweet girl.

The blonde girl kissed it at first and then bit down causing the woman to snatch her hand back.

Walking back in Lunette looked down at the three boxes of shoes she had. "They were right in the-" Stopping in the middle of the room to look at the girl gasping slightly from the shock.

Then Lestat and Louis walked in Louis holding two more lamps. Lestat sighed at the sight.

"Claudia! Now who will finish your dress?" He says shaking his head before walking forward.

"Never in our home." Lestat says walking taking her arm and hitting it not hard but enough enough send the message.

"It loses practicality." He explained.

The women and man gave each other a look before looking back at the girl.

"I use to make my dolls dresses I'm sure I'll be able to manage......So we don't have to worry about accidents happening." Lunette told them forcing a smile slightly babying her.

"Very well." Lestat said letting go of the girl before picking up the body and walking out.

Exchanging looks at each other while Claudia stared at them tilting her head.

Claudia slept in Lunette's or Louis Coffin whenever they weren't having each other's in theirs, twirling her little fingers through her hair. Even when they did they still made room, until she wanted one of her own.

Even when she woke up, she still went to their coffin.

Lestat saw the girl as a prodigy someone to learn....a experiment almost. Teaching her to last the moment until she got what she wanted.

While Lestat and Claudia went out to a party so Lestat can show her off in all of her glory Louis and Lunette stayed home.

Lunette hand sewing the fabric together for a green dress. The fabric was quiet expensive but they managed to get it. Louis sat in a chair reading a book.

Looking up to watch him as he did the same making contact earning smiles from on another.

She enjoyed it. This seemed perfect the family that she wanted was here in front of her in her home town.

Standing up after sewing together the sleeve looking at him humming to herself walking forward to place it on her bed walking back to him placing a hand on his shoulder one hand holding open his book the other grabbing hers and kissed her knuckles.

"Mmmmm, my beloved." Lunette whispered to him putting her head on his other shoulder while her arm rested on his other staring at the words in the book.

"My wife." Louis responded back kissing her hand again.

"What if we get a pet for Claudia? Simple birds." Speaking gently and quietly to him so she didn't fully disrupt his reading.

"Birds. Yes." The brunette responded nodding.

"Yes." Repeating his words kissing his cheek before pulling away from him. The ring around her neck now rested on her finger since it fit better as it was adjusted.

Walking at night Lunette holding Claudia's hand while Lestat walked with his cane and Louis walked behind Claudia. The world changed as magnificent strangers appeared from all over. Ships turning into steam boats time seemed endless and to by quick for humans when you're enjoying it. The same with vampires.

"God what would I have to give for some good old fashioned blood." Lestat said looking around as they walked off the main dock.

"What, Yankees aren't your tatse?" Louis asked grabbing Claudia's other hand swinging it with a soft smile on her face.

"Their political flavor doesn't quiet suit my tatse." Lestat spat out slightly smiling down at Claudia while they walked.

Letting go of Claudia so she could walk on her own Lunette wrapped her arm around Louis while they walk leaning her head on his shoulder.

Claudia walked and slowly stepped up on a new pathway staring at the naked woman singing who had led her there. Her body was perfect she wanted it....she wanted her more than her blood.

"Now that's just a true creep." Lestat said walking up next to her with the other two who walked to the left of him staring at the woman. Lestat's hand went to Claudia's shoulder but she rolled her shoulder back walking and leaning onto Louis while holding Lunette's hand.

"What? Don't you want her?" The blonde male asked confused.

"I want to be her." Claudia responded to them both staring at her fantasizing about what she would look like grown up.

"Can't I be her Louis?" She asked looking up at Louis. Louis head snapped to Lestat with a sad look knowing he couldn't speak to her or tell her she couldn't. It would hurt her to much.

Lestat understood before grunting shaking her head. "You sound more like Louis everyday. Soon you'll be eating rats!" Lestat hissed before walking off away from there group.

Claudia scrunched her nose up. "Rats? When did you eat rats?" She asked disgusted while Louis leaned down to her.

"It was a long time ago. Before you were born." Louis explained before slurping his toung causing her to laugh.

"I most certainly wouldn't recommend them." Lunette told her laughing at the two before staring at the lady one last time before she forced gentle Claudia to walk away with them.
