She has dwelling in a sense of fear deep inside her heart, that he might defeated by his own self. That thought itself gave her various unnamed emotions. She knows if her fear become real, it will  not only be his defeat, along with him it will be end of HER.

Clueless Kathir, hugged her back tightly and try to pacify her. As he attemp hard her crying gets inconsolable.

But today he has to prove himself to her parents get his love.

He has to show he is not less than anyone who try to snatch his love from him.

Moreover he has to compel him to believe he is deserving her.

The only one he doesn't need to prove anything is HER.

He has shaken fully inside and outside. But somehow he had to show that he is strong and capable of handling anything, he cannot afford to let her down, she has gone through many difficulties just the sake of him.
She has endure many torment for him. The thought of giving her more affliction is unbearable for him.
At any cost he has to make her believe that he is fine not suffering
